Chapter 12

Within a town, where rain constantly would be falling, the young woman who went by Angel, appeared there.

She held an umbrella within her hands, and her eyes cast upwards towards the sky, as she twirled the key that she had.

"Geez, what a gloomy day."

Angel commented to herself, as she moved through the area.

Behind her, stood a few different shadowy figures, all keeping their distance.

Angel looked back at them, and showed a sight smirk.

"My Messengers, we're looking for woman who commands the water, spread out and find her."

The people who she called her Messengers, spread out on her command, and did what she had been asked to do.

Angel herself earlier had picked up a copy of Sorcerer Weekly, and began reading it to herself, as she walked through the dark clouded day.

When she came across a certain image of Genki, Angel developed a healthy flush on her cheeks.

"My Darling, it seems that you have been gaining even more attention as of late."

Rather than speaking to anyone in particular, she spoke to herself, and hugged her upper body as if she was happy.

Soon enough, one of Angels Messengers came towards her, and whispered in her ear.

"I see, so she's over here, thank you my messenger."

Angel walked towards the outskirts of the town.

She saw a tree, and a young woman with blue hair sat under it.

She had a near emotionless expression on her face, and her eyes displayed loneliness and sadness at the same time.

Angel steeled herself, as she approached the young woman, noting the umbrella that she wore.

"Are you the one called Juvia?"

Juvia looked up towards Angel, showing that she was bequeathing a smile towards the girl.

"...Yes. What do you want?"

Angel showed an even bigger smile.

"I have heard of your accomplishments, Juvia." Angel began as she moved closer. "This rain, it truly is depressing, isn't it?" Juvia turned her head down, giving off a depressed expression on her face. "However, rain doesn't have to be truly depressing. It can be something of the Heavens above."

"Juvia doesn't understand."

Angel, while giving off a sweet smile, began explaining.

"Juvia, I understand what I am saying seems a bit odd, but allow me to explain. I am building a team, so we can soar into the sky. To see what's in the Heavens above, among other things."

Juvia looked confused by what was being said, as the rain poured down between them.

"To...see the blue sky?"

"The blue sky, it really is beautiful Juvia. Come with me, and we shall soar high into the sky. You are a very talented, strong woman, and only the best can be beside me. I deem you one of the best I have seen. Now become, one of my Messengers."

Juvia looked towards Angel, and while thinking she was a bit odd, to see the blue sky that she hadn't seen before...

Being able to go into the sky, and look towards the Heavens above, to be able to see what was beyond the clouds.

Juvia wondered, if that truly could be possible, and if it could, then she'd be able to see what lies beyond there, to see what it was like when clouds and rain didn't block her vision...

It had been five months since Angel had escaped prison, and right now, within Fairy Tail itself, hanging out in the S Class area, together with Mirajane, Laxus, and Erza, Genki sat quietly with some of the people around below them, with Mirajane, Erza, and Genki now having turned seventeen.

Though Laxus seemed to be mostly dismissive of them and would only speak up occasionally, such as to comment on the lack of loud noises usually caused by the other rowdy members of the group.

Mirajane and Erza on the other hand would argue about a number of things.

Genki himself simply enjoyed the peace that they were having, since the more rowdy members of the group were out at the moment. Though, that only made Mirajane wonder what Lisanna and Natsu were doing together.

Genki glanced down to see Carla and Wendy speaking with Cana, which in turn made him lightly smile, glad that she was able to make friends.

Though Genki didn't ask, Virgo had come out and was serving tea for them all. Though Genki suspected she had an ulterior motive, and that was something Genki knew for sure would be about being punished.

"Here you go, Prince."

"Thank you Virgo-chan, its delicious as always."

Virgo placed her hands towards her lower body, and shuffled side to side, a small amount of redness beginning to form on her cheeks.

"Prince, to speak in such kind words, I do not deserve them. So, I believe punishment may be in order."

Mirajane shakes her head at Virgo, Laxus looks bewildered, while Erza nods in approval.

"I see...Virgo-chan, this kind of talk, isn't it best for private?"

Genki never questioned Virgo and her ways, simply embracing them to what Virgo truly liked. Something that Virgo very much appreciated.

"Yes, you are correct, Prince. Private is best. Tonight, I was thinking of many different things we can do."

Mirajane murmured "No comment." as she stared at the maid spirit.

Virgo didn't mind, and simply moved to Genki's lap, sitting down on his lap without shame.

Mirajane looked annoyed, while Erza kept approving this with her head bobbing up and down.

"That damn Natsu taking Lisanna off like that when I was going to go on a mission with her..."

Mirajane barely spoke above a whisper, while Erza gave curious eyes.

"Mira, you thought of going on a mission with your siblings? What kind?"

Mirajane nods her head.

"Yeah, there is one for a so called King of Monsters, looks interesting. S Class, thought it would be good to go with my siblings and check out this beast."

Erza nods a single time.

"Yes, I see. Well, I am sure that you three doing that again would be a dream come true for you all, right?"

"It certainly would be. We like going together anyway."

Hearing them all speak so kindly together, it certainly was something that usually didn't last that long.

But it was nice when they did get together like this.

"That reminds me, Genki." Erza called. "We should also go on a mission together. If we don't go on one at least once a month, then I feel as if I haven't filled my quota."

Mirajane murmured "Here we go." with Genki giving a clueless expression.

"Quota for what?"

"As the romance advisor, I do like to give my fair share of advice on a monthly basis. And also it is a delight to go on a mission with you."

Mirajane gave a sly smile.

"Is it because you secretly have a thing for Genki as well? And this whole quota crap is you trying to spend quality and intimate time together with him?" Erza gave Mirajane curious eyes, as Mirajane herself nodded with a knowing smile. "Its okay Erza, let me be the advisor to you, to guide you into this new time in your life..."

"Then we should move in together."

Erza suggested, and Mirajane did a spit take.

"W-What?!"

"It seems that you are right, that I should be advised as well. Yes, I don't know why I didn't think of it beforehand...yes, I will move in with Genki."

Mirajane crossed her arms in front of her, shaking her head again and again.

"No way! You aren't going to move in with him!"

"Why not? I think we both should move in with him, we practically live together anyway."

Mirajane huffed.

"That is different."

"Why is it different? I think it makes perfect sense, we have been on many adventures, and have had plenty of time to get to know one another...speaking of, Genki. Tonight, I'll cook, if you make the strawberry shortcake."

"Sure~"

Mirajane became perplexed.

So Erza began explaining, seeing Mirajane's confused face

"We share responsibilities. Sometimes he cooks, sometimes I do. We both have rather busy schedules, with jobs, and mentoring the other guild members, and putting them down when they become too wild." Genki thought for sure if Natsu and Gray were around then they would have cringed. "I thought that it made sense that we share such duties, it has become a thing in recent times."

"Are you sure you're not developing a crush on Genki?"

Mirajane said with scrutinizing eyes.

Virgo raised a brow, while Erza played it cool.

"It would be my personal business if I was or wasn't. For now, all I can say is that I appreciate Genki, his ability, and his kindness."

"Tch, that's basically the same as admitting it."

Erza turned her head away, as the guilds doors opened.

Genki glanced down to see a young man with some type of glasses on come in with a few girls, saying things such as "Ladies, there's enough of me to go around~" while Virgo looked on towards the man, and furrowed her brows at him.

Genki could see that Virgo was looking unusually quiet, so he spoke to her while Erza and Mirajane spoke together.

"Virgo-chan, is something wrong?"

"No, Prince. But that young man...he is..."

Genki looked towards him, then towards Virgo.

He could tell something was different about him, but before he ever really got the chance to explore it, he usually would take off.

When seeing Genki, his face turns downwards, he murmurs "Damn...Celestial Wizard..." and correspondingly turns around, and takes off in quite the hurry, something that Virgo wasn't sure on how she was supposed to take it.

"He usually does that. With me around. Wonder what he doesn't like about Celestial Spirit Mages huh?"

Virgo nods a single time, and scrunches her brows together, thinking more about this.

Genki then turned towards Wendy who was on a lower level to them.

"Wendy-chan, how about we go on a job together?"

"O-Oh yes, I would love too!" When she said love, she promptly blushed brightly, and shook her head side to side, Carla giving her a strange look. "W-When I say love, I didn't mean...b-but maybe I could...uuh, I didn't mean such wild things!"

Genki was amused by how she was, and showed a bewitching smile towards the young girl, who in turn began pushing her hands together in a particularly cute manner.

Later on that day, Genki was watching Wendy fighting off some bandits by herself. He sat close by, and was mentoring her in various ways to fight hand to hand style. Carla was sat on his lap, and his arms were around her, with Carla looking happy enough, even if she had some trouble in showing it herself.

"Sky Dragons Claw!"

Wendy leaps into the air, and then swings her foot down, releasing a wave of wind that arched downwards, blasting away one of the enemies that tried to surround her. Landing on the ground, she saw one enemy coming left, so she coated her hand in air, and punched towards the right, the force was enough to send the enemy off of their feet, and back a good few paces, forcing the man to eat dirt as a result.

"Good Wendy-chan! Keep going!"

Wendy looked towards Genki with gratitude, turning and opened her mouth.

"Sky Dragon Roar!"

Wendy releases a tornado like attack from her mouth, with enough pressure to send the enemy flying away and completely embedding the enemy near a wall, their eyes spinning from receiving Wendy's blow.

Carla quietly observed Wendy and was rather impressed.

"That child is growing more in courage as she learns from you."

Noting that to Genki, the young man smiled, and peered down to Carla.

"Its something she has always had inside of her. She's merely able to express it now more and more. As she grows in strength, her confidence is more and more. Yet, she's still Wendy-chan so she's still so polite, and sweet~"

Carla revealed a rare tiny smile on her lips, happy for Wendy to be able to achieve a lot by doing what she was doing.

"Yes, that is rather important after all."

Genki nods in agreement, and pets Carla's head, she looks up towards him, a look within her eyes that showed she did like that, but she wouldn't casually admit aloud that she did, so he simply continued lightly patting the cat girls head, to her inner delight.

They continued to watch, and see Wendy being able to defeat the enemies on her own. Genki was highly impressed with how well she took to being able to fight in close quarters. He thought that she had some stuff to still learn, but she had come along way in the time that they had known one another.

Once it was finished, Wendy came over to Genki, and breathed out "H-How did I do?" with Genki showing a bright smile on his face.

"You did amazing Wendy-chan!"

Wendy went red in the face, shaking her head side to side in a very cute manner.

"I-I am glad that I could do that...y-you know, because you have been really good at teaching me..."

Hearing the respectful way that she spoke, it caused Genki to bequeath a soft smile.

"The master is only as good as the student, that is something my Sensei used to say to me. Though, she also usually said it playfully before we got into the bath~" Wendy promptly blushed brightly. "Either way, you did an excellent job Wendy-chan, this job has been officially completed~"

Wendy clapped her hands together a single time, while Carla looks in approval of Wendy's happiness.

"Y-Yes, thank you Genki-san!"

Genki chuckles, shaking his head.

"This was all you Wendy-chan, you did so well."

Wendy blushed lightly at his praise, and pulls closer towards the young man.

Seeing his kind eyes going towards her, Wendy couldn't help but show her smile towards Genki. She was growing less shy than she was beforehand, and was able to come more of into her own as time went on.

Meanwhile, as that was going on, Virgo was within the spirit world, sat together with one of her friends. It was a pink haired spirit with horns coming out of her head similar to that of a ram, that looked rather meek, and her hands clasped together in a shy manner.

She seemingly looked depressed, so Virgo spoke to her in a soft voice.

"Aries, I am sure that Leo is perfectly fine...he is the strongest of us all, I am sure that he would be able to survive. I know that it has been a while, but I am confident that he would be able to sustain himself in the human world."

Aries looked towards Virgo, seeing that she was trying her best to cheer the young woman up.

"...But, I am worried...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..."

Virgo waved her hand.

"You do not need to apologize. If you want to, I would ask my Prince to find Leo for you."

Aries looked astonished, and gave eyes of sadness towards Virgo.

"But, he isn't my Master..."

Aries thought that because he wasn't her Master, there would be no need for Genki to try and get involved.

So Virgo assured her as she spoke in a calming manner.

"The Prince would do this to make sure that you are happy, and have peace of mind. I wish to also make sure that you are happy as well. I wish that we had known about your circumstances earlier..."

"L-Leo said that he would...handle the situation because she was our Master. But I...I never thought that it would...be like this..."

Aries sad face made Virgo also feel deeply for her friend.

She wished to do something, anything to take the pain of her friend away.

Especially after circumstances had forced Aries into a bad situation now.

"You do not have to worry, I shall speak with the Prince immediately. He will be able to help. When I had a terrible Master, he showed compassion for me, and wanted to help me, even though he only met me that day. He saw the injustice of how that man treated me, and did his best to free me, not expecting anything in return."

Aries listened to her words, and was beginning to become enamoured with what was being said.

"He sounds...wonderful."

"He is, he is also very endowed."

Aries did a spit take.

"W-What?"

"Very endowed." Virgo revealed to the blushing Aries. "Though, I suspect that was something only I would be interested in. And those that find the Prince sexually attractive of course." Aries nods, very shyly at that. "Either way, allow me to tell the Prince, and I am sure that he would do everything in his power, to try and help you out."

Aries fiddled with her fingers, showing off a cute shy expression on her face.

"...He would do that, for me?"

"Yes, he would. He is there for humans and spirits alike. He will help you, I can promise that."

Virgo was so confident when she said that that she knew Genki would do something.

She didn't know exactly what that thing would be yet, but she knew for certain Genki would have some kind of answer for her.

When Genki and Wendy along with Carla were walking back towards the guild, they came across Loke who was walking with some girls clinging to his arms.

"Loke-san, hey!"

Genki called out, with Loke immediately becoming stunned.

His eyes shifted towards Genki, and peered at him as if he looked super nervous about something all of a sudden. Genki himself gave questioning eyes.

"Is something wrong?"

Sweating ever so slightly. he then looked up towards Genki's face, and pulled away, showing worry and then he took off, leaving the trio perplexed.

"Genki-san, why does he do that?"

"Hmmm, good question. Well, regardless, maybe we should go back, I could summon Virgo-chan, she says she has a new dance she wishes to show us soon." No sooner than he said it, they came in for a surprise when Virgo suddenly appeared before them. Genki hadn't summoned her, which made Genki curious. "Aah Virgo-chan. We were just talking about you. What's going on?"

"Prince, may I speak with you? Its important."

Hearing the seriousness in her voice, Genki knew something was up, so he turned towards Carla and Wendy.

"You two go on ahead, I'll be at the guild shortly."

"O-Okay, see you soon."

Wendy bowed, and walked off, the same for Carla.

Leaving the pair alone, Genki gave a concerned look.

"Virgo-chan, what's going on?"

"Prince...I am worried, for a friend of mine. A spirit friend of mine."

"Why? Has something happened to them?"

Virgo nods, and sits down on a nearby bench, so Genki sat down beside her with concern on his face.

"You see, Prince. My friend...she is a timid spirit, and she is...worried for a friend of hers...a fellow spirit. It was a situation where he was cast out of the spirit world. Because, his summoner was supposedly killed. For a Celestial Spirit, directly or indirectly causing the death of its contracted Wizard is against the law. Now, that spirit roams within this human world."

Genki exhaled slowly, and furrowed his brows.

"That's terrible. And the Spirit wasn't at fault?"

"Though I don't know every bit of information myself, from what I do know, it seemed their previous Master used to bully Aries, my friend, and would cause her to cry and be fearful often, using her as a shield against enemies, and threatened to have her stay in the human world, knowing it could potentially..." Virgo paused, so Genki took her hand and gave her reassuring eyes, Virgo exhaled, and continued on. "Aries is worried for Leo, I only recently became aware of this myself after he got banished. Her new Mage...I don't think they are doing that, but Aries...she is a very timid person, so I worry for her, and I don't want her to suffer anymore Prince."

When hearing that, Genki tightened his hand.

It was a thing that Genki truly didn't like at all.

He always saw Celestial Spirits as people like him, and to hear that she had been abused in such a manner made his blood boil.

"Damn, poor Aries-san and Leo-san, no one should have to suffer through that..."

Virgo felt the same way, and began speaking towards him, feeling his hand still with her own, something she appreciated a good deal.

"I spoke before really confirming this with you...but, I want to try and find Leo, to give Aries some peace of mind. Though he cannot go back to the Spirit World, if she knew that he at least was okay for the time being, then it would be good for her."

Genki shakes his head in a kind way, placing his hand on top of Virgo's own.

"I understand. We can look for this Spirit if you so desire."

Virgo felt delight when she heard that.

"Yes...and also Aries...I wish to help find her. But, I don't know who her Master is, and Aries said that the woman is vague about too many details."

"Right...then we will find her."

Virgo nods.

"Yes, but the woman travels a lot, according to Aries...so, even she doesn't know where she is right now."

"I see...that is tricky...hmm, we don't know who this woman is, where she is... Erm...okay, I think I have an idea." Confirming something within his mind, Genki faced Virgo fully. "Virgo-chan. I need you to do something for me."

"What is it Prince?"

"I might have a way around this. First, I need you to take a surveillance Lacrima back towards Aries-san. You've taken items before to the Spirit World, so this will be fine, right?"

Virgo certainly was surprised that he said that.

"Yes, that is acceptable. You wish to see what she sees, and know where she is, correct?"

"Exactly. I will have one of them, and she has the other. It will be alright for her to use, since I will make sure that she can simply wear it as apart of her outfit, so her key holder doesn't get suspicious, all she'd have to do is run her fingers across it to activate it...hmm, could you give a detailed description of her outfit? Or better yet, a picture of her?"

Virgo hums, and thinks for a few moments, then nods a single time.

"Please wait for a few moments Prince, I shall go and get a picture of Aries right away."

Genki nods, and waits as Virgo vanishes.

When she reappears, Virgo holds a picture in her hand of Aries, full view of her.

Genki looked at the image, and sees the cute shy spirit, and nods his head.

"She has a satchel huh...okay, then I'll disguise it as that. Should be simple enough. So, when I do that, you can give it to Aries-san, and I can get a good look around at what's going on. Tell her to move in directions where...there are signs for what town she's in, or things like that. To hear any kind of confirmation on where she is currently."

Virgo believed she understood what he was saying, and inclines her neck ever so slightly.

"I shall do that for you Prince, to help Aries I am sure she would be very happy to do this for you as well. If I do that though Prince, then could you do something else for me? I know that I am asking a lot right now, but it is something that I believe you'd be able to do for me."

Hearing her say that earnestly, he simply couldn't help give her a fond smile.

"You can ask me for anything Virgo-chan. So, what is it you want to ask me?"

Virgo shuffled her feet across the ground, and peered into the sky.

"Loke, the man within the guild, he is someone that I have some thoughts about. He is trying to hide something from me whenever I see him, I think he is a Celestial Spirit, it would be hard for humans to tell...but, we come from the same place, so I believe, in addition to how he reacts when seeing you Prince, a Celestial Spirit Mage, that he could be Leo."

"Loke...I also do have some suspicions about him as well. Okay, I'll go and do what I can with Loke."

Virgo nods strongly, and in thanks at the same time.

Genki then saw Virgo's small smile appear, as she leaned closer, and kissed Genki's cheek, causing Genki to blush ever so slightly.

"Prince...I knew when you heard this, you would do everything in your power to help me. I am, grateful for everything, Prince. I truly mean it."

Virgo said it while she was beginning to well up, so Genki pulled her close, and hugged her tightly, causing Virgo to sink her head into his chest, where he gently stroked the back of her head, giving Virgo some happiness in the process.

"Of course Virgo-chan, you're very important to me, I'd do anything to make you happy. Also, I wish for you to not have to worry about your friends. Plus, it angers me whenever people treat Spirits in such horrible ways. So, lets get to the bottom of this, okay? Give me until tomorrow, to make a Lacrima that looks like this satchel she has. Then you can give it her, I'll connect it to one of my Lacrimas, and then we will have to wait. While waiting, I'll try and find any information on who has Aries-sans key out in this world. But, I think this will be our best bet."

Virgo could feel herself falling deeper and deeper into feelings that she truly did love. It was a sensation spreading through her body, his kindness, his ability to do what it took to help someone just because she asked, she hadn't ever had a Master like this before, one that would go to such great lengths for her, and for spirits in general, it caused her to fall deeper in love with him than ever before.

"Prince...my single wish, would be for us to stay together, always."

She whispered to herself, but Genki caught it, and lightly kissed the top of her head, making Virgo adopt a small smile on her face, and truly enjoying being with the one that she called her Prince.

Later that night, Genki Mirajane and Erza was sat in Genki's apartment, eating some food that Erza had cook. Mirajane and Erza glared at one another from across the dining table, while Genki himself began quietly eating, as he grabbed some post he received.

"So, where's the First Master? Doesn't she usually hang out around here?"

"She went to Tenrou, she goes there from time to time. She says its a place she loves to check on."

As Genki replied that, Genki was going through some letters while slowly eating the food.

It was fairly standard on what he got in the post.

However, there always was one, for the past year now, that he received.

Mirajane noticed it, becoming rather intrigued by what was going on.

"Sorcerer Weekly?"

Genki nods, as Erza raises a brow.

"They did an interview with me some weeks ago. Do they want you to do the same thing?"

"Not exactly, they want me to pose for them."

Mirajane nearly spat out the drink she was supping on.

"W-What?"

"Yeah, they said they want to do a swimsuit edition, boys version. They want me to be apart of it."

Mirajane was taken aback for a few moments, and then briefly she imagined Genki in a swimsuit, causing her to lightly blush at the thoughts.

Erza caught it, and thought "She just imagined him in a swimsuit...though it does sound appealing..." and caught herself even thinking about Genki in such a manner, a healthy light dusting of red beginning to adorn her cheeks.

Erza showed a refreshing smile as she folded her arms.

"I think I can understand it well, due to the popularity you have Genki with saving people, and taking down evil Mages, makes sense they would think this is a good idea. I say take it."

Mirajane scowled at Erza.

"This is because of your multiple romance plan involving Genki, isn't it?"

"It certainly helps yes." Mirajane nods knowingly, but then Erza continues on. "But, it isn't only for that. I was thinking, people tend to look up to good role models, and I think you'd be a good shining example of that, Genki. Even you have been offered, haven't you Mira?"

"Yeah, but I don't know. It really isn't something I'd consider doing, at least I don't think so. Getting into swimsuits, and posing and such. What would be the point in doing that?"

Mirajane played it off, as she did think about it sometimes but didn't know if she would want to do that, while Genki furrowed his brows.

"I don't know if its something that I'd really do. Posing for such things...I guess it could be fun, it really depends how comfortable you are, as many people would see it, wouldn't they? What about you Mira-san? Would you do it?"

"Heh...well, I'd do it, if you did it. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing you pose like that Genki...it could be..." Mirajane blushed slightly, images going through her mind. "...interesting."

She replied halfway smiling, and also showing a halfway curious look on her face.

Erza nods strongly.

"You could become the modelling couple."

Mirajane shakes her head, while Genki thinks about what Erza said, and Erza herself was curious about where it could lead...

The next day, Genki had finished making the Lacrima, and gave it to Virgo, who was giving it to Aries, so they'd be able to find the location of her current key holder, to find her. In the meantime, Genki would be searching for any clues about Aries's key holder.

Genki was sat in the guild, gathering some information that he could about some Celestial Spirit Mages that he could think of having her key, as he was made aware of a few in the past that had keys.

One he looked at, was Karen, who Carla, who was sat on Genki's lap, looked towards with intrigue, while Wendy, sat next to him, nervously looking around as they were sat at the S Class area, since she wasn't S Class herself.

"So, that's the one that previously owned the key of Aries?"

Carla wondered, Genki nods as he thinks deeply.

"Apparently, she has disappeared, and many believe she is dead. Including that of her previous guild."

"Wa-Was she really a bad Mage?"

Wendy wondered, glancing towards Laxus, who gave her narrowed brows, so she clung to Genki, who in turn took a glance at Laxus, seeing a slight smirk appearing on his face, Genki rolled his eyes in a slightly playful manner at the young blonde.

"She mistreated her spirits, from what I have heard, and could gather from other sources. Virgo-chan told me that she used to use them as shields against her opponents or people that tried to get heavy handed, and threatened to leave them in the human world, which could be a death sentence to them..."

When hearing that, Wendy felt bad for the Spirits she had.

Even more than she already did with what little they knew about them.

"T-That is terrible...a-and now Aries-san is suffering again with another bad Master?"

"Not sure yet, but Virgo-chan is adamant we check this Mage out to see what they are like, and after hearing what happened to Aries-san, I also wish to make sure that she is treated right. Speaking of finding, has anyone seen Loke this morning?"

Wendy and Carla shake their head, so Laxus speaks up.

"I'll tell you where he is, if we have a fight."

Genki raised a brow.

"A fight for a one second answer? Seems a bit harsh, doesn't it?"

"Well, its been a month since we have had a brawl, there's a new technique I have been dying to use against you."

"After this mess has been sorted out, I promise to have a match with you. But, I have to be in tip top shape right now, and might have to exit immediately if Aries-san activates the Lacrima."

Laxus folds his arms, glancing to Wendy who gazed at him, and he showed a small smirk.

Wendy cringed, and stuck close to Genki, who in turn pats her head gently.

"He went on a mission. Heard he wont be back a day or two."

"Thank you Laxus-san."

Laxus huffs, and turns away.

Genki gives him a bemused look, then turned towards the others.

"Guess we will deal with him another time. For now, I'm gonna try and see if I can find any information out."

"W-We will go to, I also want to help...I mean if I can."

Wendy said with some unsure feelings coming through, so Genki gave her a bright smile.

"The more the merrier, Wendy-chan."

Wendy nods strongly, while Carla exhales.

"Honestly child, you're getting worked up over such things. We are on the same team, so of course you'd be able to come with us."

"Yeah...I guess you're right Carla, I just wanted to make sure."

Genki stood up, placing Carla on his shoulder, as she liked to sit there, and stretched.

"Either way, lets see if there's anything that we can find out about Aries-san, okay?"

"Yes!"

Wendy excitedly said, and rushed out together with Genki, while Carla gave them both curious looks.

The next night, Genki sat in his living room, casually going over some notes that he had, when he saw the door open, and revealed Mirajane, Elfman and Lisanna stepping through.

"Hey Strauss siblings, what's going on?"

Mirajane confidently stepped forward with a hand on her hip.

"We're going on a mission tomorrow against something called the King of Monsters, its going to take us a few days at least, we have to get there since it is quite far from here, and gotta prepare and all. So we wont be seeing one another for a little while."

"That is a shame, though you can call me whenever you want." Genki smiled out, as he then furrowed his brows. "Still, the King of Monsters huh. Sounds strong. I have heard that it is a wild beast."

Elfman steps forward this time, and shows off his happy expression.

"We will be together, and don't worry about my siblings big bro! I will protect them with my life!"

"Yes, I am sure that you would, Elfman. But, keep in mind to listen to Mira-san, she will know what to do, okay? Most of all, watch one another's backs, you never know what surprises might show up."

Elfman nods with his resolve on high.

"Yeah, I know big bro! I got this! I will protect them!"

Genki nods his head, while Mirajane looks towards him.

"Remember what he said Elfman, also no trying to take this beast over either, since you have yet to get it fully down a full transformation and this King of Monsters is said to have great levels of power. We don't want anything bad happening, got it?"

Mirajane said it in a way where she showed her care for Elfman, wishing to encourage him the best way that she could do, while also making sure he didn't place himself in danger.

"I know big sis, I will do my best."

Elfman said humbly, while Lisanna showed a cheerful face.

"Aah Elf, don't worry about it, we shall all do our best!"

"Yes, exactly right Lisanna! Lets fight this beast together!"

Seeing their enthusiastic smiles, Genki gave them each a kind smile.

"Can't wait to hear your adventures about this King of Monsters~"

Mirajane showed a confident smile, while Genki did the same thing.

He hoped the best for them and couldn't wait to see them again.

The next day, Genki felt some disheartened thoughts due to not being able to find Aries, and she herself hadn't been summoned either by her Master, so no luck going on there. Though occasionally, he did get to see the Celestial Spirit World as Aries would activate the Lacrima.

He even briefly got to speak with Aries herself, who kept repeatedly apologizing over and over, though he assured her that everything would be okay.

Eventually Loke did come back to the guild. He seemed nervously entering the guild, when he clearly was looking for Genki. Genki himself stayed out of sight for the most part. The bar was empty since it was early in the morning. Genki assumed Loke did that so he wouldn't have to see Genki fully.

He watched as Loke approached the bar, Genki dashed behind the bar, only to pop up from it, giving Loke a fright.

"Hello, Loke-san."

"A...Ah. Yes...hello...I-I have to go now..."

Loke began turning, so Genki called out.

"You don't want to talk. I want to know if there's something that I've done to cause you to worry? You always seem to run off whenever I am around."

Loke turned back towards Genki, waving his hands in front of his face frantically.

"N-No, nothing at all! Really, its fine!"

"Okay then." Loke nods and began walking away. "Oh, and Leo?" Loke paused, dead in his tracks, as he turned slowly towards Genki. Meeting eye to eye with him, Genki showed a slight smile. "That is your true name, isn't it?"

Loke pulled back, crossing his arms over himself, and tried to look as calm as possible.

"...W-Why do you think that?"

"Because you're a Celestial Spirit, aren't you?"

Loke pulls away, and tries to distance himself from Genki.

"Look, you can ignore my existence, okay?"

"I can't though, especially when it concerns Aries-san."

Loke widened his eyes upon hearing that name.

"W...What do you know of Aries?"

"That she is with a Mage right now, Virgo-chan says that she wants to make sure that Aries-san is safe and sound, and she's worried about you, immensely."

Loke placed a hand over his heart, and his face immediately contorts to being one of sadness.

"No...it can't be, Aries...she can't be going through it again."

Genki flipped forward out of the bar, and lands before Loke.

"Virgo-chan is worried about her, Aries-san can't get a good read on her Celestial Spirit Mage, and Virgo-chan asked me to make sure this person is fine, and to make sure that Aries-san is safe. Right now, we simply don't know, that's why I wish to speak with you, and to see who this Mage is."

"Virgo did huh...she must believe you are someone that could do something to help..."

Genki walks towards Loke, standing before the man with understanding eyes.

"Aries-san and Virgo-chan spoke about you, and Aries-san said that she feels guilt about you not being able to go back to the Spirit World. I, understand why you did what you did, and I also understand the position of the Celestial Spirit King as well for what information he had."

"I deserve it...because Karen died, due to me leaving her. I was the one who caused her death. Maybe someone else killed her, but if I hadn't have stayed open...then she could have...protected herself...so, I have to be punished for what I did. What I caused. I didn't even know of her death...until I was told about it. For a Celestial Spirit like me...it was the same as causing her death, even if I had no direct involvement...I prevented her from protecting herself."

Loke revealed sadly and Genki saw that it took a lot for Loke not to well up, with Genki lowering his eyebrows ever so slightly.

"I understand that. Guilt, it can be powerful. Though her death...you sure she is gone?"

"As far as I know, it was Blue Pegasus's Guild Master that told me she was dead. He had no reason to lie, and my contract became void, I only can say that she is gone since she said she'd never give my contract up unless she died the last time I saw her."

Genki did wonder about that, but he had no evidence either way, so went along with what Loke thought for the time being.

"I see. Anyway I wanted to ask you, if you'd want to come with me when I find out where Aries-san is currently? To see if she is safe."

Loke looked visibly stunned by what Genki was saying.

"...What would you do for Aries?"

"She would be able to get to choose the place she goes this time, not being forced to go with whoever takes her key for themselves."

Loke was in a state of surprise upon hearing that for the first time.

"You would do that for Aries?"

"Yes, and I'd also speak to the Celestial Spirit King on your behalf. If you want me too."

Loke again was stunned to hear that.

But his face turned downwards.

"No, that isn't necessary, I don't want to be saved. For what I did, I don't have the right."

Genki felt uneasy, seeing the genuine sorrow that was within Loke's heart.

Written easily on his face, Loke was a man that was going through much in his life, and felt immense regret at what happened in his past.

Genki didn't think that Loke should die for what happened, but he also understood why Loke felt the way that he did, even if the person who died wasn't the greatest of people, Loke was someone that felt like it was his way of atoning, so the young man began to think silently on that, while also directing his attention to the situation at hand.

"I see...well, how are you adjusting to the human world?"

"At first, it was a difficult thing to deal with...but, after a little times past, I have adapted to it, I think for the most part. Its difficult at times, but I am able to carry on. Also, I'd appreciate if this stayed between us, my status that is."

"Yes, that's fine with me. I wont say anything. So, will you come with me to help Aries-san when she needs it?"

Loke didn't even have to be asked, he wanted Aries to be free, so he began nodding his head.

"Yes, I will help free Aries, give her a chance at happiness for a change. Its the least I can do after what happened with Karen."

"Great, then I'll tell you when I find anything out."

"Right. Thank you."

Genki watched as the young man began walking off, with Genki silently exhaling, and then got back to work to find out what's truly going on.

Sometime after this event, Angel arrived in a new town, together with those she calls her Messengers. One in particular, Juvia, was stood beside Angel. The rain poured down onto them, as they walked forward.

"Okay everyone, there's apparently a Wizard in this town that knows the location of an important key. So, I want you all to spread out, and find that person. Even if it takes all day." Angel looks to the sky, as she sees nothing but dark rain clouds. "Juvia, let us search this town together."

"Juvia thinks that maybe going to this town directly wouldn't be so good."

Juvia conveyed, with Angel looking surprised as they began walking forward.

"Why is that Juvia?"

Juvia looks around at the poor condition of the town. While it didn't seem to be anything like they were completely destitute, it was clear that it wasn't a wealthy town by any means. She didn't even see any shops that had magical items within them.

"Juvia doesn't believe that a gate key would be in this town. It seems to be a place those that aren't law abiding would be."

"Yes, usually I would agree with you Juvia, but in this instance, I have been hearing rumours a Mage here has been trying to set up a base of command of sorts. This town is close to two major towns within Fiore, and it is a good place to be able to launch attacks on either."

Juvia tilts her head in wonder.

"Is that so?"

"Yes. That's why, we have to also occupy this land for ourselves, and to of course take out the trash that have been trying to set up things around here." Angel conveyed a bit of happiness as she peered around. "Juvia, while you're here, why don't you also take the chance to have a good time?"

"Good time?"

Juvia questioned, Angel nodding with a slight appeasing smile on her face.

"Yes, that's right. Find a good man to have an entertaining evening with. To lavish you in gifts, and delights."

"Do you have someone like that, Angel-san?"

Angel paused when Juvia said that, and thought about it deeply.

"My Darling...I wonder what you are thinking right now...because of Brain, we can't..." Angel exhaled her negative feelings, and put on a slight smile. "A matter of fact, I do actually. Though it pains me to admit that we are on opposite sides. But, I shall strive forward, until he and I can come together in our love. He taught me the value of teamwork among other things, its why we became close allies Juvia."

Juvia was astonished, and wished to hear more about this.

"Juvia didn't have an idea. Who is this man?"

"The Dragon Slayer of my dreams~ He controls the night skies, and shines Heavenly light down~"

As she said it, she noticed a fireball coming towards her from the right.

Narrowing her brows, she went to summon a spirit, when Juvia placed her hand out, and created a dome of water, blocking the fireballs attack reaching them all together.

Angel showed a soft smile, and looked on with a bewitching expression on her face.

"See what I mean Juvia? They came here because they're simply bandits." Angel pulled out a golden key, as she saw several men approaching them. "Open, Gate of the Ram, Aries." Bringing the shy Spirit to the human world, Aries looked around timidly, as she ran a hand over her satchel, beginning to activate the Lacrima. "Aries, be a dear, and use your fluffy powers against these men."

Aries looked towards the men, each of them turning their magical powers towards her.

She naturally became worried, so she looked towards Angel, swaying her satchel around ever so slowly, allowing the Lacrima to get a good look of the town they were in, as she was able to find a name for the town, pointing the Lacrima there.

"I-I...a-are they...b-bad people?"

"Of course they are, they're simple bandits trying to attack us."

Aries looked towards Angel, who simply gazed back at her, Aries couldn't get a good read on Angel, so she gave an obediant nod of her head.

"Y...Yes, I will..." Aries cups her hands together, and places them forward. "W-Wool Shot!"

Aries from her hand releases shots of wool towards the opponents, causing the wool to wrap around their upper bodies, beginning to send them into a relaxed status, something Angel showed a satisfied look for.

"Now Juvia, why don't you show them your magic? Show them the power of your water, the rain of the Heavens Juvia."

Juvia looks towards Angel, who spins around Aries's key, along with another hand on another key that she had with her.

"Water..." Juvia looks towards Angel, who gives a strong nod of her head, so she finishes off as water gathers around her hand. "...Cane!"

Extending from Juvia's hand, a whip like water cane shot out, and with a flick of her arm in the enemies directions, she sent the men flying, one hit after another, with the approving look from Angel giving Juvia a satisfied feeling deep within her body, knowing that she was helping out with her powers, rather than being a hindrance like she thought she was most of the time.

As they disappeared, Angel looked rather satisfied with everything that had happened, and turned towards Juvia with a delightful look on her face.

"Well done Juvia, you've done very well."

Juvia didn't show it on her face, but the gratitude that she received from Angel, did make her feel good inside. Aries on the other hand gave a worried look, and wasn't entirely sure on what to make of this.

As that was going on, Genki watched the events unfurl, and managed to see the town name.

Seeing that, Genki got out a map, and looked over it, seeing where it was, then exhales, turning to Virgo who was stationed nearby.

"Looks like we've found her."

"Yes, and it isn't that far away. However, the Mage that holds Aries's key..."

"Yeah...its Angel-san."

Remembering the circumstances behind what happened at the prison, Genki now would be able to get two birds with one stone, to free Aries, and find out what truly happened with Angel and her supposed break out of prison, he always felt it was very odd that she would wait six months to break out of prison, when she was getting out only a month later, now he would be able to get some answers about her...

End chapter!

So this chapter had Angel meet up with Juvia, seemingly forming a group for current unknown reasons. She also revealed to have Aries key, so we will find out what went down with her, and Karen pretty soon.

Meanwhile, Genki is training up Wendy, and she's showing quite good promise.

Mirajane, and her siblings also went on a mission together, so we shall see what is happening with them as time goes on. Also, it seems Erza has put into Mirajane's head about modelling together with Genki who also got invited~ Finally, Genki and Loke had a conversation about what happened and have begun becoming friends.

Well, until next time, thanks for reading!
