May 4th dear diary we arrived home extremely late last night as the motor home blew a tire. We spent today doing several loads of laundry attending various classes and lessons. We then went to an incredibly special meeting for Ellen and Daniel. They have with mom's permission bought their own house just 2 blocks north of here. It is a duplex they will share with Madeline and Ian. The two cottages are now going to be My sewing room and Rebeca's lab and steam project area the attic will become Savannah's practice space.
In other family news Emily has gotten her first commercial for a national campaign for Subway. Clara is becoming quite the little chef with only a bit of help from me, she made a pasta bake for supper. And in huge news GWEN AND GEORGIA ARE OFFICALLY RUNNERS WOBBLY RUNNERS, BUT STILL AT 19 MONTHS OLD THEY STARTED RUNNING KIND OF. THIS IS SPECIAL BECAUSE WITH THEIR DISABILTY THEY ARE A WAYS BEHIND OTHER KIDS THEIR AGE. Violet made the advanced swim team and Rose has been selected first chair Violin in the kids Orchestra, I have entered a quilt in a national show and Elsie has entered a short story in a contest through a kid's magazine. Signing off mom wants us to go to bed early.
May 5th dear diary we spent yesterday at appointments for Savannah and Rebeca, they will both need glasses and several fillings at the dentist. They were not being taken care of very well by their aunt who would not let Uncle Chris see them or anything they were living with her as like I said their mom passed away 2 years ago. They are with us as she lost custody of them 2 weeks before he passed away. we found out they are both severely underweight and Rebeca has asthma that was not being treated so we need to get that under control.
To help them along with Georgia and Gwen gain weight mom bought things to make protein power shakes and lots of butter to add to recipes. We all had allergy testing yesterday as well we all need to avoid some of these nuts, cinnamon, citrus, blueberries, cucumbers with skin, chocolate, and as of today we have added soy sesame and strawberries to this list. This will make things a little harder for mom and I who do the shopping, but we are used to keeping everyone's food in their area of the fridge and pantry. We all have a shelf and drawer in the pantry and a space in the fridge with our name on it we all know not to touch other people's food that has an allergen we have.
Mom went and bought a bigger fridge yesterday so we each have more space in it. We also have two freezers full of meat and treats. As for how we eat mom and I cannot eat red meat unless we have my aunt or a friend send it to us as storebought red meat will make us both have severe migraines, dad cannot have pork it gives him heartburn, we all eat a lot of seafood ground turkey and chicken. We all love our veggies but not so much fruit. When we got the groceries in Clara had me help her prep 24 freezer meals. Signing off through the 15th we are going to Maine to finish gathering the girl's stuff.
May 15th dear diary we arrived home last night and have all their stuff. They got it all set up before we went to see Ellen's new house it is so beautiful. We then took everyone out for supper at a local Chinese place as that is what Madeline was craving. We then went shopping as Rebeca and Savannah have barely any clothes. And the rest of us need several summer outfits. We are going formal dress shopping in New York next week as we have several extraordinary events coming up. Including The Baptism of Rebeca, she was preparing to do this in her old church. It will happen on her 11th birthday next month.
In family news Elsie won the short story contest which is amazing as she was the youngest person to enter according to the letter she received. I found out yesterday my quilt took 2nd in the teen division, and I am going to the next stage of competition. Rebeca has been asked to attend a special science camp for girls in the steam field.
Signing off mom needs me to watch the little 6 so she can take the other 3 for some groceries.
May 20th sorry I didn't write for the last 5 days we ended up needing to go to my great grandmas she was on hospice and passed the night before last, I will write the first we are going to Paris for the funeral
June 1st dear diary we got home late last night from our trip it was good but sad. We dropped Rebeca at her science camp before dropping Violet at swim camp, Rose at her music camp Emily at acting camp and Elsie at young writer's camp. Tomorrow Savannah leaves for her ballet camp and I am going on a 2 week quilt retreat I will write the 15th.
June 15th dear diary we arrived home from our camps yesterday, and today Rebecca Tommy MinJun Kai Kya Phil Lil and Angelica were Baptized into our church on Rebeca's 11th birthday. this was an incredibly special day as not only did that happen, but Clara Rose Violet and Savannah earned their bibles. We celebrated with a huge feast and Rebeca has gotten a puppy she named Sebastian he is a goldendoodle. He was her big gift dad took her to pick him out yesterday. She is such an amazing young lady. She has had a tough life but is working through it. she loves science and has been offered a scholarship to a local steam based private school. She has accepted we are all going to private schools of our interest this year, as the adults are all working full time.
In other news Gwen said her first real word today she said Clara it was so funny. Georgia also said her first word it was Elsie they are getting so big. We also found out that Clara is going to be on a local kids cooking show, Emily got a role in a tv show about the Disney princesses as children she is playing Mulan's best friend. I found out my quilt will be going to the national finals I came in 2nd in the whole state for teens. Savannah has been cast as a mouse in her schools Cinderella ballet, Elsie won another writing contest. Rose has moved up to an even better orchestra and violet won 3 meets, Rebeca came in 3rd at a science fair, signing off I am exhausted.
June 30th dear diary sorry for not writing we ended up having to go to Dad's grandparent's funeral they passed in a major accident his aunt was also injured. She should be ok, but it will take a lot of time. as she has fractured 3 vertebrae along with her shoulder kneecap and 4 ribs. She is still in the hospital but will move to rehab within the next month. This has been a scary time, but everything will hopefully be ok.
In other news we are moving again as dads building our dream home, it will be on a 20-acre piece of land, the others are moving to this area as well the adults were able to get an amazing deal for all the land. We move the last week of august and it is only 10 minutes from all our schools. I am attending a fancy local arts school I have decided to focus on my arts and crafts voice and piano are fun but not my favorites. Emily is the only one being homeschooled as she is on set 5 days a week. Ellen is her teacher and guardian on set, Violet has been accepted into the local sports school on a swimming scholarship. Elsie will attend the same school as I am at but in the young writer's section, Rose is at a local extremely hard to get into music school. Clara is attending a school for young chef's and Savannah is at a local dance academy. Georgia and Gwen are going to the daycare ran by Jamie's aunt which is near dad's shop. I am signing off until the 10th we are going on a special Disney vacation.
July 10th dear diary we arrived home to a small crisis mom's shop had a big flood it will be ok, but it needs lots of repairs. I will write when I get a chance.
July 15th dear diary as of today mom's shop is up and running again it wasn't as severely damaged as we had 1st thought. This is the 3rd time her shop has flooded so she's in the process of moving to an even bigger storefront. This is extremely exciting she will only be 15 minutes from the new house and the babies can go to work with her the building has a small daycare and preschool. I can't wait to see the house when it's done it's a farmhouse with enough space for each of us to have our own room and every 2 kids share a bathroom. Ellen Daniel Madeline and Ian are moving to the same area we are they will each have a plot of land of their own. This is a project we have wanted to do for years as we want to be able to live off what we grow and butcher ourselves. Dad's aunt will live in a wing of our house with my French grandma who recently was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. We are calling it the grandma wing lol. This wing will also have space for several full time care assistants. I am signing off till the 20th I need to help prepare for the move.
July 20th, we moved last weekend instead of the last week in august the houses were done early each room is set up with exactly the theme we chose. It is a beautiful house with lots of windows and each kid's room has a window seat. We are completely moved in and today Savannah turned 6 her big ticket item is a trip to see a professional ballet company put on Swan lake. She is as sweet as can be and yes, she has some challenges due to having a mild form of arthritis. But she has overcome these and other challenges at an incredibly early age. Rebecca also has the same kind of arthritis but hers is moderate we have been told they will both get worse over time, but it will never stop them. I am signing off until the 1st we need to finish setting up the house.
