A man in his thirties, with small gray eyes, black hair, a cleft chin, and some stubble walked down a long hallway. He was wearing a blue shirt with two pockets, tan khakis, a watch, a small sack necklace, and shoes. The man's name was Chris McLean.

Chris Mclean was confident his show would be picked up for another season. Sure Action had low ratings, but they picked up again in world tour. Why wouldn't the producers give him another season? So with this cocky mindset he entered the office.

Chris was the kind of person who didn't bother remembering faces or appearances. So he could honestly say that he viewed most producers as figures in suits. This being the case he didn't recognize any of the three producers there. He didn't need to.

"Mister McLean. After much deliberation we have decided to renew Total Drama for a new season." One in a brown suit said.

"Great-" He began but he was cut off.

"However in light of Ezekiel's condition and Mr. Burromuerto's injuries there are a few stipulations." One in a black suit said.

"Stipulations?!" He frowned.

"For one thing this season will only be thirteen episodes long." One in a blue suit said

"but that's only half the time!" Chris complained.

"The ratings aren't high enough to warrant more than that." Brown suit said.

"But they were better than Actions!" The host pouted, folding his arms.

"Still not as high as season one's ratings. Not to mention the questionable damage done to some of the contestants." blue suit responded.

"So what? We have lawyers." He pointed out.

"Mr. McLean even if we win the lawsuits the fact that there was a lawsuit will be enough to ruin the show's reputation." black suit said, as though talking to a child.

"So our second stipulation is a second co-host." Brown suit told him.

"What? Isn't chef enough?" Chris frowned.

"Considering what happened to some of your contestants, it's clear to us that Chef has not been keeping you in check. The new co host's main job will be to make sure nothing that bad happens to the contestants again." Black suit said.

"But it wasn't that bad." Chris said.

"A teenager went feral and fell into an active volcano. That's bad Mr. McLean. Very bad." Blue suit said.

"Besides a younger co host might bring in more viewers." Brown suit said.

"Did you just call me old?! I have plenty of sex appeal left you cretins! People love me!" Chris snapped at them insulted.

"Not our target demographic. We're trying to appeal to teenagers Mr. McLean, not soccer moms." Blue suit told him.

Chris grumbled to himself. "Fine. Who is the new co host anyway?"

"You'll meet her later." Black suit said.

"Her?" Chris questioned. He was ignored.

"Our third stipulation-" Brown suit began.

"There's more?!" Chris complained.

"If a contestant becomes too injured they must leave the competition. This is to prevent any permenant damage to the contestants." Black suit said.

"You might as well give them safety scissors and a protective suit." Chris scoffed.

"Our fourth stipulation is that tampering with the votes is not condoned. Anyone who tampers with the votes will be disqualified. We don't want a repeat of the Courtney incident." Blue suit said.

"For once I agree with you." Chris nodded.

"Our final stipulation is this. We want a new cast. It's become clear the old one doesn't draw in viewers like they used to." Brown suit said.

"Now that I can work with!" Chris smiled.

"You, and both of your co hosts will run through the audition tapes." Blue suit said.

"Why does the new co host get to help choose?" Chris complained.

"We don't want you accepting super dangerous contestants. We don't need a season of Duncans." Black suit said.

"But-" Chris began.

"You're dismissed Mr. McLean." Brown suit said.

Chris knew there was no point in arguing, so he did as he was told. As soon as he left a room a smirk grew on his face. Fine. He'd play by their rules. He was Chris McLean. He could make drama out of a missing sock if he wanted to. This was just a new challenge. One that would be helped by the condition of Wawanakwa. After all they hadn't said anything about toxic waste.

A/N: My first SYOC. I'll be honest I'm bad at coming up with challenges, so I decided to use a canon season. Why this one? I wanted a thirteen episode season, and a smaller cast. Yes I know Total-Drama-Musical-Nerd is writing a SYOC based on this season, but theirs is on hiatus, and I figure my writing style is different, plus the OCs will be different.
