The adults managed to persuade the lad to open the door up and an angry Lucius Malfoy greeted them holding the Daily Prophet in his hand.
"It wasn't us," Hermione said quickly. "A boy named Collin Creevey had sneakily taken one of us last night when we made our relationship and marriage public like you know father. I had completely forgotten about Collin and his camera through all the changes. We most certainly did t expect to see that kind of photo on the front of the Daily Prophet, I didn't have time to read it, Viktor got rather angry and took us out of the Hall."
"She's telling the truth father!" Draco said, "I heard the Weaslette yelling at Potter and Weasley then McGonagall was standing by them and I believe Dumbledore arrived by the time I had left. I wouldn't be surprised if those two had something to do with this; the look on Weasel's face when he saw Hermione and Viktor last night, was pretty priceless; his face went darker than his hair!"
"They do not know who you are, but it won't take long, for the gossipers to let tongues slip," Narcissa said pulling her daughter in for a hug.
"Then why don't you arrange for the Daily Prophet to interview them? And yourselves before any fake gossip can be leaked and make things worse?" Karkaroff said, annoyed with all these people he did not like on his ship!
"Then I will have someone come to Severus' office!" Her father said, after thinking about it. She wasn't sure when she started referring to Lucius Malfoy as father without thinking about it or not thinking about the Grangers, but she chose not to think too deeply on it he is her real father and Narcissa is her mother, she just wasn't sure when her mind stopped hesitating.
"Who wrote the article?" Hermione asked.
"Rita Skeeter," her father and Severus said with identical looks of disgust, her mother giggled.
"She really is awful!"
"I haff heard off her!" Viktor said frowning.
"Who hasn't?" Dumbledore said, and Karkaroff groaned.
"That's it! Get off my bloody ship. Nobody else other than Viktor's wife can't step aboard my ship, now her stuff is here." Her mother made a surprised noise.
"They are married Cissia..." Lucius said, seeing the look on his wife's face as her eyes narrowed at him.
"What haven't you been telling me, Lucius Malfoy?" In actual fact... I'm taking MY daughter and son-in-law to Hogsmeade whilst you lot sort this mess out!" She fumed.
"Us?" He's the one who chose to do this in front of the entire great hall!" Lucius fumed waving the Daily Prophet in her face. Narcissa took it from her husband.
"I did not know the kid had a camera!" Her husband growled. Hermione moved from her mother's embrace and stepped in front of her husband who wrapped his arms around her, glaring at her father.
"Mr Creevey has had his camera confiscated for the rest of the year and Mr Potter and Weasley have been expelled for three months, and are now in a safe house. We do NOT tolerate bullying in Hogwarts and we most certainly do NOT encourage other students, to encourage their classmates to do wrongdoings. Mr Creevey has been given a weeks detention with Filch, using no magic." Professor Dumbledore said.
"Please tell the Weasleys I have nothing against them, and I'd still like to be friends with Ginny, as long as it doesn't put her in an awkward position because I know how difficult Ronald can be."
"Three months isn't good enough, Dumbledore..." my father sneered angrily as he stormed off the ship followed by Severus and Dumbledore.
"Thank Merlin, I have MY ship back," Karkaroff grumbles.
"Dumbledore clearly never said no, so come on you three! I want some quality time," she took Draco by the arm and dragged him out the ship not giving them a chance. Viktor looked back at his headmaster who rolled his eyes.
"Best do as the lady said..." Hermione took hold of her husband's hand, and smiled at Kakaroff then followed after her mother and brother.
She wasn't too sure how she felt about everything but she didn't care right in this moment, she had wanted to spend some time with Narcissa but wasn't sure how to approach her, having not spent as much time with her as she had around Draco and Lucius.
They had a second breakfast at Hogsmeade's version of an American diner and she showed her husband what she means by this, and she had a feeling they would be going to one very soon. Viktor received an owl at dinner from his Quidditch team, he frowned and showed it to her even though she'd already seen it through his eyes.
"Can I tell them?" She asked her husband in Bulgarian. Her mother gasped in surprise.
"Yes," he nodded drinking his coffee. Viktor waved his wand and Hermione explains he was placing a silencing charm up around them.
"Viktor and his teammates have been asked to attend a special ceremony to receive the World Cup after the Death Eaters attack. She noticed Draco and Narcissa tense at this and she narrowed her eyes.
"What? Oh and Viktor can understand everything I say by the way, just like I can him, it happened after we mated." Narcissa closed her eyes and cursed her husband.
"Mother..." Draco said in a warning tone, surprising her and Viktor as Narcissa glared at him.
"Hermione would have known had she not been stolen from us Draco! And I feel Viktor should be informed as well, now he is a part of this family... your father's Dark Mark has been changing slowly and the Quidditch cup was a planned attack, on the camp more than the players and stadium itself. They feared if they did not act and he is to truly returned and they'd not done anything since his downfall, then they would all be in trouble. No lives were lost and no serious injuries were caused, more of a scare tactic. Be wary of Mad-Eye Moody." Her mother explained to them, Severus and your father have their suspicions and I would not be surprised if Dumbledore does too."
Both she and her husband felt shocked. Viktor more so than she did, she'd heard stories before about the Malfoy family but having her mother confirm it, felt different.
