Chapter 16
Right now Ash is on the plane with Reisa and Lisia. The three of them are sitting at the table as Ash places two items on the table. Lisia asks, "Those are..."
"These are the Red Orb and the Blue Orb." Ash says. "I suggest not touching any one of them. They have the power to make Groudon and Kyogre perform Primal Reverse, but they will be absorbed into either human or Pokemon's bodies, thus letting it control your mind..."
Reisa and Lisia gulp as Reisa asks, "It seems you have experience..."
"6 years ago, I withness Team Aqua's Leader: Archie being controlled by the Red Orb." Ash says. "My Pikachu was controlled by the Blue Orb."
Ash's current Pikachu flinches as she stares at Ash, and Ash says, "After the orbs are extracted, they are supposed to be destroyed... however, the manifestations of Hoenn's natural energy cause these two orbs to regenerate. Not only they are back in the orb form, but they also switch sides... Red Orb was used to control Kyogre and Blue Orb was for Groudon, but now Red Orb was to control Groudon and thus giving the primal reverse, and the Blue Orb is for Kyogre."
"And that is why Team Magma and Team Aqua are trying to get these, right?" Reisa asks, "We have these orbs, and Kyogre and Groudon are also resting in the Sevestar Region, surely we don't need to worry about them, right?"
Ash stares at her and says, "This was the naive thought that caused my mother and my first Pikachu's life. It is true I have all the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon by my side, but that doesn't mean there is only one of each species of Legendary or Mythical Pokemon. I'm pretty sure both of them already have a Groudon or a Kyogre ready."
Lisia asks, "But how?"
"Team Rocket is behind all of this." Ash says. "All the other 17 teams made a deal with Team Rocket, which is why we're going to take matters into our own hands."
"I see... so where are we going first?" Reisa asks.
"We're heading to Rustboro City. I did mention I don't trust PLA, but I never said I don't trust some of the Champions." Ash says, "We're going to visit Steven Stone."
After arriving at the Devon Corps, Reisa and Ash are the ones who meet the champion. Steven says, "I'm glad that you're able to come, Red."
Red nods and says, "So your father retired?"
"He retired a long time ago." Steven says as he also notices Reisa. "By the way, I saw your Grand Festival match, quite impressive."
Reisa frowns, and Ash says, "I'm sorry, Steven, but Reisa has been depressed after losing to me in that match, it will be better not to put some salt on her wound."
"I see, I'm sorry." Steven says.
"It's fine. I'm glad Red volunteers to teach me some Contest skills." Reisa says.
Ash says, "Anyway if it's for the meeting a few days ago, I must apologize that I've been rude back then."
"I know you have a grudge against the PLA, so I could overlook that." Steven says, "It is just I want to ask about something that relates to Team Magma and Team Aqua."
Ash and Reisa look surprised and Ash says, "Why do you want to talk to us? You could have talked with the PLA about the whole thing."
Steven says, "I could, but I think of all the people, you seem to be trustworthy. Besides, there is also a secret organization beyond the 18 evil organizations in the world that have been targetting them. We can also talk about it."
Ash says, "Very well. I do have some information about the secret organization. Our Cerulean City Gym Leader informed me about them battling a trio of Team Rocket members. However, she was hit by Hypnosis and the last thing she remembered is that all of them were gone from her sight. And the police couldn't find any blood around the area."
"That sounds very strange." Steven says, "I'm glad you share this information with me. Now here is my information. Professor Birch has given me a report. On top of Mt. Pyre, the Red Orb and Blue Orb are forming. We believe Team Magma and Team Aqua are waiting for them to complete so as to take them by force."
"Is that so?" Reisa asks.
Ash says, "In my opinion, there might be more than one Red Orb and Blue Orb in existence."
He takes out a box and opens it, Steven is surprised to see what's inside. "The Blue Orb and the Red Orb?" Steven asks, "But how?"
Ash decides to lie and says, "We managed to get the two orbs from Mt. Pyre. However, we possess them, but there are two more orbs that are forming... meaning that there isn't going to be one for each of them. And I believe that Team Magma and Team Aqua also have each of the orbs."
Steven pales and asks, "And how did you know about this?"
Ash says, "Steven, you're a good man. That's why I want you to keep this a secret. My real name is not Red Satoshi."
Reisa widens her eyes and asks, "Red? Are you sure you're going to do this right here, right now?"
"Of course." Ash says. "My name... is Ash Ketchum."
This causes Steven to widen his eyes in shock, he can't believe what he's hearing. Steven says, "But how did you..."
"I was saved in the last minute, however, I lost everything from that explosion." Ash says. "I rather keep my identity a secret because those teams thought I was dead, and I believe there are spies in the PLA."
"How do you prove you're Ash Ketchum?" Steven asks. Ash says, "A year ago, I battled you at the Masters' 8 Tournament. I used Pikachu, Gengar, and Dracovish to battle you while you use Metagross, Aggron, and Cradily."
"Okay, that's enough for me to confirm you're Ash." Steven says. "We've also met during the Kalos Crisis and I know you're not the one who would just die that easily."
"I am the Chosen one." Ash says. "My journey has been filled with Legendary and Mythical Pokemon. This is also why I was saved at the last second. We have Legendary spies that inform me everything about the evil teams, including this mysterious organization."
"I see... I'm glad you're telling me the truth." Steven says. "So will you help me with stopping Team Magma and Team Aqua?"
Ash says, "Of course, Team Magma and Team Aqua have been working with Team Rocket, and they need to be disbanded. It is not just those two, I will also stop the other groups."
Steven smiles and says, "If that's the case, I have a request, if you may?"
He stands up and calls his son Luke into the office, Steven says, "Luke, this is the Kanto and the Alola Champion Red Satoshi. He is an old friend of mine."
"It is nice to meet you, sir." Luke says.
Ash asks, "Let me guess, you want me to train him? Considering I have been training a lot of people?"
"That is if you mind..." Steven says. "My son has special eyesight known as Diamond's Eye, recently he has been helping me find the spies inside my company."
"Is that so." Ash says. "If I train him, what about your company? Are you sure they won't try to get into your company again?"
Steven says, "We're not going to get any new recruits into the company, so it will be fine."
Ash says, "Since we've been working together, I have a proposal, I want to know if you agree with it?"
Steven stares at Ash before nodding, hearing what he has to say.
After getting out of the company, Luke says, "Mr. Red, I want to ask, deep down inside, you are the leader of the secret organization, right?"
Ash flinches and says, "You seem to be more dangerous than I think..."
"Relax, I'm not going to tell my father about it." Luke says. "Instead, I also wanted to join your team."
"Are you sure about this? You do realize we do necessary kills, right?" Ash asks.
"I don't mind." Luke says. "I have been putting up with them for a long time and I really need to get this feeling out of my body."
"Then welcome to the group." Ash says.
Just then, they notice two people stalking them, and they quickly rush into the Petalburg Woods. Ash quickly takes out the Shield and blocks the bullets, "Who's there? Show yourself!"
Two Team Aqua Grunts show themselves and Ash asks, "What's your goal?"
"We're going to get rid of Diamond's Eye!" As they try to attack, Ash quickly waves the shield and creates a giant Rock Wrecker, crushing them from above.
Luke asks, "Was that Aura? Did you just crush those two?"
"Yeah." Ash says as the giant rock disappears. "And now we have two more bodies that we need to get rid of. Reisa?"
"Of course." Reisa says. Luke says, "Let me help you out. I might be able to spot some blood."
"That will be helpful." Ash says.
Once they finish the mess, they get back to the plane, only to find East and Lisia talking to another boy. Lisia says, "You guys are finally back. We manage to get another new recruit."
She grabs the boy's arm and says, "This is Brendan Birch, and he wants to join us."
"So you're the Leader?" Brendan says. "I've heard a lot from Lisia and I thought I wanted to help you out."
Ash says, "Your last name is Birch, that means you're Professor Birch's son, right?"
"Yeah, I met Lisia and she told me everything about what you guys have been doing, and since our family has been spying for Team Magma and Team Aqua for years, I thought maybe I can help you guys." Brendan says.
Reisa says, "Seriously, Lisia? You just told all of our secrets to him?"
"He's trustworthy." Lisia retorts.
Ash sighs, "I don't like to see comrades fighting for each other, especially since you are family. However, Reisa is right, you shouldn't just reveal anything to strangers. It is a good thing he spies on them instead of vise versa."
Brendan notices Luke and says, "Luke, you're here as well?"
"Yeah, my father wants me to train under Champion Red here, and I thought why not join this Team Alpha?" Luke says.
"It is great for you since you have Diamond's Eye." Brendan says.
Reisa says, "Anyway, Lisia, help me out. We have more bodies that we need to store."
Lisia says, "Right!" After putting the bodies into some sort of tank, Luke asks, "I see... you're using ashes from the dead bodies as fuel for your plane... I must say that is quite clever."
"I'm glad, Professor Keith was the one who come up with the idea. You'll be able to meet him once we get to the Rota Kingdom." Ash says.
East says, "So where are we going next?"
"There is a trainer that I'm interested in, and if I'm right, he should be staying at the Battle Resort." Ash says.
"Okay, then let's go there." East says as he prepares the takeoff.
Here is a new chapter, and Steven knows the whole truth about Ash being alive and even has Luke helping him out. I hope you like this chapter and we'll be getting to the Sinnoh in the next chapter.
