(Paper Mario ost - Star Spirit's Wish.)
"What a pleasure meeting you all. My name is Klevar. Thank you for saving me." Klevar smiled. "With Huff N. Puff gone, peace has return to Flower Field once more."
"You're right. If we hadn't come to Flower Field, they would never see the light of day." Mercedes said.
"Indeed. And now there's only one Star Spirit you'll need to rescue. Here. Please use my Power as you continue your Journey." Klevar said and then give them his power. "Now you have six Star Spirits Power. If you use mine well, it should prove to be extremely helpful in battle. Don't become overconfident though. Bowser has power, as well. The same applies to Ouroboros. Remember that even stronger enemies await you. I hope our Powers will help you all so that you may help us… We're all depending on you! I'll go back to Star Haven now. I can't wait to go there! I've been awfully worried about everyone." He said then he took off.

(Paper Mario ost - Flower Field Rondo)
"Congratulations, everyone! You saved the Star Spirit! Because of your efforts, Flower Field is beautiful again." Wise Wisterwood smiled.
"Oh, we're glad we can help. It would be a shame if we let that cloud baddie getaway from ruining the flowers." Hilda giggled.
"Agreed. I must admit. Coming here was indeed an experience." Seteth smiled
"It's an honor to have you all as our guests. And it was also worth living so long to meet a man of your stature Mario bros."
"Oh, it was nothing." Luigi smiled.
"Please come and see me again. I'll be looking forward to it."
"We will. Now, time to head back." Mario said.
Everyone nodded and then went through the door and then return to Toad Town

"All right. Now to locate the final Star Spirit. We should go see Merlon." Byleth said.
"Sounds like a plan." Rean nodded and then they begin to head to Merlon's house.
(BGM paused)
(Paper Mario ost - Merlon House)
Once they arrived at Merlon's house. They see he isn't alone. There's a Ninji, and five people there too. It's Hanneman, Ferdinand, Avery, Annette, and Lysithea.
"Ah, good, you're back." Merlon said. "I was hoping you all return."
"Ah, Elliot!" Annette cheered.
"Annette!" Elliot smiled.
"Professor Hanneman? Ferdinand, Avery, Annette and Lysithea?" Byleth gasped.
"Ah, Professor Byleth! Edelgard, Class VII, and everyone else!" Ferdinand said.
"We were wondering where you were." Lysithea said.
"So that's every student and facility that are here." Byleth hummed
"Wait, everyone?"Annette asked.
"Hey, Annie."Mercedes waved
"Oh, Mercie! I didn't see you because of these large numbers."
"And I suggest you don't bring your students out here. Otherwise, my house would be cramped." Merlon said. "Anyway, your time for coming here is perfect. There is a guest waiting for you all."
"Is it this Ninji here?" Rean asked.
"Nice to meet you all. I came from Starborn Valley." The Ninji said.
"Starborn Valley?" Rean asked
"Oh that sounds like a fun place." Levi cheered
"Indeed. It is where Star Children are born. However, in order to get there, you have to go through the Shiver Region."
"The Shiver Region?" Byleth asked.
"It's a chilly place far to the north, at the very end of the earth."
"Whoa! That sounds like a very cold place!" Elliot exclaimed
"Trust me it is. And according to the temperature. It's about… between -68 degrees and -128.6 degrees." The Ninji said.
Everyone either eye-widen or jaw dropped of that temperate
"Holy crap! That's like an intense level of cold! How do you people survive such a temperate?!" Machias exclaimed
"Well, we have clothes for that occasion. I suggest you do the same. Anyway, Merle, who hails from there, said that he had something important to tell you all." The Ninji answered
"Merle of Starborn Valley is also my son. If he's searching for you all, then you can be sure that something is afoot." Merlon said.
"But how do we get to the Shiver Region?" Emma asked.
"I think somewhere deep below Toad Town is a pipe connected to Shiver City. Starborn Valley is located quite near Shiver City."
"If your son is calling for us. There's a high chance there's a Star Spirit somewhere in the coldest… no… ONE of the coldest places in the Mushroom Kingdom." Sara said.
"I'm not so sure about the temperature Faerghus is. But It can't be that level of cold… would it?" Dimitri asked.
"That's a good question. We have to judge if it cold as Faerghus or even colder." Sylvain said in Byleth's pocket.
"If I may interrupt. Why would you want to go to a tundra place as Shiver City?" Avery asked.
"If you're going to explain to them, I suggest you do it outside." Merlon said.
One explanation later...
(Resuming Toad Town)
"Whoa! That sounds… amazing tale!" Annette exclaimed
"Star Spirits, rescue them in order to stop King Bowser. The one responsible for the castle disappearance?" Lysithea asked.
"And you're on a journey to rescue them… I'm honestly surprised that all of this is true." Ferdinand said.
"And I can't believe we miss out on most of the Field trip." Avery sighed.
"And you meet these Star Spirits who have the power to grant wishes?" Hanneman asked
"That is correct. I witness their appearance for myself. The land of the Mushroom Kingdom surprises me. Both its legends and the entire continent. It's much larger than Fodlan." Seteth answered
"I see. Seteth is a person very difficult to persuade. And if all of you see it. I can't be helped but curious as well." Hanneman said.
"In that case, you can take over and deal with the cold." Manuela said. "Unless we're going shopping for winter clothes."
"Hmm… the clothes I'm wearing are suitable for both winter and traveling… but for the rest of you…" Rean hummed.
"Yes, we could go shopping at the Coconut Mall." Emma nodded
"What's a Mall?" Dorothea asked.
"It's a large building that is connected to several varies of retail stores or even restaurants." Elliot answered
"Oh my! Now that sounds like my kind of place!" Manuela giggled.
"Still. We could go to the mall, or ask Levi to use an anti-cold spell." Fie suggested.
"Anti-cold spell?" Seteth asked.
"It's a type of magic that can change the temperature of the cold into a warm temperature we're in." Levi explain.
"You have something like that too?!" Sylvain exclaim in Byleth's pocket.
"Okay, so guess Lysithea can take over for us while we can just relax for a bit." Claude said.
"Yes. Annette, do you think you can take over for us?" Dimitri asked
"Of course, I can. I'm interested. I'll do my best!" Annette giggled
"Same applies to the both of you." Edelgard said to Ferdinand and Avery.
"Understood. Ferdinand, try not to think she couldn't handle it." Avery said.
"Like I would say something so immature." Ferdinand exclaimed.
And so the party jump into Byleth's pocket and then they resume the journey. They begin to head to the underground and then enter the warp pipe.

(Paper Mario ost - Underground Pipe)
"So we're really going through the underground to find this pipe?" Lysithea asked.
"Yeah, if you're worried about the smell, I don't blame you. But bare with for a moment." Levi suggest.
They walked around and found a pathway, only as they did, they came across a dead end with a huge treasure chest in it as they walked over to it… and revealed some Ultra Boots for the bros.
"Ohh. Look at these boots." Luigi said
"What's so special about those boots?" Lysithea asked
"You might be not able to tell, but these boots are quite special. Think of them as a piece of equipment that gives an extra punch." Mario answered.
"You guys stomp on your enemies?" Annette asked
"And Hammer." Luigi added.
"Huh. I never knew you can stomp on someone."
They continue to walk through the underground and passing through and taking care of some enemies. Soon they soon came across a door and opened it to reveal a Warp Pipe, and then went down… only to come to a more frozen part of the underground.
"Oof. I can feel the chill in the air." Annette said
"Then we're in the right place. And through that pipe leads to our destination." Sara said.
"I still find it surprising that a pipe would lead us to another place." Avery blink.
"Agreed. Now I'm wondering about how these pipes functions with their transportation." Lysithea nodded.
"I have to admit I'm curious about these pipes. Could it be that it's a magical?" Hanneman wondered.
"I wonder about this as well. And it seems they can even be used even greater transportation." Ferdinand nodded.
"We can discuss how these warp pipes work another time. It's getting colder. We better brace ourselves. Unless you can perform the spell now?" Byleth asked as he turn to Levi.
"Oh yeah. I think it's time." Levi nodded and then he snap his finger and then a magic circle appeared underneath them as it swirl up and then vanished.
"And now I don't feel the cold anymore. Good job." Yuri said.
"Wow. That's really cool! Wait no pun intended!" Annette replied. "Hey, Levi, right? Can you teach me that magic?"
"I'm curious how that works too." Lysithea said.
"Hehe. You girls aren't the first. But I'll be glad too." Levi chuckled as they walked to the Warp Pipe and went in, heading to Shiver City.

(Paper Mario ost - Cold Reception in Shiver City)
"So this Shiver City. It's a nice little town. But how come it's called a city?" Lysithea asked.
"Maybe we're in the town setting? It's possible we haven't explored the city yet." Annette suggest.
"Aww, look at the residence too. Aren't they adorable penguins?" Levi chuckled.
"They're actually Bumpties. Similar to penguins." Mario said.
"How many penguin species are here in the Mushroom Kingdom…"
"Hmm… it's too bad we couldn't see how cold this place is, compare to Faerghus." Annette shrug.
"Want to find out?" Levi asked with a smirk on his face.
"Hmm… not sure. What do you think you're Highness?"
"Maybe later. Right now, we should head to Starborn Village." Dimitri answered.
"Right, let's exit the city." Rean nodded as they walked ahead to the town gate… but a Bumpty prevented them from going forward.
"Excuse us, we would like to leave the city." Alisa said.
"You want to leave the city? Sorry, no can do. This road leads to Shiver Snowfield. If you want to leave the city through here. You'll need permission from the mayor." The Bumpty said.
"I see. So where can we find the mayor?" Rean asked
"He should be in his house. It's on the other side of the city."
"Understood. Let's go everyone." Rean said as they nodded as they turned around and walked to the west. They walked further until they found a house that had a snowman near the front porch, then they walked over to a Bumpty. "Excuse us, do you know where the mayor's house is at?"
"Of course, he lives in that house with the snowman near the front porch." The Bumpty said.
"Aww, that's cute." Annette giggled.
"So the mayor's house is by the snowman." Hanneman said
"Thank you for the help." Emma replied as they walked over to the Mayor's house and Sara knocked on the door.
"Coming!" A female voice said as she opened the door, revealing a female Bumpty.
"Hello, we're looking for the mayor." Sara said.
"Oh, he's inside. Come in, you must be freezing!" She said as they walked in. "He's in the other room. Go say hi to him." She said. "I'll fix you up some soup!"
"Thank you so much, ma'am." Elliot smiled as they walked into the other room.
"Excuse us, Mr. Mayor, we would like to-" Levi then pause as everyone see a Bumpty lying on the ground. "Huh?"

"Is he… lying on the ground?" Lysithea title her head.
"Wait… something doesn't feel right." Avery replied. "Look at his eyes."
They look at his eyes and they sae X's on his eyes.
"Wait… what do those means?" Lysithea asked with a gulp.
"Mr. Mayor, are you all right?" Elliot asked with a gulp.
"Is something the matter there?" The Mayor's Wife asked as she walk in. "I heard concern and-" Then she look at her husband. "…Honey?" She went over to investigate him. "Honey?"
"Is he all right?" Alisa asked in concern.
(Paper Mario ost - Murder in Shiver City)
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She screamed as she took off running. "HELP! POLICE! MY HUSBAND WAS MURDERED! HEEEEEEEEELP!"
"M-Murdered?!" Lysithea shout.
"And just when we wanted to ask him to leave the city." Yuri muttered.
"What's goong on here, madam?" Ask a voice from outside. "Just calm down, now. You need to speak slowly so I can get to the bottom of this." The door then opened up to reveal one of the detectives and the wife.
"My husband is dead! Look at him lying there!" The Mayor's wife exclaimed as she covered her eyes. "Oh, my darling husband! Somebody clipped his flippers!"
The detective then approaches the body then examines the body. "By puffin, you're right! The Mayor's been murdered! This is like a mystery novel! Except it's real! How tragic!"
"Shouldn't they first check if he's alive?" Sara asked. "Excuse me." She called out to the detective. "I don't want to introduce to your work. But shouldn't you check on his pulse?"
"His pulse? Why would I do that?"
"Say what?"
"Hmm… who in the world would want to put the mayor on ice?" The detective rub his chin. "Madam do you know of anyone who would do such a thing?"
"Why don't you ask the suspicions there! They are the ones who murder my husband! They barged on in with their evil eyes and nearly killed me! I'm glad to be alive! But my husband… they barged right on into this room and KILLED him!"
"EXCUSE US!?" Lysithea shout. "You were the one who invited us in! And now you ACCUSE US!? We have never done a thing!"
"LIAR! I have done no such thing!"
"Are you that stupid?! How dare you accuse us!" Levi growled. "We had nothing to do with his death! And you did invite us and told us your husband was in the next room!"
"Lies! More lies! You came in here and barge in here! And now you're going to kill me next!"
"We would never do that! And we would never kill the mayor! We just got here!" Rean exclaimed
"More importantly, how can we possibly kill the mayor when we just arrived? That should not be possible. The Bumpty who were by the warp pipe can testify that." Byleth stated as Sara notice the present wrap with the name Herringway
"Oh sure, I bet you threaten them you tell them your innocent!"
"How could you say such a horrible thing?!" Alisa growled. "We don't even look threatening to begin with!"
"That's right! We all have alibis. I don't know how or when this happen, but you were the only one in here!" Machias added
"All right, enough!" The detective shout. "I know the mayor's wife is telling the truth-"
"Excuse us!?" Levi shout.
"But I also know if we're dealing with a backroom murder case. And if you all indeed have alibis then you'll help find the true culprit."
"Us?!" Avery asked
"If you want to clear your names then I suggest you'll find the true culprit. If not, then you're all guilty! " The detective said.
"Oh for the- enough of this farce!" Lysithea complained.
"Let's just find this stupid culprit and then get on with it." Levi said in annoyance. 'I'm going to file a complain once this is over.' He thought and he and everyone begin to leave the house with everyone in town gossiping about how the mayor was murdered.

(Paper Mario ost - Detective Mario)
"And the town is already gossiping." Alisa sighed.
"It's not surprising considering the Mayor's wife scream and panicking." Fie said.
"I'm started to hate this town because of that detective." Lysithea said in annoyance.
"Agreed. Not to mention the mayor's wife lied to the authority. " Avery nodded.
"Right. So do we have any leads on how to fix this mess we somehow stumped upon?" Ferdinand asked.
"I do have one lead." Sara said.
"You do? What is it, Instructor?" Machias asked.
"Right by the mayor's side, there was a present address to someone name Herringway. Something tells me he isn't the culprit but it's the only lead we got."
"Then we'll have to find this Herringway." Hanneman said. "Let's ask around town and see if the people know. That is… if they cooperate with us."
"You're looking for Herringway?" A Bumpty approached them. "He's the mystery novelist who lives here in the city. You'll find his house right to the lake. But his house is always empty though. No one know where he is."
"Thank you for the info. We appreciate it. Okay, let's go." Sara said as they venture forth to the frozen lake and then knock on Herringway house.
"Mr. Herringway, are you home?" Elliot asked but no response.
Then Mario notice that it's unlocked and they see inside. "No one's home."
"The penguin guy wasn't joking…" Fie sighed before noticing something on top of a rooftop, an open chimney. "Hey, look up there."
They all look up at the chimney.
"The chimney? What about it?" Ferdinand asked.
"Someone is still home." Fie answered.
"You don't mean…" Laura turn to her.
"There's another room. A second floor perhaps." Sara said.
"I got it." Fie said and then she jump from roof to roof and then enter the chimney.
With Fie...
"What in the world?!" An old Bumpty exclaimed as Fie dust herself. "Who are you and what are you doing in my fireplace?"
"You wouldn't happen to be Herringway, would you?" Fie asked.
"Yes, why?" He asked as Fie explained to him before she and her friends are framed. "Ah, I see. Very well. Let's go to his house." He then exit his house.
"Yo." Fie said with the peace sign while looking shocked.
"How did you-" "I'll explain on the way. Anyway, I told him everything." Fie answered Lysithea.
"Let's get this farce over with then." Lysithea sighed and then they begin to head back to the Mayor's House. They enter his house again and return to the scene.

(Paper Mario ost - Herringway and the Mayor)
"Oh, you're all back. You found anything?" The detective asked.
"We found Herringway name on that meme you failed to check after you accuse us." Sara cross her arm.
"Bah! If that were true, I certainly would've noticed it." He said before examining his body again. "Oh, he does have the meme name for Herringway." He said as Sara palm face. So Herringway was the murderer!"
"My good man, do you even hear yourself and how ridiculous you sound? I am a good friend of the mayor, why would I kill him in cold blood? Have you even check his pulse?" Herringway asked.
"His pulse?"
"How do you know if he's actually dead. And from what I been informed you haven't check his pulse. Did you consider doing that first?" He asked as the detective walked over to the mayor, check the feeling for a pulse and turned back to the group.
"My word! You're an expert on this, Herringway! I never would've thought that he still had a pulse!" The detective said, as an anime tic mark appeared on Sara's forehead.
"Oh, you ama…!" Sara fumed.

"Ooooh…" The mayor groaned as he got back up. "Oh, my aching back… ouch…"
(Paper Mario ost - Shiver City Mayor)
"Honey! You're actually alive!" The wife exclaimed.
"Hahahaha… of course I'm alive!" The mayor laughed. "I just fell over and knocked my head while getting something off the shelf for Herringway!"
"You were giving me something?" Herringway asked as the mayor gave him the present.
"Yep, a souvenir from Toad Town!"
"Thank you, old friend."
"Well, I guess you can say that this Murder Mystery has been solved!" The detective said and then turned to Sara and the others. "I actually knew that you guys were telling the truth, this thing actually happens every month. I was just wanting to make it as suspenseful as possible!" He said, as they anime fell from this.
"I knew you were innocent!" The wife smiled.
"EXCUSE US!?" Lysithea yelled with an anime tickmark and everyone else also got anime tickmark on their forehead. "FIRST YOU LIED AND NOW YOU BELIEVE US?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW UPSET WE ARE?!"
"Okay, that's it. After this is over. I'm filing a complaint for Princess Peach to here." Levi said.
"Princess Peach?" The Mayor asked
"Yep. We're good friends with her. I'm sure she would be veeeery interested to hear about this. And to tell her about the wannabe detective here not only failed to do his job properly to check the mayor's pulse, and even complain that the mayor's wife accuse us for no reason and lie to the authority that we were the culprits. Let alone the fact that the detective here admits we were telling the truth from the beginning AND know this happened all the time. Wouldn't that be a good reason to complain?" Levi said with a smile but his eyes and lips are not smiling at eye. In fact. He's so mad that he has a dark aura of his rage.
"N-Now, let's not do anything rash! I mean I'm sorry for my wife has trouble you and-"
"Yet you're wife has no excuse to lie and framed us, innocent bystanders, who just want permission to leave the town. I'm sure Princess Peach would like to hear this excuse from you Mayor."
"Honey, you didn't'…"
"I'm sorry!" The Mayor's Wife bow to the floor.
"P-please accept my deepest apologies all of you! Is there anything I can do to quell the anger my wife has caused you?"
"Well, you can start by clearing our names from the get-go. Second, if you give us permission to leave the town." Levi answered
"Of course, I can do-"
"And next, you can stay by either firing this wannabe detective here-" He continue, causing the detective to respond in shocked. "Or have him do his job PROPERLY!"
"I understand… I'll send the word out."
"Thank you. If you excuse us." Levi smiled and he and everyone leave the mayor's house.
"I'm getting fired, aren't I?" The detective asked.
"Either that or you redo your detective work." The Mayor answered
Back with everyone…
"I'm never coming to this town again." Lysithea said as they were near exiting the town.
"Agreed." Everyone respond and then left the town.
Well, I figured someone had to tell them. Poor wife of the Mayor. But looks like everyone is almost there!
