Arya's mind was racing. the queen had spoken to her. And not only that, it seemed they might be able to help one another. All she had to do was get her father to accept whatever proposal the king had made. She didn't know exactly how she was going to do it, but she would have to try.

It did seem strange to her though. The king and queen didn't seem to be particularly close. She didn't really know if they loved each other or if the marriage was simply something they had agreed to, assuming there was a choice at all. That was one reason she didn't want to marry. She didn't see the need to, and she probably wouldn't have a say in the matter if she did.

But maybe that was another thing she and Cersei shared. The queen had been her age once. And maybe she had felt just like Arya did now.

As she considered all this, she started inside. But then she heard voices and stopped. It seemed she wouldn't have to do anything after all. It seemed the decision had been made. But if she had done nothing, would she still be rewarded? Or was this the end of any partnership she had formed?
