Juu was flying and observing the distance "Oh you have to be kidding me"
"What is it?" Haraka asked
"It's just a baboon, stuck in a tree" Juu replied
"I thought monkeys are good at climbing trees" Mheetu said "How did that happen?"
"We are about to find out" Gumu said
"Please help!" The baboon cried
"So who is going up there to save the baboon?" Malka asked
"Me!" Mheetu exclaimed "I am good at climbing trees!"
"You sure about that? We won't save you if you cry" Haraka joked
"Yes I can!" Mheetu replied
Mheetu climbed at the tree as he would try to save the baboon
"Hey there little one" Mheetu comforted "It will be alright ill get you down"
"Ahhh! Lion!" The baboon yelled
"Calm down I won-"
The baboon got out of the tree and ran away, while Mheetu fell when the tree branch broke.
"Looks like you actually saved him!" Haraka laughed
"I mean it kinda worked" Mheetu replied while limping
"Mheetu, are you ok?" Malka asked
"Yeah I'm fine" Mheetu said as he tried to walk "Ow!"
"Mheetu, looks like you broke your paw.." Gumu said
"Nah, it will be fine" Mheetu chuckled "It's not that bad"
"I don't know Mheetu, Your paw seems... Broken" Malka said
"Oh come on Malka it's fine!" Mheetu replied "It's just a little pain"

"And Malka, How is it going with you and Simba?" Rafiki asked
"We're doing fine...I guess" Malka spat "He finally admitted it, that's great"

Malka sighed "We're doing fine, I don't hate him, I just don't want to spend time with him"
"Malka I must remind you that deep down Simba loves you as a brother, even tho you guys had some conflicts together and even tho you two aren't related... You must treat each other as brothers" Rafiki said

It was a rainy night at the pridelands, what's worse is that the whole pride hasn't come back from the hunt yet including there parents
"Where's mom and dad?" Malka asked
"They haven't come back yet, let's just wait for them and you can go back to sleep, I'll wake you up when they're back" Simba replied
"Simba, will they take long?" Malka asked
"Hopefully not" Simba replied as a thunder clapped
"Wh-what is that?" Malka stuttered
"Are you afraid of the thunder?" Simba asked as Malka replied with a nod
"Don't worry ill take care of you" Simba said "It's not that scary, Just sleep and ill take care of you"
"Y-you will?"
"Yes, I will" Simba replied "Just sleep ok? I'll be with you, if you don't wanna be alone"
"Just sleep, the thunder won't hurt you" Simba comforted as another thunder clapped
"I-its scary.." Malka stuttered
"It will be fine, no one is going to hurt you" Simba comforted with a hug covering Malka's ears "Just sleep, it will go away"
Simba's attempt to calm Malka down was successful as he finally slept.
Malka remembered that day, Maybe Simba wasn't so bad it's just Tojo and Chumvi, maybe it is time to forgive his brother.
"We better get some good meat after this Pakiti!" Chafu said
"Of course we will Chafu, those pridelanders won't see us coming" Pakiti replied
"How about the Lion Guard?" Rushwa pointed out "You surely don't want to deal with them"
"Like again they won't see us coming" Pakiti grinned
"Hey you three!" Simba showed "What are you doing in the pridelands?"
"Oh look at this kitty cat" The Jackal chuckled "What is he going to do?"
Simba regretted his decision to face the jackals as he stood back, how can he fight three jackals at once?
Juu was observing the pridelands and stopped as she saw three jackals attacking the prince
"I better tell Malka!"
"Hold it boys!" Pakiti commanded
"Pakiti, why did we stop?" Rushwa asked
"Why eat this cub, when we can have more?" Pakiti chuckled
"Wh-what do you mean?" Simba asked
"Well you see.. We will just take you to the outlands" Pakiti replied "And Mufasa will give up the kingdom to me after he finds out that I have his son!"
"That's a great idea!" Chafu cheered
"No-no! please don-"
"Malka!" Juu called
"What is it?" Malka replied
"The Prince is in danger!" Juu exclaimed "Three Jackals are trying to hurt him!"
"Simba.. Where is he?" Malka asked
"Just follow me!" Juu replied
"Where is he??" Malka asked since there was no sign of Simba or the Jackals
"Oh no..." Juu gasped "We were too late"
"He has to be here somewhere!" Malka said "Juu, try finding him in every corner of the pridelands!"
"Will do" Juu replied before flying away
"We...have to find him.." Malka said with a worried tone
"Don't worry Malka" Gumu comforted "We can find him, I'm sure of it"
"Don't worry about it Malka he will be fine" Mheetu said
"I have a right to be worried.." Malka replied "And also Mheetu how's your paw?"
"It's fine" Mheetu said "I hate the fact that I have to wear this leaf things for my paw"
"Mheetu you better take it off" Haraka joked "So your paw will be broken forever"
"Malka it is a pleasure to meet you again" Mzingo showed up
"Mzingo.. What do you want?" Malka asked
"It's a message from the Jackals and it's for your father..." Mzingo announced "They have Simba, and Mufasa should step down as King so Simba can return to Priderock unharmed"
"That sounds like a threat.." Gumu sajd
"I'll go there alone" Malka said "I'll save him before Dad finds out"
"Malka it's going to be like the last time right?!" Mheetu grinned "You'll go alone but Juu will follow you"
"No, The Lion Guard should stay at the pridelands" Malka replied
"Malka are you sure you can handle them alone?" Haraka asked
"Yes and it's for the better" Malka said "The Jackals might attack while we are away"
"Well if that's the case, Be safe" Haraka said "I'll lead the patrol while you're away"

"So I am back in the outlands, I always hated this place" Malka complained
"Do I even know where the Jackals live?" Malka asked himself "Whatever, here goes nothing"

"The name's Fisi" The female hyena greeted "And looks like you're lost"
"No I am not!" Malka growled "I know where I am going"

"You lions really think that all hyenas are bad" Fisi replied
"Yeah, all hyenas I met are bad!" Malka defended
"Like Shenzi Banzai and Ed?" Fisi said "Obviously I'm not like them"
"Yeah and I should trust you because?" Malka asked
"Because you're in my territory" Fisi replied "I want you out"
"I am just passing through" Malka defended "I need to go to whatever the jackals live in"
"I know where the jackals live!" Fisi said "Like again follow me if you don't wanna be lost"
Malka sighed "Fine.. I can't believe I'm trusting a hyena.."
"Let me out!" Simba growled "My Dad will beat you!"
"Oh that's so scary!!" Pakiti said feigning fear "He won't have to fight us when he will give us his kingdom just to get you back!"
Chafu chuckled "Can we eat him?"
"No you fool!" Pakiti hissed "If we do that then we don't get the kingdom in our hands"
"Technically we can still eat him.." Rushwa joined in "Who said that we actually have to follow the rules? We can kill Mufasa by surprise"
"Great idea.." Pakiti replied
"I swear the Lion Guard is on its way to save me" Simba whispered "Please Malka.. I'm sorry"
"You see that? that's the circle of life for you" Malka said after witnessing a spider eat a fly
"Wait, you don't think I know about the circle of life!?" Fisi asked
"Well...you are a hyena.." Malka replied
"Look, I know Shenzi's clan is greedy and it's more than there share, but most hyenas respect the circle of life.." Fisi explained "We're the clean up crews"
"Picking up all the sloppy eaters, We hyenas eat what you lions left behind" Fisi added
"Oh.. I guess I never thought about it like that.." Malka said

Malka followed what the hyena said, that turned out to be the Jackal's lair, the place was full of bones and rotten meat.. It was creepy
"Hey Jackals!" Malka showed up "I am here! Alone"
"Malka, leader of The Lion Guard" Pakiti spat "We weren't expecting you"
"Let go of Simba!" Malka threatened
"Why should we?" Chafu chuckled
"Let...him...go!" Malka roared sending the three Jackals to the Sky
"Malka, I wa-"
"Simba, there is no time for that!" Malka interrupted "We better run before they come back"
"Simba! Where have you been?" Mufasa asked
"The jackals took me... And Malka saved me" Simba replied
"Well I'm glad you're safe" Mufasa replied
"So Malka how was it?" Simba asked "I know you don't forgive me bu-"
"I forgive you.." Malka said "And it was fine, I met a friend"
"Who?"
"She's the one that showed me the way" Malka explained "She's a hyena"
"A hyena?!?" Simba exclaimed
"I know...But turns out not all hyenas are bad" Malka replied "Some of them are actually good"

"Ushari..." Scar called
"What do you want Ssscar?" Ushari asked "You were exiled, I supposed you aren't supposed to be here"
"Well Ushari, I'll need your help" Scar said
"For what?"
"Malka needs his scar..." Scar explained "And I need you for that"
