Sorry for the long wait in updating i am struggling to write these days am slowly working on this story. I think my keyboard is broken as it sometimes doesn't bring out the letter (L) and it brings out 3 of the letter (B) s.

Chapter 7

After a restless sleep, Bella and Charlie were both up bright and early eating breakfast, when there was a knock on the door. "Who can that be this early?" Charlie asked. and Bella shrugged her shoulders unsure herself, as she bit into her toast.

Hearing her father speaking to someone, so she stood up and was about to see who it was when Charlie came through with Angel and Darla. "Hey" they both said "did you have a nice rest" Angel asked smiling.

"Yes thanks, would you like tea or coffee" she asked.

"They have been invited in" said Charlie worriedly, picking up his gun "just incase, well sit down"

"Gun's are useless except if the bullets are made of wood" said Angel, "Don't worry we wont hurt either of you unless you try something, Connor has shot me often enough, he has even set off fire works in the bedroom"

"Oh really, is he really your son" Charlie asked.

"Yes but we don't want anyone finding out, you have to be careful what you think around the Cullens as our thoughts are not safe, if word gets out two Vampires have had a son there will be trouble among our kind, he's special"

"Can the Cullen's read minds?" Charlie asked rather worriedly.

Angel nodded, "but we don't know whose haven't figured out who can do it" lied Angel he knew very well that Edward could read minds and he didn't want them to know about Connor so he said "Please be careful with your thoughts"

"Okay, where's Stefan?" Charlie asked.

"Gone hunting in the woods, we only feed on animals or blood bags from hospitals, but there are others like us who feed on humans and kill them" Angel replied.

"If Stefan drinks human blood he goes off the rales, we don't want that, just as well you haven't met Klaus or the Originals which is another long story"

"Who are they?" Bella asked with a concerned look.

"Like i said you don't want to meet them as they feed on humans" Angel replied, when Bella suddenly disappeared in front of Charlie who gasped in shock and stood up wobbly on his legs slightly.

"Bella" Angel called looking about, seeing Charlie turning white as a ghost.

"In kitchen" came her voice, reappearing a few seconds later.

"What the hell, get away from me?" he said finding his voice "What are you?"

"I have these gifts" said Bella worriedly about to step closer to him.

"Stay back, you can stay away from me" he said rather shocked.

"He needs time to process this" said Angel standing up, trying to calm him down. "You can stay with us tonight at the hotel, don't worry he just needs time to accept that vampires and witches exist, you may be staying with us for a while"

"Get out I don't want to see you right now" said Charlie clearly in shock.

"Dad please let me explain" she said worriedly in case he was going to faint since he looked very pale with a slight grey colour.

"No i said leave" as she hurried upstairs to pack a bag of stuff with Darla following her to help.

"He's going into shock" said Angel helping him to sit down incase he passed out. "Its too much for him to handle all at once" going into the kitchen for a glass of water for him.

"As Bella and Darla came down stairs Angel said you take her back to the hotel while i'll stay with Charlie" bringing out the car keys and giving them her.

"Okay" said Darla "I hope you get better soon" as Bella got her jacket glancing back at Angel helping her dad with a worried look on her face, as they both left.

As they left Angel called the doctor just incas as he was turning a pale grey colour, it took half an hour or so for the nice doctor to arrive as he had been at another patients house and Angel explained that Charlie had some upsetting news and needed something for shock, so the doctor sedated Charlie in bed to help. He texted Darla saying not to tell BBBella he had been sedated and he needed Dawn and Andrews assistance which would help him if there was another human in the house to help.'The visions came in handy' he thought sitting in the living room watching tv as Charlie slept upstairs.

The next morning Charlie awoke feeling a lot better, coming down the stairs he found Dawn and Andrew sitting watching tv in the living room, "hello human or vampire?" he asked.

"Both human, how ever there have been close cals over the years" said Dawn smiling. "Angel sent us to watch over you while he went hunting in the woods, can we get you anything, cup of tea or breakfast"

"I can get it myself" he said with half a smile, going into the kitchen.

"You look a lot better" said Andrew drinking a cup of tea. "We were worried about your grey colour"

"Bella stayed at the hotel with Darla last night" said Dawn loud enough for Charlie to hear.

"I don't want to see her right now" he called back.

"How long have you both known about vampires and witches?" he asked, a short while later coming back with a bit of toast and tea.

"Since i was old enough to understand, very young, you see my sister Buffy is the slayer so i grew up with the knowledge that monsters existed" Dawn replied, not going into the full story about her 'being the key and Glory trying to kill her'

"The slayer" he asked confused.

"They kill vampires and monsters and have the strength to do it as we lived on top of a hell mouth that destroyed our lives on a daily basis" she said. "It took me a few months to get over the fact that they existed when i was old enough to understand, it was the same when mum found out as she didn't know and it took time for her to under stand as well but she sadly died several years ago it was hard"

"Oh, sorry for your loss what about you dad" he gasped.

"He doesn't care he's somewhere with a new younger woman as far as i know I don't keep track, Angel and Darla look after me and him now, they make up for it, at least Bella still has you and her mum"

"Oh" he repeated, as that was all he could say still in slight shock over her story.

"Like i said it will take time for you to get used to the fact that Bella has these gifts and the fact that vampire's and witches exist" said Dawn 'not mentioning the ware wolves as that would be too much for him to handle' she thought.

"How did she get these gifts in the first place?" he asked, "witches don't run in the family as far as i know"

"She said there was this book and she touched it and she has all these weird powers that's about all I know, Angel will know a lot more" said Dawn as there was a knock at the front door.

"Who can that be?" said Charlie, with a worried look going over to answer, it to find Connor and Darla standing there.

"Hello, come in" he said.

"You look a lot better" Darla said smiling wandering into the house, "Angel, Stefan and Spike are still hunting deep in the woods"

"I feel a bit better speaking to Dawn and Andrew, however i still need time to get used to the idea that my daughter is a witch" he replied with half a smile.

"Angel did say you need time, Bella can stay with us, theres plenty of room at the house once it's ready don't know how long that will take" she said sitting down next to Dawn.

"Can i get you anything?" he asked bringing a chair from the kitchen for Connor.

"Thank you" he said smiling and sitting down.

"How long does it take to hunt?" he asked.

"It can take all night or all day, it's different each time we go they have been there since two something in the morning" she replied smiling.

"Don't you sleep?" he asked.

"No, never, we don't get tired, but Connor does" she said.

As Charlie was getting to know Darla and the other's better, Bella was just wakening up after a restless sleep at the hotel, she had been worried about her dad the hole night and spent the night tossing and turning. Darla and Connor had gone to check on him so she kept checking her phone so when she heard it go off the text said Charlie was a lot better after being sedated by the doctor but he needed more time, but not sure how long he needed and she would bring some more of her stuff. Plus she could spend time at the hotel with them for the time being.

Getting up, she had a shower and got ready for the day early and put on the tv for the news to see what was happening and going out for some breakfast and checked to see if Angel, Spike and Stefan had returned but they had not yet and she was alone when she felt that funny cold and angry feeling wash over her and the next moment she blinked back into her living room startling everyone. "oh" gasped Charlie.

"Sorry I couldn't help it i wanted to see if you were alright after being sedated by the doctor" she asked worriedly.

"I feel fine you have to stop doing that how was the hotel?" he asked rather annoyed.

"Fine not as good as my own room, nothing has changed much i am still me except i have these powers, I would ever hurt you or anyone i care about" she replied.

"I that case i guess you can come back home" he said standing up ad giving her a hug. When the doorbell rang.

"It's Angel, Stefan and Edward don't know why Edward is here" said Darla pleased that Charlie was getting back to normal.

"Full house" said Charlie going to the door, "hey guys he said. "Come on in"

"Am glad you are letting Bella stay here again" said Angel. "I knew talking to Dawn and Andrew would help" smiling.

"It was just the shock i was just learning about Vampires ad witches ad to find out about Bella, it was overwhelming, can i get anyone tea or coffee" he replied.

"some tea please" said Connor wary of Edward. "I haven't had one this morning"

"Hey Edward" he said "What can i do for you?"

"I came to see Bella" he said seeing his pale colour, reading his mind with a worried frown. "Are you better now you look rather pale?" he asked without thinking.

"It was just the shock about yesterday i had to be sedated by the doctor, i feel better now thanks" he replied, careful not mentioning Bella who was trying her hardest not to let her powers show in front of everyone and smiled at him.

"That's good" he said having only eyes for Bella.

"Would you guys like to come to our house today a bit more work has been done it's starting to look like a house?" Angel asked as he thought 'this house was too small for him'

"Do you mind if i give it a miss today" said Charlie "i still feel a bit out of sorts, Bella can go if you like"

"No i would like to stay here" she said. "Maybe we could come together another day"

"That's okay a bit too soon you need all the rest you can get" Angel replied, before he could stop himself and Charlie looked confused when he said it, but 'guessed it had something to do with seeing the future' he thought worriedly.

After Angel ad the others left after Connor had his tea ad they got to know one another better, Charlie felt he was getting to know Angel ad Darla a bit more, he sat in the living room after they all left ad Bella ad Edward went up to her room. "Keep your door open" said Charlie as they headed upstairs.

"This is my room" she said nervously when Edward said

"i know about your powers, i read Angel's mind"

Bella gasped in shock and pulled him into her room keeping her door slightly open. "You can read mids?" finding her voice.

Reluctantly he nodded i response saying "i can read everyone's mind apart from your's...Angel has a dark violent past and so does Stefan who is married to a woman named Caroline, i guess he forgot to take off his wedding ring i am surprised no one has noticed"

"Is there something wrong with me?" she asked sitting on the side of her bed staring at him.

"I say i can read minds and you think there is something wrong with you, i guess it could be something to do with your new powers?" he said, slightly amused, sitting next to her. "Alice can see the future, but Angel can as well but his is more accurate" was the word he came up with as 'his family back home were trying to figure out how two of them can see the future' he thought 'not telling her in case she told him, 'he was slightly worried about Charlie getting close to Angel and Darla ad he wondered about the other big blue ring he wore and saw Angel and Darla had one each as well, but kept these thoughts to himself as he didn't want to cause her more worry' "Charlie is resting o the couch he is still tired and needs his rest, i think telling him about me is too much for him to handle so best keep it a secret from him"

"So you are a vampire, how old are you?" she asked.

"Seventeen" he said.

"How long have you been seventeen?" she asked.

"A while, we are like the others different we only eat animals or blood bags from the hospital a lot like Stefan, me and him have a bit i common but don't get along, if we drink human blood we turn into a ripper killing whomever we want without a second thought, however your powers are making you able to possibly hurt me and our kind" he said as she showed him she had telekinesis as she moved the glass of water from her bedside cabinet into her hand, "Oh" was all he said watching her.
