"I'm here on the coast of Panama, where we just recovered what we believe to be the coffin of legendary explorer Sir Francis Drake who was buried at sea over four hundred years ago," Elena said as she was recording the opening of the coffin which was currently being opened by two men who both had crowbars. One was the legend Nathan Drake and the other was a Japanese-American man, who was in his late 20s, he had spiky blond hair and whiskers on his cheeks, he himself was also wearing a scuba diving suit.
"Are you both sure you wanna be defiling your ancestor's remains like this?" Elena asked as both men were trying to open the coffin as the unknown man answered "As much as it looks nasty it's not that bad."
The man said as Nate chuckled "You know you both make it sound so dirty…" Nate said slightly chuckling as he went to the other side of the coffin to poop the other side open "Besides, you didn't believe me."
"Well, I did do my research and apparently Francis Drake didn't have any children." Elena said "Well history can be wrong you know." Nathan replied as he and the man put the crowbars down. "For example- you can't defile an empty coffin." As both men used their strength to open the coffinm they receiving the sight they expected.
"What the hell-?" Elena said in surprise at the view as Nate and the man began looking for something which the man found "Nathan jackpot." The man said as he lifted a lock box out of the coffin and opened it.
"Look what we got here." The man said as Nathan took out the book and scrolled through the pages as he laughed "You devil." Nathan said as he changed to the next page "This guy was really smart." the man said as also looked at the pages, noting some of the drawings he was able to get glances off.
"What is it? C'mon, hold it up." Elena said as she was documenting the situation but Nathan quickly put his hand on the camera. "No, no, no-no way the deal was for the coffin that's it." Nathan said as Elena spoke up.
"Wait a minute, if my show hadn't funded this expedition, you wouldn't have." As Nathan stopped the lady as he spoke
"Hey, hey hey you got your story lady." but Elena wasn't going to make him get away that easily. "Look Mr Drake you've signed a contract." as the unknown man who was listening to the conversation spoke up. "Yeah Nathan you signed a contract." the unknown man said as Nathan looked at his friend.
"Come on Naruto you're not helping." the identified man named Naruto just sighed as something caught the corner of his eye as he wasn't the only one to notice the incoming boats. "Ah crap, hey Nathan, they found us you better call Sully to hurry up." Naruto told Nathan who just nodded when he also noticed the incoming boats, rushing to the radio, Nathan picked it up.
"Sully? Uh, we got some trouble. Naruto says you should hurry up." Nathan said as he finished the transmission and put the radio down "Okay, okay what's going on?" Elena asked as both men answered in unison. "Pirates." they both said. "Pirates?!" she replied in shock as Naruto took the white briefcase, he put earlier on one of the crates.
"Yeah, the modern kind. They don't take prisoners." Nathan said as he opened the briefcase and gave Naruto a 9mm "…least not male prisoners." Nathan said as he also took out a 9mm "Wait what are you talking about?" Elena asked as Naruto just sighed as he pointed to the direction trouble was coming and when Elena looked she saw four boats approaching.
"Uh, sh-shouldn't we call the authorities or something?" Naruto just laughed at the suggestion "That'd be a great idea, but we don't exactly have a permit to be here." Nathan said "What?" Elena replied as Nathan approached the report as he put the mag into the gun as he loaded the chamber.
"What it means Ms. Fisher is that we are on our own and the police will lock us up if were found." Naruto explained as Nathan spoke up "Yeah, so unless you wanna end up in a Panamanian jail we should probably handle this ourselves."
"Unless you want to end up being someone's prison bitch?" Naruto stated as Elena shook her head "Wh-What's worse?" Naruto just chuckled at her reply "You obviously haven't been in a Panamanian jail. So do you know how to use these?" Nathan asked as he handed Elena a 9mm.
"Yeah, it's like a camera… You just, point and shoot, right?"
"Good girl. Here we go." Nathan said as the trio was now strapped and were ready to defend the ship "How the hell did they find us out here?" Elena asked as Nathan answered, "These guys have been tailing us for weeks, I thought we lost them."
"What did you two do to piss them off?"
"That's kind of a long story." Nathan replied, "That involves me and Nathan having a tricycle with a woman we should have never entertained." Naruto added much to Elena's surprise. "Wait? You had a wha-!" she was cut off when shots were fired by the pirates which had the trio have to take cover behind the crates, Naruto popped out of cover as he shoot at one of the pirates taking him out as Elena was shooting but wasn't hitting her shoots as Nathan was doing the work.
"These guys don't like you both that much, do they?"
"Less talking, more shooting!" Nathan replied with a shout.
"Ah crap! Nathan, they are climbing aboard!" Naruto shouted out as he was punched by one of the pirates, who was about to shoot him but luckily he was shoot down by Nathan, "Thank you." Naruto said as he picked up the 9mm and shoot a pirate that was shooting at Nathan.
Another wave of pirates then showed up as they hopped on the boat but both Naruto and Nathan were ready for them as they both shoot down those who had planted their feet on the boat.
"Oh my God! Drake's- that one's got some kind of rocket launcher!" Elena pointed out as both men just looked at each other "Okay that's not good."
"You think." Naruto replied sarcastically as he shoot at the pirate with the launcher but his boat was continuously moving so it was rather hard as then the crane on the boat was shot down "What the hell was that?" Elena asked.
"Whooo! All right, Sully!" Nathan shouted as the boat was know on flames "Oh- I don't think I'm getting my security deposit back." Elena gloomed as Naruto spoke up "Don't worry cavalry's here."
"Oh, thank God." Just then the ship began to shake "Why does this always get worse!" Naruto shouted out "The whole ship's gonna blow! We gotta jump!"
"You don't have to tell me twice!" Naruto shouted as he jumped off the boat and into the sea.
"Oh wait!" Elena said as she ran for her camera "What are you doing?!" Nathan said as Elena came back with her camera "Okay…okay, go!" as they both jumped into the sea the same time the boat exploded.
"Well I guess the good part is that were all safe." Naruto said to Nathan and Elena as the sea plane's door opened, by a Caucasian man that had slightly grey hair and a cigar in his mouth. "I can't leave you two for a minute, can I?" Sully said
"We had everything under control until they blew up the boat." Nathan said as Naruto just sighed heavily "You alright?" Nathan asked Elena who was holding her camera out of the water "Nothing that years of therapy won't fix." Elena said handing Sully the camera and climbing into the boat.
"What a view." Naruto said with a goofy grin to Nate who just laughed with a grin of his own. "Since when are you into blondes?" Naruto shrugged his shoulders "I'm a blond so I guess it's natural." he said with a grin as Nate laughed at his friend's antics.
"Well, if it isn't the beautiful and talented Elena Fisher." Sully said helping Elena get into the plane "Flattery will get you screen time." Elena said "Yeah, I'm more of a behind-the-scenes kind of guy, Victor Sullivan." Sully said as he and Elena walked to the front of the plane leaving both Naruto and Nate outside.
"Oh, for chrissakes…" both men said in unison as they climbed in, with Nathan closing the door, "Whaddya say we get out of here before we attract any more attention?"
Sully nodded and started up the plane, while in the air Nathan took out the book as he was sitting beside Sully as Damian and Elena were in the back. "Well?" Sully asked "A little present from Sir Francis."
Nathan said showing Sully the book which made him laugh "So you found the coffin?" Sully said as he looked at the page Nate showed him. "Wait a minute- is this what I think it is?"
"Yep Drake's lost diary." Nathan chimed in as he got up and hung at the exit of the pilot seat. "Mhmm, he faked his death, just like I said, Sully. He must've been onto something big."
"Yeah, well let's just keep that between the three of us." Sully said as Naruto felt a tap on his shoulder turning around he saw Elena who asked if she could pass, agreeing Naruto went to sit down as Elena gave Nate the pistol. "Thanks for the loan, Mr. Drake." taking the gun from Elena she spoke.
"I think I've earned a look at that diary, when we land." she said looking away as Sully looked at Nate who shrugged "I'll give you a look at something else if you know what I'm saying," Naruto said with a grin as Nate and Sully laughed getting the joke while Elena who took a second to get the joke just rolled her eyes. "Men," she muttered.
A couple of hours they were on a tropical island, Elena was outside speaking on the phone while the trio was inside a boat as they were listening to Nate "So look when Drake sailed into the Pacific he took the Spanish fleet completely by surprise. He captured their ships, he took all their maps, their letters, their journals-" Nate said as Naruto chimed in.
"Their women as well since we are the final product." Nathan ignored Naruto as he just continued "And he recorded everything in this diary."
"Okay Nate so this-" Sully was cut of as Nathan continued on his lecture. "But when he got back to England, Queen Elizabeth confiscated all of his charts and logbooks including this one, and then swore his entire crew to silence."
"Yeah, so this-" Sully was cut off again. "Y'see, Drake discovered something on that voyage, Sully, something so secret and so valuable they couldn't risk it getting out." Sully took out his cigar from his mouth.
"All right Nate just pretend for a minute that I don't really care about any of that stuff and cut to the chase would ya?"
"You two are only interested in the climax ,huh. You both must be a real hit with the ladies." Nate paged through the journal. "Never had any complaints." Sully said dryly. "What did I say?" Naruto asked since he was just listening in.
"Okay then, I'll jump to the good part, just for you." he put the journal down as they saw a page with a map drawn on it and a circled spot that had the title El Dorado on it. "Well suck me sideways." Naruto said as Sully chuckled "Suck me sideways indeed, El goddamn Dorado."
"He was onto something big, all right." Nathan spoke.
"Does it say anything else?" Sully asked as Nathan took the journal from him.
"Unfortunately the last page was torn out." he showed Sully the last page which was torn out.
"He didn't want anyone to find out about his find." Naruto said getting a nod from Nathan "I'm telling you guys, this is it, this is finally it."
"Yeah, only we got one little problem." Sully said as they looked outside to see Elena, the trio began to talk about her being a problem.
"Sully, the girl can hold her own even Naruto saw it." Nate said
"Yeah she can shoot, plus we need some new blood into our little sausage party," Naruto added.
"Fine then you both go out there and tell her, 'We just found the lost City of Gold.' who knows maybe her producer can get it on air tonight."
"Oh, come on..."
"Boys do you trust me?" Sully said "More or less." the two said in unison "Good 'cause we're gonna have every two-bit scumbag in the world racing us to this treasure unless we cut her loose right now."
"You're a real gentleman, Sully."
"I don't know about you Nathan but I don't want to meet up with Rafe anytime soon, if that guy was crazy enough to do that to Vargas back in Panama all alone think about what he'll do to us?" Naruto reminded Nathan of the fall out they had with the rich boy. "Don't remind me." Nathan said since some rather bad words were exchanged between the two parties the last time they met. "She'll get over it." Sully said walking to the steering wheel. Elena looked in on them as Sully waved at her as she waved back.
"Did you have to wave goodbye." Naruto said looking at Elena as the boat sped away. "Felt like adding some salt to the wound." Sully said steering the boat.
