Vampire Harry Test chapter:

Scene 1:

"Well, this is a memorable place," Dumbledore coughed as he and Professor McGonagall entered Count Dracula's massive throne room.

"Thank you for the compliment," Count Dracula grinned, sitting lazily upon his throne. "Now, do tell me what a mere vampire like myself has that would interest the great Albus Dumbledore enough for him to come to my humble home?" He asked, looking at the two of them curiously.

Professor McGonagall had to stop herself from snorting, firstly his home was a castle that was more or less as big as Hogwarts, secondly, he was most definitely not a mere vampire. He was such a legend amongst vampires that even muggles had heard of him!

"As you know who I am, I can assume that you know that one of my jobs is Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," Dumbledore began. "Many parents sign up their children as soon as they are born, and it is my understanding that you have a ward here who was signed up from shortly after his birth. But he didn't arrive last year, or the year before."

"You're after my son, are you?" Count Dracula asked, the air around the two teachers growing noticeably colder. "Tell me, is Hogwarts often in the habit of accepting vampires into its halls? I'm sure I would have heard if there was a wizarding school that so readily accepted vampires."

"It's my hope that this could be a stepping stone for a better relationship between vampires and wizards," Dumbledore smiled kindly.

"Hmm," Dracula's stare told Dumbledore that he was not believed in the slightest. "Let's invite my son to join this little conversation," Count Dracula said before he raised his head. "Harry." He said. The Count might have whispered out the name, but his voice had boomed out and both Professor's ended up wincing.

"You rang, Father?" A voice asked a few moments later, the two Hogwarts teachers looked up and gasped when they saw a boy hanging upside down from a wall, sticking to it by his hands and feet. He was dressed in dark black shorts and a black T-shirt, his skin was ghostly pale and his bright emerald eyes seemed to glow, especially next to his hair which was as dark as a shadow.

"Come to me, my son," Count Dracula smiled, Harry grinned before he jumped off the wall and hovered in the air briefly before he slowly glided down and stopped in front of his father's throne. "Your flight is improving," The Count smiled proudly. "Well done, my dark prince," He smiled before pulling out a bag of coins and tossing them to Harry.

"Thanks," Harry grinned.

"Mr Potter?" Professor Dumbledore asked questioningly, causing Harry to turn around. Professor McGonagall barely suppressed a gasp when she saw his fangs.

"Dracula, actually."

Scene 2:

"Welcome to Gryffindor," Dean Thomas said as Harry sat next to him.

"Thanks, though I have to admit that I was expecting a slightly less warm welcome," Harry confessed.

"Well, we aren't all bigots," Seamus grinned. "Just most of us."

"Ah, I can work with that," Harry said in a pleased voice.

"It's nice to meet you," A girl with bushy brown hair said. "I am Hermione Granger,"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Granger," Harry purred as he took her hand and placed a kiss on her knuckles, causing her face to turn bright red.

"Oi, back off!" Ron quickly snatched her hand out of his hand.

"Ronald, don't be rude!" Hermione admonished.

"But he's a vampire!" Ron protested.

"That's no excuse, he is being perfectly well behaved, unlike you!"

"I don't..."

"Is this a common occurrence?" Harry whispered to Seamus and Dean.

"Every other day," Seamus grunted.

"Twice on Sundays," Dean added helpfully. "Anyway, you're a vampire, so that means you got all of these cool vampire powers, right?"

"I just might," Harry smirked, enjoying the looks that the two were giving him.

"This year will be fun," Seamus grinned.

"Oh yeah," Harry agreed. "We'll paint the town...red." Harry trailed off as his vision narrowed and focused on something slightly down the table.

"What's he looking at?" Ron frowned, having finally finished his argument with Hermione.

"Um...I think it's your sister," Dean coughed.

"What?!"

Scene 3:

"So," Fred and George said together. "We've got to ask, what are your intentions with our sister?"

"Well," Harry spoke in a bland voice and a straight face. "I intend to put my fangs into her neck and drain of her every single drop of blood, slowly, and once she's all finished I will make my eternal vampiric slave who will do my bidding for the rest of eternity and bring me as many useless sacks of humans she can find. She will obey my every command and will never be granted her freedom or even the sweet release of death." He finished and stared at the two for several moments.

"Glad we're on the same page," The two said before shaking Harry's hand and walking off.

"Do I at least get dental?" Ginny asked while lazily looking through a quidditch magazine.

"Of course!" Harry said in an offended voice. "I'm not a monster!"

"Hi Harry!" Colin said as he popped in with his camera. "Can I take a picture? I've never met a vampire before? Would you even appear in my picture? Are you like Batman?" He asked, Harry stared at him for all of second before he backhanded him into unconciousness.

Scene 4:

"I forbid it!" Ron hissed as he walked after Ginny who was trying to walk away from him. "He's a monster!"

"He's not!" Ginny glared at him.

"He ate Scabbers!" Ron protested.

"First of all, you don't even like that rat, you barely look after him," Ginny rolled her eyes. "Second of all, he didn't eat him, he has standards."

"He's a blood-drinking monster!"

"You don't get to tell me who I can and can't hang out with!" Ginny spat angrily.

"Yes, I do!" Ron shouted.

"Oh yeah?!" Ginny said challengingly before she walked into the Gryffindor common room with Ron following after her. She spotted Harry sitting on a chair and quickly walked towards him, without waiting for an invitation she plopped herself down on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. "So, Potter," She began. "Is that invitation to go Hogsmead with you still open?"

Scene 5:

"Damn it!" Lucius cursed as he ran down the halls of his home and rushed towards his bedroom as fast as he could, which wasn't very fast given the fact that he was slowed down by his missing hand and bleeding leg.

They had underestimated Potter, Lucius and the other death eaters knew he was a vampire, but they didn't realise how strong he was. They should have expected it, knowing that he was the ward of Count Dracula himself. Lucius banished those thoughts from his head as he tired to think up a plan, he needed to grab Draco and escape. He was sure that Potter would be coming for the both of them.

Lucius rushed into his bedroom, he had barely closed the door behind him when all of a sudden the lights came on and the door locked itself, all without him doing so. He gulped and turned around to find someone sitting in his favourite chair and sipping on his favourite wine.

"Hmm, not bad," Count Dracula licked his lips before tossing the wine glass over his shoulder, not paying any attention to the shattering of glass. "Mr Malfoy, is it?" Count Dracula drawled.

"W...where is my son?" Lucius shivered, backing up until his back was pressed against the bedroom door.

"With my son," The Count smirked. "I do believe that they're getting along nicely," His words were followed by a scream that Lucius knew came from Draco's room. "Ah, boys will be boys," The Count said fondly before he rose from the seat. "Now, Mr Malfoy, let's discuss your attempted assassination of my heir."
