Chapter One – New World and New Life

Hi Fanfiction!

First, I want to say Happy Late Birthday to my Beta-Reader/ Best Friend (Xyaqom) who I wanted to surprise with the release of this new story. A special thank you goes to him for always being there for me and helping me with my stories, which I would not be here if it was not for him, and his coaching was always amazing to hear those words from him. So, please check his stories when you get the chance to!

Second, Everyone is going to be surprised to see or hear about this, but this is not going to be To Love Ru. Yes, Alvin D-Rod is going to reach a new anime because I want to explore different anime or manga that are out of there, which I hope everybody does not mind that this story is not a To Love Ru.

Finally, Before anybody asks me about this story is going to be O/C or follow the source material of the anime/ manga. However, I'm not going to answer that question since I want to leave it as a surprise for everybody to see where this story will go next!

(Depth of Orcus Labyrinth)

There was nothing but complete darkness as the young man began to open his eyes to see nothing but darkness at first, then he gathered the strength to sit up straight. "Where the hell am I?" He asked himself with a soft tone and began to look around to find himself in the middle of the large cave, which had black and dark purple stones around him. "Wait… I am still in the labyrinth!" He continues to speak towards himself with his expression, becoming scared and worried since he thought he should not have entered this labyrinth. "Or am I dead?" The young man asks many questions about where he is, but he gets onto his feet.

The light begins to reveal his appearance being 5'4 and his weight is 132 pounds, his hair is deep brown, and his eyes are bright amber. His outfit is a long dark blue jacket down to his black boots and long dark blue pants. The young man's appearance made him look like he was seventeen years young.

A loud but terrifying roar was heard, making the young man turn his head to see a bright white with crimson strips running his head upwards to his backside, and their crimson eyes saw the young man. Dark crimson lightning sent the young man back towards the wall leading him, and it almost knocked the air out of his body. His eyes were having a tough time trying to focus because this level of the labyrinth is a nightmarish setting. He was fighting through the damage and began to walk away from the wolves, and they were going to hunt the young man down for their dinner.

The young man falls onto his knees with his bright amber eyes extends of a surprise because a white bunny with its long ears goes down onto its backside with the young man says, "How the hell did a bunny get in here?" His expression becomes surprised to be frightened since the bunny swings its right foot into the air to make a glowing strike appear, which strikes the young man and wolves by cutting their heads off. "Never mind… That bunny is a monster." The young man told himself with a threatening tone inside of his voice. He turned his head to see what the bunny did to those wolves, then returned to see the bunny used its second ability to disappear into crimson light then reappears in front of the dead wolves which its mouth opens to reveal its sharp teeth inside of its mouth.

Bunny begins to eat the wolves as its meal, and the young man gets back up onto his feet. His foot makes a sound of cracking rocks as the bunny stops eating the wolves. Its head turns back to the young man, and "Shit! It saw me!" The young man could not react since the white bunny appeared before him, and the bunny struck at the young man again.

The young man barely dodges the attack, yet his jacket gets cut onto the chest part, meaning the jacket was torn by the attack. However, the bunny was getting ready to attack again, but someone or something was stopping it from attacking the young man again. Their attention turns to see a large white bear with dark crimson marks on its chest area and around its face was looking down at them. Bear raises his right paw in the air, and it sends the same strikes, but they had the appearance of boomerangs which the white bunny and the young man barely dodged the attack, but the bear slices the white bunny's head clean off by using its opening paw.

"Holy Shit!" The young man spoke loudly as the bear went over to the dead bunny and began to eat the creature like it was the next meal. "That bear is the ultimate beast, and I don't think I can manage this thing alone." His expression shows great fear and despair since he does not want to die from the large bear and then leaves the area trying to escape it. The young man becomes scared about the bear turns its head to see the young man is going to try and get away from the bear as he was running away from the monster bear, which his head turns to see the bear strikes again.

The young man coughs out blood because he feels something is gone, and his eyes look down to see his left arm and hand was cut off by the bear. "No! That thing took my arm!" He was telling himself with his tone is the frightening voice, and his right hand was holding his left shoulder where his left hand and arm were gone. "He's eating it!" He spoke about how his left hand was getting eaten by the large bear, which the young man's right hand placed itself onto the wall.

"Transmit!" The young man screams with the formations of rocks in front of the young man as rocky spikes as he was sliding downwards of trying to get away from the large bear. A rock got hits the young man's head on his backside with his thoughts brought the idea of getting away from the bear was a success since the bear gave up on trying to reach the young man with his light brown eyes began to close themselves.

Is it okay for him to sleep or get knocked out right here?

(At City of Tokyo)

At Tokyo High School, in the middle of the hallway, the young man is a normal teenager who is seventeen years young with his outfit is dark blue jacket down to his waist with a white button shirt and long black pants down to his dark blue with silver outline shoes. He releases a soft sigh because of his thoughts, "Damnit, I'm still tired from working on the next part of the manga," The young man's head turns back to the window with his eyes seeming out of energy or tired from working as a full-time worker.

Behind the reasons he was working awhile, he was a junior in High School for the young man lost his parents during the accident as his father is a detective and his mother is a nurse, which they were there first as first responders. His father and mother got killed in crossfire, but they saved a mother and her little son's lives. However, it left the young man in depression for a while.

"This is why I hate Mondays, and I hate school, yet it does take my mind off those kinds of things." The young man spoke towards himself with a firm. Still, their emotionless voice and expression were the same thing since he did not want to talk about his parents, or the rest of his family were not interested in adopting or taking him into their family. "Then there's another reason why I refused to come here sometimes." He told himself that his voice becomes gentle, and his hair slightly covers his eyes which a beautiful girl appears in front of him.

Her name is Kaori Shirasaki. She is known as the most beautiful girl in Tokyo High School, and she was speaking to the young man was a mystery. Her appearance made her look like she is sixteen years old with her height is 5'6, and her weight is 118 pounds with her 32C cup breasts bounces slightly inside of her dark blue jacket with a white button shirt and black skirt down to her lower thighs. She had long dark blue hair down to her upper backside as she had her hair tied inside of a small ponytail and her eyes were golden brown as Kaori had a bright smile on seeing the young man in front of her again.

"Good Morning, Nagumo," Kaori spoke towards the young man by using his last name with kindness and gentle voice, which the young man's full name is Hajime Nagumo. Her sight turns to see the clock was nearly hitting the time for class to begin, yet Hajime is not concerned about arriving on time or not since he wanted to get away from her and her as soon as possible. "Go to bed early. besides, you might not make it next time." She is worried about Hajime since she does not want to see him being late for school.

"Yes, sure… Morning Shirasaki." Hajime responds to her with a soft tone, and his attention goes towards the other students looking at him like they wanted to bury him alive and leave him there like it was an accident.

After giggling slightly from his tired voice, "Good Morning again." Kaori says it again to Hajime with the other students had a lot of unwanted animosities, yet this was another reason he hates the school. Some of the students could be heard from Hajime as he went inside the classroom to get to his wooden desk, and he sat down at the wooden desk, which he turned his head towards the window to see the beautiful blue skies with white clouds inside of it.

"Why the hell is that gamer nerd close with Shirasaki?!"

"You're just trouble for Shirasaki, so back off. I can hear what they are saying in their hearts besides you cannot use her as a clutch because of your depression."

Hajime always told himself that life can always be easy or difficult for the person, and they must decide on what kind of life they wanted to live since that is what his parents always taught him when they were still around. He lays his head down onto the wooden desk and falls asleep since he wanted to sleep for a little bit because he stayed up late last night to finish the second part of the first volume of the manga that he was drawing.

School's bell rings for everybody to tell them that it is time for the first period in school, and someone kicks Hajime's wooden desk to wake him up from his slumber. His head turned right then left to see another classmate who happened to pick on Hajime daily. He had the appearance of chocolate brown down to his neck, and his eyes are deep brown with his age is seventeen years old with his outfit is pale yellow jacket down to his waist with a white button shirt and dark blue long pants down to his black shoes.

"Aren't you a quick sleeper and class barely going to start." The bully's name is Daisuke Hiyama. His expression was teasing, and his voice was straightforward because Hajime was not interested in school. "I believed you played an erotic game for the whole night." He continued to speak towards Hajime with the same voice and expression with someone else was joining in the teasing for entertainment which led to Kaori going over to her wooden desk to speak to Hajime more.

"Although Kaori's childhood friends will always come here to follow Kaori around." Hajime's thoughts told himself softly, and he released a soft sigh. The center person is the second beautiful girl inside Tokyo High School.

Her name is Shizuku Yaegashi. She is seventeen years old, with her hair being black down to the middle of her backside inside of a ponytail, and her eyes were bright purple. Her height is 5'7 feet tall, and her weight is 121 pounds. Her breast size is 34C cup with her outfit is the same as Kaori's outfit, but her jacket was zipped up to her collar.

On Shizuka's right side is Kouki Amanogawa. His age is seventeen years old as his height is 5'10 and his weight is 172 pounds, with his outfit being the same as Hajime's high school uniform. His hair is bright brown, and his eyes are bright blue.

The left side of Shizuka is Ryutarou Sakagami, and his age is seventeen years old. His height is 5'8, and his weight is 184 pounds. His hair is spiky been, black, and his eyes are brown. He had the same uniform as the other boys do.

"Hajime, maybe you should lay off on Kaori's kindness to you," Kouki spoke towards Hajime with a firm tone since he did not want to show it. Still, he had feelings for Kaori as the other students could tell that Hajime was not paying attention to anybody on what they had to say about it.

"Parts of me are wishing that we get transported to a new world, and maybe I will start a new life… there," Hajime told himself smoothly because he did not want to be seen or heard from again by those who mistook him or treated him like a nobody.

The classroom's door slides open to reveal the teacher holding three large books inside of her arms which she has a serious expression, and the teacher says, "Everyone, did you not hear the school's bell-ringing beside its time? for class to begin." Her tone is the same as her expression, with her height being 5'2, her weight is 125 pounds with her short brown hair down to her neck, and her eyes are light green. Her name is Aiko Hatayama. She might be a teenager, but she is twenty-five years old.

Hajime turns his head back to face the blackboard, but something glowing on his right side catches his attention. Then, he gets up onto his feet to investigate this glowing symbol is on the floor. "What the hell is this thing?" Hajime speaks about the strange and glowing symbol with his right hand was reaching out to touch the floor as the teacher was screaming for everyone to go into the hallways, but it was too late.

One moment the bright light shrines before them as Hajime opens his eyes to see everyone around. Then, he turns his head to see bright colors been, orange, purple, and white like they have been summoned to another world, but the question is who summoned them and why?

They were in a mystical land the next moment, and Hajime was looking around the area to find it as mysterious or in Greek timeline.

(In Tortus – Middle of Heiligh Kingdom)

Everyone arrives in the middle of the large white circle as Hajime turns his head to see a beautiful and detailed painting of an angel or someone who had golden wings on his backside, which Hajime did not pay attention to it. He turned his head to see everyone around were panicking at where they were now, but one of them was Daisuke, who grabbed Hajime's collar of his jacket.

"What the hell did you!?" Daisuke speaks with a furious tone, and his expression shows being angry but panicking about what Hajime did in the classroom.

"I didn't do anything but investigate the circle," Hajime responds to him with a firm tone, and his expression shows being honest, which leads everyone to blame Hajime for doing something, but some of them were calming them down.

"I welcome all of you to Lands of Tortus, chosen heroes." A voice grabs everyone's attention which, they turn to see a priest bowing down on one knee to greet them with honest expression, and a soft voice is present. "My name is Ishtar Langbard." He is a seventy-year-old man who had a long white beard down to his chest area. His outfit is a white and brilliant white robe and monk's cap about 30 cm tall in the air with a golden cross at the middle of his cap. "Now, please follow me," Ishtar speaks comfortably as Kouki, acting as the leader, goes forward because he wants answers as the rest of the students to begin to follow Kouki and the Priest Leader.

Hajime was looking around the area, and he turned his head to see someone who had a long black nun robe down to her dark blue shoes and black hood with a silver veil covering her eyes. He felt something about this person, but his head turned back to see everyone waiting for him. Her height is 5'6, and her weight is 125 pounds, but Hajime's mind only arranges this.

"I see that you have found one of the scared nuns here, but please don't try to get into their presence for now." Ishtar makes the simple request for Hajime since he does not want to see one of the chosen heroes get themselves in trouble.

(Courtyard of Heiligh Kingdom)

It was a beautiful and massive yard of stone and flowers on both sides. The same nun she stopped inside her tracks because she felt someone was looking at her. She turned her head to see nobody was there. Her clear blue eyes are searching for the person of interest than her thoughts, "It may be one of those filthy demons, but I don't see anyone." She turned her head to go back to her duties, and she was leaving back to the Scared Library, where the only nuns could get into the area.

She opens the large dark blue door, and the nun walks inside the area to escape the world and enter a new one.

(At Diner Room)

It was a large room with two large deep brown wooden tables as everyone went to sit down as Hajime sat down at chair which Daisuke sat down next to him. Hajime listened about the world of Tortus being parallel to their own, but it was created by Erit, who God was, which everybody pays attention to. Everyone begins to hear the story about how Tortus island is filled with humans, beast-man, and demons. The war between humans and the demons is everlasting, yet the demons were tipping the war in their favor since they began to learn how to control monsters. It would leave humans to eliminate from the world. However, Hajime realizes something is not right with the story because it would seem impossible if the humans were praying to their 'Gods' to help them out.

"However, compared to the normal world as this one is more and far superior to that one, and you have incredible powers in this world that surpassed the normal person." Ishtar told everybody with a smooth voice as everyone was amazed by the story, yet one person was not paying attention to it since he had no belief inside of this story about this power or 'God' who could summon them there. "So, will you lend us your hand in our battle with the demons?" Ishtar continues to speak and requests the students as Aiko gets up from her seat as she would not allow her students to get into dangerous situations.

"The people here need our help, so I'm going to be there to help them out," Kouki responds to the request with a firm tone as he was going to help them out as Ryutarou and Shuka were going to join his side since he was not going to allow any harm to come to the innocent. "After all, there must be a meaning for why we were summoned to this world." Kouki continues his speech as a 'hero,' but Hajime turns his head away from the small group of 'heroes.'

Some of the other students began to stand up for the right to stand for the right thing, but the teacher was getting furious with them. She was screaming at everyone about how they would get summoned back to their normal world with no requests or rejections from them, yet some of the students were not going to join inside of the fight.

Everyone was told to get some rest for tomorrow is where the training is going, beginning with, them as Hajime was going to his room that he was signed to, which he turned his head to sees the building with large dark blue doors with his thoughts brought more questions on what the building is and what is inside of it?

(Next Day)

Everyone was gathering at the center of the Heiligh Kingdom, which is where everyone was gathering to see a man inside of silver plate armor with a dark crimson cape attracted at his shoulder armor plates. His height seems like to be around 6'2, and his weight is 184 pounds as his hair is short down to his neck been deep brown and his eyes are dark blue as he was looking at everybody with their outfits is now short sleeve white shirts with dark blue long pants been their training outfits to learn how to control their magic.

"First off, my name is Commander Melds Loggins, and I will be your instructor during this training course." Melds introduced himself with a firm tone, and he showed a bright smile since he was going to teach the students the ground then up to new heights. His right hand took a black plate with a dark silver outline as he continued to speak, "This is what we call a Status Plate, and it shows your rank and job title."

Everyone got their Status Plate with Hajime felt uncomfortable doing this as he looked at the sharp needle then, pointed his finger, and placed it onto the Status Plate to reveal his job title as Synergist.

Hajime was not impressed by his skills since he could not be helpful during the battles as everyone else was getting better skills or magic abilities that would allow them to get better than before.

"My stats say it's 100, and the job title is Hero," Kouki speaks towards Commander Melds with a firm tone which Hajime becomes a little disappointed because he wanted to become a hero like his parents were, yet he always ends up on the short end of the straw.

"Nagumo, let me see yours," Daisuke says as he takes the Status Plate from Hajime's hand, and he sees the status on Hajime was pathetic to look at it. "What kind of shit is this, and what is Synergist?" Daisuke continued his insults towards Hajime with a disrespectful voice, and his expression becomes laughing about how Hajime was nothing but below the average person.

"Synergist is crafting skill but not useful in the battlefield." Commander Melds spoke about Hajime's ability with a soft voice, and he went over to see the Status Plate for Kouki. "Congratulations on becoming a hero." He spoke again to Kouki with a firm tone and was surprised that Kouki and Aiko had incredible jobs.

(Nighttime)

In the outside courtyard of the Heiligh Kingdom, Hajime was walking inside the hallway. He found himself with his expression showing disappointment about his stats, then Hajime stopped himself inside his tracks to find the large dark blue door in front of him. "Is this where the nun disappeared." His thoughts felt wandering around this building, and his hands begin to push the door as he first sees a large midnight blue flooring and white walls with beautiful pictures.

"What is this place?" Hajime asks about the place, and he enters the hallway with his expression showing serious curiosity inside his mind. Then Hajime went over to see the white wall turned into a bookshelf full of books. His thoughts were filled with many questions about what this place is, and his right hand was going to reach out to take a book out, which someone's voice stopped Hajime from taking the book out.

"Who are you, and how did you get in here?" The soft voice speaks towards Hajime, and he turns his head to see the same nun that he saw in the courtyard of the Heiligh Kingdom. His thoughts brought more questions about what she was or how she got here in the first place without Hajime realizing that she was right there. The nun was getting something ready inside of her nun's outfit if Hajime was a demon spy or just someone who wanted knowledge that nobody was allowed to learn.
