Hey everyone, Wolf here. This is partially in response to a Review, but I also figured it would be a good idea to explain my reasoning for Percy's domains.
Heroes: This should be fairly self-explanatory, but Percy is a former hero himself, so it fits.
Volcanoes: Percy's father is Poseidon, god of the sea. There are many underwater volcanoes, so that was my correlation on that.
Weapons, Swordsmanship, and Weapon Forging: Percy is the strongest swordfighter in millennia, if not ever. As for Weapon Forging, it would be correlated to Weapons, and it would take something off of Hephaestus' hands. If you want a large batch of generic weapons, you go to Hephaestus, but if you want specialized weapons, you would go to Percy.
Monsters: This just made sense to me, as Percy has killed so many of them, a lot of them would already respect his strength, even though they may not have liked him when he was a half-blood.
Loyalty: This should also be self-explanatory, seeing as Percy's fatal flaw was Personal Loyalty.
Leadership: This made sense because Percy is a natural leader. During his time as a demigod, he was quickly made the unofficial leader of the camp, and he defended New York with only 40 demigods, against hundreds, if not thousands of monsters. Then, when he went to New Rome, he was made Praetor after proving himself in battle, after having just joined the legion. And after all of this, he still gave his friends the credit for his accomplishments. He stayed humble, and half-bloods could approach him anytime.
Time: This should also self-explanatory, while technically Luke killed himself to stop Kronos, Percy handed him the knife. And Percy battled Kronos until he was weak enough for Luke to sacrifice himself.
Light: He has the domain of Light because he defeated Hyperion during the attack on New York. Plus, he encountered him again in Tartarus, while Iapetus killed him that time, Percy was the one that convinced him that Iapetus was a bad Titan, and Percy was there both times he was defeated.
I hope this makes sense, and if not, leave a review telling me why. Thank you to everyone that has reviewed, and I will eventually be back with another chapter. I do not know when, but I am planning to get better at writing before I continue this. I hope to continue it by next Spring. Wolf out.
