A/N: Once again, thank you for the reviews. I really do appreciate them. Especially the ones that offer your personal thoughts on the motivations of characters and things you think they should do. Additionally, several of you have asked for first person perspective rather than journal entries, so at the end it is in first-person. Let me know what you think. I will be slower updating due to the demands of my job, however I am still writing.
Chapter 4: History Repeats Itself, Always
Year 5: Day 168 - 294 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
The journey to Winterfell from Harrenhal is going terrible. Astoria is pregnant with another child, our two-year-old Lily does not want to stay in the carriage with her mum, and James keeps demanding that he be allowed to sit on the horses. This is why I do not take them anywhere.
But truly, I am enjoying being with my family. I have spent too much time away from them recently and I need to be a part of their lives. I am sad that they will grow up in a much different place than what I imagined, but I am happy that they will go to a pseudo-Hogwarts at Harrenhal with the Longbottom children as well as little Arya. I have a feeling that Arya will be hard to control just from her personality, but I am sure that when she is allowed the freedom we offer, she will learn that you can be useful and go on adventures like Knights without most of the danger as a witch. Susan, for example, helps out a ton with scheming and our plans, yet she also is able to be home with her kids.
We have yet to encounter anything dangerous on the Kingsroad. We are unlucky that the rains have turned the road into mud though. This would not be a problem in the Riverlands on the Riverroad and Goldroad where they run through our territory. I discovered the best use for the wasted stone from Harrenhal would be to use the stone to create cobblestone roads in my Kingdom. It has made the speed of my soldiers increase, and the trade also flows faster. I also have undertaken several construction projects to build additional roads running north-south to cut down on time as well. They are progressing well.
I was sent a raven not too long ago from Lord Petyr Baelish, the Master of Coin, requesting a meeting to discuss the possibility of a loan from the Riverlands to the Crown. I declined stating that the infrastructure projects I am undertaking are very capital intensive, which is true, but in reality, I am unwilling to waste my gold on a realm that will squander it on useless items. While the Crown will eventually be mine, I cannot allow my gold to be used in such an irresponsible way. Also, in that letter was a veiled threat of additional tax if I failed to offer the loan. I'll speak to the King if that happens and change his mind.
Year 5: Day 181 - 294 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
We arrived in Winterfell early yesterday morning and were greeted by the assembled Stark family. Lord Stark is a harsh looking man, definitely looking of the North. Lady Stark had not changed since she made the journey for her brother's funeral. They have an older son, Robb, who looks to be thirteen or fourteen. A bastard that Lady Stark did her best to hide from my family who also looks to be a similar age to Robb, Jon I think Lord Stark said his name was. There is some secret about Jon that Lord Stark doesn't want to share, but that's his business. It's his bastard. Their oldest daughter, Sansa, and their second daughter Arya looked the same as well. They have a younger boy, Bran as well as a baby named Rickon. A nice family, in all honesty.
It seems that Robb and Jon get along very well and are often seen sparing against one another in the courtyard of the castle. Lady Stark undeniably does not like the presence of Jon in the castle, likely due to the constant reminder of her husband's infidelity. A terrible thing, but in the end, a human trait. I find that non-magical people are prone to the faults of the flesh. Something that can certainly be useful in most situations if you wish to blackmail them.
We had a welcoming feast last night where we got to know the family better than just letters and I found Lord Stark to be a logical yet honorable man. An optimist. Which is regrettable. His son Robb is the same. That does not mean they are not useful, but they are too trusting. Effortlessly believing that most people are looking out for the best of the Realm or the North. Easily betrayed… Good Lords of the North, terrible for any plans.
Jon Snow, however, is not that way. His harsh upbringing by Lady Stark has jaded him to the kindness of those around him. He sees enemies in everyone around him. That is something I can work with. I spoke with Lord Stark for a moment about him this morning after the feast about having Jon also come to Harrenhal, explaining that work is work in Harrenhal and he will not be treated poorly based on his birth. His eyes seemed worried for a flash, before his stone eyes returned and said that Jon intends to join the Night's Watch. There is something he isn't telling me… I will find out, one way or another. I wish I was gifted in the mind arts like Astoria.
Lord Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and the North
Lord Peverell is an observant man, too observant. Much more of a thinker than I expected. Much darker. I was correct when I said there is something sinister about him. He is trying to figure you out when he looks at you. Reminds me of Lord Bolton in some ways.
He is too curious about Jon. I can see the way Peverell looks at him, like a predator. I will not send him to Harrenhal, the risk is too great. He must go to the Wall for the good of the Realm. However, Catelyn remains convinced that both Arya and Jon should go to Harrenhal, Jon when the Peverells leave and Arya when she turns 8.
Year 5: Day 184 - 294 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
As we spend more time in Winterfell, I find myself more sure that Arya is the right fit for Harrenhal. She is smart, a quick problem solver, and is very independent, just what I need in a wife for James. James is a smart boy, but he has too much of his mother in him. I can feel magic also in the fourth child, Bran, but it isn't as strong as Arya. He is probably a warg like some others in the Stark family have been in the past, but he isn't worth my time. He will never be able to cast a spell, most similar to a squib.
Lord Stark told me today that Jon will not be joining us in Harrenhal and that the young man has decided to join the Night's Watch. I find that hard to believe. A young child choosing to go to a cold, inhospitable place in the far north rather than going south with people that care about his well-being. I'll speak with Jon later and maybe have Astoria speak with Lord Stark later, see if she can weasel out what he is hiding.
In other news, I received a Patronus message from Neville today. Normally, we try to stick to ravens as a way to hide our magic and only use Patronus messages only for top secret information. It appears he had the good idea to just translate the covers of each of the Valyrian book. An idea that I did not think of. He stated that he has found several books of quality that go into dark detail about the blood magic of Valyria, the process of creating Valyrian Steel, and how hatch and tame a dragon. Good. Harrenhal will rise from the ashes of dragons and become a dragon itself. What a cheesy line. Geez, Harry. Get a grip.
Year 5: Day 190 - 294 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
Today is our last day in Winterfell. I have truly enjoyed my time in this frozen wasteland. The Starks were kind hosts, and I appreciated their hospitality. It also helped that I put Lady Stark farther under the imperious, removing her hatred for our House. Weak-minded bitch.
In the end, Lord Stark was an honorable man. Astoria spoke to him and found out Jon's secret. Jon was born Aegon Targaryen, the trueborn son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Lord Stark hid him from his best friend and tried to raise him as his own. A hard task considering he hid the parentage behind himself and some whore. In the end, I used a confundus charm and a compulsion spell to allow Jon the choice to come with us or go to the Wall. He chose correctly and will ride home with us.
He will certainly be useful in my plans, but I have yet to figure out how. I will name him to Dragonstone as Prince of Dragonstone when the time comes and that could gain me the loyalty of the Dragonstone Lords, but that's about it. I will have the Throne, not some child.
Year 5: Day 322 - 295 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
It happened. The dragon egg hatched. It's a small thing now, no bigger than a modest kitten. Its color remains the same as its shell, black with red veins. The first dragon in Westeros in a hundred years and I am its master.
Neville and I have spent the last three months researching and preparing for this. The Valyrians were specific in their instructions and meticulous in every step. There are two parts to hatching a dragon according to the Valyrian dragonlords. First, the hatching and then the bonding.
The hatching ritual is filled with dark magic and requires a sacrifice. The better the sacrifice, the more powerful the dragon. I suspect the Targaryens knew this secret, at least at the beginning of their reign. The book itself contains a curse on the knowledge, if one reads the book and gains the knowledge, they can never verbally or use writing to transmit the knowledge to one who has not read this book. Also, the knowledge could never be written down by anyone from the lineage of someone who read the book. Interesting magic indeed. We, of course, removed the curse however I would stake my life on the theory that the Targaryen's were able to hatch more dragons by watching the older generations do it until someone forgot a critical step and they no longer could produce quality dragons.
I have charmed this journal to never reveal this secret to anyone outside my direct bloodline should I fall, so I will explain the process without the pomp and circumstance that is found in the Valyrian book. It's in the library if you, whoever is reading this, wishes to see it.
1. Clear an area outside the castle, far away from the bustle of the town. Neville and I used the God's Eye Island for the location of the ritual, but any secluded spot will work.
2. Prepare the ritual area. You will need to dig a trench, an inch deep, in a seven-pointed star shape with all points of the star connecting to a basin in the center. This is where you will place the dragon egg. You do not need to clear the ground of grass or anything, just make sure that the trench is dug, and the basin will hold liquid.
3. Sacrifice - The Valyrians suggest an old or frail dragon. There is no greater honor for an old dragon who is nearing death to bring a new dragon into the world. They say that this will imbue the new dragon with immeasurable power. Obviously, if you have no dragon to sacrifice, then another is needed. Next on the list is humans. Using humans is near the same level of power as using a dragon since they are also a sentient being. You will need many more for the ritual if you use humans. Other living beings can be used also but will not produce as quality of dragons.
4. Ritual: There are multiple steps that into in the ritual that I will describe. It is surprisingly a simple ritual but requires some gruesome deeds.
a. Kill the sacrifice(s) in a way that will allow the blood to easily flow from the body into the trench you prepared. make sure the blood does flow into the trench as well as into the basin.
b. Once the trenches are filled with the blood of the sacrifice(s), place the egg into the middle basin. Do not place multiple eggs in the basin unless you are using a dragon as the sacrifice.
c. Cast Fiendfrye at the blood. Normally, there is some Valyrian chant that would light the blood on fire, but we found a small, quick burst of Fiendfrye does the trick.
d. Now, with the blood on fire, the dragon egg will begin sucking in the blood and fire which explains the Targaryen motto of Fire and Blood. The ritual is now complete.
5. Now, you must take the egg out of the now dry basin and create a fire. Magical fire works just as good as a fire with logs. Leave the dragon in the fire for seven days.
6. After seven days, remove the egg. While the egg is still hot, take a knife and cut your hand drawing blood. Take your now bleeding hand and place it on the hot dragon egg, which will cauterize your hand while also creating a familiar bond with your dragon. You should feel the connection immediately as your head will flood with the feelings of a dragon.
7. A couple days later, the egg will hatch with a brand-new dragon. The Valyrians didn't give a timeline on this step, but they did say that if you don't get the familiar bond or the egg doesn't hatch in a maximum of five days, you did something wrong and should restart.
To be honest, it was a fairly simple procedure. The Valyrian book is rife with warnings about trying to hatch dragons in other ways and how they will produce dragons that, while appearing to obey you, will actually be unbound and very dangerous. Especially while trying to hatch multiple eggs at a time.
Dragons can also hatch other dragons themselves in the wild, which is a vastly different procedure. The above ritual is if you want the dragon to be bound to you as a familiar.
Thus, Hedwig the Dragon was born and Harrenhal, the castle destroyed by Dragons, now is home to a dragon.
Year 6: Day 35 - 295 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
I have been in Westeros for about six years. I have a page in this notebook where I put a new tick mark every day, even if I don't write in it. I am happy that Astoria and I have been able to create the life we were denied in England, even though it is in a medieval world. Luckily, I was able to build the castle with hot water and the other comforts Astoria was accustomed to. A happy family.
Jon is settling in well. I can sense the remnants of magic from the Targaryens in him, but he remains just a squib with an ability to not be burned. Useful trait, I guess. He could also communicate with Dragons like the Targaryens seemed to be able to do, but he does not know about Hedwig. I have been instructing him about how to manage a kingdom, and though he seems confused as to why he is receiving this instruction, he is learning. I think he should be an adequate Lord of Dragonstone. I thought about naming him Prince of Dragonstone, but that would be confusing. I will name my son Prince of the Riverlands and that will be the title the heir apparent holds.
I did not think through hatching Hedwig as much as I should have. I got too caught up in if I could, I didn't think about if I should. Hiding a Dragon in the Riverlands will be a difficult task to say the least. Hedwig is the size of a small cat, yet eventually, she will get much bigger and will need to have large amounts of food and the space to fly. That is definitely not something I can easily hide. I am considering having a space prepared on our tallest tower for her to stay. While not like the dragon pit which confined the Targaryen dragons, it would allow her to leave whenever. In order to grow, she needs the space to fly and whatnot, so I think that will be the best bet.
Harrenhal continues to grow to my chagrin at this point. The city is running out of space on the inside and will likely have to spread outside the walls if this continues. I may have to speak with Neville about sending people to Riverrun instead. Maybe I will undertake some projects there to increase its value as a holding. Neville is doing a good job as its Lord, but he still complains about going there as Susan remains here with their two children.
On that note, my son James and Luna Longbottom have started their magical tutoring. Us wizards spent a long time how to figure out how to teach our children how to handle magic without wands due to the materials not being present in this world to fashion said wands. In the end, we found a book from our library that explained wandless magic in a small compacity. We have decided to start the kids earlier than at home so they can get used to using their hands rather than a wand. I believe that magic should function the same way with their hands as a wand would do with time. It is sad that they do not get to experience holding their wand for the first time though.
I dueled with Neville in the Harrenhal catacombs a few days ago. It appears I am getting rusty. I haven't had a good magical duel in so long. There is no one besides us that could challenge us here. I have heard there are wizards somewhere in Essos, but I doubt they could wield magic as I do.
To be honest, life has moved into a boring stagnation, waiting for things to change in our favor. Besides assassinating the King, I see nothing to move us towards our end goal. I continue making alliances around Westeros, but some regions are slower than others.
Lord Tarly only needs my support and a distraction to take Highgarden from the Tyrells. He is an easy man to control, not in the way that he is unintelligent, he is just ambitious. Robert Baratheon and Mace Tyrell continue to embarrass him and treat him poorly, thus allowing me to step in. The problem with Tarly seizing Highgarden is who will follow him? I would say most houses would for their own sake if in five years Hedwig is large and they have the support of my armies. However, I cannot be everywhere.
The North is a mixed bag. While I have Jon and will have Arya, I do not think I can count on Lord Stark for support to make a play to become King. The reason why they made Robert King was because he was related to the Targaryens which gave him legitimacy. I have no such blood relation. I could perhaps sway him with the fact that his daughter could be Queen one day if she marries James, but his second daughter and to fight to put me on the throne?
The Lannisters are a no go unless I replace them with another family in the Westerlands. Tywin's grandson is already going to be King, so he has no reason to support me.
Renly Baratheon is Lord of the Stormlands and would sooner name himself King than proclaim me King. Stannis is Lord of Dragonstone and would fall to the same trap as his brother…
Wait a second…
If King Robert were to die and his children were shown to not be true and rightful heirs, there are at least three forces, Renly - Stormlands, Stannis - Dragonstone, and Joffrey – Westerlands and Crownlands (who would still claim to be the true heir). That narrows my army needs and I wouldn't have to fight six Kingdoms at once, but only one or two. I'll need to be a bit more forceful with my magic, but I have an idea forming.
Harry as King - Master Plan (subject to change & expansion):
1. Lock up support from the Tarlys and allow House Tyrell to become weakened by the war and then replace them when they are weak.
2. The North needs brought into the fold by whatever means necessary. I'll send a raven with a confundus charm on it to force Lady Stark to send Arya to Harrenhal now to begin her fostering. Perhaps I can get into her head early enough that I can change her ideals and have her support me.
3. The Vale – This is much more complicated. I need their forces, but I am unsure how to get them without marrying off another daughter. I will think on this.
4. Crush the Westerlands and name another House as their Lords. The Lannisters have loyalty based on fear. If their vassals lose that fear, then I will have control.
5. Seize King's Landing. Boom, King.
Definitely not finished, but a plan.
Year 6: Day 60 - 295 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
According to Lady Arya, it had been a somber affair when she departed Winterfell for Harrenhal. She had been astonished that her mother had approached her father not a month ago and said she should foster with the us in the Riverlands immediately. Lord Stark had suggested the Vale, with the Arryns, but her mother had forcefully said that she should go to her former homeland. So thus, here she was, in Harrenhal with us.
Harrenhal was much different than she had been told apparently. The maester had said that it was a blackened wreck of a castle and the Peverells were crazy for living there, but the city was amazing to her! While the walls are dark and foreboding, once she entered the city proper the houses and shops were clean and well maintained and the city didn't smell! She appreciated that.
When Arya arrived, it had been a quick thing. Introductions to Astoria, James, Lily, and our new babe, Piper as well as to Susan, Luna, and Frank Longbottom. We then got to the serious topic of her magic and that she will learn how to wield it. She seemed surprised at first but understood. I gave her a demonstration of how useful magic is by controlling a guard and forcing him to do crazy things. She laughed and had a great time. Hopefully, as time goes on, she will realize that she is better than the people that surround us. Perhaps.
Year 6: Day 193 - 295 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
Hedwig continues to grow, becoming larger by the day. Although she has yet to breath fire, I can see it within her. Growing stronger. She is the size of an owl now, I would say. Her black scales with red veins remind me of the stories I have heard about Balerion the Black Dread. Perhaps she will grow to his size? He did live to be 200 years old though.
I have done some research and it seems that Dragons reproduce like reptiles. That is a bummer. I may have the only dragon in the world unless I find another dragon egg. There have been rumors of dragon eggs on Dragonstone, but I feel that Stannis would have found them by now. Perhaps when I name Jon Lord of Dragonstone, I can search for some. I would need a male dragon to produce additional dragons, which currently poses a problem. I guess I will have Susan spread a rumor that I am willing to pay for any legitimate dragon eggs, 'petrified' or not. We'll see what comes of it.
The Realm remains quiet. There has been a rumor spreading that Queen Cersei and her brother are a little too close... I wonder who started that? We shall see what comes of it. Lord Baelish continues to demand loans and support for the crown, I suggested that if he could not manage the realm's finances, then perhaps I should become Master of Coin. He has not responded.
Year 6: Day 325 - 296 AC
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
Hedwig is about the size of a medium sized dog. She was able to produce some flame and take flight for a moment the other day which is impressive. I believe our bond allows us to communicate in a way that I have not felt since Hedwig the owl. She seems to be able to understand my commands and thoughts without speaking which will definitely help in the heat of battle.
I received a raven from Lord Arryn yesterday that provided some intrigue in my life. I am unsure why he sent it to me, but I fear that it is due to my proximity to the capital:
"Lord Peverell,
I must speak with you about something with grave importance to the Realm. I will make haste to Harrenhal as I fear King's Landing is not safe for such a conversation. I fear you are the only one who has the ability to help me with this matter that will not use this against the Crown. Lysa, Robin, and I will join you within the week. - Hand of the King, Jon Arryn"
Interesting indeed.
Year 6: Day 331 - 296 AC - Harry POV
Lord Harry Peverell, Lord of Harrenhal and the Trident
Harry stood watching the small Vale party make their way into Harrenhal from the keep. It was small, too small. Only the Hand, Lysa, Robin, and four guards. They obviously departed without fanfare. Dangerous, yet obviously needed for secrecy. Lord Arryn looked surprised by the changes to Harrenhal if the facial expressions showed anything. It took only a moment for the small party to reach the keep where Harry greeted them.
"Lord Hand, I was surprised to receive your raven and your sudden arrival. I take it this is not a social call?" Harry asked, appraising the man. He looked old, much older than he had been. Lysa seemed paranoid, looking around and holding her son to her chest.
"You are correct, Lord Peverell. I come with grave news, but perhaps we should go inside where there aren't so many ears." Jon said, eying the guards and servants working in the yards. Harry nodded and quickly brought them inside where Astoria showed Lysa to where they would be staying. Harry and Jon made their way through the large keep to Harry's office. Harry closed the door and it glowed blue for a moment, confirming the silencing wards activated.
"You may speak plainly, Lord Hand." Harry said as he took his seat behind his desk, looking at the Lord appraisingly.
Jon took the opposite seat with a sigh, "I have come for two reasons, Harry. I fear they both effect the realm negatively... I fear our King's children are not of Robert's parentage and I fear that my own son is not of mine either..." He seemed defeated to Harry, obviously worried.
"Those are... concerning, Lord Hand. I will need more information at the least."
"I guess I will speak of what affects you most directly." He pulled a large book out of his bag that he seemed to be protecting, "Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the seven Kingdoms. I took it from the Grand Maester when I heard a rumor of Queen Cersei and her brother Jaime being closer than they should ought to be. Take a look at the description of the Lords of the Baratheon family." He pushed to book towards Harry, it was already on the first page of the Crown's family. Jon pointed to a name on the page, "Start here".
"Axel Baratheon, first of his name, born to Lord Orys Baratheon and Lady Argalia Baratheon, she that was daughter of Argilac the Arrogant, last of the Storm Kings in the 2nd year after Aegon's Landing. Brown of eye, black of hair, strong of bone and sinew. Wed to Lady Alanna of House Penrose in... Is this supposed to mean something to me, Lord Hand?"
"Keep reading Lord Peverell!" Jon said, obviously annoyed that Harry had not caught onto what he was trying to tell him.
Alright... the 20th year after Aegon's Landing. Died in his forty-second year of wounds sustained in a duel over his wife's honor with Steffon Trant at Gallowsgrey having bore no issue." Harry continued. After that person, he raised his eyes to look at Lord Arryn who still seemed to want Harry to continue, "Serac Baratheon, first of his name, born to Lord Orys Baratheon and Lady Argalia Baratheon, she that was daughter of Argilac the Arrogant, last of the Storm Kings, in the 5th year after Aegon's Landing at Storm's End. Brown of eye, black of hair, strong of bone and sinew. Wed to Monica Velaryon in his seventeenth year at Driftmark. Father to five sons, their names being William, Reginald, Steffon, Padraic and Flynn. Died in his sixty-eighth year from a severe chill. I don't know how this explains anything Jon."
"No no! Must I explain everything?! Look at the description! Black of Hair!" Jon stood, making his way behind Harry's desk and pointing to the line with the descriptions, "Look, Lord Lyonel Baratheon, Black of Hair... Lord Steffon Baratheon, Black of Hair!" he flipped the page, "Robert Baratheon, Black of Hair... Joffrey Baratheon, Golden-haired, green of eye. The seed is strong, Lord Peverell."
"So, his hair is of a different color? That is how you know, Lord Hand? My son's hair is golden-haired like his mother, yet my hair is black? Is my son the offspring of Jaime Lannister as well?" Harry said, sarcastically. He knew that Lord Arryn was probably correct with his suspicion, but he must be able to explain it.
"Sure, but since Aegon's Conquest, Baratheon's have ALWAYS been black of hair. None are golden-haired. That, coupled with the rumors, make a good case that the King's children are not his. I even see a bit of madness in Joffrey, like the inbred Targaryens."
"I'll weigh your evidence, tell me about your own problem..." Harry said, changing to the Lord's child, which could be used in his favor much more easily.
"I have always been suspicious of Lysa. I knew that my marriage to her was a political one, not of love, which I was okay with. However, we really only had relations once or twice a year trying for an heir since Robert's rebellion, but suddenly she gets pregnant when I ask her to visit me in King's Landing? I fear she may be having relations with Petyr Baelish… They have always been close since he was fostered at Riverrun, but they have been spending a lot of time together in King's Landing." Jon sighed. This was definitely the issue that was weighing heavily on his heart.
"There is a way to tell, my Lord. A Valyrian… ritual… That I learned from a book I bought from an Essosi trader not to long ago. It tells you the parentage of a child using his blood." Lord Arryn looked skeptical and taken aback by the suggestion of blood magic, "Oh don't worry, Lord Hand. It really doesn't do anything other than explain the parents. No need to look like that."
"I am unsure… What if he is my son?"
"Then you will know. Lysa wouldn't question you showing me your son?" Harry asked, hoping the Lord would agree.
"I don't think she would." Jon shrugged.
"Bring your son and we will begin." Harry replied. Jon quickly made his way out the office, leaving Harry behind. Harry took out a piece of parchment and spelled the parentage charm onto it. It was similar to the parentage and inheritance charmed paper at Gringotts, but much less detailed.
Jon returned within ten minutes with his son, "Lord Arryn, what will happen is I will simply take a drop of your son's blood and drop it onto this piece of parchment. Then, the truth will be revealed." Jon nodded in agreement and Harry removed a small Valyrian steel dagger from his sleeve. Jon looked surprised and Harry smiled, "Always be prepared for trouble, Lord Hand."
Harry quickly pricked the hand of Robin, causing the weak child to start crying. Harry rolled his eyes as Jon stared at the page in front on him. Harry took the drop of blood and let it fall onto the page. It glowed for a moment then writing seemed to appear from within the page itself.
Harry was not surprised when he saw the results.
Robin Arryn
Mother: Lysa Arryn nee Tully
Father: Petyr Baelish
"Now you know, Lord Hand. What happens now?" Harry asked, looking up to the man.
Jon's eyes flared with anger, and he seemed like he wanted to just drop his son, "I get revenge."
"Good, Lord Arryn. Good."
