Harry felt the rush of her nerves flooding all the senses he felt. His breathing was slow, but the reality of the situation wasn't. He stood there in front of Tanya, frozen as she was smiling one of her careless smiles.

"You told me it would be a week."

Her head rose in a mischievous manner staring back at him. "When the girls heard about the situation, they practically pushed me off the island." "Island?" Tanya gave a faint nod before she came closer to the man's personal space. Her arms reached up to wrap around his shoulders.

"Kalokairi." The woman answered as the man questioned internally about where he knew the name.

"But let's leave that for another time; I haven't been able to get you off my mind." Bright's brow arched at the very distinct response.

"One meeting in my office, one long moment of complex flirting...and now you can't get me off your mind?" Tanya glared at Harry, telling him it was time to get the moment moving to the next. "Can we get the door closed? I don't exactly need my neighbors seeing me with a random woman." Tanya's brow arches.

"Because they believe you're gay?"

"No, because they believe I'm a whore and fickle."

It was a joke, but the woman rolled her eyes before forcing herself into the apartment. "You've what? Dated like one guy in the past few years!?" Harry shut the door behind the woman and was confused by the question. "One? Gerald hasn't been the only man I've dated; he's been a steady partnership but not a stable one." The woman's hand rose as if trying to pause the conversation.

"How many?"

"In the past year?"

Tanya had a bitter look on her features. "Yes."

"Five that I officially dated, but I've been with others..." Harry was honest, and he knew that honesty made the woman uncomfortable. "Rosie was right; I don't know if I can handle the truth." The man had a look that showed he was now upset. "I beg your pardon? You're ashamed that I have been with other men; You have known this for years!"

Tanya looked at Harry with a mix of shame and uncertainty. "Yes, but I wasn't..." She stopped right then as Harry followed the woman into his home. "What!? Not wanting to fuck me then?"

It was a question that had the woman tearing up. "H-how could you want to be with me? If you've mostly been with men!?" There it was, the question he had been waiting on.

Before she had even walked through the door, he knew it was coming.

"How could you want to be with a man who's probably fucked as many men as you have?"

Tanya's eyes closed before turning her back to her former lawyer; This would be a much longer conversation than the last. Harry shuts the door to his apartment and locks the door behind him.

"I'm bisexual for various reasons; these desires aren't as complex as you perceive them." She didn't want to hear him keep on about being with men. Her second husband had left her for a man, which still cut deeply. "Tanya, look at me!" Harry demanded as the woman turned to look back at him with tears streaming down her face.

"You let them get to you, and now you're second-guessing what happened!" The woman nods without even trying to deny it. She knew her friends were trying to protect her, but it all left wounds in her defenses. "I've been here all weekend with nothing but you on my mind, no one else but you. Trying to let it all sink in that it had finally happened, that you were ready to take a chance on me."

Those words left the woman light-headed as Harry moved closer to where she stood. His eyes were on her, staring daggers over her body. "Why would you be the first in line?" Tanya asks back sharply before the man reaches out to grab her waist. He can feel her almost fall as he holds her. His left hand moved up to hold her more firmly in his hands.

"Don't tell me you came here just to push me away again."

Tanya's head lowers as she leans forward to rest on his chest. "N-no, I came here to make sure this is it; That we're going to do this all. That you truly still want me." Harry sighs as he holds the woman in his arms. "Of course I want you; I have wanted you for twenty years. There hasn't been a time where you weren't in the back of my mind."

It made Tanya feel better hearing him say that, though it always was concerning. How many relationships did he go through knowing he was still in love with the woman?

"Even when you were with the men, with Gerald?"

Harry pulled away slightly to make Tanya look up at him. "After the fight with Robert, Gerald accused me of having an affair with you. We fought, and I broke up with him because I wouldn't stop being your lawyer." If what the man had just said was true, Tanya was shocked.

"You're why I broke up with Gerald, and I don't regret it. Truthfully I couldn't be with him after I found out he was sleeping with his gym partner." There was a moment where Bright sighed and turned his face away from the woman. He wasn't ashamed of being with a man, but he knew this was more awkward considering the situation.

"H-he cheated on you?" Harry shrugged at her question. "Yes, well, he had his reasons for doing so."

Gerald had given the man an ultimatum after the year he was stuck on Tanya's divorce case. It was either he quit the case, or they quit their relationship. "I wasn't going to allow him to dictate my life's choices; I chose you. Even if we never ended up where we are right now."

The woman felt a little worse for wear, knowing she had ruined his relationship with Gerald. "I'm sorry, Harry...I didn't mean-."

"Tanya, dear god, you were the push I needed to break up with the man who had been cheating on me for six months." When the Englishman said it like that, she didn't know exactly why she was even trying to apologize.

"Right, fuck him. It's all their loss and our time to gain."

The change in Tanya's attitude made Harry smile. "Is that so?" He asks as he attempts to lean in toward her. Her head nodded slightly, noticing what he was doing. It was strange and intense to want to kiss the man again. Tanya felt a light head as she breathed slowly, just as Harry's mouth met hers. This kiss wasn't like the one in his office; it felt like it meant something more.

As a hand came up to rest on the left side of Harry's neck, the man pressed into the kiss further, leading the woman into a deepened and much longer form of the embrace. "Mhmm...Harry." His eyes shut as he tried to get lost in the moment. Only to be pulled back into the apartment and the reality of what was happening.

"Harry.." Tanya spoke again, causing the man to remove his lips from hers and kiss her cheek. That only made the woman smile before she made a soft hushed sound. Feeling the way Harry had started kissing from across her jawline. "Y-you're not listening to me, are you?" She asks as the man keeps trailing his touches down onto her neck.

"What if I said I didn't want this to happen?"

Harry's head rose quickly, and he looked like a kicked puppy. "Really?" Shaking her head as she pulled out of his arms. "No, not really...I want this; I also want more control of the situation." The man watches as the woman moves back away from him. It was clear her nerves were getting to her as she reached for the button of her blouse.

"You are in complete control." He tells the woman as he stays where she had left him. "I wouldn't dare move without your certainty." Her steps slowed down as the woman was undoing each button running down her shirt.

"Do you mean that you won't do anything unless I tell you to?"

He nodded as the last button slipped the clothing free, and the item began to slide off her shoulders. "Then can you follow me into the bedroom, so I can tell you what I want you to do to me?"

"Oh dear god, yes."
