Georgia - About Work The Dancefloor

In her spacecraft hovering above Earth, Lum is sitting down in front of her massive computer screen. Displayed are various rooms of her Darling Moroboshi's residence.

Having already gone on a date with him, she decided to temporarily leave Ataru until she went on another one.

Right now, it's early in the morning in Tomobiki. Lum decides to sing for a little bit. An Earth song that she found herself addicted to when browsing the internet.

"Here we go again, my love.

You've got so much time to spend.

If I come around again.

It may never go anywhere."

The sight of Ataru leaving his house made her pay closer attention. At any time, he may lose control and flirt with another woman. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

"Cause I don't have much in terms of money now.

I don't have material gifts for you.

You want me to stay a while. Stay a while.

To be in a moment with you."

While taking his usual route to school, Ataru couldn't help but feel like he's being watched. Considering that Lum isn't anywhere near him, that may be the case. He continues replaying the song that he's been addicted to for a while.

"I was just thinking about work the dancefloor.

I was just thinking about work the dancefloor.

I was just thinking about work the dancefloor.

I was just thinking about work the dancefloor."

At school, he participates in class, has lunch, and hangs out with his friends. Time after time, keeping his perverted half in check. Hopefully, he hasn't been active in almost a week.

It was good that Lum had the foresight to install microcameras into that school. Even if she couldn't be close to him there, she can still see him. She continues singing in her head.

"Finally my heart slipped.

Finally I found something new.

What if the moment didn't stick?

Would I be spending no more time with you?"

She remembers back to when she first met him. He seemed no different than any human being his age. During those days where they played tag, she couldn't help but feel that he was special in his own way. That was part of the reason why she accepted his proposal. She was glad she did. She wouldn't be nearly as happy as she is now if she didn't.

"Cause I don't have much in terms of money now.

I don't have material gifts for you.

You want me to stay a while. Stay a while.

To be in a moment with you."

With the school day done with. Ataru gave Shinobu a smile, which she quickly waved off before heading in the opposite direction. Sighing to himself, he heads home. Still thinking about that song in his head.

"I was thinking about work the dancefloor.

I was thinking about work the dancefloor.

I was thinking about work the dancefloor.

I was thinking about work the dancefloor."

It was then that Lum couldn't take it anymore. She's tired of seeing him through a computer screen. It did nothing but want to make her see him in person. Maybe for a little bit of time before he heads inside.

She inputs the commands in the computer and within five seconds, she's hovering over Tomobiki again.

"Now our hearts have a beat that doesn't stick. No.

Now my heart has a moment that we don't share. Oh.

Cause I don't have much in terms of money now.

I don't have material gifts for you.

You want me to stay a while. Stay a while.

To be in a moment with you."

Ataru was quick to see that Lum was hovering over him before landing on the ground.. He can tell that she's delighted to see him as the look on her face is something that one cannot fake.

He couldn't help but smile back at her. They both walk towards each other. Lum is finishing the song in her head.

"These moments with you!

Moments with you!

Moments with you!

Moments, to be in a moment with you.

These moments with you!

Moments with you!

Moments with you!

Moments… These moments with you."

Without warning, she grabbed him by the shoulders and kissed him on the lips. Sending a devastating electric shock through his entire body.

Okay guys, I think I'm going to be taking a very long break from this story. It's been really fun while it lasted, but all good things must come to an end. I'll continue to pay close attention to the remake of the show, but I'm not expecting to write anything anytime soon. That doesn't mean I don't have any plans for the future. I just don't think they're good for me right now.

Until then, see you next time!
