Asriel looked at Chara, and with tears forming in his eyes, he finally decided he was against the plan. "chara, I don't want to do this plan anymore," he whispered as chara put a hand on his head

"Don't cry, big kids don't cry," they told him as tears started forming in their eyes as well

"I know I said I'd never doubt you, but…" he choked on his words as chara fell into a coughing fit again

"Remember, we need six souls," they said as they closed their eyes.

A red soul appeared, floating just above their body, bobbing and swaying as if it were still alive… as if chara wasn't- he cut off this thought. With a deep breath, he grabbed the soul

Suddenly, his bones were cracking painfully, and his horns were growing. It filled him with Chara's determination and the power of their souls.

He lifted their body with newfound strength and started running towards the barrier.

Tears streamed down his face as he passed familiar faces.

Some tried to ask what he was doing, but he didn't answer and kept running.

Eventually, he got to the barrier and with a quick moment to breathe he went through

The sun burnt his eyes as he walked towards the original home of Chara.

When he got to the village, he laid their body on the flowerbed.

The villagers started trying to hit him with axes, sticks and whatever else they had lying around.

He tried to hurry home, but more villagers, this time holding what looked like a crossbow, blocked his way, but a bunch of others yelled out there were more coming, causing a mass confusion

In the enormous mess. He ran and eventually lost them, hiding behind a dumpster.

One stepped before him, trying to talk

"I can get you out of here without them killing you, monster," he stated, a malicious grin upon his face. "My name's Frank! What's yours?"

"Howdy! My names Asriel!"

"It's good to meet you, Asriel," he started, telling Asriel where to go from behind him.

As they neared the mountain, he pulled the knife from its holder and crept up behind Asriel

He stabbed him in the back before he even ran or screamed for help, killing him and turning him to dust almost instantaneously
