In this part Lilac holds a Staff Meeting to tell the other toys about the party, will it go well?

An Emergency Meeting
There is something that humans are unaware of when it comes to toys; just like people toys have a life of their own, but it is only when their owners or other humans aren't around. When it happens the toys are free to do what they want without any worry. But if any humans find out well….it won't be good
However, Lilac and her friends, during all their years being Tai's toys, were able to avoid this problem, but being spotted was the least of their worries. The real concern was the fact the boy's birthday is today and that means just one thing; presents and that potentially means new toys, new promises…as well as potentially the old toys could never be played with again or forgotten!
Over the years, Lilac has feared she would end up being replaced as Tai's favourite but so far it hasn't happened. But out of precaution she figured hold an emergency toy meeting. She waits till she's sure Tai and Kari were downstairs to give out the coast is clear signal.
"Alright, everyone, coast is clear!" Lilac calls out to the other toys.
Soon the world of toys began to come to life as they begin their usual life. Lightning McQueen looks out the closet he was put into before leaving. During that Slyther groans as he sits up and begins to put his parts back onto himself. The toy robot magician has to go through all this everytime Kari.
"Geez, ages 3 and up says so right on the box! Ages 3 and up, it isn't my job to look out for princess drool their" Slyther groans as he rebuilds himself
Toys went about their daily lives, Wall-E stops his friend Seviper from move into the path of Lightning as the race car drove by. Garfield, cork back in to him, is working on gathering back up the coins off the floor with the last going back into him as well. Slyther cam up to the toy cat back to him turned. The robot then turned for a surprise to his friend.
"Hey Garfield! Look at this!" Slyther said turning to show he got his face mixed up literally. "I'm Picasso!"
Garfield blinks at Slyther's mixed up face. He groans and turns to leave saying "I understand the joke but…not all that funny."
Slyther groans watching the cat leave and said "My you are so uncultured. What are you looking at you battle droid?" He said the last bit to a Battle Droid known as Oom-9 while walking off.
As the toys continue their activity, Lilac addresses a clone commander named Cody standing on the bedside table near her and asked "Hey Cody, have you seen Soundwave?"
"Ma'am! No, ma'am!" Cody said saluting Lilac while confirming the answer.
"Okay, thanks. At ease trooper" Lilac said and jumps off the bed and starts to look for Soundwave, to inform him of the bad news. "Hey, Soundwave? Where are you?"
"I'm right here Lilac." A voice came from under the bed. Lilac turns to see Soundwave coming from right under the bed with a checkerboard, eager to play a game with his friend. As the Decepticon toy puts the checkers on the board he said "I think this time I should be red."
"Uh, no…Soundwave…Not…" Lilac said to him awkwardly
"Well alright, if you want to be red then…" Soundwave began to say
"Soundwave, no I can't play right now." Lilac told him and then said in a low voice "I've got some bad news." She hopes Soundwave would keep it to himself until the meeting.
"What? Bad news" Soundwave said shocked. The cybertronian's voice was loud enough to get any nearby toy to stop and look in their direction, eager to hear any gossip.
"Heh…I will inform you later. Can you just gather everyone up for a staff meeting, alright? Also try and be happy" Lilac urges Soundwave. Soundwave nods but looks a bit concerned "I said be happy!"
Soundwave laughs trying to put on that he was happy but he was still worried. Lilac walks by the bed and he saw Seviper and Wall-E under it. The dragon said "Staff meetingm everyone! Seviper, Wall-E both of you are on podium duty!"
Seviper looks worried and tries to hide, not wanting to do the task; but Wall-E grabs his friend and pulls him out so the duo can do their job. Lilac keeps walking looking for her doodle pad for the meeting, she passes a toy called Smergle. The dragon stops and grins having a silly idea.
"Hey Smergle!" Lilac said getting Smergle to stop. "Draw!"
The two turn around quickly as Lilac points her fingers like they were guns. But Smergle was fast as he got a drawing canvas and paints with his tail a gun on it before Lilac could make the sign completely.
"Whoa!" Lilac exclaimed while pretending to have been shot "Haha! You got me again! Wow, you really been working on that draw. Fastest tail in the west, pal!"
"Alright everyone, there's a staff meeting." Soundwave said to the other toys as he heads off to the area they use as their usual meeting time. "Come on, let's go."
The toys moved to get into position, ready for the meeting while Seviper and Wall-E work putting the podium together, making the thing out of blocks, lego, mega blocks, etc. The meeting setup has to be perfect like it was every time.
"Now where did it go?" Lilac mumbles as she searches for her doodle pad. The dragon spots it and goes to it. "There it is. Hey which one of you moved my doodle pad all the way here?"
As Lilac picks it up, a familiar black dragon appeared and roars loudly at purple dragon girl as if threatening her. Lilac however shrugs and said "Hey Red Eyes."
Red Eyes stops roaring and asked in a soft and hopeful voice "Oh, uh do mind me Lilac but…were you scared? Please be honest with me." The truth of the matter is Red Eyes Black Dragon despite his fearsome appearance is really a nice dragon. Through he is trying to scare the other toys as best he can but so far, no luck.
"Red, I was very close that time to being scared." Lilac said not being honest but sparing his feelings "Just keep working on it, okay?"
"Oh darn, I was going for fearsome, but I suppose I didn't feel it." Red Eyes said looking down "I feel I am just coming off as annoying."
As Lilac prepares to head off to the podium, the dragon girl yelps as she is pulled by the neck to someone; a familiar purple cat girl smiling at her. Lilac chuckles sheepishly and said "Oh, uh, hi Blaze."
"Hey Lilac; I just wanted to thank you for…saving Ampharos, Flaaffy and Mareep." Blaze said to Lilac gently
"Oh, yeah well…it err…it was nothing." Lilac said bashfully
"Hey, what if I were to get someone else to watch the Pokemon tonight?" Blaze said with a smile
"Oh, well, er, y-yeah…I…" Lilac said flustered and blusing red. Blaze was asking her out on a date! This was great news!
Blaze nods and walks away, passing some blocks and says, "Just remember, I'm only a few blocks away."
Lilac blushes and looks silly. She just hopes no one else saw what happened. Otherwise, they will, most definitely if it's Slyther, never let her forget about it. During this the toys were still gathering up for the emergency toy meeting instructed by Soundwave.
"Okay, come on everyone keep it moving. Smaller toys up front." Soundwave calls out for the small toys; he then calls out to the lovestruck dragon "Hey Lilac! Let's go!"
Lilac came back to her senses, almost forgetting about the meeting for a second. The dragon girl heads to the podium, now finished, as the other toys wait patiently or impatiently for the meeting to starts. What was the news this time?
Once Lilac was at the podium, he spots a purple radio Pokémon known as Loudred who offers her his microphone
"Thank you Loudred" Lilac said taking it and taps it before speaking into it, "Okay…" The dragon yelps at the feedback that it made. Loudred was too close "Whoa, too loud, step back please."
Loudred sheepishly steps back till the feedback disappeared
The dragon girl then speaks into the mike asking "Hello? Check, check. Is that better? Everyone hear me?" She then looks to the shelf "How about those on the shelf?" The toys on the shelf nearby wave at the dragon, assuring her they can hear her. Looks like this meeting can get underway.
"Alright, first item on the day's agenda…" Lilac said looking at her what was first on the doodle pad "Okay, first off, I want to be sure. Has everyone gotten themselves a moving buddy?"
"Moving buddy?" Garfield asks on a shelf close to the window sill, causing all the toys to groan at this. Ever since the moving announcement was made, Lilac has reminded them over and over for them to get a moving buddy to avoid being left behind. "You really can't be serious?"
"Well, I didn't know we needed to have one already" Red Eyes says sheepishly
"Do we have to hold hands?" Slyther jokes as he holds on of his arms with the other, causing most of the toys to laugh at his joke while he smirks.
"Oh hilarious, you all think this is a big joke, right? Need I remind you there is only one week before the move. Well, I won't be laughing if someone gets left behind. A moving buddy: if you don't have on, get one!" Lilac snaps at the toys, this make Slyther roll his optics before using his own arm to his a toy that was obscuring his view. The dragon chose to ignore this and goes onto the next topic "Next up; Ah right. Tuesday night's 'Plastic Corrosion Awareness' meeting was, in my honest opinion, a huge success. And I like to thank Rotom Dex for putting that on for us. Thanks Rotom Dex.
"You're welcome!" A red pokedex looking pokemon call Rotom Dex said as the words appeared on the screen.
Lilac lifts up the pad a little and sighs at what was written. The next topic is the one she wanted to avoid. Hopefully the dragon can say it quickly and that her friends won't notice.
"Okay. Oh, one little miner note here. No need to worry…. Um, Tai's birthday party has been moved up to today." Lilac said under her breath quietly. She puts the pad down while continuing "Now…"
Sadly, Lilac spoke a bit too loudly; the toys heard her and scream, looking horrified by this shocking news. Tai's birthday has been moved to today. Can't be!
"Hang on, what do you mean the party's today? His birthday isn't till next week!" Red Eyes said shocked and terrified.
"Yeah, what's going on downstairs? Is his mom losing her marbles?" Garfield asked shocked and in disbelief.
"Well, obviously she wanted to have the party before the move." Lilac said trying to calm her friends down "I am sure it is going to be great. I'm not worried and neither should you be worried.
"Well or course Lilac isn't worried, big surprise there. Cause she's been Tai's favourite since kindergarten." Slyther remarks with a frown. Lilac however knew the magician robot has been a bit jealous towards her due to Tai playing with the toy dragon all the time, so Slyther brings it up every so often.
"Alright, settle down, Slyther. If Lilac said it's alright, then that is good enough for me; Our good dragon friend has never steered us wrong before." Soudnwave insists to Slyther. Of course, he fails to notice that the magician robot removed his mouthplate of his face and mimes kissing his own rear as if calling Soundwave a rear kisser, this causes Rotom Dex to chuckle quietly.
Despite the fact Soundwave has confidence, the other toys remain unconvinced. Lilac sighs and said "Everyone, come on. Every Christmas and birthday we go through the same song and dance, getting worked up and worried about being replaced."
"But what if Tai gets another dragon, a mean one like Blue Eyes." Red Eyes asked frantically "I don't think I could handle that kind of rejection."
"Listen, no one is getting replace, alright? This is Tai we're talking about. It doesn't matter how much we're played with…" Lilac begins to say as she leaves the podium. The dragon girl yelps as the mike held her back, making her to nod to Loudred who came over to allow Lilac to continue. "What's most important is that we're here for Tai when he need us. That's what we're made for right?"
The toys look sheepish as they look down at there feet, wheels, whaever. Maybe Lilac is right about this, they are being silly. The truth in the matter is the toys care for Tai with all of their artificial hearts and worried that he may not want them anymore. But perhaps they should calm down and not worry about the nonsense anymore. Besides, it's not like this is the day their owner would get a new toy that would change everything right?
"Hey, um I hate to break up the staff meeting and all but…" Garfield said looking worried as he glances out the window close by. "They're here! Birthday guests at 3 O'clock!"
"Hold on, don't panic!" Lilac begins to protest. But it was too late, the toys freak out and almost all of them almost knocked down the dragon girl as they rush over to the bedroom window, even Loudred. Lilac sighs and dusts herself off and says "Well, guess this is meeting adjourned."
The toys look out of the window, trying their best to look outside. To them, it wasn't good especially with the amount of guests arriving for the party.
"Oh geez, will you all take a look at all those presents." Garfield groans a bit.
"Hey, you fools, move out the way, I can't see!" Slyther snaps as he tries to see past the toys. When the magician robot couldn't get a good view, he took out his optics and held them above the crowd to get a better view. More kids were arriving for the birthday boy.
"Yep, I can see it now, we're next month garage fodder for sure." Garfield said with nod
"Any dragon shaped ones?" Red Eyes asked worried
"For the love of Jim Davis, they're all in boxes, you red eyed idiot!" Garfield snapped at Red Eyes in annoyance. The toys begin to get more and more worried as another kid is bringing a bigger box.
"They're getting bigger." Red Eyes said gulping nervous
"Hold on, look there, there is a nice little one there in Tai's friend Sora's hands" Soundwave as she points out a girl in a yello shirt and blue jeans and where a blue hat holding a small box; nothing to worry right?
At least, that was the case until Sora turns around with the box…. revealing it to be four feet long! Most of the toys scream and panic. It is official; their lives as Tai's toys is coming to an end!
"Can you spell 'trashcan'" Rotom Dex said sadly
"We're doomed, doomed I say." Red Eyes groans in sadness. Lilac watched her friends and sighs in annoyance. She knew that all this won't stop unless something is done. The leader of these toys knew of one way to do that.
"All right! All right! Listen up!" Lilac calls up to her friends getting their attention who turn around to look at her. "Now if I send out Cody and the clone troops do you promise to all calm down?"
"Yes, yes, we promise to!" Red Eyes exclaims to Lilac anxiously. Maybe if Cody and his men find out what's in the presents, then perhaps the toys will calm down.
"Fine, save your batteries." Lilac said and goes to do that
"Great thinking their Lilac! That's using your water dragon brain." Garfield chuckled in delight. Leave it to Lilac to figure out a way to resolve the big problems.
As Lilac gets on the bed, she turns to Cody and instructs him "Commander, I want you and your troops to establish a recon post downstairs. This is a code red operation; you know what to do"
"Yes ma'am." Cody exclaims and salutes. He then hops down closer to the floor going to a bucket labelled 'Bucket of Troopers' where his men were waiting for the clone commander's orders. "All right men! You heard the big dragon! We got a code red! I repeat code red! Recon plan Kamino! Begin! Let's move, move, move!"
The clone troops didn't waste any time. They jump out of the bucket and begin their important mission: To recon the Birthday.
Well with words failing to convince the other not to panic, time to see what gifts Tai will get to see if he does get new toys.
