I own neither Naruto nor Percy Jackson.

Small legs were running as much as they could through the woods they found themselves in.

The small five year old blonde they were attached to was trying his best to escape what was chasing him.

The child wound up taking a tumble, a root that was unseen being the culprit.

The young blond was horribly injured, blood streaking down his face like tears.

Dark chuckles pierced the shadows.

"So, you think we would just give up and let you get away? You remind the boss of what he lost, don't take it personally kid. Blame your parents, Minato could have just stayed away from the boss's woman, and lived happily ever after. Too bad he just couldn't settle for what he had."

The child actually stood up, turning to them as they got a good look at what their boss did.

The boy looked to have been tied by his ankles, given how his ankles looked, his wrists and a chunk of his forearms being just as bad, his back was covered in burn holes, none bigger than a thumb, the torn skin going from the edges of his lips to the back of his head, mostly hidden by his hair, proof these men didn't care about what they used to bind him.

The worst damage however, was the damage around his eyes, somehow looking as if he were slapped by something on fire.

"It was her fault. You all say what you want about anything, blame whoever, and even kill me. But it will make no difference. Your boss's whore went after my dad.

The men each laughed, the one to the right was the one whom responded.

"Of course it was her fault. We all know what happened, your pops didn't bat an eye towards her, until she did something to cause him to want her, which led to you being born and her disappearing. Boss just hates to be reminded how he lost. As I said, it's just business."

The three men raised their weapons to shoot, when each were pierced by several arrows.

The young boy flinched, waiting for himself to die.

Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, childbirth, maidenhood and the moon, just sighed as she watched to mortals die, having heard enough of what they were saying to get the gist of the story.

The poor boy was just an innocent bystander and byproduct of Aphrodite's shallow nature.

The boy finally collapsed, causing one of the less hateful hunters to catch him, though most the girls couldn't really bring much hate forward considering how hurt the boy was, added to how young he looked.

Artemis sighed as she said to bring him along to camp to be healed.

Artemis could later be found in her tent, reading through what she found to be the boy's father's journal.

She learned about how the young man was attempting to be the scientist to break the fourth wall as the comics and cartoons put it, his words not hers. He wanted to discover a way to prove the multiverse theory, though that later turned to trying to generate newer and newer forms of energy, some ideas would even interest Athena.

Though she would later find that he had fallen in love with a red haired tomboy from Japan, and even managed to catch her eye.

She also recognized a name she knew Athena used in there.

This man rejected Athena for the girl, Hera would be proud.

She was starting to feel like one of those girls reading a soap opera, before commenting and comparing her life and those in it with the story... good thing Apollo wasn't here to see this.

She also noticed not long after a page of dual writing, obviously both Minato and Kushina making comments about a rather attractive woman, one who was so beautiful that even Kushina called her hot, tried to flirt with Minato while they were on a date, that Minato had a shift, his handwriting turned more refined, and was speaking about the attractive woman as if she were the one he was dating.

It was just a single entry, and it explained plenty, about how the woman he loved his whole life decided to sleep with him before they married, and how amazing she was, in multiple aspects.

Obvious curse is obvious.

His writing went back to normal of how the man was torn up over the incident, baffled at what he was thinking and even began to hate himself, while Kushina was torn and angry.

Artemis noticed that there was enough to realize what happened, and more. Minato spent a rather nice chunk of his life savings to purchase a wedding ring, the boy also having it on his person, and she would admit the ring even impressed her, a nice sized ruby, with small ones forming the infinity symbol for the band. Ruby was the obvious choice considering how much he complimented her hair.

Minato and Kushina were torn apart because they preferred their real relationship over a one night stand with the goddess of love.

Now she had one of Aphrodite's sons in a tent, back filled with cigarette burns, wrists, ankles, and cheeks, torn up from rope, blinded by some weird chemicals, that she could tell was slapped onto his eyes from a rag, as well as having a broken rib or two, obviously the men let him get out so they could 'hunt' him.

Goddess of the hunt she may be, but if an injured and blind 4 year old is your prey, there were gonna be complications.

Artemis had no idea what to do about this situation at all.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=End=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Well, I might not be able to think of the next chapter anytime soon, just wrote this one while I was home and injured, something wrong with my shoulders and knees, no idea about my shoulders, but I dropped a pallet on my knee.

I had trouble getting out of my bed, then out of my computer chair, at least both are comfy.

But I seriously have no idea what to do with this story, so if someone wants to adopt it, I will be happy.
