Poseidon laid on the seafloor battered and bruised. For 100 hours straight he had fought Pontus and the Primordial had held back in the slightest. Everytime Poseidon seemed to be making some type of headway Pontus would seemingly change his entire fighting style. First spears of water attacking from every angle when Poseidon was finally able to read the patterns it was a sword of hardened water. Right before Poseidon could strike bullets of water tore through his body. The water around him made healing instant but did little for the pain of the impact.
"Your back seems to adore the ground pretender." Pontus said in a mocking tone while standing above him.
"I know what you're doing Pontus." Poseidon said between labored breaths
"Enlighten me godling." Pontus said as he yawned.
"You're trying to get me to assume that berserker form again. You're hoping that i'll tame but the truth is….." Poseidon said, looking away.
"The truth is what?" Pontus said, opening one eye.
"I've never been able to truly control it."
"What?"
"All the Olympians assume it's so easy but that's because their domains are pitiful. I mean seriously, agriculture? Wine? The sky? The sea can literally influence the entire planet. I have to manage having that kind of force within me and very few enemies have actually pushed me that far." Poseidon finished. Pontus looked at the god curiously.
"I see…what's stopping you from achieving control."
"Focus and practice." Poseidon said slowly rising
"Wrong." Pontus said while staring straight at the Sea god.
"Then what." Poseidon said indignantly.
"You are of the sea but you are not the sea. The power that the water has is limitless. However that power can't arise whenever you desire. The power comes in response to a need and you have yet to truly create that need." Pontus answered.
"I am literally fighting a war." Poseidon said with a scowl.
"Have you lost a single soldier? Has your castle been plundered? Do you weep for any dead? Please you aren't at war, you're barely even playing at it"
"HE is literally on my doorstep. His base can see the sea." Poseidon argued
"That just means the sea can see him. I understand now. You have not experienced any loss yet and such your power refuses to expose itself." Pontus said
"Get up, we have more training to do." Pontus said as he began to rise. Poseidon rose as the weight of Pontus' words landed on him.

Kronos was taken aback by the immortal in front of him. Like the rest of the divine world he had assumed that this god had faded but here he was with godlings no less. Kronos could tell from the way Zeus rushed his explanation that this godling was not one that required details. The clenching of the immortals (whose name was apparently "Frank") jaw at the mention of the death of Mars was all he needed to be convinced.
"So where is he?" Frank said through gritted teeth.
"Canada, funny enough." Zeus answered. Frank's eyes were glued to the ground. An uncomfortable amount of time passed before he met the gaze of the King of Gods.
"Fine. I'm taking him down." Frank said with steely resolve.
"You're not strong enough." Kronos said flatly. Zeus turned and faced his father, his features contorting into a look that the Titan recognized as "shut up".
"What? Was I supposed to lie to him? You saw what that demon is capable of." Kronos said, crossing his arms.
"You really are a ray of sunshine huh time Titan." Frank said. "Come with me." The trio made their way to the basement of the cabin. When Frank turned on the light Zeus and Kronos could feel it. The subtle vibration in the air. "What is-" Zeus said before Frank held a hand up. Cocking his fist back Frank struck the wall with enough force to shake the home's foundation. As the concrete wall fell it revealed a glowing orb of gold and black. Zeus stood astonished.
"Is that Hazels?" Zeus asked. Frank could only nod.
"When she chose to fade she felt as though we would have more wars to fight and in that moment I would need her strength." Frank said. "This is her godly power". Kronos nodded in approval.
"As far as power up goes, that is a sure fire way of growing your strength exponentially. When divine strength is willingly given, the powers multiply and give birth to something brand new." Kronos said with a glint in his eye.
"Jason isn't going to like it but I'm going to become the new God of War. I can say with the utmost certainty that if he even approaches that throne it's going to reject him it shouldn't be him." Frank's eyes met Zeus's and for the first time the king of the gods saw the resolve that the young deity held. "It's going to be me".

Percy was feeling proud. His children were strong and they were on the cusp of something magnificent. On the day that they would be heading off to face their respective gods in combat, Percy took each one of them into the time dilated training room for what was a month on the inside but only two hours on the outside. During this time in each of them he had seen the potential to grow to the peaks of what a demigod was truly capable of and he was sure that this next battle with their lives on the line would push them to break through the ceilings of their potential and rise into something truly magnificent. Luke and Abi, Ethan and Sarah, and finally Zoe and Wale assembled in the courtyard with all of the Jaegers there to see them off. It has been decided that Selena would transport them directly to the front of Camp Olympus. There they would grab their opponents and flash to secure locations to engage in battle.
"Remember." Percy said with a sarcastic finger wide. " No fighting at that campsite. Drag them away if you have to."
" Is this you going soft because I'm not a fan?" Clarisse smirked. Percy couldn't help but actually laugh out loud.
"No, not at all. It's just Gaea once showed me a vision of Camp Half-Blood being burned to the ground and there being nothing left and I'll be damned if I'm the reason she turned out right." Percy said. "Is it petty? Yes, am I above being petty? Nope"
"I totally understand that." Selena said.
Out of the corner of his eye he could see that Ethan was tapping his wrist indicating that it was time for them to go.
" Okay okay just give me one second Night Guy" Percy said as he took a knee in front of his kids.
"You guys got this okay, it's just like we practiced, give those Olympians a reason not to look down on Mortals."
"We'll take them down." Abi said with a smile
"We got this pops" Wale said fist bumping Percy
" They won't know what hit them." Sarah said. The three stepped back and fell in line beside their respective generals as Serena raised her hands and their Shadows lifted up to overtake them transporting them to their destinations.

"So you and Silena ready to go?" Percy asked, facing his girlfriend.
"Oh definitely we are 100% prepped and ready to go it shouldn't take more than an hour all around but if we need you will call for you." Clarisse answered with a smile.
"Remember try not kill any immortals unless absolutely necessary." Percy said.
"Okay Dad, gosh you act like we're supervillains with no impulse control." Silena said sarcastically.
"I've watched you throw a train into a castle to prove a point. You are a supervillain."Percy answered.
"Don't worry, we'll be back before you know it." Clarisse said before kissing Percy. Percy waved as Selena and Clarice took the rest of the Jaegers through an inky black portal that Silena had conjured up. According to the two they decided that at this point in their training the Jaegers needed one more thing before they were a true battle hardened battalion. Percy absolutely refused to ask any questions as he remembered he had a promise of his own to fulfill.
"You know, Clarisse heard you going in on Hestia and I gotta say you're a lot softer than I remember Medusa." Percy said with a smile.
" Shut up Perseus, I just didn't like that Olympian acting as if she was better than everyone else." Medusa said with a shrug.
" You know she can probably hear you."
" I hope she does." Medusa said, increasing the volume of her voice to just below a yell. Percy completely failed at trying to surprise his laugh when he recomposed himself and looked Medusa in the eye and asked.
"You ready."
"Let's get it over with."
"I just want to say thank you again. You really did save my life down there." Percy said
" All I did was distract a Titan that hardly counts as saving your life." Medusa answered. Percy raised both hands to the head of Medusa and closes his eyes, focusing intently. A few seconds passed as Percy opened his eyes suddenly and closed his hands around the air around Medusa's head and pulled almost as if he were struggling to grab the yellow Mist-like creature from around her. As he pulled the yellow Vapor creature away, Medusa's features began to transfigure and morph and for the first time in several millennia Medusa looked as she had before she was cursed by Athena. Voluminous blonde hair cascaded down to her back startling green eyes met him as he smiled wide at her. Without looking Percy shot a bolt of black flame at the yellow mist creature. The shot pierced it right through the heart as it dissolved into mist. Percy then conjured a mirror and held it up for Medusa to see herself. Tears began to well up in her eyes as her hands covered her mouth. Medusa burst forward engulfing Percy in the tightest hug he fell in a while; Medusa was now openly sobbing as Percy just smiled once again, being assured that his decision to bring down Olympus was the right one.
