Shipwreck Zone (Day)
"That big guy was joking, right?" Mineta asked, trembling in fear. "They can't really kill All Might. As soon as he gets here, he'll pummel them all!"
"Mineta, don't you think they might have been trying so hard because they actually have a way to kill him?" Asui asked, raising a valid point. "They did say they'd torture us all to death."
"True. Even the Number 1 Hero isn't completely invincible. After all, he's human, like all of you." Dominic said. 'To be honest, I could probably end him in hundreds of different ways.'
"I wonder if we'll even last until he arrives. Even if he does get here, I don't know if we'll make it out in one piece." Asui said grimly, terrifying Mineta.
Suddenly, Dominic swerved his head to the side, peering into the water. "We've got company." he said, directing everyone's attention to 16 different aquatic villains swimming towards them. "So, what's the plan?"
"If those guys have a way to kill All Might, then right now, we should be stopping whatever they're planning by defeating them." Midoriya said.
"I like that plan. Vague and unspecific." Dominic said with a smile as he looked over the edge of the boat.
"ARE YOU BOTH INSANE!?" Mineta screamed, unknowingly being half-right. "We can't fight these maniacs! We should just stay put and wait for the heroes to come!"
"They were expecting us to fight in the water, right?" Midoriya asked Dominic.
"It would seem so, yes. All of their Quirks fall into the Water Element." the blonde said, grimacing.
"Which means they probably knew beforehand what was in the USJ." the greenette deduced. "It's odd though. For people who gathered that much intel so meticulously, why would they bring you, Asu-" The boy cut himself off, blushing. "I mean Tsu! They sent you to the Shipwreck Zone!"
"Disregarding that hot mess, you have a point." Dominic said, making fun of his classmate while also praising him.
"Why is that important!?" Mineta asked, unaware of what Midoriya was thinking.
"It means they didn't know what our Quirks were. If they did, they would've sent her to the Fire Zone, where her powers are limited." the greenette explained. "They probably separated us because they had no idea what we could do and are trying to overpower us with numbers. Our only hope of winning lies in the fact that they don't know what our Quirks are."
"They're scared. Even if we are younger, they don't know if one of us has the power to take them all out at once." Dominic said. "In case you all haven't noticed, they aren't climbing on board. We should take the out and learn more about eachother's Quirks so we can form a plan of attack."
"I'll go first, then." Asui said, stepping forward. "I can jump high, stick to walls, and stick my tongue out up to about 20 meters. I can also remove the contents of my stomach at will, and secrete toxic mucus. The last two are useless in this situation though, so you should just forget about them."
"I already kinda knew, but you're really strong." Midoriya complimented. "I have super strength, but once I use it, I'm pretty much out of commission. It's like a double-edged sword."
"I can summon fire and blades of stone, but neither help in this scenario." Dominic said, holding out his hand and igniting a small fireball before it flickered away. "Even if they did work properly in Water Zones, I can't even touch water without falling apart. Why do you think I made this Neo Magma Suit cover every inch of my body?"
"Wait, you're seriously that frail?" Midoriya asked, to which the blonde nodded.
"My Quirk lets me stick these balls onto things super tightly." Mineta said, demonstrating his power on the wall of the ship. "Depending on how I'm feeling, they can even stick for a whole day. They grow back after I pull them off, but I'll start bleeding if I do it too quickly. They don't stick to me, though. They just bounce off." All four of the students just stayed silent for three seconds before Mineta started crying. "That's why I said we should wait quietly! My Quirk is useless in combat!"
"That's not it! It's an amazing Quirk!" Midoriya said, trying to calm the purplette down. "We should try and figure out a way to us-" The boy was cut off when a giant hand made out of water clawed at the hull of the boat, causing it to start sinking.
"And, we're dead." Dominic deadpanned, terrifying Mineta. The boy started lobbing his balls off the edge of the ship, worrying Midoriya.
As the greenette peered into the water, he saw something they could use to their advantage. None of the villains were touching the sticky balls. They made sure to keep away from them, since they didn't know if they were toxic or explosive. Having formed an idea, he turned back to Dominic. "Xiao-Long, I need your help."
15 seconds later, the aquatic villains were shocked to see Midoriya jump off the boat while screaming "Die!". The Water Claw villain tried swatting him away, but was too late. The boy had already shot off a smash attack, striking the water with a powerful gust of air and creating a whirlpool. "NOW!" he yelled. Once again, Gyarados appeared in a flash of sparkling light, catching Midoriya on it's ridges as Asui and Mineta rode on it's back.
Dominic, who was perched on Gyarados' head, watched as the whirlpool pulled all of the villains into one spot. "Now, Hyper Beam at the center of the vortex!" Roaring, the Atrocious Pokemon launched the attack, causing an explosion that knocked all of it's targets unconscious. After a while, the group made it to shallow water. To remain unnoticed for the time being, Dominic sent Gyarados back into it's Poke Ball. "We were lucky it only took a single attack. After using Hyper Beam, a Pokemon is incapable of executing another Move until it's opponent has taken it's turn." the blonde explained, recalling several instances where that fact helped him attain victory.
"We need to figure out our next move." Asui said.
"Getting help should be our next priority." Midoriya said, wincing as he wrapped his hand in black fabric. "We should follow the shore to avoid the central plaza."
"Makes sense. Mr. Aizawa and Charizard led a lot of villains there." Dominic said, watching as his partner battled in the distance.
"I think he's overexerting himself trying to protect us." Midoriya said, referring to Aizawa.
Mineta, seeing the look on the greenette's face, shouted in protest. "Oh, don't tell me you actually-"
"I'm not thinking of doing anything that'll get in his way." Midoriya said, cutting Mineta off. "But if we can find an opening and lessen his load even a little..."
"Then we may be able to turn the tides of this battle, pun not intended." Dominic said.
With this plan in mind, the quartet made their way to the edge of the shore, where the terrain was raised just enough to mask their presence. "Remember, we're only going to see how things are going. Ribbit." Asui said.
"Yeah. We'll run away the instant things seem dangerous." Midoriya agreed.
They watched in awe as Aizawa used both his Quirk and weapon to take out several villains at once with a combination of ferocity and grace. Dominic watched in pride as he watched Charizard's Earthquake launched three opponents into the air before knocking them all out with Air Slash.
After a minute, the cyan-haired boy covered in dismembered hands rushed at Aizawa. As soon as he laid hands on the hero's elbow, it began to disintegrate. Luckily for the man, Charizard was able to separate them by grabbing the boy and throwing him. It then turned back to Aizawa, who was now surrounded. Despite this, he still managed to take out all the assailants around him. The Pokemon's eyes widened when the large villain somehow appeared behind the man, it's blank eyes unnerving it.
The beast grabbed onto Aizawa's face and slammed it into the ground, splattering blood everywhere. Even when the man tried using Erasure, it had no effect on the behemoth's strength.
Charizard took a step back, knowing a close-range battle would be suicide. It wasn't until the cyan-haired boy turned to the lake and started running that the Pokemon sprang into action. It had no idea how, but he managed to get there in less than a second. He raised his hand to Asui, who was pushed out of the way by Dominic.
And as soon as his hand made contact with Dominic's face, everyone saw red as an inhuman shriek rang through the entire building.
Response to Jeyl: I appreciate the criticism. You're the first person in a few months to actually send a review like that to me.
As for why Dominic is set apart from other Trainers, he originally hails from another one of my stories. I have a trend of using him in a lot of my stories, mainly due to the fact that he's the only OC I have that I can easily write dialogue for.
Now, his personality is another issue entirely. But, it does make sense given his backstory. If you read "Reborn Into Revolution", you'll understand. Long story short, he has a bit of an inferiority complex, and has a habit of going into uncontrollable fits of rage when he's looked down on. Thankfully, this doesn't happen often as his unique powers and genetics make him the single most powerful being in the multiverse.
And as for wanting bad things to happen to him, I have one thing to say. Dominic has already gone through every conceivable bad thing that can occur in a person's life before he turned 17.
