May 1st dear diary we got home late yesterday evening from our almost month long vacation. We got home in time for me to help with a major surprise. I helped Auntie Beth and Kelly Announce they are both going to be mommies again. Kelly and Manny have been selected to adopt a friend's baby who will be born with a special ability their baby is missing its left hand at the wrist. Elliot and Beth were chosen by Silvia's aunt and uncle making the baby not only her sister but also her double cousin as Her mom's brother married her dads sister. They are expected to arrive the 1supst/sup week of November. Kelly and Manny's little one the 4supth/sup or 5supth/sup and auntie Beth's around the 7th
"Today in clinic we saw Manny who had split his eyebrow open he walked into an open door, Elsie with help from Dr. McStuffins was able to suture his cut it needed eight stitches. We also saw six stable hands with splinters and other minor issues we had dad put in a fixit ticket to have the door to the barn sealed. I also was at work when Adair's new baby sister was born. I am working the evening shifts right now as Candice is away, and Amber is still recovering from her surgery. She is allowed to work an hour or two daily but no more than that. Signing off we have 10 moms in labor including Timothy's mom Marie's mom And Elizabeth's mom. /span/p
"May 5th dear diary we had such a busy night the 3rd that I spent yesterday just resting I was wore out, I didn't even get home until 7 yesterday morning and went straight to bed. I got up about 1 and dad sat us down, he will be needing major heart surgery in the next few weeks. from what mom and Elsie explained he has a problem where his heart isn't paced right or something like that, so he needs a device implanted and he needs something called a valve replaced. This is the 3rd operation he will have had for the same problems. We will be busy through at least the 20th so will write as soon as I can.
"May 20th dear diary dad came out of surgery just fine he is on complete rest until the middle of June at the earliest, as it was a slightly more complicated surgery than expected. As I have more than enough hours Violet has me staying home to help out. This is important as mom had to have her shoulder surgery earlier than expected. As she took a fall and re-injured the joint and instead of next month her surgery was yesterday.
"As a junior midwife I will attend and as many births as I possibly can. Each junior midwife needs 10,000 hours before she is 18. At 14 I have accumulated almost 4000, which puts me ahead of schedule I may be able to try for my full midwife at 17, this was explained to all of us this last week. Basically at 17 I may have my midwife but would still need the 2 year collage finishing degree so at either 19 or 20 I will be a full midwife. Mom and I discussed it, and we are going to try the fast track and switch to slow as needed. In clinic we saw a lot of injuries to children as today is the first official really warm day this year, we saw Donny who had tripped and split his chin with a little help Elsie put in 4 stitches. We also saw Pepe who had gotten his hand caught in a door he was sent through he has 3 broken fingers. I need to sign off mom is having Elsie Lilly Olivia and I go on several royal visits. June 1stdear diary I arrived home last night along with Olivia Elsie and Lilly are at a young nurses camp through the 11th. Olivia asked to talk to me she has decided a year for her internship that being a midwife may be what she is interested in, she like Elsie is attending the new school and like her will be in Dorrie's family house. She decided this while on vacation and she is excited to do so. She has asked Violet, and she is to be a junior midwife in training. This means she will attend scans and appointments but not births as of right now. She will also work the front desk of the birthing center. Speaking of which we now have a 3suprd/sup full time midwife Kelly's aunt Ginny. She started 3 weeks ago and loves being near her family. i am signing off as we are going away for the next 3 weeks, i will write the 21st
June 22nd/s dear diary sorry for not writing last night we didn't arrive home till after 2 this morning due to a broken down carriage. I just woke up about half an hour ago, we are spending today celebrating the 1st day of summer and Olivia's 10th birthday she is a year older than Elsie. She had a huge surprise her mom came to visit for the next 10 days. She and Lilly are staying here again this year as their family needs some extra time in America, We all enjoyed her birthday party she asked Elizabeth to make her a strawberry cake with Strawberry cream cheese frosting. It was decorated to look like Olivia's puppy spot, and it was beautiful. Signing off mom has asked me to help clean up as our house cleaner has an earache.
June 30th dear diary sorry for not writing the last 8 days I had to help in both clinic and at the birthing center. It was crazy at both locations. We start school tomorrow as we are now on a sort of weird schedule July to October with 1 break for the 4th then fall break the 1st 2 weeks of October then school through thanksgiving and then off till February. I will actually be taking a couple collage courses this term. They are a history of royals course and an advanced midwife course. This is very exciting as at just over 6 weeks shy of 15 I am starting collage level courses.
Mom also started courses early and she earned her business degree at just shy of 20 it would have been 19 but she took time off as I was born when she just turned 19. Yes, mom was a teen mom but who really gives a shit sorry for my language. A royal lady recently told her after she found this out that mom should have given me up for adoption. But she with help from my dad Grandma and both dads mom and grandma raised me into the woman I am today. I am signing off till the 4th so i can get back in my school routine
July 4th dear diary today we celebrated Independence Day which was fun we ate lots of yummy food took care of some minor injuries in clinic. Then tonight we sat in the tow square and watched fireworks this was amazing especially for me as for the 1st time I can remember I was able to watch most of the show with thought my earphones. I did need them for the big finale. But you know what I was proud of my self for making it through 95% of the show without them. We then went and made sundaes for dessert its time for me to go to bed I will write when I get a chance.
July 20th the last 16 days have been busy between work school a nasty sinus infection and helping out auntie Beth, who has badly broken her arm. She will be ok, but the break required major surgery as it was an open compound fracture which according to Elsie, means that the bones went through her skin. This is a very bad as it can cause serious infection. She was in the hospital until this morning and every day Elsie will have to give her antibiotics through a special line called a pick line. She and Silvia are staying in the castle as Elliot is also out of commission, he had to have his Gallbladder removed. He is staying with Kelly so that we can focus on helping auntie Beth recover. They are both on sick leave through the end of next month, but they will be ok before their new baby Girl arrives yes, they will be having another little girl. Kelly and Manny's baby is a boy, we found all this out the signing off mom needs me to help make dinner as Mrs. Lopart has a really bad headache.
July 30th I have been busy dealing with everything I told you the Last time I wrote plus cooking as Mrs. Lopart had a major stroke. She will probably never cook again as she can't use her right side and talking is hard for her. For now, with Help from a few kitchen workers I am managing it. Mom is finding a new chef. I just found out that My friend Sarah and Apprentice chef has earned her title and her first job will be here. She just turned 18 so is 3 years older than me she is in a wheelchair due to a spine thing I can't remember the name of. We were in the same school group from when she was 6 and I was 3 so 12 years. We have been very close friends ever since then and when she moved at age 9, we wrote letters every week. She moved back here just over a week ago and boy was I surprised. She had told mom not to tell me. I am signing off till the 4supth/sup as I am working doubles the next 3 days
