Chapter 158: Twin patrol
Soon, the Midoriya twins and their comrades wish each other luck as they went separate ways with their mentors, with the twins themselves heading toward America with King Mighty. When they reach America, they were greeted by a hero with a steel quirk, who then told the twins that they will be with Bat Woman. The twins then went with Bat Woman as she lectures them about the responsibilities of heroes before explaining how things are more serious since Tartarus was destroyed, causing Kouna to get bored, while Hisashi calmly agrees with Bat Woman before saying that they need to teach the Devil Brats a lesson for what they've done to Japan. Bat Woman then smiled and let the twins patrol a designated area, which caused Kouna to get overly excited and rush ahead much to Hisashi's dismay as he told Bat Woman that he got this. While patrolling, Kouna asks Hisashi why they are doing this when they could just hunt the Devil Brats and beat them up for almost killing their parents, causing Hisashi to sternly tell Kouna not to be her usual self, especially now that heroes are needed more than ever, and unless she wants to be punished with severe consequences, she must cooperate with the council and respect their wishes. Kouna then pouted before agreeing to cooperate.
After patrolling the area, the twins and Bat Woman return to the meeting spot, where King Mighty say that they encountered the villain that working for the Devil Brats and he said that the Devil Brats are working hard to destroy everything that creates peace and harmony, and the hero society will be the first thing to go down, which caused Kouna to get fired up and say that they will destroy the Devil Brats. After Hisashi knocked some sense into his twin sister, King Mighty gets a call from a hero saying that Cadet 1a have gone missing when they were chasing a villain, causing the twins to start panicking before taking off despite the adults' effort to calm them down. Lucas then called the twins about the cadets being missing because of villains, which caused Kouna to fly off into the air as King Mighty managed to catch up to them and say that he's going to help them find the cadets. Soon, the twins reunite with their comrades, so they can go find Cadet 1a together as a montage begins. The montage then ends with the Peanut Gallery in despair until a hero gets their attention and give them a note from Hannah.
Kouna then steps forward to take Hannah's note, which say that she and her fellow cadets were chasing a goon that was hired by the Devil Brats to get stuff for an upcoming operation until the Devil Brats themselves ambushed them so they can turn them into drugs. The Peanut Gallery then gasp as Pomegranate took the note to continue reading it until she got to a part where the pencil drew a line straight down to the bottom, causing the pro heroes to speculate that Overhaul is reviving the operation to use children's blood to make drugs just to turn people into instant villains and overwhelm heroes from around the world. That night, the Peanut Gallery took a breather in their dormitory until Gus say that they will definitely make the Devil Brats pay and take them down for sure, causing the rest of the Peanut Gallery to become eager with fire in their eyes as they agree with him.
