The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Of course I was talking about the affair between Ares and Aphrodite earlier. The scandals and rumors on those two go back for thousands of years. Even now when they sire demigod children across the globe they still have their affair behind the back of Aphrodite's husband and Ares' brother Hephaestus.
But at one time they thought none of the other gods knew and they tried to keep it that way. So Ares stationed a cock name Alectryon to warn them when day was breaking.
Easy right?
Well apparently not, because one morning the sentry went to sleep, and thus the Sun took the two lovers by surprise and lost no time in telling Hephaestus.
Of course they still try to sneak behind Hephaestus back, but only now they got to worry about one of Hephaestus traps. Trust me, you don't want to get caught in one of his traps design to catch Ares and Aphrodite.
