Chapter 7:
There they were, alone, and not a single person around for miles, the spot was a small patch of grass hidden under a series of brush, the beach a few yards away. And indeed, it was an isolated place. And he loved that idea. No one to see them, where its just him, and her.
He found himself, staring, taking her in, admiring every inch of her body, something he did for years, but now, he can do it without risking getting a broken nose from her.
"Penny for your thoughts?" she asked.
"Oh, not much, just, how could I have resisted you for so long, you're so beautiful.".
She was blushing, she has no idea how, but he always makes her blush. "Stop it. You're making me blush.".
"Is that a bad thing?" he asked, teasingly. "So, you said you needed to talk? Is there something wrong?".
She shook her head, "No, no problem, except, my dad knows that I am in a relationship, and he wishes to know with who.".
Bradley, winces, looks like he'll be meeting the soon-to-be in-laws soon. "Lemme guess, he wants to meet me.".
"Yes.".
"But we are under the same chain of command. Do you know what will happen if we get caught?".
"I know, but my dad said he will let it slide if he meets you.".
"I don't know, sounds a little suspicious, don't you think?".
She knew he was right, but they need to think about something.
Bradley had an idea. "We could lie, say I am a pianist at the Hard Deck bar.".
But it didn't pan out. "He'll know that your navy.".
"Damn it, ah well, it was worth to mention.".
"I guess we just need to come clean." She suggested.
He didn't like it, but he knew that she was right, it was either they take their chances now, or live a lie forever.
"When and where?".
She smiles, "My place, next Saturday.".
"Just send me the time.".
She kisses him and then lies down next to him, her head resting on his chest. "I love you, Brad.". He smiles. "And I you." Kissing the top of her head.
