Ruber and his metal army were packing things up in preparation to Camelot. Julianna had been taken hostage by Ruber; he was going to use her as a ticket to get inside the kingdom. They even took almost all of the chickens, throwing each one into a small cage.

(Adryan POV)

Kayley and I were sneaking away from Ruber to avoid being seen. I held my sister's hand the whole time. From up above, O heard the sound of flapping wings from above us.

We look up and see a large griffin preparing to land, letting out a loud screech. I grab Kayley and we both hide under the stone bridge we were at. Kayley dove into my arms and I wrapped them around her.

We listened to a conversation from above us. Ruber was right above us, talking to the griffin. "Ah... my faithful pet. How was the flight? Panic swept across the land," Ruber said to the griffin.

Kayley and I carefully come out of our hiding spot to see what was going on. Thankfully, neither of them could see us. "Precisely," the griffin agreed in a raspy voice.

"Now Excalibur is mine," Ruber chuckled, turning away from the beast. The griffin frowned and cleared his throat, sounding like he was going to be in so much trouble. "Um... here's where we enter a gray area," he grunted.

Ruber quickly turned back around and he grabbed the griffin by the front of his neck, making him groan. "Excuse me, you lost Excalibur? How?!" Ruber spat.

Kayley and I stayed out of sight of the two, but we could see them. "I was attacked by a falcon!" the griffin shouted after Ruber let him go. Ruber found this news to be hilarious. "What? My magnificent beast outmatched by a puny little pigeon?" he mocked him.

"It wasn't a pigeon, it was a falcon! A falcon with silver wings!" The Griffin shouted. I looked at Kayley in shock, getting the same reaction. 'Silver wings? Does he mean Merlin's bird that father has told us about?' I thought.

"Silver wings? Oh, how scary! *Grabs the Griffin by the ear and pulls him down) You stupid animal! Where is the sword now?" Ruber mocked. "In a place of untold danger," The griffin said cryptically. "The Forbidden Forest?" Ruber said out of his assumption.

I look at my sister, knowing what we were going to do. We sneak back to the barn to get my horse.

(3rd Person)

"Precisely, Master," The Griffin answered. Ruber started to use two fingers to do a walking motion on the Griffin's head. "Have I told you today how magnificently and totally worthLESS YOU ARE?!?!" Ruber yelled, pulling on the beast's eyelid before letting it snap back on his eye.

The beast reared up with a loud screech. "Excalibur is the one thing that can keep me from conquest of Camelot!" Ruber growled, turning away from the beast in frustration. He then hears the sound of a horse neighing in the distance.

He turned around to see Adryan and Kayley riding towards the gate of the farm. "OH, THE-THE BOY AND GIRL!" he screamed. He turns to his army. "You three! After them! Bring them back! *Turns towards the griffin, grabbing underneath his beak* And you... You are going to lead me to Excalibur," he said, pointing at the direction the sword was.

(Adryan's POV)

We bursted through the farm gates, getting my horse to gallop as fast as he could. Kayley was sitting behind me, wrapping both of her arms around my waist.

(As Julianna was being carried away, she watched as her children escaping from Ruber's clan. She was singing a familiar song that she would sing to them when they were kids.)

We arrive to the crossroad that cut between Camelot and the Forbidden Forest. I see an arrow fly by our heads, making us yelp. Behind us were Ruber's men chasing after us on boars. We went down the path of Camelot.

However, one of the arrows struck an old tree, making it block our path. My horse slid on the ground and reared back with a shocked neigh. Kayley grabbed onto me tighter to keep herself from falling off.

I pulled on the reins and made him turn the other direction. We were headed towards The Forbidden Forest; the thugs were still behind us. When we reached the edge of the forest, my horse reared back again.

Both of us ended up falling off of him and land on the lumpy ground. My horse was frightened by the thick fog forming into a mouth. After I recovered, I knelt down and helped my sister up.

My horse took off running in a panic, revealing the thugs that were chasing us. We were both scared when we saw them coming towards them. Kayley looked around with wide eyes, seeing the forest behind us.

"The Forbidden Forest!" she yelled. I look behind me and saw that it was our only escape. "Let's go!" I cry, grabbing her hand and pulled her with me to the forest.
