A few weeks have passed since I last saw Donnie. He has been busy with either fighting crime or sleeping after pulling an all-nighter with one of his inventions. We do try to stay in contact though, he tells me about his missions and how apparently it is his brothers' faults when something goes wrong. However, I am pretty sure that is just his ego talking. I have asked him about his brother seeing me, but he seems to be reluctant in bringing it up. My growing suspicion is that he is most likely not even allowed to talk to me to begin with.

I have to admit, I do miss him. I think about him during my walks, at work, and when I am even eating. Every time I come home, I look at the couch and think about that moment. It was so arousing that I could not help but pleasure myself every night ever since. Even though he is busy all the time, I wonder if he thinks about me as much as I do about him. He is almost constantly in my thoughts, making me fantasize having him home every night. A part of me hopes that he still watches over me in some degree, especially while I walk home at night from work. I would like to think he is my sole protector, keeping me safe from a distance. Though, I suppose that is a lot to ask of him.
The night has gotten even colder somehow, and it reminds me of the hoodie that I let him borrow. I would appreciate getting it back at some point. However, I just know that reaching out for the hoodie would just be a sad way of trying to see him again. He will come back when he is able to, I just know it. While stewing in my thoughts, I hear a tap at my window. I jumped up in excitement while making sure I looked decent in the passing mirror. I open up my curtains and my face converted into disappointment and then puzzlement. A slight muffle comes from the other side of the glass.

"Hello Y/N!"

"Oh, it is just you, Shelldon."

I open up the window and let him fly him, he quickly started exploring my room.

"Nice place you got here! Seems a bit small though, doesn't it? Where is even your bathroom?"

"This is just part of my apartment Shelldon, there is more to it."

"Ooooh! That makes sense."

"Yeah, anyway, why are you even here? Is everything ok? Where is Donnie?"

"Yeah, about that, Donnie sent me to give you a more personal message."

"Message? Why didn't he just text me?"

"The thing about that, he got in serious trouble. Splinter found out you and confiscated his phone. He did not want you to think he left you hang so he sent me and this."

He pulls out my hoodie from his internal compartment and hands it over to me. I look down at it, staring hard while processing what Shelldon spoke.

"W-wait a minute, when did this happen?!"

"Just an hour ago, Donnie actually tried to vouch for you, but Splinter was not having it."

"I don't understand! He told me about his other human friend April! How come I can't be friends with him too?!"

"I don't know, maybe he is just trying to protect him and his brothers. You are still pretty new, and we do have a lot of enemies…"

"I AM NOT SOME PYSCHO MUTANT! I WOULD NEVER HURT DONNIE! Please…there must be something I can do?!"

My voices cracks as I try to hold back my tears, the thought of being alone again crushed me. Hearing from Donnie, especially after a dangerous mission, always made my day. I am prepared to do whatever it takes to keep him in my life.

"It is not my call, Y/N, I am just the messenger. Donnie is pretty upset about this as well, I have never seen him so moody."

"Wait, you ARE the messenger! Couldn't you suggest to Donnie that we could have you be our messenger owl?! You wouldn't need to come every day, just maybe once a week! You can come at a certain hour so that there is no way to be caught!"

"Hmmm…still seems little risky but I can pass along the idea to Dee. In the meantime, don't do anything crazy like trying to find us. Less trouble Dee is in, the better."

"I PROMISE! Come back a week from now after his dad and brothers are asleep, if you don't show, I will assume Donnie is against the idea.""Got it. Well, I need to get back before Donnie gets worried. He does not want the Purple Dragons to get a hold of me again."

"Purple Dragons?"

"Yeah, long story, maybe I will tell you next time."

As he flies back out the window, he turns back to me once more.

"Donnie…really does like you, before this happened, he would almost always have smile on his face and would constantly rewrite a text message, so he did not sound weird."

A smile flashed across my face as I blushed. I guess that explains why it takes him so long to text back at times.

"Thank you, Shelldon."
