(The morning after Lincoln's birthday party)
"Ahhhhhh!! Aright, everyone, it's time to get up."said Lori, who was the first to wake up.
"You don't have to tell me, bra."said Luna, who was the second person to wake up.
One by one, each of the loud sisters began waking up to begin the new day after having an exciting time at Gus's games and grubs for Lincoln's birthday party. Each one of them began doing their usual routines that they usually do when they begin a day.
First all of them changed out of their pajamas. Then they headed into the bathroom so that they could begin fighting / brushing their teeth / brushing their hair/hogging all the water.
"Guys, I'm going to take a shower so give me five."said Lori as the sisters began to take out buckets of water out so they can finish brushing their teeth.
Five minutes later Lori came out of the shower, refreshed as ever as she noticed that one of her siblings didn't seem to be up and Adam like the rest of them.
"Lincoln, wake up! I know you had an amazing time at your birthday party last night, but that's no reason for you to sleep in."said Lori she made her way over to Lincoln's room and open the door.
...Only to see that he wasn't there, along with the fact that was clear evidence that someone had packed a bunch of his stuff and it was no longer in the room.
"What?"said Lori, as the rest of her siblings went in to see what had happened.
"Where's Lincoln?"asked Leni, everything that hereverything that her little brother wasn't anywhere to be seen.
"Dude, it looks like a lot of his clothes are missing."said Luna, as she began to look through Lincoln's room and noticed that a lot of his clothes were missing.
"Along with some other items he had on hand."said Lynn, noticing that a lot of Lincoln's personal items were also missing.
"What is going on?"asked Luan, as she was just as dumbfounded as everyone else.
"Kids, come downstairs!"shouted their mother from the first floor.
"The Loud sisters quickly went downstairs, thinking that Lincoln may be downstairs waiting for them and that this is all some kind of twisted joke, as a lot of them came to a conclusion that they did not like one bit.
But once they got downstairs they saw their grandfather Leonard along with their parents, sitting in the dining table with stern looks on their faces.
"Mom, Dad. Where is Lincoln?"asked Lola, wondering where her big brother was.
"That is why I'm here, everyone. To explain to you where Lincoln is right now."said Leonard with a serious expression on his face.
"Gramps, what is going on?"asked Lana, wondering why her grandfather was looking so serious.
"Lincoln... Lincoln will be staying with a friend of mine for a while in the Sea of Japan."said Leonard calmly, as the loud house went quiet.
So quiet that you could hear a pen drop in the house for the first time.
"WHAT?!"shouted the Loud sisters at the same time.
"That was my birthday present for him. A good friend of mine was researching something that I thought would interest Lincoln and Lincoln said yes. So now for the next couple of weeks he'll be somewhere in the Sea of Japan."explained Leonard with detail.
"And you guys said yes to that?"asked Lori as she looked at her parents.
"Your grandfather made a sound argument at Lincoln's birthday party."said Lynn Sr.
"Your grandfather just explained to us that Lincoln was extremely excited about going so we decided why should we get in his way. Lori, we cannot tell you how difficult it is for us for one of our children to leave the nest so early, but your grandfather told us how responsible his friend is so we believe that Lincoln will be okay."explained Rita.
"But Lincoln is fairly even a preteen."said Leni, wondering why her parents agreed to let Lincoln go somewhere so far far away.
As even she knew that Japan was extremely far away!
"We did have concerns about that but your grandfather explained to us that Lincoln will be okay over there as it will be plenty of food and shelter for him."said Lynn Sr, who had his doubts but his father cleared those up.
"And who exactly is this friend of Gramps?"asked Luna, wondering who his friend was.
"His name is Samuel Oak, Professor Samuel Oak. He and I go way back after he saved my life during a fishing expedition I had in the Sea of Japan. I owe that man a lot and when he said that he was going to reach her something and he explained to me what that thing was, I thought for sure that Lincoln would want to be a part of that and when I asked Lincoln about it he said yes."said Leonard carefully, as he wanted his grandchildren to know that Lincoln chose to go to the Sea of Japan.
"But why would Lincoln make such an important choice without consulting us first?!"asked Luan, wanting to know why Lincoln didn't talk to them first.
"This was Lincoln's choice and Lincoln wanted to go."clarified their father, as Lynn Sr wondered at the same time why his daughters felt like Lincoln needed to ask them first.
"But we're family! We're supposed to make such important decisions as a group!"said Lynn, wanting to know why Lincoln made such an important choice without them.
"He could have at least said goodbye!"said Lucy, upset that Lincoln didn't do that much.
"I'm I'm afraid that is in Lincoln's fault as there was a limited time span he could get to the Sea of Japan so he couldn't exactly say goodbye and for that I'm truly sorry."said Leonard, wanting his granddaughters to know that it wasn't his grandson's fault that he didn't say goodbye.
"Still!"said Lola, as Lincoln had a phone and he could have at least said something to them.
"Girls! Lincoln may be your brother, but he's also his own person who will have to make his own decisions one day and we thought he was ready to make his own decision by going with your grandfather's friend to the Sea of Japan. He will be staying on an island known as Kanto, helping Professor Oak with his research."said Rita sternly.
"And what exactly will Lincoln be helping this Professor Oak study?"asked Lisa, as she was curious as to what a fellow researcher of science was studying.
"He will be helping Professor Oak study the local Flora and Fauna of Kanto."said Lynn Sr.
"So, he'll be helping this Professor Oak study the local plant and wildlife. That sounds like something I would want to do."said Lana, who kind of wish you knew about that before Lincoln left.
"Your not old enough and Lincoln is... also these aren't your run-of-the-mill animals."said Leonard, with the final part under his breath so no one would hear him.
"I... I just can't believe Lincoln is not here."said Lola, as what was she going to do without her pageant coach.
"Yeah, who's going to help us and be the mediator."said Leni, as she knew that Lincoln helped a lot around the house.
"Lincoln will call and see how you guys are doing as soon as he can. But he probably won't call often because he'll be having too much fun out there."said Leonard with a smile.
"And how exactly will studying plants and animals be fun?"asked Luna, as that sounded like school work to her.
"Well, Samuel has some unorthodox ways of doing his research that I'm sure Lincoln will enjoy doing. Lincoln reminds me a lot of Samuel and I figure the two will get along greatly."said Leonard, as he was sure that Lincoln will fall in love with Pokemon as Professor Oak did when he was Lincoln's age.
"This... this is just too much! First you're telling me that my little brother is not here and that he's literally on the other side of the world, but he'll probably communicate with us when he feels like it! It's just wait too much right now and I need to decompress."said Lori, as her older sister instincts were telling her that something was very wrong with this.
How could her own parents agree to send their son to the other side of the world just because their grandfather knew the man who would be taking care of Lincoln in the meantime?! It just didn't make any sense to her.
"I know Professor Oak personally girls, and I can tell you he's a very kind man who will take good care of your brother."said Lynn Sr, as long ago he met the man who saved his father's life and could vouch for his character.
"You meet him?"asked Leni with confusion.
"He came back with your grandfather to the States after he saved his life and I couldn't stop thanking him for saving your grandfather. I got to know him and I know he is a stand-up person. That is one of the major factors that led me agreeing to this."said Lynn Sr, as he wouldn't have let his son go if he didn't know the person personally.
"And that is how your father convinced me to let Lincoln go."said Rita in her husband's defense.
"Lincoln..."said Lily, who look like she was close to crying.
"Don't worry, Lily. Lincoln will come back in no time at all. You all just need to live your normal day-to-day lives until he comes back. I'm sure that won't be much time as time will move by fast, I'm sure of that."said Leonard, making Lily feel better as soon as she heard that Lincoln will come back.
"Well gang, why don't I get breakfast ready as a little food will make you feel a lot better."said Lynn Sr, as he figured a bit of his famous breakfast will make his family feel a lot better about one of their own being literally on the other side of the world.
That is when the Loud sisters stomachs began rumbling.
"I'll take that as a yes."said Lynn Sr as he made his way into the kitchen to begin cooking breakfast.
"Well, I'll stick around for a while until Lincoln comes back as I really don't have anything better to do. My boat is in the shop getting some necessary repairs as there was some damage to the motor, not to mention all the barnacles that have to be scraped off."said Leonard, making his granddaughters minus Lana make faces as barnacles were gross.
"Lucky."said Lana, as she wishes she could have scraped the barnacles off her grandfather's ship.
"Well... I'm going to use the head. Rita, can you be a deer and help me up the stairs as I don't want to accidentally fall and break my hip again."said Leonard.
"Sure Leonard, no problemo."said Rita, actually got up from her seat to help Leonard get up the stairs.
"Loud sister huddle!"declared Lori, making the Loud sisters huddle around one another.
"I don't like this one bit."said Lori.
"Yeah, how can Lincoln have gone and not even convince Gramps to let him say goodbye."said Leni.
"Dude, this is all fishy."said Luna.
"I know there is something prong. Hahahaahaha. But seriously, I think Gramps is hiding something from us."said Luan.
"But what could it be?"asked Lynn.
"What ever it is it has something to do with Kanto."said Lucy.
"Yeah, like why would this whole study plants and animals thing interest Lincoln in the first place?"asked Lola.
"But if Lincoln wanted this, should we really get in his way?"asked Lana.
"All we know is that something fishy is going on. Besides I'm curious as to who this Professor Oak is."said Lisa.
"Poo poo."said Lily.
"Okay. Then it's agreed. We find out the real reason Lincoln wanted to go to this Kanto place."said Lori, with her siblings voicing their agreement.
[With the knowledge that their brother is now on the other side of the world, the Loud sisters begin their investigation into what their grandfather is not telling them. Will the Loud sisters find out about Pokemon? Will they discover the existence of Scorbunny? Only time will tell as the journey continues]
