Chapter 7; Embarrassment
(Ryder and Marshall are both covered in pee)
(Ryder goes to his bathroom and showers quickly while Marshall waits right inside his room)
(Meanwhile)
(Rocky finishes the song and beats Skye.)
Rocky: That's why you should never challenge me to a game of Pup-Pup-Boogie!
Skye: That was close though! I had you for a second too!
Rocky: Yeah. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go get Marsh… Wait… Where's Marshall?
Alex: I don't know. Last I saw, he was going down the elevator with Ryder and had a worried look on his face.
Rocky: Uh-oh, (Whispering to Skye) Skye. I need you to distract Alex while I go check on Marshall.
Skye: (Whispers) On it!
Skye: So Alex… I need to show you something outside on the balcony!
Alex: Okay!
(Skye and Alex walk out onto the balcony)
Rocky: Zuma, come with me. We need to find Marshall.
Zuma: Oh okay!
*Rocky and Zuma get on the elevator)
(Zuma steps in a puddle on the elevator)
Zuma: Eww! What is this? *Sniff* EWWWW! It's pee!
Rocky: Shhhhh… That's why we need to find Marshall.
Zuma: Why? Was it him that peed in the elevator?
Rocky: I think so. Let's go find him.
(They head down the elevator)
(Back to Ryder)
(Ryder finishes showering)
Ryder: Okay now let's get to Katie's, Marshall.
Marshall: Okay. I'm kind of tired of sitting in my own pee, and it smells.
Ryder: Yeah. And in my room.
Marshall: Heh… Sorry.
Ryder: It's okay. But from here on out, just wear the diaper. Once you can walk again, then you can stop wearing them.
Marshall: Okay… I deserve it.
(Rocky knocks on Ryder's door)
Rocky: Hey, Ryder?
Ryder: Yeah?
Rocky: Have you seen Marshall?
Ryder: Yeah, he's. In here. You can come in if you want, just prepare yourself…
(Rocky opens the door and Zuma walks in first)
Zuma: Prepare for what? Oh, Eww! Why does it smell like pee in here too?!
(Marshall looks upset)
Marshall: Hey guys…
Rocky: Hey Marshall. Sorry I didn't take you down… I should have not played the game but I couldn't help myself… this is my fault. I'm really sorry.
Marshall: Don't blame it on yourself, I could have not cared what Alex thought about me in a diaper. I wanted to hide it and this is what I get. It's not your fault… It's mine. Now, I have to go to Katie's, explain what happened, and can't take the diaper off until I can walk again.
Ryder: Don't be so hard on yourself Marshall. Besides, this isn't the only time this room has smelled like pee (looking over at Zuma)
Zuma: What?! It wasn't my fault! I didn't know Chase was still awake downstairs!
Ryder: About a month ago, Zuma got up to go to the bathroom and didn't know that Chase was downstairs. Zuma heard him and thought it was an intruder and so did Chase. So, Chase started to chase him down and tackled Zuma to the ground and when they both got up, there was a pretty large puddle in the middle of the floor. And of course, Zuma didn't want anyone else to know and since Katie's wasn't open at 2:45 AM, he couldn't take a bath, so he slept in here with me.
(Rocky tries not to laugh)
Ryder: And one night, Rocky got up to get a drink and couldn't see the water bowl. It was Halloween and there was a human skeleton behind the water bowl. Rocky had accidentally stepped into the water bowl and jumped backwards into the skeleton, which fell on him and freaked him out enough to make him pee himself.
Rocky: How was I supposed to know that there was a skeleton there?!
Ryder: See Marshall, everyone has accidents. It's not that big of a deal. All we need to do is try to prevent them from happening the same way over and over. That's why you can't take off the diapers anymore. Not because you're in trouble.
Ryder: Now, let's get to Katie's.
Zuma: Can I come? I kinda stepped in the puddle on the way down the elevator.
Ryder: That's fine. Rocky?
Rocky: You know what… I probably need to stay back and make sure Alex doesn't mess anything up. You guys go ahead without me.
Ryder: *Laughs* Alright, suit yourself.
