(Secrets)

Feza, Mebh, and the pack were back in the den with Moll's dormant human body. Feza had been quiet since the previous night. She couldn't tell Mebh about where their mammy was. She couldn't say that she and Robyn had found her in the town. Mebh had seen her wound appear on her human body after she had been shot by Lord Protector. Mebh had healed it.

"We made a new friend, Mammy! It's a townie, but a nice one. Her name's Robyn. She's as tall as Feza and did our hair, putting this flower in mine!" Mebh said excitedly. Feza only stayed silent as guilt started to set in. Mebh was her sister and she's never kept anything from her.

"She's from a place called England. And we're all gonna meet by the oak tree tomorrow! She promised to help us. Even Feza went to check on her. *Starts to tear up* Oh, Mammy... where are you...?" Mebh asked in a sad tone. Feza looked over and gave her sister a hug.

"It'll be okay, Mebh. She's alright," Feza said, pulling back from the hug. "How do you know? We don't know where she is. She promised that she would come back soon. Is she lost? Has something happened to her. There's three of us and the pack," Mebh said, looking down.

Feza sighed and snuggled into Moll's lap, closing her eyes. Her wolf soul jumped out of her human body, and she jumped on the grass. She turned towards her little sister. "I'm gonna go to the oak tree," she said.

"Oh! Let me go with you so we can wait for Robyn," Mebh yelped, jumping off of her Mammy's lap. Feza dropped her ears and said, "I need a moment to myself, Mebh. I'll give you a howl if I need you or if Robyn comes early," the young wolfwalker said.

Mebh was instantly saddened by her sister's request. "Okay," she said, climbing back in her Mammy's lap again.

Feza galloped through the woods as a wolf, running to the oak tree. She leapt from the ground and onto the biggest branch where they departed from Robyn the night prior. Feza looked down with her ears airplaned on her head.

She just needed time to think about Mebh would probably hate her if she found out that Feza did find Moll. "I'm so dumb... We gotta lead the pack to safety like Mammy said. But Mebh won't do it until she's back with us," she groaned, covering her face with a paw. After ten minutes, she then hears Mebh howling from the den, making her ears become erect and attentive from the sound.

"I knew she would get impatient," she said before howling back. Feza jumped down and ran back into the forest and back to the den. "What'd I say, Mebh? I needed a few minutes to think to myself," she said after jumping back into her human body and waking up from her slumber.

"I know. But I gotta know something. Are you hiding something from me?" Mebh asked, standing up with her small arms crossed. "No! I'm not," Feza shouted defensively. "Are you sure?" Mebh asked curiously.

"Yes, I'm sure. *sighs* Look, we should go wait for Robyn. She did say she would meet us at sun high, which it is now," Feza said. After telling the pack to stay at the den, the two young wolf walkers went to the oak tree to meet Robyn.

But they waited for no more than ten minutes before Merlyn flew towards the duo. "Oh! There you are, Merlyn. You know where Robyn is?" Feza asked, holding her arm out for the bird to land.

"What do you mean she isn't allowed out of the town? She promised! Help me find her, Merlyn!" Mebh shouted, leaping off of the branch and running on all fours.

'Ello! Sorry for being away for so long! As usual, things have gotten in the way. It's life, so you really can't expect much from it. I'm ready to get back to this so be prepared for more to come.
