A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Amata

Remember back when I said women didn't have much rights during ancient times? Well, Amata is proof of it.

Amata was the wife of Latinus and the mother of Lavinia. Amata had wanted a young king of the Rutuli Turnus to marry Lavinia, but Latinus decided to give his daughter's hand to Aeneas. So Amata tried to prevent this by rousing the women of Laurentium against the Trojans. However it all failed as the Trojians claimed victory, and made matters worse for Amata Turnus was killed in action. So with her preferred son-in-law dead and to avoid being captured Amata hung herself.

But don't worry. Not all women in ancient times felt repressed by men. Because my next story is about a tribe of fierce women who broke free from a man-control lifestyle and strike fear to men.
