My Hero Academia: The Second Joint Training Battle

All battles take place after the Endeavour Agency Arc and before the Paranormal Arc

Chapter 1: Class Announcement

The Second Hero Work Studies is over and 16 year old Izuku Midoriya just entered his classroom early to wait for the first lesson to begin. He looked to see half of his class already in and waiting. Mina Ashido is seen showing off her new dance moves to Kyoka Jiro and Toru Hagakure, Mezo Shoji and Tenya Iida are talking about action packed movies while Katsuki Bakugo just listened in. And Fumikage Tokoyami, Shoto Todoroki and Hanta Sero are having a discussion regarding their studies. Izuku smiled as he sat at his respective seat. He did recall his time and training with Endeavor and the trials that happened during his studies with Bakugo and Shoto like the glass manipulating villain that tried to wreck havoc in the city and the one villain that can manipulate white lines in which he used it to kidnap Shoto's older brother Natsuo. Still, he was saved in the end.

And then, he recalled the improvements he and his class achieved. The Blackwhip quirk was finally mastered as far as he recalled. Likewise, his class upped their game for he remembered that Hanta Sero, Minoru Mineta, Denki Kaminari and Class 1-B's Ibara Shiozaki interned under the Lurkers lead by Edgeshot, Kamui Woods and Mt Lady, Koji Koda along with Class 1-B's Manga Fukidashi interned under Wash, Mashirao Ojiro, Rikido Sato and Class 1-B's Jurota Shishida and Nirengenki Shoda interned under Lion Hero: Shishido, Momo Yaoyoruzo and Class 1-B's Setsuna Tokage interned under Majestic and so on.

As he continued to be in deep thought, "Deku-kun!" He looked to his right to see Ochaco Uraraka approaching him for she just arrived in time for class. Ah yes, the cute girl he talks to most of the time as she stood beside him to talk and sometimes, he has this strange feeling whenever she's around and also, he did remember that she, Tsuyu Asui and Nejire Hado from the Big 3 interned under Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu. "So...what to expect for today?" She asked shyly. "Beats me, we already demonstrated our improvements so most likely Aizawa-sensei will talk with us over something new I suppose..." Izuku replied as from the door, Yuga Aoyama entered in while sparkling and posing. And while killing time, Izuku and Ochaco chat about other stuff with a few of their friends joining in shortly.

A while later...

By now, the whole class is here and the bell rang. Their homeroom teacher Shota Aizawa just entered to see his class all seated and waiting. "Looks like I can trust that my class can be on their best behavior." He thought as he stood before his class. "Alright. With the completion of your Second Hero Work Studies, it is time to test your improvements out in the field."

"I don't get it. Didn't we do that already? All Might was even there to witness it." Denki Kaminari quipped. "Yes but this time, you will test it out to another group of students in the upcoming Second Joint Training Battle." Aizawa revealed.

"ANOTHER JOINT TRAINING BATTLE?!" Everyone exclaimed in shock as, "Are we having another battle against Class 1-B?" Ilda asked standing up with his right hand raised. "You know, you can just remain seated with your hand raised." Sato told the class president as a few snickers can be heard leaving an embarrassed Ilda to slowly sit down with his hand raised.

"I was coming to that. Class 1-A and 1-B will team up for the upcoming event." Aizawa revealed. "I LIKE THAT!" Eijiro Kirishima shouted. "I've always wanted to team up with Tetsutetsu! Hell we even created a joint special move with our quirks in sync!"

"Kero! Kero! I'm impressed!" Tsuyu exclaimed.

"I've got to see that joint special move!" said Ashido.

"Whatever..." Bakugo mumbled and, "Aizawa sensei. Who will our opponents be for the upcoming event?" Yaoyorozu asked. "Your opponents will be the students from Ketsubutsu Academy." He revealed.

"KETSUBUTSU ACADEMY?!" Everyone exclaimed in surprise when, "I remember now!" Izuku then brought it up. "I sort of eavesdrop your conversation with Ms Joke in which she suggested some joint training between her school and ours in the future and you agreed with her."

"Agreed." Aizawa replied. "Now this training will be more challenging than your previous one. You know well do you?"

"We're facing second year students." Shoto stated. "Exactly. They have more experience, more skill in their quirks and by now, they're also working hard to get stronger and this upcoming Joint Training Battle will test them as well." said Aizawa. "Not to mention, they are also gonna stay in U.A for several days."

Everyone was shocked to hear this as, "Yes you are all wondering why. Ketsubutsu Academy recently began a new paintjob renovation. In other words, the school will be closed for that. Tomorrow, the hero course will drop by but you'll only see them on Monday which is the day of the Second Joint Training Battle."

"I have a question. Where will they stay? We only have dorms for our own school courses." Ojiro asked. "Oh that's not a problem. While you all are away, the school was building a couple of new dorms should any other school drop by for events like this. By Sunday they should be completed." Aizawa assured as he looked at the time. "I wasted enough time briefing you all. Class starts now."

Later that night...

"I bet there'll be some hot girls from the academy! Can't wait to begin my findings and hopefully get their contact numbers!" Mineta spoke with some of his peers and they're all seated in the lounge. "I wouldn't count on that. Like the last JTB you purposely landed yourself on Ashido's chest." said Kaminari. "And that's why you got the chair!" said Sero as they laughed at him. "Yo, video game time?" Kaminari asked gesturing at the Sony Playstation 5 which appeared to have been added in the dorm. "I'm in!" said Ojiro. "Playing video games with my friends is manly!" Kirishima exclaimed. "Kaminari sure forked out his greens to buy the latest model. Right Tokoyami?" Dark Shadow quipped as his owner took a controller with a smile.

Across them, "I wonder who will we team up with in Class 1B?" Jirou asked. "Hopefully I don't end up with that annoying copycat who does nothing but creep us out with his flamboyant boasting and other twisted crap he has up his sleeves."

"I would imagine Fukidashi-kun being in a team with me!" said Hagakure. "Or maybe Yao-Momo being in a team with Tokage since they interned under the magic hero, Majestic! Or better, she being in a team with Kendo!" said Mina as the girls laughed. "I'm not so sure about both of the options. But that would be wonderful should it ever happen in one of them." said Yaoyorozu as Sato showed up with some cheesecake. "Yay! Dessert is ready!" Hagakure cheered as the girls took a slice each and ate with happiness.

In his bedroom, Midoriya is just sitting there thinking about the upcoming JTB. "What will it be like? I can't wait to put my new moves to use! And which team I'll be in? Man I can't stop thinking, it's so exciting that-"

"Knock! Knock!"

Startled, he opened the door and, "Deku-kun! Sato baked cheesecake! Wanna join us for a slice?" Ochaco asked sweetly. "Sure. I could really use a treat." He replied as he left the room. Thoughts aside, "I'll just wait till that day comes!"

That's a wrap for the first chapter! I've seen the 5th season and it's epic! Every student gave it their all regardless! And this is why I thought of this idea! Apparently someone else also had that idea and posted the story a year or 2 ago but for unknown reasons, it was not in the archive.

But I did read it before the unexpected deletion and that's why it fueled my mind to work on this idea! Expect new content, new OCs and plenty of fun and interactions! And feedback is appreciated. Next chapter coming soon...PLUS ULTRA!
