It is a new day in the Baxter home. Raven is just waking up. This week has been so crazy first it was this whole mess with Eddie. They kissed not once but twice. The thought of it made her flesh crawl. She could never cheat on Devon and especially not with Eddie he was like a brother to her. Raven felt awful about leading Eddie on but the truth was it was nothing their between them. It was just something about that punch at the party.

Raven wasted no time coming clean with Devon.

They had always been so honest with each other. When she told him he couldn't believe his ears. She tried her best to convince him it meant nothing. But the damage was done. When he left he was so upset that she thought he was definitely breaking up with her. Especially after not talking for a whole two days. But she wasn't giving up she knew they could fix this.

This morning Raven and Devon text messages

Raven: Devon please talk to me...

Devon: (Read)

Raven: Please this not talking is so hard for me!

Devon: (Read)

Raven: So I guess it's really over then

Devon: I didn't say we was over

Raven: Well help a sister out because you haven't said much of anything lately.

Devon: I don't know what to say Rae. You really hurt me. You always said it was nothing between you and Eddie. But it's clearly something.

Raven: Devon I don't have any feelings for Eddie. Your the only guy I wanna be with. Like I told you I think someone put something in that punch.

Devon: Whatever Rae

Raven: WHATEVER! Devon I love you

Devon: I love you too Rae

Raven: Okay then let's just put this mess behind us already. I really don't want to break up over this!

Devon: ...(typing)... (Cancel txt)

Later that day

Chelsea: Well Rae maybe you should give him time.

Raven: Chelsea we don't have time we are about to graduate. We should be planning our future together.

Chelsea: Have you talked to Eddie?

Raven: No but he's been blowing me up. It's something different about him Chels. Look at these texts he sent me

Eddie text message to Raven

8:30am Eddie: Good morning beautiful

9:45am Eddie: I called you

10:15am Eddie: Feels like I'm being avoided

12:30pm Eddie: Rae what's your problem?

8:30pm Eddie: Raven don't be foolish and mess out on the best thing that will ever happen to you.

Chelsea: The best thing that ever happened to you. Seriously?

Raven: I know right, I mean don't get me wrong Chelsea Eddie is a nice guy. But I don't wanna date him that will be like dating my brother. I love Devon I know my future is with him.

Chelsea: Well Rae you could try and invited both them over and explained to both of them how you feel and set boundaries with Eddie if he wants to keep your friendship.

Raven: You know what Chelsea that's not a bad idea. Plus dad's going to visiting mom in London and I can get Cory to spend the night at Williams.

Chelsea: That sounds perfect and after we can have a sleepover.

Raven: Well Chelsea I wanna have a sleepover but with Devon.

Chelsea: Rae you can't have a sleepover with ... Wait Rae are you thinking about...

Raven: Yes Chelsea I think it's time I have been thinking about it anyway. Devon's has been so patient with me.

Chelsea: Awww Rae if you're really ready. I wish you all the good luck in the world.

Raven: (laughing) Thanks Chelsea tonight is the night.

Later on that day Raven gives Devon a call and he answered.

Devon: What is it Raven?

Raven: Well at least you answered.

Devon: And I'm about to hang up

Raven: Devon wait!!!!! Look I'm so sorry for betraying your trust. I love you Devon so much I know my future is with you. And if you really love me the way you say you do then you would wanna fix this too.

Devon: (He was silent for a moment then he finally spoke) I do love you Rae and I do wanna fix this.

Raven: (smiling) Okay well I have the house to myself tonight maybe you can come spend the night.

Devon: Spend the night? You mean like sleep in the same bed?

Raven: Is that a problem for you?

Devon: No I mean I don't know Rae your dad would kill me.

Raven: My dad's going to be all the way in London.

Devon: Okay then Rae only if your sure I will be there by 7

Raven: Okay see you then

Devon: Alright bye

Called Ended

Now the only thing left to do was to call Eddie.

Eddie: Hello

Raven: Hay Eddie

Eddie: Hay sweet thing I missed you.

Raven: Eddie look I'm really sorry but I think all this was just a big miss understanding.

Eddie: Well I don't! A matter of fact I'm coming over.

Before Raven could say anything else the call ended. It was obvious that Eddie's feelings we're not going to be that easy to get rid of.
