AN: I'm still surprised people are actually putting this story into their favorites and following it considering I've barely been updating it, not to mention sometimes I feel wanna give up on this story and start over, so thanks guys. Also since this my first Bamon Fanfiction story and I want to be able to give you guys a really amazing Bamon story. I was wondering if anyone in the TVD Fanfiction is willing to be my beta reader? Normally I wouldn't ask, but I feel like I might need some help with this. If interested PM me. Alright on with the story.
Elena was in the kitchen putting the final touches for tonight's dinner. Tonight her and Stefan are having dinner with Stefan's parents and with Damon. Elena also invited Bonnie as well. After Elena turned down the fire and quickly wiped off her hands she walked out of the kitchen and into the dining room as she found Stefan finishing setting up the table. Elena walked up to Stefan as she placed her hand against his back and gently kissed his shoulder blade.
" Dinner should be done in fifteen minutes and everyone should be arriving soon." Elena said as she wrapped her arms around his neck as soon as Stefan turned around and faces her.
Stefan nods his head as he wrapped his arms around her waist." Good, now with Bonnie coming as well, are you positive that you're not trying to set her up with Damon?" Stefan asked as he raised his brow for a moment. Earlier tonight when Elena mentioned that Bonnie was joining them for dinner tonight, Stefan asked her the same question.
Elena sighs as she rolled her eyes as she shook her head." Stefan, I thought we already had this conversation. I'm not trying to fix up my best friend and your brother together. Even though I personally think Bonnie deserves someone better than my own brother and the fact Damon is about to be officially divorced from his very soon to be ex wife."
" Elena-. " Stefan started to warn.
" But that's beside the point and that's not why I invited Bonnie over for dinner tonight. I only invited Bonnie for dinner tonight because she knows something is going on with Jeremy and that's something has to do with Anna and the real reason why Anna is back in town,and I didn't want her to be alone tonight." Elena said as she gave him a quick kiss on his lips as she let's him go and walked into the living room as soon as she heard the ringing of the doorbell.
" Alyssa and Dylan go wash up for dinner." Elena told her two children as she walked up to the door and opened with a smile as soon as she saw Lily and Giuseppe Salvatore along with Damon standing outside her door.
" Well come on in. You guys are right on time." Elena said as she moved to the side and let her in laws into her and Stefan's home." Why don't I take your guys coats and we all can join Stefan and the kids at the dining room table."
" I really love the way you decorated your home Elena. It really does have a nice warm feeling to it." Lily gushed as she couldn't over how beautiful and wonderful everything looks. For years now Lily has been trying to get Giuseppe to let her redecorate their home back in New York. But of course Giuseppe didn't want to change anything as he was perfectly find with the way things were in his own home.
" Thanks, my Aunt Jenna and mom helped me pick most everything out." Elena said as she lead them all into the dining room. Just few months ago Elena went shopping for new furniture with Jenna and her mom Miranda and they helped her pick everything out since, she was never good at picking out anything really. It did cost her a lot but it was definitely worth it and Stefan was okay with it.
Grandma! Grandpa!" Both of the kids said at the same time as soon as they jumped out of their seats and went to hug their grandparents as Elena walked up to Stefan and gave him another kiss on his lips with a smile.
" Oh, there's my grandbabies." Lily gushed once again as she gave them both hugs and kisses on their cheeks." You two have gotten so big since the last time I saw you two." Lily said with a smile as she hugs them tightly once again.
After Alyssa and Dylan said hi to their grandparents, they also went to say hi to their uncle Damon as well. Alyssa then noticed that her Aunt Katherine was missing as well. When Alyssa heard that Uncle Demon was joining them for dinner. She was kinda hoping she was going to get the chance to see her Aunt Katherine as well.
" Hey, Uncle Damon. Do you think you can stay after dinner and play some video games with me?" Dylan asked with a grin.
Damon shrugs his shoulders." I don't know buddy. It's up to your parents." Damon answered as he looks over at Stefan and Elena.
" Dylan you know it's a school night." Elena started to say and sighs as she saw the look on her son's face." I'll tell you what. Let me and your father think about it. Deal?" Elena asked Dylan with a smile.
Dylan nods his head with a grin." Deal." He agreed as he went back to his seat at the table.
" what's with the extra plate?" Lily asked out of curiosity as her and Giuseppe sat down across from her and Stefan, and Damon took a seat between Dylan and Alyssa.
" I invited my best friend Bonnie to join us for dinner tonight. I hope that's okay with you two." Elena answered with a smile as she took a sip of her their c
" She's a little late isn't she?" Giuseppe questions in observation. The one thing Giuseppe Salvatore hates the most is when other people shows up late for anything important.
" Dad, please don't start." Stefan said with a sigh as he shook his head.
" What? I'm not starting anything. All I'm saying is that dinner has already started and her friend hasn't shown up yet." Giuseppe answered with a shrug.
" Bonnie is only a few minutes late Giuseppe. But I promise She'll be here soon." Elena said as she took another drink of her wine.
" I think I remember Bonnie. Didn't I meet her at your guys wedding? Lily asked as she also took a sip of her wine.
Elena nods her head. " Yeah, you did. She was my maiden of honor." Elena answered as she heard the ringing of the doorbell. " See I told you she'll be here." She said as she got up from her chair and walked out of the dining room into the living room heading towards the door.
" You made it. I was afraid you weren't going to show up." Elena said as soon as she opened the door and let Bonnie in before closing the door behind them.
" I'm sorry for being late." Bonnie said as she took her jacket off and hung it up on Elena's coat rack.
Elena shrugs her shoulders. " Don't worry about it. But what took you so long though?" Elena asked with a little concerned.
" I been trying to call Jeremy all day. He's not answering any of my calls or my text messages either."
Elena brought her eyebrows down together as she looks at Bonnie." Are you serious?"
Bonnie nods her head. " Have you talked to him today?" She asked as she was hoping that Elena did hear from Jeremy.
Elena shook her head as she sighs." No not since I talked to him last week." Ever since that night when Elena went over to Jeremy's to confront him about Anna, Elena hasn't seen or spoken to her little brother since.
" Come on we'll talk about this later. Everyone is waiting for us in the dining room." Elena said as she hooked her arm through Bonnie's and leads her towards the dining room.
" Well looks who finally decided to join us for dinner." Giuseppe spoke up as he noticed both Elena and Bonnie walking into the dining room together.
" Oh Giuseppe be nice." Lily Scowled her husband as she lightly smacks his arm as she stood up and walked over to Bonnie." It's good to see you again dear." Lily said with a smile as she gave Lily a friendly hug.
" Thanks, and it's good to see you too Mrs. Salvatore." Bonnie said as she returned the hug and let's Lily go as she made her way towards the table.
" I'm sorry for being late guys. I hope I didn't make you guys wait too long." Bonnie said as she sat down beside Alyssa.
" Nah, you're good Bon. Don't worry about it." Stefan responded with a nod and a friendly smile as he took a drink of his beer.
" Well thank you Stefan." Bonnie said with a nod as she took a drink of her champagne.
" Hello Bonnie." Damon greeted her with a small smile as he nods his head before taking a drink of his bourbon.
" Hello Damon." Bonnie said with a nod as she returned the small smile and turned her attention to her plate of food. Bonnie suddenly could feel her heart starting to race a little and her body starting to tingle with Damon only sitting a few feet away from her and she wasn't liking it.
All through dinner everyone had engaged into conversations. Both Stefan and Damon talked about their careers with Giuseppe while the girls talked about Elena's first story she's been working on. Ever since Elena learned how to write all she ever wanted to be was to be a writer and when her mom gave Elena her first journal at the age ten, Elena has been writing ever since.
" Have you ever thought actually getting your story published?" Lily asked as she took another bite of her salad before taking finishing up her wine.
Elena shook her head as she wipe down her mouth." No, not really. I mean I'm only doing it for fun. Besides I like working at the cafe, even though it doesn't pay as much. But I love my job and I like the customers. With Stefan working at the hospital as a doctor, we got plenty of money." Elena said with a smile.
" Yeah but, if you did get your first story published and out there. I'm sure you'll be able to make a lot more money than what your making now." Lily answered with a shrug. Lily Salvatore loves money and that's one of the reasons why she married Giuseppe because he promised to make her rich some day and once he started building up his Company. Salvatores oiling company, Lily and Giuseppe had became the most richest people in New York.
" I'm not looking to get rich Lily. I'm just writing my story for fun." Elena responded as she finished up her wine and got up from the table. " Excuse me." She said before heading towards the kitchen.
Stefan noticed Elena walking into the kitchen. " Excuse me for a moment guys." Stefan said as he got up and followed Elena into the kitchen." Hey you okay?" He asked as he walked up to Elena and wrapped his arms around her waist and rest his chin against her shoulder." My mother put her foot in her mouth again, didn't she?" He asked with a chuckle.
Elena sighs with a nod." As much as I love your mother Stefan. I just don't understand why she can't accept the fact that I'm not planning on getting any of my stories published and that I'm very happy working at my Aunt's cafe." Elena has been working at her Aunt Jenna's cafe ever since high school and she doesn't plan on quitting any time soon. As matter of fact she's hoping when Aunt Jenna finally retires and her and Uncle Alaric finally take that trip to Europe they always talked about, that Jenna will give Elena the cafe.
Stefan chuckled lightly as he kissed her cheek gently." I'm sure mother is sorry and she didn't mean to offend you. Come on dinner is almost done. Let's just enjoy it little longer. Besides mom and dad probably won't be here very long anyways."
" Your father still trying to get to quit your job as a doctor and work with him instead?" Elena asked with a smirk.
Stefan sighs as he rolled his eyes." He seems to think I can make more money than what I'm making now as a doctor. He also seems to believe he build that company for me and Damon, but Damon is perfectly find with being a bar owner in New York and I'm perfectly find with being a doctor here at the Mystic Falls hospital and working with your father."
" Well daddy does loving you on his staff." Elena said with a smile as she looked up at Stefan and kisses him gently." When Stefan finished medical school, he started to work for Elena's father Grayson at the Mystic Falls hospital when Elena was first pregnant with Alyssa and he's been working there ever since.
" Come on let's get back to dinner before one of them starts looking for us." He said as he kissed the side of Elena's head and wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her closer to him as they walked out of the kitchen and back into the dining room.
Later that evening Jeremy and Anna was curled up together in Jeremy's bed. After Jeremy came home from the Grill that afternoon. Anna and Jeremy has been spending hours talking mostly about what they were going to do once the baby comes. Being here with Jeremy in his bed and naked curled up in his arms was the very last thing Anna expected to happen.
" You do realize that we are going to hell right?" Anna asked as she gently glide her fingertips against his abs.
Jeremy chuckled with a smirk as he looks down at her." Why do you say that? "
" Because, once Bonnie finds out what been doing. She's going to kill us both and sent us straight to hell." Anna answered with a sigh as she rolled over on to her back and looks up at the ceiling. " I think we should tell Bonnie the truth, about the real reason why I'm here."
Jeremy sat up as he shook his head." We already talked about this Anna. Bonnie doesn't need to know the real reason why your here and she defintently doesn't need to know that your pregnant or the fact that I'm the baby's father." Jeremy wants to keep Anna pregnancy hid for as long as possible. The last thing Jeremy needs is for Bonnie to break up with him or for Elena to get on his case for lying to her.
Anna rolled her eyes as she got out of bed and got dressed." Fine, don't tell Bonnie. But the moment I start showing she's going to find out and she's going to realize that the father is her cheating boyfriend. I just hope you can handle that." Anna said as she walked towards Jeremy's door.
" Where are you going? " Jeremy asked with a smirk.
" I'm going to go to sleep in my own bed. Good night Jeremy." Anna said as she walked out of his room and closed the door behind her and walked across the hall towards her own room. As Anna closed the door behind her. She sighs as she walked towards her bed and sat down. Anna knew coming back to Mystic Falls was a bad idea in the first place. But once she told her mom that she was pregnant and Jeremy was the father. Pearl suggested that Anna go to Mystic Falls and talk to Jeremy.
Anna groans in frustration as she laid back against her bed and looked up at the ceiling. As she kept looking up at the ceiling Anna finally decided that she was going to look for her own place starting tomorrow. As much as Anna appreciate Jeremy letting her stay here with him. Anna feels it's best to get her own place for her and her unborn child.
Jeremy sighs as he was about to fall asleep as he suddenly heard his cell going off. Reaching for his cell and picking it up. He noticed Elena was calling him. He just rolled his eyes and declined her call as he set his cell back down. " Sorry Elena, but I really don't have time for your bickering tonight. " He mumbles as he rolled over to his side and fell asleep.
AN: Another quick note. In this story Stefan is a doctor at Mystic Falls Hospital and Elena is a writer but she only writes when she's not working at the cafe which her Aunt Jenna owns. Both Elena's parents are alive in this story and they will be popping up in this story soon. And yes Jenna and Alaric is married in this story and you guys will have a chance to see them through out the story as it process more.
