It was a lovely day in Wayouttatown, Oregon, September 28 to be exact. Time has passed for quite a while now, and just like any other person… erm, living creatures, they've grown up! For instance, Norbert is married to his crush, Treeflower and they couldn't have been happier to share their lives in peace and harmony. Stacy and Chelsea have also grown a bit theirselves. Daggett has also gotten older and he… uh… what changed about him? Oh, never mind, he's been pretty much the same, the only thing that changed was that he's gotten older. But that doesn't matter, on this very day, a very important event was about to take place between Norbert and his wife, Treeflower.
"Ah, nothing beats a good day when you make yourself some waffles with some maple syrup, straight from the source!", Norbert sighs happily as he checks on his waffles and holds up a bottle of maple syrup that he collected from one of the maple trees nearby.
Just then, Treeflower comes downstairs with her stomach still grown since she is now nine months pregnant. She walks down to the kitchen and yawns and stretches.
"Good morning Norby…", she yawned while walking over to her husband and kissing him on the cheek.
"Morning my sweet Treeflower, I'm making some waffles for breakfast with some fresh maple syrup, sourced from one of the several maples around.", Norbert says as he takes his now-finished waffle and drizzles some of the maple syrup onto it. "So, how are our little daughters doing?"
"I think they're doing just fine..", Treeflower smiles while rubbing her stomach, feeling very good about being a mother to her two beautiful baby girls.
"That's great to hear. Your waffles are almost done."
"Okay, Norby." , Treeflower smiles as she sits down and continues rubbing her stomach. "Oh Norby, I can't believe it's already been nine whole months since I got pregnant…I've enjoyed every day of it."
"Me too. It feels like just yesterday that we first found out you were pregnant and now here we are." Norbert smiles as he serves Treeflower her waffles as he starts eating his own.
Treeflower giggles and starts eating her waffles.
"Yeah…oh I meant to tell you my band said I could take some time off since I'm having babies." , She informs him as she eats her waffles.
"That's good. Being a mother of two beautiful baby girls is very hard work isn't really easy but at the end of the day, it's still really fun since we get to give them all the love we have for them" Norbert says as he bites into his waffles, knowing full well he perfected them yet again.
"Yeah…" , Treeflower smiles before she rubs her stomach again. Just then, the babies start kicking inside her. "Whoa! Easy there, little ones" She giggles while rubbing her stomach.
"Oh they sure are feisty little ones aren't they?", Norbert chuckles before he starts rubbing and tickling his wife's stomach for her, making her giggle softly.
"You sure are very hyper little ones.", Norbert says cutely to the babies through Treeflower's stomach while she giggles. "We so cannot wait for when you're finally born…we'll give you all the love in the world." He says through her stomach before kissing it, making her blush softly.
After they had their breakfast,Treeflower decided to walk upstairs and look at the nursery was all finished and was all hippie themed and was all pretty looking. It had their cribs,their play pen,a changing table,and a rocking chair.
"Oh,I can't wait for you girls to finally come out into this world",Treeflower sighed contently as she rubbed her stomach gently.
Treeflower would walk back downstairs but when she finally got to the living room,her stomach then grew rounder and bigger and her water finally broke.
"Uuuum,Norby?"
"What's going on Treeflow- GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY! What happened?!"
"The babies,I-I think they're coming!"
"Wait right now?!"
"YES RIGHT NOW!",Treeflower panicked as she started to breathe heavily
"Well let's hurry over to the hospital!" , Norbert said as he held her close and rushed over to the car
Norbert drove out of the driveway as they were making their way to the hospital as fast as they could.
"I-I don't know how much longer I can take" Treeflower said in a struggle
"Don't worry Treeflower,we're almost there" , Norbert reassured Treeflower as they finally made it to the parking lot of the hospital
They ran inside to the hospital as quickly as they could while Treeflower was still having difficulty breathing. Norbert and Treeflower then bolt over to the receptionist's desk.
"Hello my wife's water broke and is having babies and she needs to be rushed to the emergency room right now!" Norbert says, scared for his wife's safety.
"Don't worry sir, we'll get your wife in right away!",the receptionist says while she puts the admittance as high priority. Almost immediately, a beaver nurse opens the door.
"Mrs. Beaver, your room is ready now, please come with us."
"W-wait? Can I bring my husband with me? I need him really badly…"
"Of course ma'am. Now come with us."
The Beaver Nurse heads over to the delivery room as Norbert and Treeflower follows with Norbert holding her hand.
Once they arrived in the delivery room, Treeflower was laying on the bed holding Norbert's hand tightly while she's in labor.
"Uugh…I'm really glad you're here with me N-Norby…I-I don't think I would've done this without you…" , Treeflower grunts while in excruciating pain.
"I've made it my moral duty as a husband to always be there right by your side forever and ever! I'll forever keep my word!" Norbert reassures her proudly while holding her hand. She starts smiling and blushing. Just then, a Doctor comes into the delivery room to ensure their daughters are going to be born healthy.
"Alright ma'am, now what I want you to do is take deep breaths and push as hard as you can. This is gonna go a lot smoother if you keep calm and do exactly what I tell you to.",the doctor says to Treeflower, making sure that she's as calm as she can be before she delivers her babies.
"O-okay…" Treeflower says before she takes a few deep breaths starts pushing with all her might. Norbert and the Doctor cheer her on and support her throughout the way as she keeps pushing and pushing, meanwhile Treeflower groans loudly in unbearable pain.
"Just keep going! Push!" , the doctor yells.
"AAAAAGGGHH! Ugggh…this hurts so much…I just want this to end!"
"It's okay, Treeflower, just keep pushing! Do it for our daughters!",Norbert encourages her while slowly rubbing her hand.
"Okay…for our daughters…Aaaaagghh!"
Treeflower continues pushing as she sweats profusely.
"Keep going, you're doing very well! I think I can see the head of the first one!", the doctor notices.
"Y-you do…?" , Treeflower asks shakily.
"Yes, that means you're doing very well! And this one looks just like her dad. Just keep pushing!",the doctor commands her as Treeflower gives a weak smile from that last part before she continues pushing.
"AAAAAHHHHH!"
Treeflower delivers the final big push, thus bringing her first daughter into the world.
"Perfect! That's one down and only one more to go!"
She gave a weak smile to the doctor before she continued pushing on the second one.
"Okay…one m-more and then the pain will be over…Aaaagghhh!" Treeflower sweats while panting and pushing more.
"You're doing marvelous! I can see the other one's head and she looks just like her mom! Just keep pushing!"
"You heard the doctor, sweetie! Keep pushing! The pain is almost over!" Norbert reassures her while holding her hand very closely.
"One…more…push…AAAAAAHHHHH!"
Treeflower then delivers her final big push, thus giving birth to her second daughter and making all of the pain go away. She lies back on the hospital bed completely out of energy.
"Congratulations, you have given birth to two beautiful baby girls!",the doctor exclaims as he hands the newborns over to Norbert and Treeflower as he leaves the room to give them their privacy with their new daughters.
"Oh Norby…our daughters look so adorable..", she smiles as she holds the babies while Norbert stands closely to her.
"I know…I love them already…", Norbert smiles while he wraps his arm around Treeflower's body.
"What do you think we should name them?" Treeflower asks her husband.
Norbert ponders for a second before remembering the flowers that Wolfee and Tracy gave them at the baby shower a month prior.
"I got it. Let's name the first one Lily and the second one Petunia…"
"Those are wonderful names, Norby…"
Just then, Lily and Petunia flutter their little eyes open for the first time. The first thing that they see is their parents looking at them smiling.
"Welcome to the world Lily and Petunia...I'm daddy and this is your mommy…" Norbert says softly to them while smiling.
"We're gonna make sure you live the best life you can ever dream of…" Treeflower tells them while also smiling.
After that, the first thing that they do is nuzzle their tiny heads against their parents chests lovingly, thus making Norbert and Treeflower shed tears of happiness.
"Awwww look at them...they already love us so much…"
"Yea...I'm so proud to be parents with you, Norby...I'll be forever grateful…"
"And I'll be forever grateful that I get to be a father to our kids...I promise that I'll be there for Lily and Petunia every single day for the rest of our lives...That's a promise as a father."
"This is why I love you so much, Norby...You really are the best husband I could ever ask for…", Treeflower says before she and Norbert kiss lovingly. Just then, the babies started to cry. Norbert and Treeflower stopped their kissing to check to see what's wrong with their babies.
"Oh no, what's wrong?" Treeflower asks the babies before asking her husband,"What should we do?"
"I don't know. Maybe they're hungry." Norbert says as he pulls out a milk bottle and gives it to both of them as they sip the milk as they weren't hungry and spat the bottles out. This makes Norbert a bit more worried as he tries to think of something to calm his babies down, but then, Norbert suddenly gets a bright idea.
"I think I know just the thing to help calm you babies down." Norbert says smiling to his crying daughters.
He then brings out his prized guitar and starts playing a relaxing lullaby to the girls as they start to calm down and stop crying for a bit.
"Hush my darlings, don't you cry
Listen to my lullaby
Daddy's here to keep you safe
So go to sleep, don't stay awake…"
The babies start to calm down as Treeflower smiles as Norbert, realizing that this was the song he was practicing a month prior that night.
"The moon is out and shining bright
No monsters in your room tonight
Good night, my babies who I adore
I will love you forevermore…"
Lily and Petunia then start to get sleepy and started to yawn and rub their eyes as they nuzzle against their mother's chest while sucking their thumbs.
"Now it's time to go to sleep
So I will help you get there
Wish upon a star tonight
There's music in the air
Sweetest dreams will come to you
And then you'll see the morning
I'll give you a "Biiiiig hug"
Petunia and my Lily…"
Then finally the girls then fall asleep in their mother's arms, finally calmed down from their father's singing.
"Wow Norby, how did you know that would work?"
"I think my relaxing singing voice must've calmed them down. I've always loved to be put to sleep with a lullaby when I was a baby, and I thought that my love for music would've been passed onto them, so I thought singing a lullaby would help them sleep.." Norbert smiles.
"Well it worked really well…" Treeflower says to Norbert before looking at his eyes lovingly, as he looks into her beautiful blue eyes as they both kiss again, this time without being interrupted by their babies.
Meanwhile, Daggett sprints into the hospital very much out of breath from running and goes over to the receptionist's desk.
"Hi,do you know which room Norbert and Treeflower are in?" Daggett pants while he rests his arm on the desk, trying to catch his breath.
"Hold on, let me look you up real quick." The receptionist says as she looks up Daggett's information on the computer monitor. "You're Norbert's brother Daggett, correct?"
Daggett nods yes for confirmation.
"Okay, I'll get the nurse in right away." The receptionist informs him as she calls in the same nurse that brought in Norbert and Treeflower from before comes back.
"Hello, you must be Daggett Beaver. What can I help you with?"
"I'm here to see how my brother Norbert and his wife Treeflower are doing? I heard that she was going into labor earlier and I just wanted to check in on them to see if she's doing alright."
"Oh yes they're right down the hall from here. I'll bring you to their room right now, just follow me."
Daggett excitedly follows the nurse down the hall, eager to see his nieces for the first time. Once he finally arrives at the hospital room, he opens the door and is eager to see his brother and his sister in law with their newborn daughters.
"Hey Norb, how's it going?" Dag asks cheerfully, clearly not being mindful that the babies are sleeping.
"Shhh! The babies are sleeping." Norbert whispers to his brother to get him to quiet down.
"Babies? Wait, did Treeflower just give birth to your daughters today?" Dag asks while whispering.
"Yes they came out not even an hour ago. And quiet down you're gonna wake them up." Norbert whispers slightly harshly.
"Oh sorry." Daggett says as he starts quieting down. "So did you name them?"
"Yes we did. We named this one Lily, and this one's Petunia." Norbert whispers as he points at the babies to show to Daggett.
"Eh…Lily looks a lot like you. You sure she's a girl?", Daggets whispers to him.
A now slightly annoyed Norbert whispers, "Yes the doctor confirmed it himself. Please control your mouth, Daggett. I don't want to be embarrassed on this wonderful day."
"Okay, I promise to control my mouth."
"Thank you, Dag." Norbert whispers in relief. Just then, Treeflower starts whispering to Dag.
"So what do you think of your nieces, Uncle Daggy?" Treeflower giggles quietly.
Then, Daggett starts looking at his adorable nieces for the first time as he already starts to love them just like Norbert and Treeflower do.
"Awww they're so cute!" Dag whispers/
"You really think so, Dag?" She whispers while smiling.
"Of course, who wouldn't gush at the sight of these two adorable little angels."
"Yeah they sure are adorable little angels…right, Norby?"
"They sure are. They look so peaceful while they're sleeping…", Norbert smiles while he looks at the babies.
"You know I can't wait for them to wake up, so they can finally meet their uncle Daggett!" Daggett whispers excitedly.
"You know, Dag. I guess that time we took care of that baby mongoose you thought you had really did make you a very caring person deep down." Norbert smiles as he remembers the events of when he and Daggett raised Gary the Mongoose together decades ago.
"I told you, Norb. I'm great with kids!" Dag says before he looks at the clock and sees that it's getting dark.
"Oh uh, Norbert and Treeflower? Should we leave the hospital so I can make you two something for dinner? I know you two had a long day and I thought I could make you something good to eat." Daggett says to them quietly.
After Daggett made this proposal, Treeflower and Norbert looked at Daggett as if he said something that would confuse the smartest of all people.
"Eeh… Why are you all looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" Daggett asked quietly, confused by the fact that Norbert and Treeflower were looking at Daggett weirdly.
"No Daggett, you look fine. It's just that I can't leave the hospital just yet. I've just given birth to our daughters. I just need some time to regain my strength because giving birth took a lot of my energy." Treeflower responds quietly, reminding Daggett that no mother can just leave the hospital immediately after giving birth.
"Oh… right! I can't believe that slipped my mind. Anyways, would you be fine if I bring my cooking over in a plastic container? I mean, sure, you would have to heat it up, but at least you'll get to enjoy a nice home cooked meal." Dagget suggested, willing to run from the dam and back to bring Treeflower and Norbert some of his cooking to eat.
I mean, hospital food can be decent at times but a home cooked meal is miles ahead in terms of quality compared to the hospital's cooking. Other times however, hospital food can be the worst.
"That sounds like a plan, Dag. That'll be a big help for us and plus,we're getting kinda hungry" Norbert responded
"You know, I would like that too. Thank you for helping us out, me and my sweet Norby appreciate it." , Treeflower says, agreeing with Norbert's response and thankful for Daggett's offer.
"Alright, I'll go see what I can make for the new parents. I'll be right back in an hour or two with my cooking." , Daggett says, starting to make his way out.
However, Daggett stopped for a moment because he had one more thing to ask.
"Say, uh… Do you have any specific meal you guys want for dinner?" Daggett asked, in case Treeflower or Norbert had something they wanted to eat in mind.
Norbert and Treeflower looked at each other,thinking of what they wanted to eat,then they looked back at Daggett.
"Surprise us.", Norbert and Treeflower responded in unison
Daggett gave them a thumbs up and then exited the room to head back to his dam and prepare a nice warm dinner for the three of them. Norbert and Treeflower giggled quietly as he left and continued to look at their daughters lovingly.
Later that night after they had dinner, Treeflower was sleeping in her hospital bed while Norbert was sleeping at her bedside when a cry was heard and it was coming from Lily.
"Hang on,I gotta check up on Lily.", Norbert said quietly as he slowly got up from the rocking chair.
"Oh no, what's wrong little one?" Norbert asks as he walks over to her and Petunia's crib and picks her up. Suddenly his nose is hit with a really awful odor coming from her diaper, a more than obvious sign that she soiled herself.
"Oh,I knew this moment was coming sooner or later. Welp, as a parent I must do what's right."
Norbert then lies her down on the nearby changing table while she giggles and squirms her little arms and legs. He then removes her soiled diaper for her and disposes of it in the trash can, while Lily stops fidgeting and just looks at her father smiling.
Norbert puts a new and clean diaper on Lily as she starts sucking her thumb.
"There we go. Now you're all clean, my little angel." Norbert smiles as he strokes his hand on her face so she can nuzzle it if she wanted to, but rather she boops her father's pointy nose while giggling.
"Oh you silly little bundle of joy!" , Norbert says quietly and happily, booping her little nose back to her while she giggles some more.
Just then, Petunia starts crying too.
"Oh boy…" , Norbert said nervously before placing Lily back in the crib and picking up Petunia.
"What's wrong, Petunia?"
Just then her stomach starts growing, thus making the problem obvious to Norbert.
"Is my little Petunia hungry? Don't worry sweetie, I'll get you a nice warm bottle of milk to help you." , Norbert smiles while rubbing her little face to relax her before he puts some milk in a baby bottle and heats it up for her. Just then, Lily's stomach starts growling too.
"Okay, I guess I'll make that two then." , Norbert said as he scrambles to make a second bottle of milk for her, but the heating would have to wait until Petunia's bottle was done. Meanwhile Petunia starts giggling and clapping waiting for her milk to be ready.
Petunia's milk was now ready as Norbert gave it to her while putting in Lily's bottle to start the heating process. Petunia drank her milk happily and Lily's milk finished warming just shortly after as both the girls drank their milk with glee.
"Well that takes care of that!" Norbert says while dusting his hands off.
After Lily and Petunia finish drinking their milk, they tried to let out their first burps but were having a hard time as they reached their little arms up to their father for him to help them. Norbert then picks them up and starts patting their backs for them to help them burp. After a few minutes of patting, Lily and Petunia both let out a tiny burp and giggle cutely.
"Looks like my babies are a little gassy." , Norbert chuckles to himself as he places the girls back in the crib gently. However, Lily and Petunia would rather be near their father as they reach their little arms to him while giving him cute eyes.
"Woah, looks like my little girls are eager to have my attention." Norbert says to himself while he tries looking for any baby toys to keep them occupied, however both Lily and Petunia then tried getting out of their crib and crawled to their father clinging onto his legs.
"Huh…looks like there's no way to keep them occupied. But then again I can't say no to them." , Norbert says to himself before picking up the girls and letting them cuddle on his chest.
The babies then start booping their father's nose again while giggling cutely.
"You girls are just too cute to say no to." , Norbert smiles at them before giving them a gentle hug to show his affection towards them. Lily and Petunia smiled cutely as they nuzzled their father's chest lovingly.
Norbert then sees a rocking chair in the corner of the room and gets an idea.
"Hang on,Daddy's got an idea"
He then picks the girls up and sits down on the rocking chair with them while rocking it back and forth gently. The girls then look at their father.
"Rocking chairs always used to soothe me when I was a baby just like you girls, so I figured it might help you calm down too."
Lily and Petunia then start to get soothed and nuzzle up against their father's chest again while he gently hugs the girls lovingly again.
"Lily and Petunia. You're gonna love your room that you'll sleep in once we get back home to our dam."
Lily and Petunia looked up at their father, confused but curious as to what he had to say.
"Your mommy and daddy put a lot of effort into it to make it look as nice as it can be. It has toys, a playpen, a changing table, a closet full of clothes, and two large cribs for you to sleep in. There's also cute little mobiles that play lullabies so that you girls can sleep tight." Norbert explains to them lovingly.
The girls both like the sound of that as they make happy baby noises.
"You two are going to have very nice lives ahead of you. You're going to meet all of mommy and daddy's friends and family. Such as Barry and his wife Glodean, Bing and his wife Wanda, Wolffee and his wife Tracy, your grandma and grandpa, your aunts Stacy and Chelsea, Stump, and Big Rabbit. Doesn't that sound fun? And yes, Uncle Daggy's gonna be there as well."
Lily and Petunia looked at their father while smiling nuzzling closely to his chest lovingly while they listened to him talk.
"And once you two get older, there's no doubt that you'll meet some friends of your own and eventually find some boy beavers that will love you just as much as I do. And by how cute you girls are, there is also no doubt that one boy beaver may have a crush on you two when you're older."
Lily and Petunia smile cutely at all the thought of all the good things that will be coming to them as they cuddle closer to their father's chest, wanting to hear him talk about more.
"You're in good hands, Lily and Petunia. We are going to protect you no matter what and we will always give you the best care from any parent in the world." Norbert smiles while stroking their hairs to make them feel more calm.
Lily and Petunia smile softly and they start to get relaxed from their father playing with their hairs. Just then, they let out cute yawns and rubbed their eyes.
"Feeling sleepy? Don't worry, daddy'll put you to sleep." , Norbert says quietly and softly to them.
Norbert then starts playing with their hairs again to get them calm some more, as he's about to sing them the same lullaby like he sang earlier again. As Norbert was singing, Lily and Petunia then start cuddling their father's chest again while they start to get tired. The babies then get more and more tired as they start closing their eyes and drifting off to sleep.
As Norbert was done singing, Lily and Petunia were fast asleep as they rested peacefully in their father's chest. Norbert then hums the same song quietly and then places them back in the crib so they can sleep comfortably as well.
"Sleep well,my little angels. Daddy loves you girls so much"
He then goes back to the chair he was sitting at before and sits next to Treeflower, very happy to finally be a dad to two beautiful daughters.
A few days later,Treeflower was well enough to go back home. Norbert put some baby seats at the back of the car and drove their car near the entrance to the hospital so it was all ready for her and the babies. Norbert then got Treeflower and his daughters as they walked out of the hospital while Norbert was holding Lily in his arms and Treeflower was holding Petunia in her arms.
"Today's the day we finally show Lily and Petunia their new home. I bet you missed being there for the last few days while we were in the hospital. After all, home is where the heart is." Norbert says to Treeflower while smiling.
"Oh yes I do, Norby. I can't wait to show them around the dam and for them to meet their friends and family." Treeflower smiles as well.
"I already know they're gonna love the room I made spay-cif-ey-cally for them." Norbert says while doing his usual bit of purposely mispronouncing words, making Treeflower giggle from how funny it always is.
"Okay girls, ready to go home with mommy and daddy?" , Treeflower says to her newborn daughters as they make happy baby noises, signifying yes.
"Good thing we installed car seats for them beforehand." , Norbert says as he and Treeflower then fasten their daughters into their new car seats as they looked around and clapped happily. Norbert and Treeflower then get in their seats and buckle up as Norbert starts the car.
"Ready to go, Norby?"
"I've been ready since the day they were born..."
Norbert then begins driving his wife and his daughters home for the first time in days. A few minutes later, they arrive home at their dam and exit the car holding their newborn daughters in their arms. Once they arrive back in the house for the first time, they are surprised to find that the entire house is dark and the lights are off.
"Huh…I wonder why all the lights are off." , Norbert wondered before he got his answer.
As soon as they turn the lights on, all of their family and friends jump out to greet them.
"SURPRISE! WELCOME HOME NORBERT AND TREEFLOWER!" , Everyone cheers to them, with Stump holding a sign next to him that reads "Surprise!"
Norbert and Treeflower gasped as they were pleasantly surprised to see all their family and friends throw a welcome home party for them.
"Woah, you guys threw us a surprise party?!", Norbert says, very surprised.
"We sure did! I know that our parents would be pleasantly surprised when they got back so I decided to invite all our friends and family to throw you a surprise party!" Daggett informs them.
"Awww, this is so sweet of all of you!", Treeflower says pleasantly surprised.
Just then, Leonard and Rose then go over to Norbert and Treeflower.
"It sure was nice of Daggett to invite us all to the party for our son and his newborn daughters!", Rose says while hugging her son closely, very proud of his achievement in life.
"It makes me so proud that Norbert's grown up to be a great parent, just like we always thought he would be." Leonard says proudly about his son. "I kinda wish Daggett had his own female beaver himself, though." he chuckles while looking at Daggett.
"I told you, Dad. I was and still am done with love after my love with that fishing lure broke off!" Daggett says irritated while Norbert giggles, thinking about the time decades prior when his brother was in love with a fishing lure named Angel Eyes.
Just then, Norbert goes up to the front of the room and has an announcement to make to everyone.
"Can I get everyone's attention please? We have a very important announcement to make!"
Everyone in the house then focuses their attention onto Norbert and Treeflower as they both smile to each other before Norbert begins his speech.
"So as you may or may not have known, me and Treeflower have been in the hospital for the last few days. The reason? Well, allow us to show you."
Norbert then picks Lily up and shows her to everyone in the house.
"Everyone, this is our first born daughter. Her name is Lily Rose Beaver!"
Everyone immediately says "Awwww" in unison to how cute she is, especially Rose since she's honored to have her first name as the middle name for her new granddaughter.
"And that's not all. Treeflower, if you may do the honors."
Treeflower then smiles and picks up Petunia and shows her to everyone.
"And this is our second born daughter. Her name is Petunia Daisy Beaver!" , Treeflower announces to everyone.
Everyone says "Awwwww" once again in unison, as they all think that both of their daughters are very cute.
"Oooh , your daughters are very cute!" , Wanda exclaims cheerfully.
"Awww thanks Wanda!" , Treeflower smiles before she notices that all of her female friends' stomachs have gotten bigger. "Wow, are you girls all…" Treeflower asks before she gets her sentence finished by Glodean.
"Pregnant? Yes, me and Barry are supposed to have a daughter in a month."
"Me and Bingy are due in two months and we're supposed to be having a boy and a girl."
"And me and Wolfee and having a girl in three months as well!"
Norbert and Treeflower are both very impressed and happy for all their friends becoming parents as well.
"Wow we're very happy for you guys! You all must be so excited to become parents just like us." , Norbert says cheerfully.
"So have you thought of any names for your babies yet?" , Treeflower asks.
"Me and Barry were thinking of naming our daughter Shaherah, right Barry?"
"Yeah, I remember when we first thought of that name. I thought it was really groovy."
"Me and Bingy are gonna name our daughter Monica and our son Chandler. You excited to be parents, Bingy?" , Wanda asks her husband excitedly.
"Always have, always will be!" , Bing says cheerfully.
"And me and Wolffee are gonna name our daughter Whimsy. What do you think of that name, dear?"
"I think it's a delightful name for our daughter. I can't wait for her to come into the world and meet all of our loving friends and family."
Treeflower giggles.
"Oh how wonderful! I'm sure Lily and Petunia would love to meet all of them and be friends, just like we all are."
"Yeah I'm sure they would." , Norbert adds.
Just then, Stacy and Chelsea come over to their brother while he holds the babies.
"Hey Norbert! I see that you have two daughters now, and I guess that makes me and Chels their aunts now."
"That's right. I bet Lily and Petunia are very excited to meet their new aunts." , Norbert says smiling. Just then, Chelsea comes over.
"Hey Stacy, introducing yourself to the new daughters?"
"Yes I am, and look how adorable they are!"
"Oh they're very adorable alright.", Norbert chuckles.
Just then, Lily and Petunia start making more happy baby noises to their new aunts, eager to meet them. Stacy and Chelsea think this is really cute.
"Awww, it looks like Lily and Petunia like us already! I can't wait to see how they grow up. I bet Lily will be nice,smart and strong, just like me and big bro"
"I mean, Lily being similar to you is a possibility. Just don't be disappointed if she grows up differently.", Chelsea reminded her sister.
"Well I didn't quite say she 'will' grow up like me now did I?" Stacy retorts matter-of-factly.
Norbert chuckles at this.
"Alright girls, settle down. You don't wanna scare your nieces, now do you?" , he says calmly and sternly to them.
"We're sorry big bro . We'll keep it under control, right Chels?"
"Yeah, don't wanna get off on the wrong foot with them." , Chelsea says while twiddling her fingers.
Norbert chuckles as he sees more of his friends and family were eager to see his daughters.
Lily and Petunia giggle more as Norbert and Dagget's friends and family walked over to Norbert and his daughters, starting with Barry and Glodean.
"So these are the little ones you've been telling us about? I really dig how adorable they are." Barry says smiling.
"I agree, they're very adorable." , Glodean adds.
"You know it would be really groovy if one of them grows up to love music like you two do, they could jam along with us sometimes if they want to." , Barry says to Norbert.
"That does sound like a great idea, but I think we should wait and see what they wanna be in the future. I'm sure they'll grow up to be two great girls." Norbert tells them.
Just then Bing and Wanda, Wolffe and Tracy, and BIg Rabbit come up to Norbert to look at the babies.
"Wow, those are some swell daughters you got there!" Bing says.
"I agree, Petunia looks a lot like you Treeflower!" , Wanda exclaims.
"And Lily looks a lot like you, Norbert! Isn't that cool?" , Wolfee says while smiling.
"That is quite the most interesting thing about your daughters, is that they look just like you!" Tracy adds.
"Yeah it is quite the surprising thing about your daughters, but either way they look really adorable.", Big Rabbit says.
"Thank you all, and yes they do look a lot like us! And we couldn't be happier." Norbert smiles while looking at his happy babies. Lily and Petunia make more happy baby noises as they loved seeing all of their daddy's friends and family. Just then, their uncle and their grandparents show up.
"Wowzers Norb, your little daughters are winning everyone's hearts! Must be because of how cute they are.", Daggett says while looking at his smiling nieces.
"Your brother's right, Norb they're the cutest little babies I've seen since you guys and your sisters were little. Oh how I miss my little babies so much.", Rose says while clutching her heart and smiling at her granddaughters.
"And look where our boy is now. Married to a nice young lady and a father of two beautiful girls who can be anything they want to in life." , Leonard smiles while wrapping his arm around his wife's body.
"Yeah, it really was quite an achievement for me to be the father of two adorable little daughters." Norbert says happily and contently.
Lily and Petunia continue to make happy baby noises until they start sucking on their thumbs again.
"You know mom and dad. I have the feeling that you two will be outstanding grandparents to our daughters." Norbert tells them while smiling.
"You really think so?", Rose asks her son.
"I know so. You two were very great parents to me and Dag and also to Stacy and Chelsea, and I already know that you two will also be fantastic grandparents to our little Lily and Petunia." Norbert says while Treeflower places her hand on her husband's shoulder lovingly, moved by his words.
"Oh Norby. I'm so proud to be the grandmother of your daughters!", Rose says while hugging her son.
"And I'm proud to be the grandfather of your daughters as well.", Leonard says while hugging his son as well.
Just then, Treeflower starts talking to all of them.
"I would like to say to everyone here that all of you are gonna make such great aunts, uncles, and grandparents to our wonderful daughters."
"And no need to thank us, the pleasure is all ours.", Norbert adds.
Then all of the partygoers break into a chorus of claps and cheering, while Stump gives his own way of cheering by holding a sign that reads, "WOO!"
Over the course of the next few hours, everyone continues partying with the newfound parents. After a few hours, everyone leaves and now it's just Norbert and Treeflower snuggled up on the couch together holding their newborn daughters like the loving parents they are.
"That was a very fun party…" , Norbert says
"Yeah it was…now it's just me, you, and our little daughters." , Treeflower adds while smiling.
Just then, Lily and Petunia let out another tiny yawn and rubbed their eyes signaling that they're tired.
"Oh looks like the babies are sleepy again, I'll put them to bed real quick and then I'll be right back." , Norbert says as he picks up the babies.
"Okay, sweetie." , Treeflower says before he kisses her husband's cheek.
Norbert then brings his newborn daughters to their room upstairs and shows them their nice and comfy cribs.
"Okay girls, this is where you'll be sleeping. You'll have a very good sleep in this nice comfy crib." Norbert says as he gently places Lily in her crib and Petunia in her crib.
"Do you want me to sing you girls another lullaby?"
Lily and Petunia nod yes.
"Alright then. Daddy'll sing you a very nice lullaby to help you two get to sleep."
Norbert then grabs his prized guitar and he starts to sing. Treeflower was waiting for Norbert to get back but she was curious as to what his husband was playing. She then walked upstairs to Lily and Petunia's room as Norbert continued to sing. Treeflower smiled and sighed contently as Norbert was being such an amazing father to their daughters.
When Norbert got done singing,he sees that his daughters are fast asleep. Norbert smiled at them dreamily.
"Goodnight girls, Daddy loves you two so much", Norbert kissed Lily and Petunia on the forehead softly,"Sweet dreams my little angels."
Norbert was about to leave but then he sees Treeflower right at their door smiling lovingly to her husband.
"That was really sweet of you, Norby. You're already a very amazing dad to our girls."
"Thank you, Treeflower. I just know you'll be an amazing mother to our daughters as well." Norbert smiles back to her.
Treeflower blushes and giggles at this.
"Oh Norby…"
Then, Treeflower and Norbert share a loving kiss as proud parents together for a few seconds before taking one last glance at their beautiful daughters,sighing contently before they go back downstairs on the couch together and snuggle up together to watch TV together for the rest of the night.
