A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.
Alope
Alope must meant something to my dad as more than a love interest because he spared her and the child they had.
Alope was a daughter of Cercyon. She had a child by Poseidon which she expose to the forest. A mare suckled the child, who later was found by shepherds. They argued over possession of the child and its magnificant swaddling clothes, and referred their dispute to Cercyon. Cercyon recognized Alope's handiwork and put Alope to death. But Poseidon changed her into a spring.
Meanwhile the child was again exposed, and again he was suckled by a mare and found by a shepherd, who called him Hippothoon. Later Hippothoon became a eponym of the Attic tribe of Hippiothoontis.
When Theseus had killed Cercyon, Hippothoon came to his half-brother ato ask for the return of his grandfather's kingdom, which Thesesu readily gave him.
That's it involving my dad for a while. Next is a story involving a guy that was instructed to teach no other than my girlfriend's mom: Athena and caused his own demise. I just hope I don't cause my own demise from Athena in the process.
