Although I love this story and Ling Yue I have thought too much about if I would forgive him or at least so easily. What if Anxin found out about his secret earlier on? How would it change the dynamic?

Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling Chapter 10
Once inside Anxin doesn't know what to do with herself. As Ling Yue got inside they had to keep him in his shoes. For a moment she almost regrets giving him back his slippers if only so she would have something to do in retrieving them. Once Ling Yue got settled inside it came to her. "Let me get you some water and maybe some food? Oh I have the first aid kit here..." She babbles quickly trying to ignore the one thing they hadn't talked about, what he had wanted to say when he had found her and she just couldn't... Anxin busies herself fetching them both some water and cuts him some fruit. He watches her a moment before replying "Thank you" and he gratefully he takes the water and drinks a sip. It isn't his favorite one but it will have to do. Once she is done she looks away then decides it is best to lay it out there. " Thank you for stopping him. I hate I caused you trouble." Ling Yues tries to interrupt but she stops him. "Let me finish. You got hurt because of me. Thank you for protecting me. You have done this twice now. Even after I hit you with my scooter you were there to help me." His gaze softens and he says quietly. "You're never trouble to me. I was so worried and relieved now you are safe." Anxin again tries not to turn red but feels like she fails. She is glad she doesn't have all her lights on.
"Ai Li thought you would say that." She says lightly trying to steer the conversation. Anxin needs to give herself a moment as she sips and enjoys a few bites of fruit . "I am glad she came when she did too." Ling Yue nods after chewing thoughtfully as he listens. "It was so strange. I tried to kept my distance while talking to Du Ming. He seemed mostly normal, even apologizing to me. I hoped to wrap it up quickly. Suddenly he went crazy and was shouting at me blaming me for losing his job and all sorts of things. It had gotten dark and no one was around. The next thing I knew he was dragging me and I couldn't get away." She wrapped her arms around herself shuddering. " I wish I had hit him harder for treating you like that, you did nothing to deserve it don't blame yourself." Ling Yue said looking softly at her before continuing. "He is not a good kind. But you don't have to worry about him anymore." Anxin nodded and shook her head as if to clear it. They had eaten most of the fruit while talking. "You must want to get clean. Why don't you go shower? I'm sorry I don't have anything for you to change into but ..." She trailed off.
She gets him a towel and while he is washing up she can hardly concentrate. Anxin could barely focus on getting items out of her first aid kit. So much has happened she didn't know where to begin. She couldn't help coming back to her message and sending his watch back as well as the text we need to talk. Not tonight she couldn't tonight. She would focus on helping his injuries and rest. Anxin grabbed pillows and options for heat and ice treatments. She had plenty of them from hard days doing deliveries. He would understand that just because he saved her didn't mean everything was back to the way it was before...Oh but she couldn't help wondering if maybe she had judged him harshly and Ling Yue did care. What if he didn't but he was taking advantage of an opportunity and how did he find her...
Ling Yue came out. He had hung up her towel out of the way. "You can shower now." He stated quietly but she shook her head. "Let me get you more comfortable first." Anxin insisted. "The shower helped." He offered quickly but Anxin held firm. "Good. Now let's see what will help you more." Thankfully it mostly seemed to be his ribs and his leg which where the most sore. Anxin gave him the heat and cold options and propped his legs up. She got him pain medication. All was fine until a few cuts on his cheek chest and arms needed ointment but she steeled herself.
Ling Yue seemed to take it as his time to speak. "I was so worried when I couldn't find you at first." He admits. Anxin almost drops the cotton swab she was using. She quickly averts her gaze and nods pretending to be absorbed in getting more ointment. "When you didn't respond to my message and I couldn't find you at your job I came to look for you." He explains. "At first I didn't worry as much but then as time went on and you didn't show up..." He trails off. "Anxin I.." "Ling Yue I am sorry I can't right now." She jumps up but he catches her and pulls her close. "Please just give me a moment." Anxin feels awkward as his arms are around her holding her tight while hers are at her sides. "I know tonight has been too much. I only want to say I hope we can talk later." Ling Yue holds her tight breathing in her hair. She can't help but think over all of the mixed emotions with this man. She just for a moment relaxes. "Later." She murmurs. The other things can be figured out later. He slowly releases her saying "I'm glad you are alright Anxin. I am just out here if you need anything. Rest well and good night." Trying to stop her head from whirring she enjoys a hot cleansing shower to wipe away all that has happened. It doesn't work completely but it is an improvement.
As Anxin gets ready for bed she goes back and forth like a tennis match. Ling Yue saved you twice now. He lied to you. As she brushes her teeth. Ling Yue is very committed to you and it can't be just about the shares anymore. He is scheming and always making plans. As she cleanses her face. Ling Yue always takes care of you. He caused you so much trouble and heartache for so long. As she brushes her hair quickly before laying down.. He is rich and she is poor even before when he was Eightie they argued about that , how could they handle a much more intimate relationship with all their differences? Later, finally Anxin comes back to later and falls asleep.
