"Mikey, it's over." The youngest turtle could hear the pain and despair in his oldest brother's voice. But it was the defeat he heard in Raph's voice that really hit him hard. He turned to Raph and Donnie, tears streaming down his face.

"Leo never gave up on us. I'm not giving up on him." Mikey turned back to where he was trying his hardest to make a portal.

"Casey told me I was a great mystic warrior. I'm the only one that can save him." The thought kept repeating in his head. He never even noticed when his skin started glowing and cracking.

What he did notice was his brothers' hands on his shoulders. Raph said something but, Mikey was so focused on saving Leo that he couldn't make it out. His eyes widened as the portal started to form and he saw a glimpse of his brother floating through the prison dimension. Just as Leo got close enough for them to see him fully, the portal started to waver before it suddenly closed.

"No!" Mikey bolted out of his sleep with a yell. He quickly turned to check on his brother but, Leo wasn't there. The youngest brother felt a surge of panic as he noticed he was alone in the room.

"RAPH! DONNIE!" Mikey was hyperventilating and had started sobbing as Donnie and Raph rushed into the room.

"We're here, Mikey!" They tried to comfort their baby brother, but he seemed to be inconsolable. The older turtles could tell he was saying something, but Mikey was crying so hard they couldn't understand him.

"Mikey, calm down. What are you saying?"

"Leo. I…I couldn't save Leo. He's gone and it's my fault." Raph wrapped him in a tight hug as Mikey sobbed harder. His voice was soothing as he stroked his youngest brother's shell.

"Mikey, it's okay. Leo's fine, you saved him." But Mikey wouldn't listen.

"No, I didn't. His bed is empty. He's gone." Raph made a motion to Donnie.

Donnie nodded and walked out of the room. A minute later, he was back, supporting Leo. He helped his brother to his bed and placed a hand on Mikey's shell. Leo placed his hand beside Donnie's.

"Mikey." Leo's voice was calm as he attempted to reassure his baby brother that he was safe. Unfortunately, Mikey was still lost in his own head.

"I…I can still hear him calling to me. I'm sorry, Leo. Casey was wrong. I'm not a great mystic warrior. If I was, I could've saved you." Raph pulled away so he could look Mikey in the eye.

"Mikey, you did save Leo. See for yourself." Raph turned his brother towards Leo's bed, where his injured brother smiled at him.

"L-Leo? I-is that really you?" Mikey slowly held out a hand before pulling it back.

"No, it's not true. I must be dreaming. You can't be here because I couldn't save you."

"It's really me, little brother." Leo reached for his baby brother and placed his hand on Mikey's shoulder.

The gentle touch seemed to unlock something in Mikey. He lunged at Leo, wrapping him in a tight hug. Donnie went to pull Mikey away but, Leo held a hand up to stop him. Donnie and Raph watched as Leo comforted their baby brother, even though they could see the pain on his face.

"I had a horrible nightmare, Leo. You had sacrificed yourself to stop the Kraang. I…I had opened a portal to save you but..." Mikey started sobbing, again.

"It's okay, Mikey." Leo placed a hand on Mikey's shell.

"No, it's not. I couldn't hold the portal open. You were gone and it was all my fault."

"Hey, if it hadn't been for you, Leo'd still be trapped in that prison dimension. You never gave up, even when me and Donnie thought he was gone for good." Raph's words were soothing but, Mikey just tightened his grip on Leo, as if trying to keep him from leaving, again.

"Mikey, listen to me. The only person Casey was wrong about was me. I'm not the greatest ninja the world's ever seen. But he was right about you. I know that you're going to do great things."

"I don't want to lose you, again." Mikey' voice was muffled by having his head buried in Leo's chest.

"You never will, Mikey." Leo's voice was soothing as he rested his chin on Mikey's head.

Mikey felt two more hands on his shell. Keeping his head against Leo's chest, the youngest turned to face Donnie and Raph. They smiled at him as he clung tighter to their brother. Donnie moved to sit beside Leo as Raph moved to the other side.

"You're not gonna lose any of us, Mikey." Raph and Donnie wrapped their arms around their brothers, being careful of Leo's injuries.

"Nothing will ever tear us apart, again."
