Megumi couldn't believe the situation he allowed himself to end up in. He made a mental note to kick Qrow when this was all said and done. This had not been what he signed up for when he was given the assignment alongside the older borderline alcoholic with a string of bad luck seeming to follow him.

Right now he was being dragged through the streets by Power to whatever place she excitedly wished she would take him. Probably something like a slaughter house he imagined. A lot of corners and twists later throughout the urban area until Power finally yelled "HERE WE ARE!"

"Does she have to yell everything!" Megumi thought.

His mind wondering for a moment until his eyes fully adjusted to the sight before him. His mind was blown away as he realized he was looking over a peaceful looking park area. The sun shining brightly in the sky making the greenery stand out even more. She had led him to this beautiful place?

"You like it! It's my little special place if I want to get away from Makima and her orders" Power said as she grabbed Megumi's hand and dragged him along into the park itself.

Realizing he now had an opening he asked "so she orders you around a lot?"

"Ugh you have no idea! She treats me like a dog sometimes!" Power said as she stopped in the middle of a grassy area and turned to look at Megumi "but she's not important now. What's more important is this tall dark and handsome guy right in front of me."

"I don't see him" Megumi replied sarcastically with his usual stoic and serious expression on his face.

Power giggled "you're so funny Megumi. Come let's sit" she said as she essentially pulled him down alongside her, making them both sit down onto the grass, the sun shining perfectly on them both.

And as the rays of the early noon's sun hit her face, Megumi could swear he could see Power blush and her eyes glow slightly as she looked at him. And for a moment, just a slight moment Megumi was at a loss for words, unsure of what to say.

"You still in there stud?" Power asked as she playfully knocked on Megumi's forehead. The young Jujutsu sorcerer shook his head and said "yeah I'm fine so….why did you bring me here?"

"Well…nobody but me and now you know about this spot so…we're all alone and no one will bother us."

Megumi froze up slightly as Power slowly moved forward, puckering her lips ready to give him a kiss. As if by reflex Megumi fell with his back to the ground almost in sheer terror.

Power looked at him with a sheepish expression and asked "you okay?"

"Yes I am…it's just…" Megumi felt almost at a loss for words as he looked at Power's curious expression, her face looking…kind of cute. "I am well…kind of new to all of this."

Megumi prayed that Qrow wasn't spying on him admitting to this embarrassing secret. Not that he necessarily cared what people thought about it. Even though back in his school days he was hit on by plenty of girls, he never made the effort to even take one up on her advances, and even now he was only pretending for the sake of the mission.

Still he couldn't place the feeling and wondered why he suddenly felt so…so light looking at the horned fiend in front of him, her face turning into a giggle as the bright sunlight shined down upon her.

"Awww that's so cute" Power replied as she grabbed Megumi's palms and slowly pulled him upwards until they were at face level.

A moment of silence came in between them. For a solid minute they just stared at each other, deep in another's eyes. Even Power could now suddenly feel something welling up inside her. She just thought this guy was hot and could scratch an itch. But she suddenly felt…almost endeared by his admittance of innocence.

"So…you've never kissed a girl?" Power asked innocently. All she got from Megumi was a silent nod in confirmation of said fact.

Part of her was surprised. That this man she believed to be such a catch was still so innocent in the ways of…well love and sex and everything that could be intimacy related.

"Would you mind…if I gave you one…" Power was unnaturally cautious, so much so that it even freaked her out as she couldn't believe she was behaving this way. But at this moment, it felt right. A weird sensation and feeling in her stomach suddenly arose as she looked into Megumi's wide eyes. Gone was his normal stoic and serious expression, now suddenly there was a boy who looked like he was experiencing feelings for the first time.

"I…" he gulped "yes that's fine" he finally said.

Having been given the go ahead, which Power felt odd that she now somehow cared about. She moved her head slowly forward, keeping her eyes open for long enough to look into Megumi's. He followed suit, unsure of what to do but going along with the flow.

Inevitably their eyes closed as they got closer and their lips made contact. And what happened next seemed to connect the two as they felt like sparks where flying around them as soon as their lips touched each other.

This feeling that enveloped them suddenly.

They felt the whole world around them disappear, and only they remained around, surrounded by a flow of sparks that their kiss created.
