AN bleuxe: I wrote this on a spur of moment and it is my first time writing Demon Slayer. Enjoy!
This had to be the best vacation Lydia ever experienced. Going to Japan was a dream that finally came true to her. It was something she saved for her twenty fifth birthday. It was a solo trip and honestly she was ok with that especially with all the personal crap and family problems she had been though back in the states. Being here in Tokyo was more than worth it and she wasn't ready to go home yet, but sadly her vacation was coming to an end.
Lugging her two luggage around to enjoy her final day and decided to visit a bookstore just on the edge of Kabukicho. Her jet black curls bounce in her high puff as her melanin skin soaked up the sun on this beautiful day.
"Hello and welcome, how are you!" the storekeeper quickly greeted with a polite smile.
"Hi! thank you and I'm good!" Lydia replied pushing up her glasses. After making small talk with the very limited Japanese she did know with the older lady. Before hurrying over to the destination she wanted to be which was the manga section.
This whole vacation she want to go to a bookstore to look at manga, but she so busy with sight seeing, food, and enjoying the night scene. That Lydia literally cramming one of her favorite hobbies last minute. She just loved the artwork and the compelling stories. How could anyone not love anime or manga?
Lydia suddenly remembered her ex boyfriend hate it always calling her childish for being into that at her age.
"Don't want to think about that asshole," she cursed out loud because so far during the vacation she didn't think of him.
Looking around Lydia and she finally found it the one everyone kept ranting and raving about Demon Slayer. Even in Japan was very popular which she thought was cool because usually what was popular in the US didn't really do so well in Japan. She had yet to get into it because it was on her list of anime to watch.
"Ok here volume eleven wow she is gorgeous!" Lydia gushed about the girl on the cover. The girl was in a pink kimono with tattoos all over her body and one horn on the side of her head.
"But where is the first book?" because it had to be a cardinal sin to start a manga in middle of it story. After looking on the first to fifth shelf. She still couldn't find it with other manga from a different genre in her hand to read later. Lydia decides to grab a nearby stool because this shelves were getting to high for her 5'3 short ass.
"Found ya!" she squealed happily literally on her tiptoes reach up with one hand while the other hand full of books.
"Miss please let me help you!" The shopkeeper suddenly said from a distance.
This caused Lydia to jump with fright and hit the bookcase as she toppled off of the stool. She didn't even have time to scream because she slammed the back of her head when she hit the ground. Lydia began blacking out as an avalanche of manga buried her.
"Miss!" someone shaking her awake. Lydia only murmured how much her head hurt.
"Miss you can't sleep here ...are you drunk?"
Immediately she was pissed off she opened her eyes to the snot nosed brat who said it.
"No you damn brat I'm hurt not drunk!" Lydia spat having the worse type of migraine ever. Suddenly her eyes rearranged to her surroundings as she corrected her glasses to the the bridge of her nose. Her glasses weren't broken that was a plus, but where the hell was she?
Why was she outside in alleyway on a dirt road? How long was she passed out for? Because looking at the sky the sun was settling. Why didn't the storekeeper call an ambulance?
"Miss! miss!" the little boy tried to get to get her attention again.
"You need to leave as quickly as possible because if the madame of this house finds you. You will be in trouble!" he said quickly grabbing his basket.
"Wait!" Lydia tried to sit up, but the boy was way too fast and closed the screen door behind him. She gingerly touched the back of her head feeling a knot in between her curls.
"Ow that fucking hurts!" she whined, but at least she didn't busted open her head, there was no blood.
She finally got up from the ground dusting off her legs and regretting that she was wearing jean booty shorts. Her luggage she noticed was right beside her. Grabbed an ice cold water bottle from the bag to place it on her head. Until the pain and swelling went down.
Lydia looked around again every house looked ancient like straight out of one of those samurai flicks she seen in the past. Walking around on the streets now and everyone was ether dressed in a kimono or yukata. There no sign of technology or electricity anywhere. But what scared Lydia the most everyone kept looking at her like never seen a black woman before in their lives.
"This can't be happening...where am I?!" she said under her breath trying not to panic.
She definitely wasn't in modern day Tokyo anymore and it was growing darker by the second outside. Lydia noticed that she was attracting a group of men because they seem to follow her everywhere she went. She had her taser in her bag, but she didn't think she could take on five of them, some of them even had katana. Quicken her pace because she might as well be running at this point.
This place seemed to come alive at night because there was a crowd of people walking up and down the street. Looking though the sea of people for any friendly face willing to help. Then Lydia saw him, he was wearing a worned out cloak. But she could see peaks of his green hair underneath the hood. It something familiar to her and immediately headed towards him.
Gyutaro felt eyes on him and looked ahead of him seeing a woman in front. She was huffing and puffing as he took in her strange attire. Not only that, but her skin was the color of a bronze statue and her hair looked like fluffy ringlets. He never seen a human like her before and frankly couldn't take his eyes off of her.
"Help me!" she suddenly said with pleading eyes.
Gyutaro looked confused because she couldn't be talking to him. Anyone who looked at him would paled and completely moved out of his way. Especially when he was shirtless it was enough to make anyone scream. That is why in public he tend to cover up.
"Please those men are trying to corner me," Lydia hoped he would help her. She watched as he moved his green wispy bangs from his eyes to get a better look at the men. They were weakling was his first thought while he lightly itched his chin.
"Whoa your handsome," she commented out loud admiring his face tats and his multi-colored eyes.
"Hm?...Hm? ...Hm?" he arched his eyebrows darting his vision back on to her.
Because there was no way in hell she meant that. She was just saying that to escape her captors or debts. No woman truly found him attractive not in his fifty years since he became a demon, they mostly beg him to be spared from being killed.
"You don't need to lie to me girl...but I'll play along," Gyutaro suddenly smirked wickedly wrapping a arm around her shoulders.
He was waiting for her to pull away or to shrugged his arm off with disgust to prove a point.
"Why would I lie? But thank you!" Lydia sighed happily because his action seemed to cause the group of men to go away.
He was taken aback by her being genuine and especially the way she was clinging. To him it was very similar the way Daki acted. Her scent was suddenly assaulting his senses. It was intoxicating and made his mouth slightly watered. Gyutaro wanted to devour her whole.
"Hey!" Are you listening to me!" she suddenly snapped her fingers in front of his face as he growled irritated by the action.
"Sorry, but my name is Lydia not girl. You wouldn't like it if called you boy now would ya!" she said with confidence.
"No I wouldn't Ly-di-a... do you live somewhere nearby, " Gyutaro sounded out in her ear caused her to shiver. He wanted to eat her in private where no one could hear her scream.
"Ah Don't do that," she whispered with her glasses fogging up because his voice was so raspy and sexy to her. It was giving her a eargism.
Lydia had to come back to reality for a second and suddenly explain her situation to him as they seemly to be leaving the town altogether. Gyutaro patiently listened as she went on and on about nonsense. They made to be a abandoned house near a forest.
"I am curious though what era are we in," she asked as she pulled out her phone because it was late at night now. And of course there was no signal what was she expecting?
"Edo...what the fuck is that?" he frowned at the thing in her hand that suddenly lit up in the dark.
Lydia didn't respond as Gyutaro snatched the phone from her to take a closer look at it. She felt like she was having anxiety attack at this point.
"Edo period...I knew I was in the past, but I didn't know I was that damn far!" she slid down on wall once they enter the house to sit on the ground. She felt unsure what to do next.
Gyutaro was currently too preoccupied with her phone to noticed. Until he became bored of it because all it did would light up when he touched it, showed a colorful picture and then a bunch of numbers. He looked around finding his prey sitting in the corner of the room. Lydia had her one of knee bent and her head inside her hands. She oozes with despair and sadness it was so enticing to him.
"Do you believe me now that I'm from the future or at least not from your world," she said with tears. She was hoping there was a solution for her to go back to her era.
"And you said that you were reaching for a demon slayer and fell?" Gyutaro trying to remembered her story. He squatted in front of her slowly clawing at his scalp. He suddenly liked seeing her face without those weird frames covering it.
"No demon slayer is a manga ...a book. Well in my world anyways," Lydia chuckled as he glared at her because he didn't like sounding stupid to her.
"What do you know about demon slayers?"
"Nothing I never got to read it. Well except maybe the title is obviously about slaying demons," she sighed because he was still glaring at her for some reason.
Gyutaro was contemplating if he should report this to master Muzan because Lydia did have some knowledge of the future or different worlds. As much as he wanted to call Daki right now and tell her too. His sweet little sister was sort of a blabber mouth and just couldn't help herself, when it came to important information especially if she wanted to impress the master.
Lydia put her hands in hair to take out the hair tie careful finger detangled her curls. He curiously watched her thinking she was playing with her hair. Her skin glowed nicely against the candlelit. With the freckles on her face, her skin looked so smooth and soft. The way she kept biting her plump lower lip was making Gyutaro wanting to bite it too.
"You are blessed with such a skin tone and beauty. If you were from here there is no doubt you would commit ashinuke," He spoke it as if it was fact especially if Daki ever got a hold of her.
"Thank you. It is the black pigments in my skin and being afro descendant. I am blessed by the sun though," Lydia smiled with a blush laying her head on her knees. Wishing everyone thought that way he did, though she didn't comment on ashinuke because it was a term she never heard of.
"Blessed by the sun..." Gyutaro replied instantly envious of her because it was only words he seem to be focusing on. Him and his sister were cursed by the sun unable to ever have the light touch them. Unless they wanted be turned into ash.
"Must be nice," he said cynically. He began digging his nails behind his ears enough to draw blood.
Suddenly the candles went out and chill enter her bones. Lydia couldn't see a thing it was complete darkness. His hand suddenly slammed against the wall near her head causing her to jump. Her heart was pounding as if it was going to pop out of her chest. The sexual tension was going crazy for her.
"I can't take it anymore," Gyutaro groaned as if he was starving putting claw marks in the wall. He was going to devour her because it was just in his nature at this point.
"Me neither," Lydia responded breathless know he was a mere inches from her in the dark. She surprised him with a passionate kiss on his lips.
