Upon the re-opening of the portal, there was a loud crash followed by a pained groan which signified that Namashi had been jarred awake by the fall.

"Welcome back, Namas." Mr. Bundai said as he was walking towards him.

"Huh? Kentei? Mr. Bundai? W-when did I get back here?" Namashi asked.
"You had passed out after being with Nanzai for over an hour. Whew, Goei would kill for that kind of stamina nowadays. Anyways, then after you successfully took the girls' Life Ki, the portal opened, and Shigyou-sensei then decided to throw you in the portal and here you are." Mr. Bundai succinctly explained.
"Oh... Okay then." Namashi said as he squinted his eyes. "Well, I guess it's better than being trapped in that world and being crushed by the Life Weaver." Namashi then got up and had dusted himself off.
Mr. Bundai then raised an eyebrow at him. "What're you going to do now, Namas?"

"Hm? And Chouhi Ekitoku was?" Kentei asked.
"I guess so. Although I doubt that he made a move on Chouhi though." Mr. Bundai said.
"And how can you be so sure of this?" Kentei asked.
"Because he had trained me for a time when I went to Kansai. He did the exact same thing to me. And crazy enough, what he said to Namas wasn't just empty platitudes, he actually lasted the whole twenty-four hours." Mr. Bundai said.
"Woah. Of all the things you Toushi do in order to improve yourselves, THAT has to be the most ridiculous." Kentei said, although she was contemplating something.
"Hm? What is it, Ken-chan?" Mr. Bundai said.
"I was just thinking about what you said when he came back from that Minamoto girl. Maybe. Just maybe..." Kentei said as she trailed off.
"Maybe he might be able to stay here after all. Even when the world resets?" Mr. Bundai said.
"Maybe. But we'll have to come up with some way to retain his memories of them, retain their memories of him and ensure that he's not erased as soon as he comes back to reality." Kentei said.
"Hm. Me and Reitei were talking about that in quite some detail." Mr. Bundai said.
"Interesting. Care to tell me more?" Kentei said she turned towards Mr. Bundai.
"Well it was just a theory, but-" Mr. Bundai begins to explain as the screen then goes to black.
