Written in the memory of the Son of Apollo Halcyon Green, who advised me to read up on the old stories as it would help me with my destiny, which was true. 82. Ampelus

A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Ampelus

Yeah, you heard me right. This love interest of Dionysus is a guy. Many of the gods aren't strick on the same sex love life/marriages as many mortals these days. So don't take it up on me.

Anyways, a young man known as Ampelus is the love interest I was talking about. His name means vine stick. Dionysus presented Ampelus with a vine laden with grapes which hung from the branches of an elm tree. The youth climbed the elm, but fell while he was picking the grapes and was killed. Out of grief Dionysus turned Ampelus into...

A constellation.

That's right! Not a bird, not a tree, not a spring. But a constellation. Which if you ask me is more memorable because their actions will forever be remember in the skies.

Next is a seer that was loved by Zeus, Apollo, and a warrior, and has history with a familiar name: Adrastus.
