Junior Pov:
"Back to square one, alone with nothing more then the albums that taught me everything and the guitar I had to figure out to make from the stuff that got brought from the gates. I don't want to sound so depressed but maybe I should have stayed hidden, I mean what's the point? Literally going to bars performing was the most idiotic thing that I ever thought would help me try to fit in. It was a fools errand that I should have thought about before even going to those places, it doesn't matter anymore. The only thing I can do is keep away from others and allow Kaiju's who know my scent to come to me on my own terms. Which is the mountain where I was born in, along have a throne wait for them if they beat me."
Morning-Gojira Mountain
Retreating back to his birth place, Junior had to suffer a entire night of fighting several Kaiju's that had managed to find him after leaving the school. One after another Kaiju's seek to beat him and take his title, however it eventually ended the same. Junior throwing them off the mountain and breaking either their bones or one of their body parts. Right now Junior was holding onto a arachnid Kaiju as he held him by one of his legs, hurling him off outside the lizard was breathing in and out irritated at how he didn't have a time to catch a moment of air.
"Who else wants some?!"
Roaring into the air in anger and questioning whoever might want to fight him again. His voice echoed throughout the sky which scared off some birds along making the animals below run away in fear of the angered Kaiju. Junior now seeing no sign of any other Kaiju's decided to retreat back to his cave, where he saw that the fight had made cracks in the wall along covered in body shaped holes and a set of broken fangs and teeth. Walking over to his rock like throne he sat down as well looked at his guitar which he used during his fights, grabbing onto the handle it soon broke.
"Damn it all!"
Letting out a frustrated yell as he throws the broken piece at the wall which ricochets off to the side and hits his forehead. Collapsing on the ground at his own anger, Junior did nothing but look at the rocky surface above him questioning his life choices.
"What am I doing? I've been all my life. Not having any chance to develop or have a moment to control it. Maybe I should let them beat me."
Suggesting a idea of how maybe the next Kaiju that comes up the mountain he would allow him to beat him. Let it become the new king and deal with this problem, continuing to look upwards he heard footsteps coming right towards him as Junior sighs at whoever it might be.
"Look buddy, if you want the crown then take it. I mean it's basically a name of one of the albums I have in the.."
Before he could finish his sentence he felt something flying at him which was a rock, collapsing on the ground he didn't know what attacked him. Remaining still due to the hard impact of the rock he saw a figure standing at the entrance, his eyes couldn't focus as if the rock made his vision impossible to concentrate.
"Take it? Your not a pet that rolls over, your a beast that bites whoever threatens you."
The voice spoke out as Junior took a closer look at the figure who had a long spiked tail like his, a tall body as well eyes that were the same along how the look on the lizard's face showed both a veteran look of many battles and wisdom. His eyes widen at the sight of the mysterious figure and was about to stand up seeing how this couldn't be real.
"Dad?"
Calling out to him as the response to the name soon met with a foot stomp to his chest. Keeping Junior on the ground, the Kaiju looked at his parental figure as Gojira merely sighs at how things had turned for him.
"I may have not been here to raise you, but you did not come down this mountain to come back a coward. This is not your destiny."
Speaking to him in a stern manner of how he had seem to know his childhood from leaving his birth place to now coming back after the events of Monster High. All that Junior could do in his situation was thinking that he was hallucinating about his father being here due to how long he was fighting all night.
"Yeah, the hallucination giving me moral support from my father. Could have gotten from Komos but sure, why not."
Giving up on how there was no sense in figuring out how this was possible and gave in to the possible father who's been hiding in the shadows for the past several years. Gojira merely growled at him for how Junior was responding to him as he decided to continue his talk with the boy.
"Whether you believe if I'm real or not is up to you. Know that even if you believe that your helping your friends, your merely distancing yourself from them and the realm around you."
Instructing him how that even if Junior thinks what he's doing was right, it was wrong to turn his back away on the monsters and Kaiju's he's befriended. The Kaiju boy merely growled at the response at how the way Gojira stated to him made it sound like if he was abandoning them.
"Abandon? Like how you did to me? I was nothing more than a hatchling when I came out of my egg. I saw no parents, no home no nothing. Just that damn message you left me and the fear of having been attacked everyday!"
Letting out his anger at the hallucination as his eyes glowed along his tail, before he could possibly let out any kind of attack. Gojira stepped on his stomach stopping the process seeing how he knew where the exact spot he could stop Junior from using his abilities. Still feeling tired and unconscious about what was happening he decided to lay back on the ground listening to the hallucination.
"What happened, was not by choice. And that you'll soon enough learn about it. Which you could have done when you were at the school. Now? Will only remain here confused about what you truly want."
Stating how Junior had all the time to read up on what happened to him he instead read about how dangerous he was and the creatures he's battled. Junior remain silent about how if he hadn't been focused on keeping to himself and being paranoid, he might have learned how he changed himself for both monster and Kaiju kind. The words felt like a punch to the heart of how he explained it, more or less made him feel like after all that he had done and seen Junior wasted his opportunity.
"Still, no matter what circumstances that had happened to you or the others. The choice of accepting what you are, is always up to you."
Gojira's explained as Junior's ears felt like the words were drifting away like if he was in a dream. His eyes slowly lose his vision of his father as it begun to blur away, sure enough his eyes straightened to where he didn't see his father standing over him but another Kaiju. A two horned creature he was holding a boulder in his right hand as he was the reason for hitting him right at the entrance.
"For the past couple of minutes you've been rambling about what you are and feeling abandon. I'm sorry, but in times like these. Kaiju's need a strong leader, and not a child."
Stating to him as he raised the boulder in the air about to deliver the final blow to Junior as it seemed he was about to have his life end. Suddenly Junior showed a smile and couldn't help but laugh at the Kaiju who was threatening to crush him with the rock.
"When do Kaiju's have wool?"
Pointing out to the attacker as it took a moment to look at his chest seeing white wool as well getting scared at the sight. Dropping the rock to the side along moving back, the Kaiju suddenly changed into a ram. Junior slowly standing up and taking a moment to look at the Kaiju turned ram, it fled away from his sight and heading outside of the cave where the person responsible stood by the side.
"I guess even the son of Gojira needs a helping hand, even if he decided to leave without telling us."
The voice spoke out as it was Draculaura who was responsible for the sudden transformation while being accompanied by Clawdeen and Frankie who managed to find the mountain. The lizard merely sighs at the response as he tried to stand up and wobbling a bit due to how much fighting's he's done.
"Helping hand? I've got everything under. Control."
He tried to tell the vampire before he passed out on the ground passing out in a instant. The three ghouls took a look to see if he needed help and check his injuries to see if he needed help, with how the cave looked and his stuff being destroyed it take a while before they had their friend back to his normal self.
Later
Several hours passed away since their arrival and how they helped treat Junior's wounds. They've kept a watchful eye out for any Kaiju's that might try to take another whack at him. After getting several bandages on him along getting a proper sleep, Junior was confused about how they managed to come to this exact location and came right at the moment where he was about get bite the big one.
"Let me guess, the way how you found me was Clawdeen sniffing out my scent or Draculaura using a spell of location?"
Questioning the possible ways of how they managed to find him and figure out which mountain he talked about where he was born in. Frankie smiled at the question where they pulled out their Icoffin where it showed the exact pinpoint of where Junior was.
"You didn't turn off your 'Find my Fiends' app. It's rather accurate in long distances."
Showing him how his phone seemed to have been on during his travel here, Junior sighs in a annoyed manner that during his brief moment of leaving the school he forgot to turn off his Icoffin. Seeing that the close was clear and no signs of Kaiju attackers coming towards them, Clawdeen walked over to others and try to talk sense into Junior.
"Along that we're in this together, and no matter what we don't leave anyone behind. That's what friends do."
Expressing on how even after what has happened and how Junior almost endangered them back at the school they still saw that it wouldn't be right to let him leave in sadness. The Kaiju merely breathes threw his nose about that sentence seeing how he didn't know how to respond to her or the others.
"Friends. That's something I never knew, more importantly that I once begged for it. But know why I can't have it, because what I am requires me to be alone."
Stating to them that he once desired to be with people like him and know what it's like to be part of a group. Though what he did and the fighting he's gone threw he realized that there was no place for people in his life. They were going argue with him about how it was wrong, but was interrupted by his scales and eyes glowing due to how he was feeling.
"I was born out of rage and power, the only reason why I exist is so that I can deal with my father's drama."
Expressing a sadness about how it seemed that being the 'king' was facing people who want the title while his father could rest in peace in the after life. Hearing his voice the three could see that what he said was true, however Clawdeen shook her head at his statement.
"I thought that two, thinking about the drama of being here and trying to be monster enough for the school. I still want to be, but not at the expense of losing a friend after what has happened."
Giving him some words of wisdom to while she had to deal with being a human and werewolf while looking for a cure to end this conflict. Clawdeen wanted to have the people who helped her on this journey be with her until the end, though for Junior didn't know what to say since it was still confusing for him to choose what to do.
"We've come this far, we should see what's at the end for us. Right?"
Draculaura suggesting that even with what's happened they should still finish it as friends, no matter how things have turned out. Looking at the view from the entrance Junior merely felt a sense that even if he's ended a possible chance to make Monster High his home. He could still give Clawdeen a chance of making it a home, as well fixing a mistake he made to them all.
"If we're lucky, there's a chance to show the monsters and other Kaiju's at Founder's Day how your different and might get you a chance to be at the school."
Frankie offering their option that if the group could help Clawdeen be a full they could get Junior to be accepted by everyone and not seen as a threat. While it seemed impossible with what happened at the school and the fact that Junior gave Komos money to keep his whereabouts hidden, Frankie still believed in lizard of finding a home for him at Monster High. Deciding to not argue with them, Junior decided to go with them in helping out Clawdeen and handling this dilemma once and for all.
Night time-Monster High Graveyard
Right underneath the full moon was the school having it's Founder's day meeting with several parents from both monster and Kaiju sides. While everyone was participating in the event, the small group was heading into the graveyard where they would head back to the mausoleum. Arriving at the door steps they took a moment to look at the hand print as well thinking about how if it was possible to unlock it.
"While we were making our way to you. I was able to examine the hand print noticing how it was human shaped, as well there being a chance. Clawdeen could open the door."
Frankie showing them the hand print that could possibly be the same as Clawdeen's human hand. In which the wolf girl looked at her hand taking a moment to think about it, as well see if she could bring out her human side. Closing her eyes and calming the pacing of her heart and focus on her hand becoming human while leaving the rest of herself a wolf. The others watched at how her clawed hand had suddenly become human like which caught them off by surprise.
"It's like you have a power that makes you less powerful. Interesting."
Junior complimenting her as Clawdeen smiled at how the one time her human side could help out was in a moment like this. Looking at the entrance she walked over to the door where she placed the palm of her hand right at the handprint. Pushing it in Clawdeen moved back as the four watched at how the door opened up in a dark entrance where the four saw a set of stairs going downwards to where the lab might be.
"Spooky entrance. Killer, let's see what we can dig up."
Draculaura expressing a fascination on what it would be like if they entered as the four soon journeyed within the crypt. Seeing cobwebs and other types of creepy like objects that would be in a place like this, the four stumble upon what looked like a tomb with a female figure statue on top.
"It's. Pandora."
Clawdeen stated as well taking a look at how it was modeled just like her, right down to the detail. However there was no sign of Hyde's laboratory or any kind of door to show them another way into it. Taking a look at the tomb Junior noticed that there was a piece on Pandora's tomb which didn't belong.
"She never had a monocle."
Junior pointing out as the ghouls came by the side to examine it as he was right, Hyde had a monocle when he was a teacher here for Monster High. Taking a better look at it the eye seemed to be squishy like as well not like the tomb.
"It's a button."
"No. It's a eye."
Both Clawdeen and Frankie argued as Draculaura decided to push it to see if it was a button. To which it caused a mechanism to move within the room, looking at a wall it soon moved away showing another room. The four soon walk into the other room where they saw a surprising sight, Hyde's laboratory. Each of them took a moment to examine the area as well see numerous items from research books to vials and test tubes.
"Calcium chloride? Ammonium nitrate? Oh, is this plutonium? Have I died again and gone to mad scientist heaven?"
Frankie exploring most of the ingredients as well getting ideas of making possibly a small explosion. Though Junior stopped them since they needed to stay focus on the mission, meanwhile for Clawdeen. She was staring at a test tube which had the word 'cure' labeled on the side. The others took a look at it seeing how they had found the serum that would help the wolf girl stay in her monster form.
"Are you sure that'll keep you a werewolf? Or will it turn you human?"
Junior asking her as it could be anything since there wasn't anything else left labeled but that serum. Clawdeen looked concern since it was a grave decision to make, along how it might be what Junior was after. Taking a moment to think about it, she looked at the others conflicted at this decision.
"I. Can't do it."
Stating to them as she looked at the others for this choice as she lowered her head at the choice. The three saw how the wolf girl didn't want to take the chance, Junior could see it as well acknowledge her decision while the others said nothing as it felt serious for her. Without any of them noticing they felt another breath in the room which they turn around seeing Mr. Komos, who was surprised at them all being here.
"Mr. Komos. We can explain."
"No. You don't have to, I understand."
The teacher stated as the teenagers couldn't believe or imagine him following them or possibly figuring out where they were. What was more surprising was he wasn't angry with them but concern for their safety, especially for Clawdeen about the serum she had in her hands.
"I was worried this was your plan along studying Hyde's work. Especially how you think it will help, it won't. Because I know what it's like being a outsider, because I'm half human to."
Informing them about his other side which surprised them all about him being half human. Taking a moment to accept this news and not moving, they looked at their teacher seeing how he had a concern look for their safety and making a mistake.
"There's a better way in handling this issue, and fixing everything. I just need you all to trust me."
Telling the group as well requesting Clawdeen to hand the serum to him before she could make a mistake. The tension was high as well how the wolf girl looked at it and at him, making the choice she handed him the serum. However in a sudden turn of events he opened the vial and drank it, this horrified the four as Komos moved back as well kept his distance from them.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! Who knows what that'll do to you Komos!"
Junior shouting at him at this act along getting a strange feeling there was more to his teacher, Komos looked back at them as his eyes suddenly became red. Shocked and horrified by this sudden change, he groans in pain.
"I'm sorry, but Komos was a nickname that my father gave me whenever I passed out. Him being Hyde of course. My true name, is Muto. Muto Junior."
Telling them his real name as it confused the others about the secret identity, while Frankie had a jolt of energy shock their brain as they were able to recognize the name that he said to them.
"Muto? They were Kaiju's that revolted against Gojira and Pandora's decision in changing the size of the other Kaiju's. Most monsters thought they went extinct due to them not feeding upon energy from the realm."
Explaining about the ancient Kaiju race as they saw how their teacher was groaning at the change. To which they noticed how his skin was changing from tan to grey, as well feeling the painful transformation.
"Correct Frankie. My mother, was a Muto. And one of things about them, is that they keep in a hibernate state during the years so they can properly become their true forms. Still, I couldn't believe my luck. That after coming here and trying to find the laboratory, my best students were able to do it for me."
Congratulating them for finding the lab as he hits the side of the wall as the teenagers heard his shirt tearing. His whole body and limbs begun to double in size as well showing streaks of red glowing in a sinister manner towards the four.
"What exactly are you trying to do then?"
Clawdeen trying to figure out what was the endgame for him thinking that he might have wanted to stay here at Monster High. However his face soon begun to change from a human like appearance to that of triangular jaws resembling a hooked beak showing his Muto side.
"Obvious really. Take revenge on Monster High and become the new king of Kaiju's."
Announcing as he lets out a yell in pain as suddenly a pair of wings grew right out of his back which made the four move away at how their teacher became a terrifying monster. Not realizing what was happening, they didn't know how to accept this news as well fear for what else he had planned for them and for the school if he got out.
