Westeros. For some, it was a land of intrigue. For others, it was a place filled with opportunity, maybe even a chance to gain more power. But there were still others who may have seen these things but also saw things most people didn't. For them, it was more complicated. They saw the wonder of it. But they also saw how hard life could be. Many of these people were commoners. And yet, some of them were nobles who might have appeared to have everything they could want.
One of these people was a girl watching her brother practice with some of the other boys. She knew it wasn't a lady's place. Still, a part of her wanted to be out there with them. Why couldn't she be like them? She didn't even have to ask. She already knew the answer./p
But then a voice brought her back to the window and out of her fantasy. "You should be out there Cersei. Jaime's good, but I bet you could even beat Gregor if you tried."

Cersei looked over, unable to hide a small smile. "I probably could. But you know what Father would say Tyrion. Lannisters aren't fools. And a lady doesn't fight."
Tyrion nodded, frowning slightly. "I know. Jaime is the warrior. One day you're going to marry and make sure the line continues. And I'll… do something." It wasn't news. They had all heard it before. It always seemed to have been the plan, ever since any of them could remember.
Cersei nodded. "I'll probably marry a Targaryen and get sent off to King's Landing. Or Dragonstone. And I'll never see either of you." Tywin Lannister was loyal to the Targaryens. That was no secret. If a marriage could be arranged between their families, it would no doubt be welcome. But she was happy where she was. Why did things have to change? Of course, the idea of being queen was nice. But would it fix what was wrong in the world? Could even that make her truly happy? Or would it still feel like something was missing—like everything about the world seemed wrong somehow?
