Chapter 8: Destiny

It's the next day since Scourge and Fiona raped me and Sonic. I woke up in a lot of pain. I was still tied to the bed, so was Sonic. Emily was still tied to a chair. Scourge woke up a few minutes after I woke up.

"Morning babe. Did you learn your lesson I hope?" Scourge said. I nodded. "Good girl." Scourge said as he kissed me. "Scourge, can we rape her again? Last night was amazing." Fiona said. "Not right now, Fi. I think she's had enough last night. We can rape her again later." Scourge said. "Ugh, fine." Fiona whines. "Don't worry babe, you can have sex with me while we wait." Scourge said.

"Heh. Don't mind if I do." Fiona said. Fiona and Scourge began having sex again.

*In team RWBY's dorm, Ruby's POV*

"Good morning, Sonic," I said cheerfully when I woke up. "Sonic?" I said again when he didn't answer me the first time. I looked at the side of my bed and saw that Sonic was not in my bed. I grew worried.

"Sonic!" I cried. The other girls and Rouge woke up. "Ruby? What is it?" Blake asked. "Sonic isn't here!" I cried. "Oh Ruby, he's probably at Shadow's place," Weiss assured me. "No... I've got a bad feeling." I said. "Oh no," Blake said. "What?" Weiss said. "Lana isn't here either," Blake said. "Shit. Scourge must have taken them while we were asleep." Rouge said. "I'm gonna check Shadow's place first," I said. "We'll stay here in case they come back," Weiss said.

I nodded and changed into my huntress outfit, then I went over to Shadow's place. I knocked on the door. Shadow answered the door.

"Ruby? Is there something I can help you with?" Shadow asked me. "Yes. Is Sonic here?" I asked. "No? I thought he was staying at your place for tonight." Shadow said. "So, he hasn't come to your place at all?" I asked. "No," Shadow said, starting to get worried. "Oh shit. I'm getting the feeling Scourge might have taken him while we were sleeping." Shadow said. "That's what Rouge was saying too," I said. Suddenly, Dash, Shadow's son walked up to us.

"Dad? What's going on?" Dash said worriedly. "Don't worry son. Everything's fine. Can you stay here? Ruby and I need to take care of something." Shadow said. "Sure Dad," Dash said. Dash stayed in the dorm while Shadow and I prepared to rescue Sonic and Lana. Shadow was not going to Scourge's dorm first.

"Uh, where are we going?" I asked. "We are going to my dad's place first. I need help to rescue them." Shadow said. "Oh, okay," I said. When we got to Mephile's dorm, Shadow explained to him what happened.

"Okay, I can help. Where is the dorm?" Mephiles said. "It's that way," Shadow said. We took him to the dorm to rescue our kids.

*Back in Scourge's dorm, Lana's POV*

After Scourge and Fiona had sex, Fiona began hitting on me again. Fiona gave me another kiss. I just wanted this to stop. I wanted to be with my family right now. As Fiona was gonna kiss me again, we got startled when the door busted open. My parents, Shadow and Ruby, and Mephiles was in the dorm.

"Oh great. You guys again." Scourge groans. "Scourge, let my daughter and my husband go. Now!" Shadow yelled. "No, I don't think so. Their punishment for what happened at the tournament yesterday." Scourge said. "You know it wasn't their fault. Now let them go." Mephiles said angrily. "Hmph. Your gonna have to make me." Scourge said. "Gladly," Mephiles said with a smirk. Mephiles began fighting Scourge. As they were fighting, Ruby and Shadow walked over to us.

"Don't move," Fiona said as she pointed a gun at them. Ruby said nothing as she punched Fiona out of the way, knocking the gun out of her hand. "Hey!" Fiona yelled.

Ruby went over to Sonic and untied him while taking the ball gag off of him. Shadow went over to me and untied me, taking the ball gag out of me as well.

"What took you guys so long?" I said, a bit angry. "Sorry. We didn't know where you were at first." Shadow said. Ruby held Sonic close to her as Sonic was trembling in fear. I quickly untied Emily and took the ball gag off her.

"Thanks, sis," Emily said. "You're welcome. Let's get out of here." I said. I grabbed my huntress outfit and put it on quickly. We left the dorm after we were all rescued.

"Dad? Can you watch my kids while I take care of Sonic?" Shadow asked. "Yeah," Mephiles said. Mephiles took Emily back to her dorm. Shadow, Ruby, Sonic, and I went to team RWBY's dorm. Weiss and Blake ran up to us and hugged me tightly. Rouge ran up to me and hugged me tightly as well. I was happy to see her again.

"Oh babe, are you okay? What happened?" Rouge asked. "I'll tell you later," I said. Then I saw my girlfriend, Yang who was sitting on Weiss's bed. I was happy to see her again too.

"Mom!" I cried as I ran up to hug her. Yang returned my hug and set me down on the bed. "Are you okay?" I asked. Yang sighed. "We need to talk," Yang said. "O-okay," I said. Hearing those words is always a bad sign. Did she want to break up with me? Rouge, Ruby, and Sonic sat down on the bed next to me. Shadow, Weiss, and Blake sat down on the bed across from us. Soon, my other best friends, Tails and Knuckles walked into the dorm. Ironwood walked into the dorm as well. After a while of talking, Ironwood said, "I'm sorry. But you left us with no choice."

"But he attacked Lana! I couldn't just let him hurt her!" Yang shouted. "Yeah, he did! Didn't you see it with your own eyes?!" Sonic yelled. "Video footage and millions of viewers say otherwise," Ironwood said. "Now that's some bullshit." Shadow scoffed. "You can't just trust video footage. Me and the others know what we saw! After the battle was over, Yang and Lana were leaving the stage, but Mercury tried to attack her!" Sonic shouted.

"That's true!" Tails said. "Yeah! Yang would never do that!" Weiss shouted. "Yeah!" Ruby agreed as she stood up. Yang put her head in her palms in distress. "You all seem like good students. And the staff here at Beacon are fully aware that you would never lash out the way you did. Under normal circumstances. But I believe and hope this to be nothing more than the result of stress and adrenaline. When you're out on the battlefield, your judgment can become clouded in an instant. Sometimes you see things that simply aren't there. Even after the fight has passed." Ironwood explained.

"But I wasn't-" Yang started but Ironwood cut her off. "That's enough! The sad truth is... whether it was an accident or an assault it doesn't matter. The world saw you attack an innocent student. They've already drawn their own conclusions. And it's my job to inform you that... you're disqualified." Ironwood said. My eyes widened, and so did Yangs.

"What the fuck?! You can't just-" I began. "Lana..." Shadow scolded me. "My mind has been made up already," Ironwood said. Ironwood left the dorms. Rouge put her hand on my shoulder to comfort me.

"You guys believe me... Right?" Yang said. "Of course, I do!" Sonic said. "Me too!" Tails said. "I believe you," I said. "Duh!" Ruby said. "Your hotheaded, but not ruthless," Weiss said. "You do have a temper." Knuckles said. "Blake?" Yang asked. Blake stayed silent.

"Mom?" I said. "I want to believe you," Blake said. "Huh?" Ruby said. "What's that supposed to mean?" Weiss said as she rolled her eyes. Yang's eyes began to tear up.

"Blake?" Yang said. "Blake, you don't believe what they say, right?" Sonic said. "Maybe she does," Shadow said. "Blake..." Tails said. "How can you say something like that? Yang would never lie to us!" Weiss shouted. "Yeah Mom, Yang wouldn't lie!" I shouted. Blake sighed.

"I had someone very dear to me change. It wasn't in an instant. It was gradual... Little choices began to pile up. He told me not to worry. At first, they were accidents... then it was self-defense. Before long, even I began to think he was right. This is all just... very... familiar. But you're not him. And you've never done anything like this before. So... I want to trust you. I will trust you. But first, I need you to look me in the eyes and tell me he attacked Lana. I need you to promise me that you regret having to do what you did."

Yang wiped the tears from her eyes and held onto my hand. "I saw him attack me. So I attacked back."

Blake smiled and nodded. "Okay. Thank you." Blake said. "I think I'm gonna rest up," Yang said. Blake stood up. "We'll get out of your hair," Blake said. "Want me to stay with you?" I asked. Rouge grabbed my hand. "Come on sweetie, let's just leave her be. You can hang out with me." Rouge said. I sighed. "Okay," I said. We all left except Yang.

"This is a mess," Weiss said. "I know Weiss. Hopefully, things will clear up soon." Knuckles said. "This is all my fault," I said. "What do you mean?" Rouge asked. "If I didn't compete... none of this would have happened," I said. "Hey, it's not your fault. Don't worry Lana, you'll have another chance to compete with team JNPR tonight." Sonic said. Suddenly, Jaune opens the door.

"She doing okay?" Jaune asked. The rest of my parents, team JNPR were standing behind Jaune. "She's doing the best she can," Blake said. "I hear Mercury and his team rushed back to Haven with his family. So until they land, no one can really question him about what happened." Ruby said. "If there's anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask," Ren said. "All right then... if that's the case... Pyrrha?" Ruby said. "Hmm?" Pyrrha said.

"You and Lana be sure to win one for Beacon, okay?" Ruby said. "It's what Yang would want," Weiss said. "I'll do my best," Pyrrha said. "So will I," I said. "Something's not right with Pyrrha." I heard Sonic say quietly. "I'll be sure to watch tonight in case you're picked! And you too Lana!" Ruby said. "Thanks, Mommy," I said. "Sorry but I think I've had enough fighting for one year," Blake said. "Ditto," Weiss said and nodded.

"Aw come on, you guys aren't gonna watch me?" I whine. "No, sorry," Blake said. "Coffee?" Weiss said. "Tea," Blake said. "Tails, Knuckles, you guys coming with us?" Sonic asked. "No, sorry. Imma sit this one out." Tails said. "Me too." Knuckles said. "Wanna come with Lana?" Weiss asked. "No. I think I'm gonna hang out with team JNPR." I said. "Okay. Suit yourself." Weiss said. Team RWBY, Sonic, and Shadow leaves. I walked inside team JNPR's dorm.

Suddenly, Nora jumps out at me and Pyrrha, scaring me half to death.

"You heard the lady! No more moping around!" Nora shouted. Pyrrha and I exchanged confused looks. Nora changed into her workout clothes.

"We gotta get you're butts in shape for the big fight! It could be today! It could be tomorrow! It could be the most important fight of your entire lives!" Nora yelled. She picked up some weights and lifted them in the air. Nora fell over. I laughed.

"Umm..." Pyrrha began. "Nora's right," Ren said. You can't let your concern for Yang hold you guys back. You need to focus. You'll be defending in honor of Beacon Acadamy." Ren said. "Of course, I-" Pyrrha began but Ren cut her off. Ren held out a green drink.

"Ugh! Dad, what is that?" I said with disgust. "This blend of herbs and vegetables is filled with nutrients, vital to your body's well-being," Ren said. "Oh... that's-" Pyrrha started. "Please, there's no need to thank me," Ren said. "Thank you?! Ugh, that looks like a slime from a lakebed!" Nora shouted. "Exactly!" I said. "Alge contains numerous spectacular properties. See for yourself." Ren said. Ren hands the drink to Nora. Nora drinks it. As she drinks it, Nora's face turns green.

"Ugh!" Nora shouted. Pyrrha and I giggled as Nora goes to the garbage and vomits. "What is wrong with you?!" Nora yelled. "Me?! You're the one wasting perfectly good juice." Ren said. "I wouldn't exactly call that juice perfect, Dad," I said. "We were supposed to be helping Pyrrha and Lana, not poison them!" Nora shouted. "There was absolutely nothing wrong with that." Ren tries to defend himself. I saw Pyrrha who was looking worried now.

"Mom? Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah sweetie, I'm fine," Pyrrha said. Sonic is right, something is wrong with Pyrrha, and I need to find out what it is. I thought.

"If it looks the same coming up as it does going down, then there's something wrong!" Nora shouted. "Hey. How about we all get some fresh air?" Jaune says, breaking up the argument. "Yeah. Good idea, Daddy." I said.

*Back in team RWBY's dorm, Yang's POV*

It was silent in the dorm after everyone left to give me some space. I looked outside and saw team JNPR and Lana, my girlfriend and daughter walking outside with them. I hoped she was doing okay. I feel like I failed her, as a mother and a girlfriend. I felt ashamed.

"Hey there, firecracker." I heard a familiar voice say. The voice belonged to my Uncle Qrow who was standing in the dorm.

"Hey, Qrow..." I said sadly. "So... why'd you do it?" Uncle Qrow asked me. "You know why. I had to protect my girlfriend." I said angrily. "All I know is that you attacked a helpless kid. So either you're lying, or you're crazy." Uncle Qrow said. "I'm NOT lying," I said. "Hm, crazy. Got it." Uncle Qrow said and walked closer. "Who knows? Maybe I am." I said. "And here I thought your dark-haired friend was the emo one." Uncle Qrow said.

"I saw my mom," I said, changing the subject. "I-I was in a lot of trouble. Took a pretty hard hit. But when I came to, the person attacking me was gone. And I thought I saw... her. Her sword. Like the one in you and dad's old picture." I said. "Tch. You're not crazy, Yang. That was your mom alright. Let me guess, she didn't say a word, did she?" Uncle Qrow said. "How did you know that?" I ask. "I don't see my sister very often. But she does try to keep in touch. Whenever it suits her." Uncle Qrow said.

"Wait, you mean you talked to her? That was real?!" I shouted. "Yeah, she found me. Had a tip for my most recent assignment, and she wanted me to give you a message." Uncle Qrow said. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I said, angrier. "I was trying to wait for the right time. And this sure ain't it. But I guess you deserve to know. She wanted me to tell you that she saved you once. But you shouldn't expect that kindness again. Raven's got an interesting way of looking at the world that I don't particularly agree with. And she's dangerous. But you're a tough egg, kiddo. Shouldn't let this tournament thing get you down. You had a slip-up. Sometimes bad things just happen. I say it's time you move on." Uncle Qrow said.

"Move on to what?" I asked. "Well, Raven let some info slip before she took off. If you ever wanna track her down, I think I might be able to help." Uncle Qrow said.

*With team JNPR, Lana's POV*

After hanging out with my parents at the carnival, and going to the movies for the premiere day of Avengers: Infinity war which was awesome, I walked back with Jaune to give Pyrrha a treat. I decided to share my leftover popcorn from the movie theater with her since she didn't go with us. As we were walking up to her, I saw my other mom, Sonic talking to Pyrrha.

"Pyrrha?" Sonic said. "Oh, hey Sonic," Pyrrha said. "I heard what happened with Scourge. Are you doing okay?" Pyrrha said. "Yeah, I guess. He rapes me and abuses me all the time. So I guess I'm used to it. Shadow was pissed after Scourge raped me the way he did." Sonic said. "That's awful. I'm sorry you and Lana had to go through that. No one should ever have to go through that, that's horrible." Pyrrha said.

"I know. It's just something I have to deal with, and so does Lana." Sonic said. "You two need to get out of that relationship. Now." Pyrrha said. "No!" Sonic yelled, which shocked me. Sonics never really yelled at anyone before. Pyrrha was shocked too.

"I'm sorry... I just... bad things will happen if I divorce him." Sonic said. "Oh..." Pyrrha said. Meanwhile, Scourge was listening in on the conversation with a smirk on his face.

"So what, you sing here or something?" Sonic asked. "O-Oh, it's..." Pyrrha stuttered. "You worried about the match tomorrow?" Sonic said. "I..." Pyrrha stuttered again. "Look, you got this. Lana does too. You shouldn't let your feelings get to you because of what happened to Yang. I say believe with your friends, including me to help you." Sonic said. "Thanks," Pyrrha said. "He-heh, no problem," Sonic said. "Sonic!" Scourge yelled. "Oh. Scourge is here, gotta go." Sonic said.

Sonic leaves and runs towards Scourge as Jaune and I walked up to Pyrrha. I watch Sonic and Scourge's conversation with concern.

"There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you." Scourge said. "What? You gonna rape me again?" Sonic said. Scourge slaps Sonic. "No, idiot. I think you've already learned your lesson. I just wanna spend some time with you." Scourge said. "O-okay," Sonic said. "Also have you seen Lana? I need to have a word with her." Scourge said. I hid behind Jaune so Scourge didn't have a chance of seeing me. I did not want to talk to him.

"No Master, I haven't seen her," Sonic said. "Okay. Come on, let's go." Scourge said. Scourge took Sonic's hand and led him away from this place.

"It's okay Lana, he's gone," Jaune said. "Okay," I said. Jaune hands Pyrrha the Cotten candy. "It's no green goop, but I think it still might do some good," Jaune said. "Um... right. Thank you, Jaune." Pyrrha said. Pyrrha takes the Cotten candy. "And you can have some popcorn from the movies. You missed out on a great premiere day. Heh, Dad scolded me for eating all my candy." I said. Ren and Nora walks near us.

"Uh... come on, Ren! Let's go back to the fairgrounds! I'll win you another stuffed animal! I'll win another one for Lana too!" Nora said as she dragged Ren back to the carnival. Jaune and I sit next to Pyrrha. I was slowly chewing on my popcorn as Jaune was talking to Pyrrha.

"You were the first person to ever believe in me. You know that, right? Even when I told my parents I was going to Beacon, they told me not to worry if I ended up having to move back home. How depressing is that?" Jaune said. "I'm sure... they didn't mean-" Pyrrha gasps and drops her Cotten candy when Jaune was holding her hand.

"I guess I'm trying to say that... You've always been there for me. Even when I didn't deserve it. And I can tell there's something on your mind, so... I dunno... How can I help?" Jaune asked. Pyrrha lies on Jaune's shoulder. "You're already doing it," Pyrrha said. I also laid my head on Pyrrha's shoulder. It stayed silent for a few minutes, then Pyrrha spoke up.

"Jaune?" Pyrrha asked. "Hmm?" Jaune said. Pyrrha gets up from Jaune's shoulder, and Pyrrha gently pushes me off of hers.

"Mom? What's wrong? You've been acting weird all day." I said. "I don't know what to do," Pyrrha said. "W-What do you mean?" Jaune asked. "Do you guys believe in Destiny?" Pyrrha asked. "Um... I dunno. I guess that depends on how you view it." Jaune said. "When I think of destiny... I don't think of a predetermined fate you can't escape. But rather... some sort of final goal. Something you work towards your entire life." Pyrrha explained.

"Okay, uh... yeah. I can see that, sure." Jaune said. "Well... what would you do if something came along that you never expected. Something that had the potential to stand between you and your destiny." Pyrrha said. "Like... what?" Jaune asked. "I'm confused," I said. "Or what if you could suddenly fulfill your destiny in an instant, but at the cost of who you were?" Pyrrha said.

"Pyrrha, you're not making any sense," Jaune said. Pyrrha stands up. "None of this makes sense! This isn't how things were supposed to happen!" Pyrrha shouted. Jaune and I stand up. "I'm sorry! P-please, I-I'm just trying to understand what's wrong." Jaune said. I began to feel nervous.

"I've always felt as though I was destined to become a huntress. To protect the world. And it becomes increasingly clear to me that my feelings were right. But... I don't know if I can do it." Pyrrha said. "Of course, you can. The Pyrrha Nikos I know would never back down from a challenge. And if you really believe it's your destiny to save the world, you can't let anything stand in your way." Jaune said. Jaune smiled, but Pyrrha put her hands over her mouth and begins to cry. Oh no.

"Pyrrha?" Jaune said. "Stop," Pyrrha said. "Did I say something wrong?" Jaune asked, worriedly. "Daddy, I think we should leave her be," I said. "Stop!" Pyrrha yelled. Pyrrha uses her semblance and throws Jaune into the wall, causing the wall to break. I gasped. Sonic and Scourge were watching in the grass. "What?' Sonic said.

"Daddy!" I cried. Pyrrha looked horrified. Although I was angry at her for what she did, I could tell she didn't mean to. "Jaune!" Pyrrha cried. Pyrrha began to cry. I helped Jaune up from the floor.

"I'm... I'm sorry!" Pyrrha sobbed. Pyrrha runs off and burst into tears. "Pyrrha, wait!" Jaune called. "Daddy? Are you okay?" I asked. "What did I say?" Jaune said to himself.

"Oh no, Jaune. Pyrrha is going to be the one to stop this crisis by herself. No! I won't let her die by that! I promise Jaune, you'll both see each other!" Sonic said. "Don't worry about it, Sonic. It's just a normal couple's fight, they'll get over it." Scourge said. "No! I need to save her!" Sonic shouted. Sonic ran off to find Ruby.

"Damn it, I should keep a leash on that kid," Scourge muttered to himself. I got startled when Scourge, my husband walked up to me.

"Come with me, Lana. I need to have a word with you." He said. Scourge took my hand and escorted me to the grassy area. "What is this about, Master?" I asked. I screamed when Scourge shocked me. "Look, you're lucky I'm giving you another chance to compete in the tournament with team JNPR despite what happened at the tournament last time. So I am giving you a chance to redeem yourself." Scourge said.

"Y-you are?" I said. "Yes. But another slip-up and you're done for. Understood?!" Scourge shouted in a dangerous tone. "Yes, Master. But what do you mean by I'm done for?" I asked worriedly. "It won't be pretty. I might kill you. No, I'll rape you in front of your family. Then I will kill you."

I whimpered when Scourge got out a knife. I screamed when Scourge shocked me again. "Now come on. We need to get you to the tournament." Scourge said. Scourge took my hand again as we walked back to campus. When we got back to campus, we waited in line for a ship to take us to the tournament.

Scourge and I found Sonic and Ruby waiting in line as well. Scourge walked up to Sonic.

"Why did you run off like that?" Scourge asked. "I'm sorry Master, I'm just worried about Pyrrha," Sonic said. Scourge sighed. "You know what? It's fine, I'll let it go this time. We need to get Lana to the Vital Festival anyways." Scourge said. "Wait, you're actually letting her compete?" Sonic said. "Yes. I'm giving her another chance to redeem herself after her little slip-up last time." Scourge said. "Huh?" Sonic said, confused.

We looked around and saw Velvet who was taking pictures with her camera.

"Hey, isn't that Velvet?" Sonic said. "Yeah. She's really nice." Ruby said. "I don't think you really met her before, have you?" Ruby said. "No, not really," Sonic said. "Ruby, Lana, how are you doing?" Velvet asked. "Hey Velvet," I said. "Hi, Velvet. What are you doing?" Ruby asked. "Oh, you know, just working on my photography. Oh, I've never met you before." Velvet said. "Same here. I'm Sonic." Sonic said. "Scourge." Scourge said. "I'm Velvet. It's nice to meet you guys. Oh, you guys wanna see my pictures?" Velvet asked. "Sure," Sonic said. We looked at the pictures, but it didn't show the face.

"That's... better," Ruby said. "Yeah," Sonic said. "I'm sorry to hear about your sister. Is she doing okay?" Velvet said. "Yeah, she's... fine. Heh, thanks." Ruby said. "I think it's awful what people are saying about her. Yang's such a nice person." Velvet said. "Well, I'm glad someone thinks so," Ruby said. "Most people don't know what it's like on the battlefield. I mean, even experienced fighters can get scared and start seeing things. If it happened to Coco, it can happen to anyone." Velvet said.

"Wait, did you say Coco?" Sonic said. "Coco?" Ruby said, also confused. "Yeah. She swore she saw Yatsu with her in the forest during the fight with Emerald and Mercury, but he never even made it out of the geyser fields. Stress-induced hallucinations, apparently." Velvet said. "That must have been what happened. Mercury must've tricked people into thinking stuff that's not there. And I'm afraid they're still here." Sonic said. "Yeah..." Ruby said. Velvet takes another photo of us. We got startled.

"Ooh! Sorry!" Velvet said.

When we got to the Vital Festival, people were cheering for the final rounds. Sonic, Scourge, and Ruby got in their seats. Ruby gasped suddenly and looked in the distance.

"Ruby? What's wrong?" Sonic said. "Emerald's here?" Ruby said. Emerald sees Sonic and Ruby as they both got out of their seats. Scourge just sat down in his seat and said nothing. Sonic and Ruby goes into the custom room and quickly walked into the hallways.

"All right, it's now time to begin the randomization process for our next fight!" Oobleck announced. As they continued walking, they were surprised to see Mercury walking just fine.

"Mercury?" Ruby said. "I should've known you and Emerald were up to no good!" Sonic shouted. "It looks like our first contender is... Penny Polendina from Atlas!" Professor Port announced. "What are you doing?" Ruby asked. "And her appointees will be... Pyrrha Nikos and Lana Rose from Beacon!" Professor Port announced. Ruby's eyes widened with horror and Sonic grew angry.

"You!" Sonic yelled. "No!" Ruby cried. "Ooh, Polarity and lightning VS metal. That could be bad." Mercury said. "And someone who's not gonna let you ruin the match and harm our daughter!" Sonic yelled. "Oh, I'm not the only one who's doing it," Mercury said. "Oh no, Emerald is in on this after all!" Sonic cried. "Bingo," Mercury said. Ruby tries to get her Cresent Rose but she realizes she didn't have it with her. Luckily, Sonic has his powers. Sonic charged up his powers.

"You're not gonna get away with this!" Sonic yelled. "He he! See if you try!" Mercury shouted. Mercury and Sonic got in their battle stances.

Meanwhile, Pyrrha and I stood face to face with Penny, who laughed excitedly as the stage turned into a circle and rose up. I held onto Pyrrha's hand tightly. We were both nervous. I'm glad I wasn't doing this match alone.

"Ahaha!" Nora laughed as she stood up from her seat. Nora taps Ren with her arm. "Yaaay..." Ren cheered. "Yes!" Nora said excitedly.
