I'm A Dead Man!
Summary: A drabble written for the Tumblr hurt/comfort dialogue prompt: "Don't worry, darling. I won't let them hurt you."
Mozzie introduces June to the world of video games.
Eyes focussed, frantically scanning the terrain, Mozzie couldn't see any way out. The enemy was surrounding him, closing in. "They've got me! I'm a dead man!"
"Don't worry, Darling. I won't let them hurt you." June proceeded to blast away, clearing an escape route. "I've got you covered! Go!" she shouted. Mozzie didn't need any encouragement and ran for his life, his virtual life that is.
Thirty minutes later they were both laughing having survived the game. "I must admit that was more exhilarating than book club," June said.
"Next level, same time next week?" Mozzie asked.
"Definitely," June responded.
