Chapter 9: Frogs and Thunder
It was another day of class. Everyone thanks to the chat knew about Sero getting attacked. As they all got into the classroom a few students were asking questions.
"When you were attack did you tape dispensers disappear?" asked Hagakure
"I couldn't tell." Said Sero.
"Really?" sked Hagakure.
"You shouldn't be asking that!" scolded Iida.
"Oh yeah… sorry." Said Hagakure, "I was just curious in case I get attacked."
Iida was confused but that but then realized that if she had her quirk taken away she might become visible.
"Wait you think you might become visible?" asked Asui.
"Yeah." Said Hagakure.
"That does make sense." Said tie frog like girl.
"Yeah… I don't want to lose it but I would like to see what I look like." Said Hagakure.
However as the two girls talked Momo looked at them and realized something.
She knew she had to talk to the others about it.
During lunch she did tell them that she wanted to talk about it privately… though it would be difficult to talk about it during lunch…
However as it turned out there was a way to talk during lunch without skipping lunch.
Turned out certain teachers were setting aside a lunch for them in case they needed to talk in private during lunch.
"You've been making Bentos for us?" asked Ochaco surprised.
"Yeah. I figured that you might need to talk privately sometimes." Said Keiko.
"Who eats them if we don't?" asked Kyoka.
"My husband and daughter so don't worry about wasting them." Said Keiko.
And so they found a place to talk outside.
"So you think that the last Sailor Senshi is one of our classmates?" asked Izuku.
Momo nodded.
"I've heard stories about Principal Nezu." Said Momo, "And they know who we are… I wouldn't put it past him to have all of us in the same the same class."
"That does make some sense…" said Izuku.
"Do you think it's Toru or Tsuyu?" asked Ochaco.
"I don't know." said Momo.
"IT could be either of them." Said Ochaco.
"We really shouldn't follow them." Said Izuku.
"Really why?" asked Momo.
"If we follow them around it might give them the wrong idea…" mumbled Izuku, "I mean I used to observe my classmates quirks and they got the wrong idea that they accused me of stalking… and I don't want to get in on it right now."
They all looked at Izuku.
Though Ochaco knew the most about.
"Izu-Kun… what was your school called again?" asked Ochaco.
"It's fine Ochaco! You don't need to find my old classmates besides Kacchan!" said Izuku.
The other three sweat dropped.
"I just want names… it doesn't mean I'll do anything." Said Ochaco.
"Hey… why is your Bento different?" asked Kyoka changing the subject.
"Oh yeah… um…" said Izuku, "I'll explain another time."
This made the three that didn't know sweat drop.
He didn't wasn't sure if he should tell them yet.
Momo however cleared her threat.
Oh right the reason why they were talking in private.
"You're right we shouldn't follow them… but we should keep an eye on them." Said Momo.
"Fir all we know it might take weeks for her to get her powers." Said Mina.
"It's fine…" said Ochaco.
"I really want to know why we have these powers though." Pouted Mina.
They did hope it was sooner rather than later for sure.
"But seriously… why do you have a special bento?" asked Kyoka.
Izuku just sweat dropped.
"I'm sure if we tell her what we like we'll have special bents too." Said Ochaco.
"That just raises further questions!" said Mina.
After school of course students were cautious as they were leaving.
Hagakure was going through her phone.
Well you're an interesting one…" said a voice.
She looked up and saw the woman.
"Oh no…" said Hagakure.
Meanwhile Asui was walking home checking her phone to see if her parents texted her and when heard the scream.
She ran over and saw Hagakure on the ground with the crystal on her chest… she ducked away so that the woman couldn't see her to send a message about the attack.
With the Senshi and Izuku they were looking around to see if there was an attack when most of their phones chimed.
Though they did have to react to something first.
"Are you kidding me! "said Kyoka.
"What?" asked Ochaco.
"Kaminari made an immature joke about being sure if she got attacked." Said Kyoka.
"We should go through." Said Izuku.
"Just hold on a second!" said Mina.
Both she and Kyoka sent messages to Kaminari scolding him for that comment.
"We need to go." Said Ochaco.
"I can't believe Mineta beat us in scolding him!" yelled Mina suddenly.
Mineta was very much aware that his quirk sucked, and he knew that Hagakure was also pretty bad so it wasn't too supering he came to her defense.
Also other reasons…
But they sent their messages scolding Kaminari.
They found a place to transform and found.
They got to where the attack was happening and saw something that stopped then in their tracks.
On the ground was a translucent girl… with slightly multi-colored hair it was mostly green but there were other colors too, like pinks and blues, she also had a multi-colored eyes.
She was staring at her hands crying and seemed to becoming more and more visible.
Tuxedo Mask was angry at this.
However there was a problem… there was no monster in sight.
"Oh no…" said Tuxedo Mask realizing it first.
"What?" asked Sailor Moon.
Sailor Mercury was the suddenly attacked like she was punched.
Then Sailor Mars was slammed.
"That's really interesting…" said the woman, "You can't fight what you can't see! This is perfect!"
Sailor Mercury managed to get up.
"About that/…" she said.
She pressed and eared and blue goggles appeared on her fact.
"Oh right… that thing…" said the woman with a sweat drop.
Nearby Asui was still watching…
She knew she should leave… but at the same time… she couldn't help but to watch.
There was something also yelling her to stay as well.
Back with the fight…
So you can see?" asked Sailor Mars.
"I can!" said Sailor Mercury.
She had an idea.
She had a feeling as Shine Aqua Illusion would be too strong, but Bubble Spray wouldn't be strong enough.
"Bubble Spray freezing!" she called out.
The bubble hit the monster and created a freezing god and frost appeared on the monster creating outline.
"All right!" said Sailor Venus.
"I shouldn't attack it though." Said Sailor Venus.
"I think it will be fine." Said Tuxedo Mask.
Sailor Mars just sighed considering she was one of the one of the heavy hitters.
However Sailor Venus made the next move.
"Crescent Beam!" she called out.
Something that not even Hagakure knew was how her quirk actually worked.
When the light beam his the mostly invisible monster the beam became refracted and headed back to the Senshi.
:You could do that!" yelled the woman.
"I could do that!" yelled Hagakure surprised.
"Well it could be that the quirk works by refraction…" said Tuxedo, "The light is redirected because of it…"
"Wait do you think I can use light abilities?" asked Hagakure.
"Worry about that when you're not being drained by your quirk." Said Sailor Mars.
"Okay you have a point…" sighed Hagakure.
"Wow… I can't believe a quirk that just makes someone invisible so useful…" said the woman laughing.
Meanwhile Asui counited to watch.
That was when the feeling got stronger.
A green light appeared and wand appeared from the light. it was green, at the top was a golden star and the middle of the circle was the symbol of Jupiter.
She grabbed the wand and called out "Jupiter Star Power! Make-up!"
That was when she was engulfed in the lightening, which she realized that was what happened to her clothes, they lighting become a white leotard, which soon gained a green skirt and a green sailor collar. Pink ribbons appeared on her chest and lower back, on her arms white gloves with green pipping appeared, a she gained a pair of short green boots, a green choker appeared around her neck and a golden tiara with a green stone appeared on her forehead.
"What just happened?" she asked.
She looked at her reformation.
"I'll ask about this later." Asui or rather Sailor Jupiter.
She had a feeling that the other had answers and hopefully they would give them.
She ran into join.
Meanwhile… Both Tuxedo Mask tried his best to fight the monster, Sailor Mercury strained.
He tossed some roses at it and summoned his can to fight it.
The monster however got an idea and managed to create bright flash of light to diverting him.
"I have an idea." Said Sailor Mercury.
However that was when Sailor Jupiter showed up and felt an attack.
A small lighting lid rose from her tiara.
"Supreme Thunder!"
A massive bolt of lightning hit the monster.
"I did that?" asked Sailor Jupiter surprised.
"Or a Deux Ex Machina could save us…" said Sailor Moon.
Are you kidding me!" yelled the woman, "Also am I being trolled? Because you look WAY shorter than before… I think you might be shorter than the original Sailor Moon…"
Actually she was the same height as the last Sailor Moon… the buns made her look slightly taller though…
"Well that doesn't matter…" said the woman. "I can tell I already lost this…"
The woman scowled and disappeared.
Sailor Moon looked at the monster still had bits of frost on it and knew she had to finish it off.
"Time to finish it off." Said Sailor Moon.
"Wait!" cried Hagakure, "Don't kill it yet…"
Before any of them could ask why… she picked up phone…
"I'm in a lot of pain… so I don't think I can take it myself… but it's my only chance." She said.
They all realized what she meant… it was her only chance…
"I'll do it." Said Sailor Venus.
Hagakure handed her phone and Sailor Venus unlocked the phone with Hagakure telling the code and took a few pictures… tie was clear the normally invisible girl was in a lot of pain… but to finally see herself and what she looked like.
Sailor Venus gave the thumbs up.
"Moon taira action!" called out Sailor Moon.
The tiara hit the monster and it turned into light and that went into Hagakure, causing the crystal to fall off and she turned back to being invisible.
She recovered and she looked at the pictures very.
"My hair and eyes are so pretty!" she said, "It's too bad I can't see them all the time!"
"There might be a chance that you might be able to figure out a way to turn it off." Said Tuxedo Mask.
"What?" asked Hagakure,
"It seems like your Quirk is based on refraction." Said Tuxedo Mask .
"Oh that makes sense!" said Hagakure, "I'll have to figure out if I can!"
They soon parted ways.
"So… what is going on exactly." Said Sailor Jupiter.
"We have a lot to explain…" sighed Sailor Moon.
"You're Asui aren't you?" asked Tuxedo Mask.
"How did you know that?" she asked, "Also call me Tsu…"
They all turned back surprising their classmate and quickly gave her introductions to change back.
"So what's going on exactly and those powers?" asked Tsuyu.
"We have the powers of the first heroes for some reason." Said Izuku.
"We don't know why…" said Ochaco, "But they said when they found all of us they'll explain it all."
"You're going to have to wait to wait tomorrow." Said Keiko showing up.
"Of course we do." Sighed Kyoka.
"Actually it's because I'm not the only one explaining." Said Keiko.
"Setsuna… right?" asked Izuku.
Momo was a little confused.
"Yes." Said Keiko, "As well as my husband… also he means Setsuna Meio not Setsuna Tokege."
"Oh…" said Momo.
Setsuna Tokege was one of the other recommendation student but in 1-B.
"Toshinori also wants to join the in the explanation." Said Keiko, "Since he does have to explain things."
"Toshinori?" asked Tsuyu.
"All Might." Said Keiko.
"Wait he knows?" asked Tsuyu.
"He's in a weird spot." Said Kyoka.
"Yeah." Said Izuku.
"I guess we can wait for answer tomorrow." Said Ochaco.
"I still have no idea what's going on…" said Tsuyu.
"Oh right we need to explain the Sailor Senshi better." Said Izuku.
The next day before class started… Hagakure was showing off the pictures that were taken.
"Oh wow you're so pretty!" said Mina even though she was the one to take the pictures.
She did have to cover her trail after all.
"Yeah… it really hurt a lot… but I wouldn't be able to see what I look like." Said /Hagakure.
"Oh wow!" said Kaminari, "You look…"
His words died as several classmates glared at him.
"Yeah… I saw the joke you made." Said Hagakure.
"Oh come on! I didn't mean anything like that." Said Kaminari.
"It wasn't funny… I had to watch that happen to her." Said Asui… well Tsuyu.
"It was just a joke…" said Kaminari trying to defend himself.
Ochaco did somewhat watch this… but she was more thinking about that afternoon…
As they would have more answers later that day… about why they had their powers… soon they would know the truth…
And it would be something that change everything…
Next Time: They learn the truth about why they have these powers... namely reincarnation... how will they take and what about the other Senshi reincarnated? Find out next time!
