hey, so yeah I started digital art and totly took over everyt
Cell just followed behind Majin Buu, annoyed at Babadi. So far all he had done is try causing mayhem in the city they had came across so far. Well, that and Buu turned everybody into candy to eat. Cell found it ironic that despite he sucked people dry in his imperfect form years ago, he found it rather disgusting what Buu was doing.
"Buu, slow down! It's hard to hold on! WAAAHHH-"
Babadi went flying forward as Buu had suddenly stopped, the momentum sending Babadi off of him. Cell just floated next to Buu annoyed as he watched Babadi come flying back.
"This can't possibly be your grand plan?" Cell asked him as he returned.
"And what exactly do you mean by that?" He asked annoyed.
"I thought you were going to revive this fat blob here to rule the universe, yet you seem to be just toying around instead." Cell sounded very annoyed.
"All in due time I assure you." Babadi smirked and started laughing to himself.
"I've spent eons waiting for this. So forgive me for having a little bit of fun and taking things slowly. Why, how would you handle this?" Babadi asked, curious what Cells idea of it would be.
Cell looked both directions subtly, until he looked off into the distance. Buu and Babadi looked in the same direction, but neither saw anything.
"Follow me." Cell smirked and flew off in the direction he had been facing, Babadi following on Buu's back.
Cell soon arrived at a large city. He hovered over it, watching as cars and planes and people went about their business. Buu stopped near him as well, seeming happy to have another city to play with.
"Okay Cell, what are we doing here?" Babadi asked.
"What good is ruling the universe by them fearing you if you don't even give them anything to be afraid of?" he smirked at them.
"Well I must admit you do have a point there. So what exactly do you have in mind?"
"You can project into peoples mind, yes? Do it and I'll show you how it's done." Cell smirked
Videl suddenly jolted from her sleep. Her adrenaline had spiked, causing her heart rate to shoot up instantly. She looked over and saw Gohana breathing deeply.
"It was just a dream." Videl told herself, and got up to kiss Gohana's forehead.
Videl looked back down to Gohana's stomach area. There wasn't even a scar, well not that she could see. Other than the one on her shoulder being decently noticeable, the rest were not as dark. How come this one didn't scar? Didn't Dendei heal her both times?
Videl turned as she hear the door opened as Chi Chi come in with a small plate of food.
"Oh, you're already awake! How are you sweetie?" She asked and walked over, placing the bowl on the desk.
Videl looked back over to Gohana, and her nightmare flashed in her mind again. Gohana was impaled again by Cell. But this time she wasn't just stabbed, she was sliced in half. No way Dendei could help with something like that!
"Just a nightmare." Videl finally said.
"She'll be fine." Chi Chi grabbed the chair and sat next to Videl, placing a hand on her shoulder to try and calm her.
"It's just…seeing her like this…" Videl teared up a bit.
"Videl, Dendei said she's fine. And Piccolo has a plan. I trust them both when they say she'll wake up."
"Where is Piccolo anyway? I know Raina is with Bulma. Wait, how long was I out?"
"A few hours. I just wish Gohana would wake up. And Piccolo is in the time room. Something about figuring out something to give Gohana an edge." Chi Chi said having not been told what he had in mind.
"That's it! The time chamber! We can take Gohana in there so she can wake up sooner to us!" Videl suddenly had a bright idea.
"Piccolo and Dendei both said that wasn't a good idea. I brought it up before he went in. Something about the harshness of it even in just the base room."
Videl figured she was talking about the reduced oxygen. Yeah, that may not be a good idea when Gohana is trying to recover. Still, maybe they could take her to those medi chambers at Capsule Corp? No, Gohana was already fully healed. She was in a coma and she didn't know if that would work. From what Gohana's said about bring inside one, they were usually still awake. Would a senzu bean work?
"Right now we just have to hope she wakes up soon." Chi Chi finally said breaking the silence.
"How? How can you handle this Chi Chi?" Videl started tearing up a bit.
Chi Chi looked at her, unsure what to even say. Because she didn't even know herself! But she had to say something to try and help her get through this! This wasn't the first time going through a crisis.
"To be honest, I don't handle it well. But what choice do I have? My family wants to protect everyone!"
"Greetings people of Earth!"
Videl was instantly on her feet on high alert again, as Chi Chi looked around confused.
"I am speaking to you directly through your minds. And as you will soon see, you are all already as good as dead!"
"What is this?" Chi Chi asked, looking around.
"I believe I don't need to introduce to you all Cell." As he flashed Cell into their minds.
"What is he doing?" Videl asked worried.
"But now let me introduce you to Majin Buu." He quickly changed the image in everyone's mind to Buu, with the City behind him.
"He may not look like much, but I assure you he is. And I want to thank that Son Gohana and Vegeta for giving me all the power I needed to revive him! But they are both now dead, and no one can stop us now!"
Cell floated there, arms crossed, and smirked a bit. Good, Babadi got what he meant earlier about giving them something to fear. Though Cell was surprised when he could sort of hear people. While he couldn't recognize anyone, he figured whatever this mental link Babadi was sharing with everybody on Earth worked both ways. But he picked up on two distinct patterns.
Many had heard what Cell said earlier, about Hercule lying and that Gohana killed him. It seemed many believed that. But the other side, be that they didn't watch the tournament or didn't believe him, kept shouting that Hercule would save everybody from Cell again, and Buu.
This seemed to annoy Cell even more than it did at the tournament when he learned this! He glared over at Babadi who was still talking to everybody.
"Babadi, can they hear me!" Cell shouted at him, not caring he was interrupting him.
"Huh, yes. Why?" he sounded a but annoyed at being interrupted.
"LISTEN HERE YOU FUCKING PATHETIC EARTHLINGS! That idiot you call Hercule did not kill me! Son Gohana was the one that killed me! And now that I have exacted my revenge and killed your last hope, be thankful I do not destroy the damn Earth right here and now!"
This got almost everyone to be quiet, even Babadi and Buu were staring at him in surprise at his sudden outburst.
"Wow, this must really strike a nerve for him." Babadi said to no one in particular.
"Son Gohana was the only chance the Earth had to survive, and now with her dead, there is absolutely nobody that can save you. ESPECIALLY THAT FUCKING WEAKLING HERCULE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!"
Cell let his energy surge, not even holding back from his anger! Babadi didn't let the connection go, as everyone on Earth watched Cell power up, as the whole planet started shaking a bit. Babadi could even feel Cell as he powered up, and made sure everyone else on Earth could to. While he couldn't sense actually how strong Cell was like Cell and those fighters seemed to be able to, he could still more the less feel it. And he made sure that everybody on Earth was forced to watch and feel it!
Cell finally calmed down enough to stop powering up, as he started panting from the struggle of powering up so much so fast.
"Oh and fret not people of Earth. Majin Buu here is even more powerful! Buu, go have some fun with the people down there!"
Buu quickly smiled with glee and quickly turned to the city and thrust his hands out. At first it didn't seem like anything happened, bit soon Babadi and Cell could clearly see everybody floating in the air, screaming. Cell could now see many trying to hold onto dear life to things attached to the ground. Not that it did them much good though.
"You turn into candy!" Buu finally shouted to everyone as a beam or neon pink light shot from his antenna.
The whole world watched helplessly as they saw people and animals turn into round candy. How was that possible? Many were in shock and disbelief at what they were seeing in their minds. It was almost as if everything else around them stopped. What made it worse was when they saw Buu start sucking in the air, causing the people, now candy, to fly into his mouth.
Cell was still a little weirded out the way Buu 'ate people. He still preferred the good old fashioned suck them dry one at a time. Slower, yes. But even better at instilling fear into everyone as they helplessly tried to escape.
Buu patted his stomach after a few moments of chewing the candy, as he then looked down at the now silent, empty city. He quickly flew down, causing Babadi to be a bit confused. Still, he wasn't going to let the moment of shock be lost.
"As you can see, this is what awaits each and every one of you! Feel free to try and escape if you want! It's not like it will do you any good."
"Hercule will save us!"
Babadi was a bit surprised at someone shouting back at him. But he quickly found who it was and focused on him. With a smile he just started laughing.
"Please don't make me laugh. What can a mere human do that those two from earlier couldn't?" Babadi wanted to make am example of him to the world.
What should he do to him? He could cause him to blow up? Or better yet liquefy his organs! It wasn't like everyone would be dead eventually.
His train of thought was ended when Cell was suddenly in front of the man, glaring down at him. Babadi recalled the outburst just prior, and since Buu was currently occupied with whatever he was doing I. The city, he decided to see what Cell had in mind.
"What did I just say?" Cell calmly yet menacingly threatened him as he glared down at him.
Everyone saw as Cell picked the man up by his neck effortless.
"Hercule did not kill me!" he grabbed the man's upper arm and closed his fist, basically crushing his arm off as he screamed in pain.
"A pathetic Human did not kill me!" he screamed louder ad repeated the same with his other arm.
"SON GOHANA KILLED ME! IT TOOK A SAIYAN WARRIOR TO KILL ME! NOT A PATHETIC WEAKLING OF A HUMAN!" Cell's own pride, thanks to Vegeta and his Saiyan DNA, were getting the best of him, as he pushed his hand into his torso as the man's eyes quickly faded to white as his heart was crushed.
Cell pulled his now blood soaked hand put and out of pettiness obliterated the man's head with a simple punch, dropping the corpse to the ground as he looked over at the people around him. He could see everyone terrified. He watched in amazement as a woman and a child ran up to the person he just obliterated. He was done with this stupidity and saw the child in tears. Holding his hand out he aimed at the woman and blasted at her, leaving only her lower half left.
"Do I make myself clear?" Cell scowled at nobody in particular, as he teleported back to Babadi.
At this, nobody else even said anything. Mostly because they were to scared. This pleased Babadi as he cut the psychic connection.
Videl looked on horror at what she just watched, what everyone watched. She looked over at Chi Chi, who looked even worse! Had she not seen brutality like this?
"Mom!" Goten running into the room.
Goten ran up to her and then glancing got Gohana, still sleeping On the bed.
"What do we do?" He tried asking her.
Chi Chi didn't know what to say to Goten to calm him down. She wasn't even sure what to do herself, as she lightly looked over to Videl.
"I don't know yet." Chi Chi was honest with him.
"Piccolo will know what to do!" Goten sounded enthusiastically.
"He's in the time chamber now. When he comes out we will figure out what to do."
Gohana stirred slightly and everyone looked over, thinking she was awake, but they saw her like she was trapped in a nightmare. Individual hairs where shimmering blond, as she grippe d the sheets.
"C….Cell."
'No, was she forced to watch that as well?' Videl quickly realized Gohana must have seen all of that as well!
"Chi Chi, Piccolo must have had a plan! What is he doing?"
"I don't rely know. He said something about trying to figure something out that would help Gohana defeat them while Raina and Bulma collect the Dragon Balls."
"Something to help Gohana?"
"He couldn't examine it, but I trust him. We have to wait. Either until he comes out, or Gohana wakes up." Chi Chi said, hoping he instincts to trust Piccolo were correct.
Raina trembled as she was frozen in her seat from watching what happened to that poor man and his wife. Yes watching Buu turn everyone I to candy so scared her but that was nothing compared to what Cell did! And she was ready terrified of Dabura from earlier.
Bulma was also in shock, but she steeled her focus for now. Piccolo gave them a mission, and they would finish it! They were almost done!
"Raina sweetie, are you going to be okay?" she asked, placing her hand on her shoulder.
Raina finally came out from her trance like state and looked over. She could tell how calm Bulma was, or at least appeared to be. And this helped her calm down. After all, Bulma was just an ordinary human who couldn't defend herself if they were caught! But she could, she didn't want to be afraid! Just like Bulma! Just like Gohana!
"Yeah, I'm okay." She finally managed to get tout, a little shakily.
Bulma could tell that she was afraid, despite trying hard to not show it. But deep down, she knew Raina was just putting on a brave face and trying to be brave. In a weird way, right now she was reminded of her time on Namek with Gohana! She was younger than Raina is now, and less battle happy than Raina as well. Still, she was just a child.
"You know, you can be scared and brave at the same time." Bulma tried calming her down.
"What? But that doesn't make any sense! How can someone be scared, and still be brave?" Raina asked confused.
"Do you think Gohana was scared when she fought Cell? Both times?"
"No, she looked like she wasn't."
"Let me tell you something Raina. Gohana was probably terrified."
This shook Raina, how was Gohana scared? Surely if she was fighting that monster, she wasn't scared of him!
"But she was still fighting him! She wouldn't have if she was scared!"
Bulma just smiled a little bit at her innocence and softly ruffled her hair.
"Being brave isn't about being scared. It's being scared but still facing your fears. Cell caused a lot of emotional damage to Gohana seven years ago. Stuff she's only in the last few years been a le to move past. Since meeting Videl even! I can only imagine him somehow being revived, it brought back all that fear."
Raina could tell that Bulma was being serious about this. But it did seem hard to believe. She of course knew Gohana had her fragile moments over the years! But they were typically always centered around their dad. She just never thought that Cell was linked to it. That's when it hit her.
"That must be why she seemed so angry when we showed up." Raina looked down at the ground, now realizing the moment they had shown up Gohana must have been more scared than ever. She even punched them to get them to listen!
"From what I've been told, yeah. And thinking you both had died pushed her over the edge into Super Saiyan 3."
"Wait…3? Then why didn't she do that before we got there?" Raina looked up, having not been told about this yet and remembering she was at 2.
"You'll have to ask Piccolo when we get back. Or Gohana if she's awake. From what little Piccolo told me when telling me the plan, Gohana learned it a few years ago. But she couldn't figure out how to transform quickly enough to make it viable in combat until that rage boost she had seeing you both almost die"
Raina was glad she was at least able to help a little bit. Though in a very morbid way. Still, she knew full well Gohana almost died even with this new Super Saiyan 3 form. She shuddered to think what would have happened if she hadn't had that boost to transform.
"Do you think Gohana's awake?" she asked.
"I don't know kiddo. I haven't heard from Chi Chi, and I asked her to keep me posted on anything that happens."
Raina looked down again. Though she was feeling a bit better, she was still scared. And worried. Though in a weird way also eager. She had helped, somewhat. And she was helping in another way now.
"Maybe I can learn 3 as well and help out!" Raina looked determined.
Bulma couldn't help but smile at the shift in Raina. She looked rather sad this entire time since they left the lookout yesterday. It had been an entire day, and they still have one more Dragon Ball left to get. It didn't help they were still a few hours to get to it. And then half a day to get back to the lookout at this speed. They couldn't risk Raina flying and giving them away. Bulma only wished that they would all survive long enough to even summon Shenron. As weird and stupid as this plan of Piccolos and Kabito 's was, she trusted them.
Well, she trusted Piccolo enough to trust Kabito's plan.
Kabito just past the time he had by staring off into the distance when he wasn't pacing back and forth. Though he did make some interactions with the others. He still refused to explain anything until Supreme Kai was revived.
He was currently keeping track of what was happening with Buu and Cell. He shuddered to think that Majin Buu was even stronger than they feared! Even Supreme Kai was shocked. Did it have to do with how much energy they absorbed?
'No, it couldn't be just the amount. It has to be the type.' He thought to himself. There was no other explanation in his mind.
He knew as soon as Piccolo came out of that room, he would need to have a chat with him. Whenever he came out. Didn't he explicitly stated he would be in there for a day? It had been a bit more than one Earth day if he was correct.
"Hey, Kabito?"
He turned and looked down, noticing Krillin .
"What is it?" he asked calmly.
"Well, were just worried about what's going to happen. I mean, Gohana still hasn't woken up, and Piccolo still isn't out yet either. We're sitting ducks up here!"
"If Cell was going to come here, he would have by now." He calmly said, choosing to believe that.
In truth, he wasn't sure. Their energy could be sensed, at least to Cell. He was fairly confident Babadi couldn't sense ki, just magic. And as for Buu, he had no idea.
"Let's at least wait for Piccolo to come out." He stated, guessing that he would probably tell everyone else anyway. And he figured Piccolo, despite his limited knowledge, could explain it better to them
Almost everyone else had been asleep when Piccolo went in. Except Chi Chi, Dendei, and Po Po. Obviously Raina and Bulma had been awake and Bulma knew of his plan. But they were not here right now.
"Are you sure?" Krillin asked.
Kabito just turned around and looked out once again. This gave Krillin his answer. He was still worried, but he knew right now they had to wait for Gohana to wake up. Or at the very least until Bulma and Raina got back with the Dragon Balls.
"Do you think reviving Shin would really help us?" he asked, not sure when Shin could even do that Vegeta and Gohana couldn't.
"It is the only guarantee we have." He stated.
This wasn't helping either. If this Buu was that big of a threat, could they even do anything? They had been up here for almost a day and a half at this point! And the wait alone was what was bothering Krillin the most.
Krillin and Kabito quickly turned around as they felt Piccolo's ki. Krillin quickly ran towards the main building, while Kabito was just standing in shock. He could feel just how much Piccolo had progressed, and it was just over a year to him? The intense sudden ki arrival woke up Tien and Yamcha as well, who woke everyone else up.
Piccolo slowly made his way out of the building and found everyone there. Except Bulma and Raina, who he immediately was able to feel Raina on the other side of the planet.
"So we haven't revived Shin yet I see." He glanced slightly in a different direction.
"And Cell and Buu are still running around."
After everything he was training the last year, he was even more worried about Buu. No wonder Gohana couldn't handle him, he had more power than he seemed.
"I take it Gohana still isn't awake yet?" he asked, noticing Videl looking down.
"No, and she's talking in her sleep as well. I'm worried about her! She keeps mentioning Cell. And Buu." Her voice showed her worry.
"I wouldn't worry about that Videl. Chances are she's still able to feel everything that's going and seeing it in her sleep."
That would make sense! Videl thought about it and it was always when she felt either Buu or Cells energy terrorizing a city! Was she really able to feel that?
"Anyway, Chichi. Can you get in touch with Bulma, see how their progress is going?"
Tien walked up to Piccolo. Though he couldn't figure out why, he could tell that he had changed.
"I take it you figured out what you went in there for?" he asked.
"Not fully. Though I have a better grasp on it. Honestly, Gohana always had a better grasp on this thanks to needing it for Super Saiyan 3. I'm sure she'll be able to figure it out better in less time."
Tien nodded and then turned back towards Krillin. He noticed this and nodded as well. "I know were not really able to help, but Krillin, 18 and I are going to spend a year in there."
"What? How can three of you be in there., it can only hold enough-
"I can survive off of little or no food just fine. Just sucks a bit." 18 knew where he was going and answered the question for him.
"Oh then in that case sure. Honestly I don't know how you two can help, bit will take all the help we can!" Piccolo said.
Tien and Krillin knew what he meant, that he meant no offense. Just stating a fact. Still, they wanted to have a better shot.
"We only plan to stay in for a few months actually. Just to get our edge back." Krillin answered.
Piccolo thought about it for a moment and had to admit, despite the energy gap, Krillin and Tien had always been helpful. Krillin especially never backing down. He was glad they still had that!
"Alright. If anything happens, I'll come and get you guys."
Bulma walked along the trail, Dragon radar in hand. They were on the last one, but for some reason it seemed a little bit off. The Dragon Ball should be right here, but they couldn't see it.
"Do you think it got covered up?" Raina asked, noticing the boulders around them did look like they weren't always like that. A rockslide maybe?
"Maybe, this place isn't too isolated either." Bulma said glancing over at the house not too far off.
Bulma noticed a car headed their way, Raina glancing over as well. They didn't want to be rude as they guessed they had landed on someone's property. And Raina could handle any danger anyway so neither of them were worried.
They patiently waited until the car stopped a bit from them. They watched as two men got out of the car, and Bulma noticed they must be ranchers!
"Afternoon." The younger one said, Bulma and returning it as Raina bowed.
"May I ask why you landed on our property and are sniffing about?" the older gentleman asked.
"Well, I'm sorry about that gentleman. But we're looking for something." Bulma tried being vague yet honest.
"Uh huh. And may I inquire what you are looking for?" he didn't seem hostile or anything.
"Were looking for something to stop Cell and Majin Buu!" Raina blurted out.
They both looked at each other, than back at the girls. Surely they must be joking, right? They saw it, what Cell and Buu had done to that city. During the tournament! No one can stop them!
"With all do respect, nothing can. Now I ask you to get off of our property." He said to them rather sternly.
"But, we just need what's probab-"
"As I said, you are trespassing on my land and I am asking you politely to leave." He interrupted Bulma, his voice slightly raised.
"But, under this rubble, we just need-" Bulma continued to try reasoning.
"Ma'am, if I have to say it again, I will get you off by force!" He and his son reached I to their car for their rifles.
Bulma was surprised they were taking it this far though not fully. Still what could they do?
They all suddenly shielded their eyes as Raina went Super Saiyan, dust flying everywhere. The two men recognized this somehow. That girl with Cell from earlier at the tournament!
"We need that Dragon Ball to stop Cell and Buu!" she shouted, more like a child wanting their way.
"No way. You're just like her!" the younger one said in shock, noticing how similar she looked!
Bulma looked over very worried! The entire point of traveling via jet was to avoid being detected flying! But Raina just transformed? Wouldn't Cell easily pick up on this!
"Raina! Why?" Bulma asked.
"Don't worry! Nee chan taught me to transform without spiking my energy." Raina looked up at her, Bulma sighing with relief.
"You said…you can stop them?" The older racer asked.
"Yes, my big sister can stop them! I just know it! We just need to find the Dragon Ball that should be around here."
Both of them looked at one another confused. They saw Cell and that girl in the tournament, everybody did! And here was another girl would could do that same thing, going Super whatever he called it right before she went blond? And this girl did the same thing.
"Pop's, I ki da believe what they are saying. And the blue haired one does look familiar."
He looked over at Bulma, squinting his eyes in thought. Yeah, his son was right, she did look familiar. He looked down in thought, not only trying to remember why she looked familiar, but what to do. He noticed the logo on the center steering wheel and looked back up to her, it hit him.
"You're…Bulma of Capsule Corp! How are you involved in this?" he looked shocked.
"Look we don't have much time. My friends and family need us to return with what we're looking for!" she tried defusing the situation.
"Sure, I don't know what this Dragon Ball you're talking about is. What's it look like?"
Raina quickly went back into the jet and returned a few moments later. She walked up to the man and held up the four star ball.
"It looks like this! But the one we're looking for has only one star."
They both looked at it, puzzled. They had never seen anything like this before! How would they know it was here.
"Sorry Mrs. Bulma, I cant say I've seen anything like that before." He spoke up after trying to think. He still wasn't fully sure if he believed them, but it was better than the alternative.
"It should be right here, but there's just this giant rocks here." Bulma clocked the button again, noting it should be there!
"Oh, this wasn't always like this. A bit more than a year ago something slammed into the side of this rock pillar, and, well this used to be a small water hole. Not that big, bit enough for a very small water fountain."
"It must be underneath all the rubble!" Bulma felt like am idiot for not thinking of that.
"We'd be more than happy to help you move the rocks if you don't mind coming back in a few days. We don't keep the equipment strong enough to move this on site."
"Oh no need." Raina walked over to the rock, finding a good spit and gripped it as she easily pulled it up, holding it up like an atlas stone.
Both of them watched in shock seeing this tiny girl effortlessly move what easily should be several tons! Raina gently placed it down. Next to her, but out of the way so she could search. She moved a fee more Boulders before seeing a sharp orange glint in the sun.
"Bulma! I FOUND IT!" she raved over and pulled the Dragon Ball from between the rocks and held it over her head triumphantly.
"Good job kiddo! Let's hurry back! It's about a half a day for us to get back!"
"How did she?"
Bulma almost forgot about them for the briefest of moments. But she so wasn't too sure what to say. But before she could get anything out, Raina went back up to them both and bowed.
"Please don't tell anybody." She stood back up and looked up at them.
They both looked at her, Bulma as well. Guess it hadn't fully sunk in with her yet that the entire world knew about Gohana. And if they got through this, no. When they got through this, they couldn't hid it.
"Don't…worry." They finally said.
Bulma looked back as her phone started beeping. She quickly went to the ship and picked it up, praying it wasn't bad news.
"Hello?"
"Bulma, thank goodness you answered." Chi Chi spoke. "Piccolo is finally out from the chamber. And we wanted a update on your end."
"Good news then, we just got the last Dragon and we're about to head out."
"Bulma, how long till you can get here? It feels like you're both on the opposite side of the planet." Piccolo interrupted them.
"What? You can still sense Raina?" Bulma asked, worried even though Raina said it was fine.
"Yeah, but only because I'm so familiar with it. She's hiding it pretty well bit it's not at zero. Just feels like a regular person. Why?" he asked.
"Oh, no its nothing then. At top speed it would take us about ten hours to get back."
"Okay, but remember to stay safe above all else! We cant risk Cell finding you both. You got that Raina?" he asked, noticing Raina was now behind Bulma.
"Yeah, I got it. Um, is Gohana awake yet?" she asked.
"Unfortunately no. Though it does seem more like she's not in a comma, more like sleeping off the nearly dead thing. Videl said she's tossing and turning like she's just asleep now. And Dendei agrees, she's just recovering from exhaustion."
Raina was very glad to hear this. She let out a relieved sigh. Her being more asleep and less coma was the best thing she'd heard since all of this happened.
"Anyway hurry up! Kabito says we need to revive Supreme Kai as soon as we can." He reiterated.
"But what goes will that do? If Gohana and Vegeta didn't stand a chance against them, and he was vastly weaker than they are, how does he help."
Piccolo just glanced away from the screen and turned to walk away
"Just hurry up and get here."
Bulma got into the pilots seat as Raina in the copilot. Chi Chi looked over to Raina. She was having a hard time being away from her, bit she knew this was how Raina was helping.
"You doing okay sweetie?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Well, as fine as I could be I guess."
"Anyway Chi, will be there as soon. As we can!" Bulma turned the craft on before cutting the call, as they head off back towards the lookout.
Videl sat at the bedside. She was feeling g a bit better, seeing Gohana curled up on her side like she usually slept. She could see her wild bangs and her face poking out from the covers. If it wasn't for the dire situation they were all in, no, even in the direction situation, she felt at peace just watching her.
She just sat there eating the food Po Po had brought for her. They didn't know when she would wake up so they made sure to have a senzu bean for her. She would most definitely be hungry. But everyone se needed food. Still, Videl was worried.
What if they don't get through this? And what if they did? What would happen next? The whole world knew about them now, they couldn't hide it even if they wanted to! And her dad.
"DAD!"
Videl quickly ran to her backpack and started looking for her phone! How could she have forgotten to make sure her dad was okay! Finally finding it, she noticed she had never turned it back on! It had been turned off since the tournament?
Turning it on, Videl could hear her heartbeat as she watches the phone boot up. And it was taking forever. When it finally turned back on, she started worrying. Over a hundred missed calls? And sk many messages!
She quickly realized most messages from Sharpner and Erasa, but almost every al was from her dad. She quickly hit the button, hoping someone would pick up. She didn't even care who!
"VID!" she heard Sharpners voice answer.
"Sharpner? What's going on, why did you answer my dad's phone?" She quickly went out to the hall to not disturb Gohana.
"I…normally wouldn't but I saw it was you who was calling. Where are you? Your father's worried sick about you! And the whole City is just I chaos and confusion!"
"Wait, what's going on?"
"After that….view, of Cell at the tournament, and then earlier. The city is an chaos and everyone's panicking. They're even surrounding your place."
"Wait, why my place?"
"Apparently it's a mix. Some demanding he save us and the other demanding answers to his lies."
Videl knew this would happen eventually, so did Gohana. They had even talked about what to do when it happens. But why did it have to happen like this?
"Are you all safe?" she asked.
"Yeah. Erasa is asleep in your room. Hercule hadn't slept since the morning of the tournament, he passed out from exhaustion over worrying about you."
"Sorry, but I'm safe. I'm at the look out.. Piccolo, Krillin, and everyone's here. Should one of us come get you? She asked.
"No, I'll stay here as I can protect Erasa and your dad. Or at least get us out in a hurry. I may not battle bad guys on a semi daily basis but I'm still one of Gohana's students after all."
This helped her calm down a little bit
"Just, when dad wakes up. Tell him I'm with Gohana and her family. I'm safe, but him to not worry about me!"
"You got it. How is Gohana by the way? I haven't felt her ki since she fought those two monsters."
Videl didn't know exactly how to answer. But she knew he deserved to know.
"She's fine now, but we almost lost her." Videl held her hand over he heart as she said that.
Sharpner could hear it in her voice as well. He didn't want to push the issue either.
"Okay. Just stay safe."
"You too." she said, before hanging up.
Glancing down, she sighed. How could she have forgotten about them! She turned around and went back into the room. She at least wanted to finish her food, her first real me. She couldn't handle food until Gohana started sleeping more normally. She was too worried up until that point to even attempt it.
"Gohana, please wake up soon."
Raina just looked out the window, very bored. She had been seep for a few hours, but they still had about four more hours until they got back to the lookout. She was still pretty tired though, she was too worried to actually sleep until they were safely back at the lookout.
"Why don't you get some sleep." Bulma spoke up, sipping on her stale I stale instant coffee.
"I cant. I'm still worried." She answered.
"I don't blame you. But once we get back you can get some sleep, and some real food. I imagine snack food for regular humans isn't much for you."
"Well, they taste good at least " Raina answered.
"I'm sure you mother would be happy to make you something once we get back."
Raina just nodded and yawned as she stretched her arms up Overhead. She really was tired, having not slept much since they left the lookout. It was only a few more hours until--
Raina quickly bolted up straight so fast it even shocked Bulma, nearly dropping her coffee.
"Raina, is everything alright?" she asked.
Raina looked off in the distance for a few moments before suddenly looking very scared.
"BULMA! LAND! HIDE!" Raina looked over to her terrified
Bulma didn't even need to ask, throwing her coffee to the ground as she quickly took back manual control . As fast as she could she found a hill with some tree coverage. Not caring to not damage the paint, the aircraft could easily tear apart the tree after, she quickly powered down the jet as soon as they landed. She looked up around d the sky, trying to see if she could see anything. She looked back at Raina, who was staring off into the horizon. Looking in the same direction, she still couldn't see anything.
After a few more moments, Bulma thought she could see something that wasn't obviously a bird. She soon noticed the ki trails, two of them. This must be Cell and Buu! She could feel them as they passed which was weird to her! But she could feel it none the less. After a few minutes had past, she sighed and finally looked over at Raina. She was clutching the chair, having completely collapsed the metal frame in her hands, as she was wide eyed staring off. She was trembling!
Raina was struggling to breath, feeling their ki this close, it brought back the fear of what happened, feeling her body trembling while slowly dying in her own paralyzed body. She was struggling to breath, short shallow gasps were l she could manage.
Raina felt a hand suddenly on her shoulder and she freaked out. She screamed in fear as she quickly went Super Saiyan 2 out of instinct and stared at Bulma, hear heart racing.
"Raina it's okay, they flew past us."
It was obvious how on edge Raina was, and she could hear her own heartbeat in her head. Raina was trying to calm down but the adrenaline wasn't letting her. She tried taking a few deep breaths before she jolted and her face started trembling in fear.
"n .aaa…hhhh…." She mumbled as her terrified eyes got even wider, as her face went pale.
Bulma didn't know what she said, or what was happening.
"Raina what is it?"
Raina immediately surged her energy as high as she could as she grabbed the bag with the Dragon Balls. Blasting the front of the and she quickly grabbed Bulma and flew off towards the look out as fast as she could.
Bulma shrieked at the suddenness of what just happened, but it didnt take long for her to guess what was happening. Her scaring Raina must have caused her ki to spike, alerting Cell they were there. And they were after them now.
Raina could feel their ki catching up to them! Trying to surge her ki even higher to go faster, she didn't even think about trying to conserve her ki! If she could just get back, it may oy take her ten minutes! She had to make it!
Cell and Buu suddenly appeared right in front of them, causing Raina to stop and look at them in fear.
"Blast it Cell I told you to not teleport us like that!" Babadi screamed, hating how he did that.
"What do we have here?" Cell smirked down at Raina and Bulma.
Raina quickly flew back off in another direction, hoping they wouldn't catch up. How did they get there so fast? One moment they were far away slow catching up, and the next they were right in front of her?
Raina quickly stopped as Cells instant transmission crackled in the air, causing Raina to quickly dart another direction. She surged her ki even higher, more than she ever had! She didn't even know if her body could take it but it didn't matter.
Bulma stayed quiet, instead just holding onto Raina as best she could, though Raina was holding onto her so tightly, it was amazing she wasnt being crushed to death.
"Cell, must you toy with them? Just finish them off" Babadi asked, having instead teleported himself over to them both.
"Phh, you're no fun. Fine." He placed his fingers on his forehead and focused, before having a shocked look on his face.
"Cell, stop wasting time and get to it!"
"No way." He quickly teleported them all.
Raina couldn't feel them following but she only tried going faster. She didn't feel them chasing her but that didn't matter because the last two times they weren't either.
Raina quickly stopped as she saw them appear in front of her again and she was too scared to even move, but it wasn't Cell or Buu this time! It was different people that just suddenly appeared.
"Ah, is that?" Bulma was speechless staring at them.
Cell teleported then right behind Raina, as she quickly looked back! Were they using the same ability? She returned her gaze to the other three people she didn't recognize.
"Go! Will hold them off." He said.
"Huh…but…"Raina couldn't understand.
"Raina, don't argue! Go!" Bulma shouted, jolting her out of her confusion and getting Raina back on track.
Raina noticed Cell wasn't focused on her, and without hesitating any longer, she speed off as fast as she could.
"Hey, what are you doing, don't let them get away!" Babadi shouted.
"So, this is Majin Buu. And I see Cell is here after all."
Cell glared over at him. He recognized him as well, but he didn't know his name.
"Yeah, and he's gotten a lot stronger since we took care of him back then."
"Wait, you two fought this thing before?" the much taller one asked.
"You here to play with Buu?" Buu started clapping happily and laughing, confusing them.
"Buu, stop messing around. I don't know who these three are but take care of them! Now go!" Babadi demanded.
"YAY! BUU NOW HAVE FUN!" he got ready to launch at them before Cell held out his hand, surprising them all.
"Buu, you can have all the fun with those two. But let me have the one in the middle. I get one and you get two, twice the fun for you!" he said having learned to appeal to Buu's child like nature.
"Guess we really do think the same huh? Olibu, Piccon, you alright holding Buu of for a few minutes? Remember, we just need to buy them a few minutes and then I'll get us out of here."
They both nodded as the floated away, getting ready to fight off, but Cell just smiled.
"I don't care who fights who! As long as you both take those three out!" Babadi shouted.
Buu wasted almost no time in launching himself towards Olibu and Piccon. But Cell slowly got into his fighting stance, he wouldn't stop smiling. This was a rematch he never thought he'd get.
"You'd better take my advice and go all out from the start if you plan on having a chance at all!"
"Don't worry Cell, I feel I don have a choice in the matter. Think you can spare a moment while I get ready?" he swung his arms around to loosen his joints up.
"First Gohana and Vegeta. And now you!" he smiled. "Now stop wasting time and go Super Saiyan 3!" he ordered as the fight was ready underway behind them.
"And you better not disappoint me!" he warned, seeing the confused look on Goku's face.
