"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Marmalade screamed in absolute terror as Wolf's ghost entered his body. Now possesing the guinea pig, Wolf's ghost began punching the heck out of Marmalade's face with his powerful robot fists.
The Ghoul Girls were stunned. But nowhere near as stunned as the Bad Guys. They all began to burst into tears.
"I can't believe Wolf is GOOOOONE!" Shark walked in despair, crying as he dropped to his knees.
"H-He was so young!" Webs sobbed. "He's too young to be a ghost!"
But Snake, he took it the worst. He could hardly say a word. He just cried. He cried and cried and cried.
Bridget was ready to join the others in their mourning, but she saw something that made her smile. "GUYS! LOOK!"
"Wolf's still alive!" said Vampirina.
The Bad Guys seized their crying and saw Wolf weakly sitting up. He was battered, but not fatally injured. "Oh, my aching-"
"WOLF!" Snake, Webs, and Shark cheered as they body-slammed Wolf in a group hug.
"I can't believe you're alive!" Snake gasped, still in shock. "We just saw your ghost pop out of your body! We thought you were dead!"
Wolf tilted his head. "My...ghost? W-What are you talking about?"
The Bad Guys turned and watched Marmalade collapse and outcold. His face was swollen and several of his teeth had been knocked out from all the punches he gave himself. Wolf's ghost exited the guinea pig's body and floated to join the baffled animals.
Webs blinked. "Wait a sec! Wait a sec! If Wolf's alive. Then...who is that?!"
Wolf's ghost smiled and poofed in a blue cloud, revealing her true form. It was Madame Spook! "Surprise!" she singsonged, waving her hands.
"Madame S?!" Snake exclaimed as everyone else laughed. "Are you-?! Were you-?! This whole time?! Wow! I did not see that coming!"
"You were great, Madame S!" said Rachel's voice. "You finally scared someone on purpose!"
Everyone turned to see Rachel, but gasped together when they saw her. For her apperance had completely changed.
Rachel's flawless fair skin was now green as a lime. Her beautiful blonde hair was black and frizzy. She had a long hooked nose with a big black wart with a wiry hair poking out of it.
"Rachel?!" Wolf couldn't believe his eyes. "Is...this what you really look like?!"
Rachel laughed before shaking her head. "No, it's not. It's just a side effect when Sasha and I do really powerful magic. But it's only temporary."
Wolf blinked. "Wait, Sasha too?!"
"Yeah..." said a muffled voice. Walking up beside Rachel was Sasha, but she had her blue hood pulled over her face. Everyone saw that the skin on her arms were now green like Rachel's.
Rachel gave her sister a nudge. "Come on, sis. It's okay."
Sasha sighed in defeat before lowering her hood. Her face was as green as her arms. Her silky brown hair was now oily and purple. Her nose was now long and pointed upward. She had a large wart on her left upper cheek and another wart on right side of her chin. She looked down in embarrassment.
Wanting to comfort her, Wolf approached Sasha. "Hey, it's okay, Sash-"
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" With a roaring voice, a huge beast landed in front of Wolf.
It looked like another wolf. But this wolf was bigger with much bigger muscles! He had grey fur, a long mane, and a long, bushy tail. But Wolf noticed several abnormal things about him. This wolf had spiked elbows and shoulders, solid green eyes, and his claws and teeth were a lot more sharper! Terrified, Wolf and his friends watched in horror as the wolf creature's muzzle opened into four and released an ultrasonic howl that sent Wolf flying right into his friends.
Before any of the Bad Guys can collect their thoughts, tendrils of gauze wrapped around them tightly. They looked up and saw some kind of mummy, who happened to be the one responsible. Wolf sat there frozen with fear as the wolf-like monster stomped over and loomed over him, snout to snout. "You're not going anywhere..." the monster growled.
Wolf's eyes grew impossibly wide. He felt himself pee a little.
"Nonononono! Blitz! Get away!" Sasha yelled. The wolf monster turned and saw Sasha pulling on his tail. "They're not bad! They're our friends!"
"Friends?" The mummy scoffed. "Yeah, right."
"We're serious, Snare-oh!" Rachel retored. "Now, let the go!"
Sighing, the mummy named Snare-oh freed the Bad Guys. But Wolf didn't dare move. He was still petrified of this wolf monster named Blitz, who was still growling at him. Sasha cut in between the two and gently shoved the bigger wolf away. "Anyway, Wolf, this is Blitzwolfer, Blitz for short. He's an alien, just like Snare-oh over here." She gestured to Snare-oh, who was tying up Marmalade in a tightly wound cocoon of his own bandages.
At that moment, several police cars arrived on the scene. Stepping out of the cars weren't human cops. They were monster cops. However, one of the occupants who approached the group wasn't a cop.
"Dr. Fangwell?!" Sasha gasped.
"No," The lamia adjusted her glasses. "And it's not Dr. Fangwell. It's Dorothy Hiss from the Transylvania Monster Department of Defense." She reached into her doctor's coat pocket and flashed them her golden skull badge. "Six months ago, one of our forbidden spells was stolen from one of our secret files. I traced it to Spookelton Castle and went undercover to find it. We were able to end the sinister cyclone and the spell was broken. Every monster affected by the spell will return to normal and have no memory of what happened."
The stunned animals watched Marmalade being taken away by the monster police and tossed in the back of their armored trucks.
"So...how did Marmalade pull it off?" asked Wolf.
"He escaped from prison and went into hiding right here where he discovered the existence of magic and monsters. Then, he used his resources to find the forbidden spell that creates a mind control potion. One of the main ingredients were actual undead bones. That's when he created the identity of Mr. Grisby and went to work at Spookelon Castle as an undertaker. That way, he can capture as much living skeletons are he can and work in secret. Once the potion was ready, he served the potion at the festival to all the ghosts and monsters. With the potion ingested, he performed the incantation and the mind control spell went into affect." Dorothy looked over and saw multiple skeletons being interviewed by the police. A skeleton horse spotted Mr. Horseman and galloped towards him.
"DUSTY!" Mr. Horseman cried. He wrapped his arms around his undead companion. Dusty neighed as he snuggled against his master.
"So, that explains what happened to Dusty." said Rachel. "Marmalade must have knocked Mr. Horseman's head off his body and kidnapped Dusty to use him in his potion."
"Yes, but one you defeated Marmalade's brainwashed victims and kept him distracted, we spilled over the cauldron and broke the spell, restoring Dusty and all the other skeletons." Dorothy explained. "So, we can't thank you enough for all your help."
Just then, Rachel and Sasha poofed in a puff of grey smoke. When the smoke cleared, they were back to their human selves again. "Hey! You two are back to normal!" said Wolf. He walked up to Sasha, but Blitzwolfer picked her up away from Wolf and growled at him, causing him to flinch and back away with his hands up.
Sasha frowned. "You don't have to do that, Blitz. He's cool."
"I'll believe it when I see it." Blitzwolfer sneered.
Trying to diffuse the situation, Rachel spoke up. "Anyway, we better head back to the castle to check on Diane and Pirahna."
