"What do you think you know about me,Vader?" Padme repeated, loudly.

Vader huffed. "I will not discuss this with you now, I can not."

"What do you think you know about me, Vader? I will not stop asking until I get a truthful answer!"

"You are not ready for an answer! I am truthful with you. do not insinuate otherwise!"

You're not truthful with me, if you were you would have given me an answer the first time that I asked! You say I am not ready for an answer! That is not true! The truth is there is something you don't want me to know! I thought you trusted me, I... I thought I could trust you!

"You think you are ready for answers, but trust me, you are not!"

"Goodbye, Vader." She said, softly, turning away from him.

"Look at me!" Vader exclaimed. Padme kept her eyes on a wall, then she strode over to her wardrobe, she opened it, and began throwing some clothing on the floor. She took out a suitcase. Vader was suddenly standing behind her picking up the items she dropped. "Step back!" Padme did as she was told. Vader stepped in front of the wardrobe, and placed Padme's belongings back inside. He slammed the wardrobe shut. "What are you doing?" He asked. his voice low.

"If you don't tell me what I need to know, I am leaving."

You don't need to know the answer to the question you are asking. He turned to face her again. "You need to know that you are safe— with me. You need to know that you have a home to sleep in, and food to eat. You need to know that you are in good health, and that your health is improving everyday. You need to know, you are not alone, I am here with you. You need to know who you are, Padme. That is all you need to know."

"I'm leaving!" She began to move toward the door.

Vader blocked her. "No you are not!" I need you to be safe!" He gently grabbed her arm, and led her to her bed. "You must vow to me that this conversation is between us. It does not leave this room. If you can promise me that, I will answer your question. I do not think you are ready for this information. However you handle it, I am here for you."

"I vow to you, Vader, that this conversation is between us. Please, answer my question. I need to know."

"You do not need to know, you want to know." Vader replied. "Sit down on your bed."

"Why?" Padme asked, her brown eyes wide.

"You need to sit down. I must buy you a chair for this room", Vader replied. "Sit down, and I will tell you what you want to know."

"Why?" Are you afraid I will faint?"

"Yes",Vader replied, instantly noticing fear in her eyes.

"Yes", she answered. Vader let go of her arm, and she immediately sat on the bed. "Are you going to sit next to me?"

"No", he replied, He stood right in front of the bed, and this was where he was going to stay for this entire conversation, and longer if needed He was acting as a wall, blocking her from exiting this room, and this house. Vader knew that once he answered her, she would want to run.
